Im sure that young man had several salient points to make but God, in his infinite wisdom, wouldnt let up with the wind long enuff for those ideas to b addressed. I guess i shoulda been there insteada bitchin about the audio? Huh?John H. Zoomie country, IN.
Yes, too bad and maybe there is something David can purchase which would negate the wind for next time.
Thx for takin that comment as intended. So many times grammatical inferences lead to improper assumptions. I really shoulda been there because what i could make out was spot on. Thx Brock, u do good work!JohnH. Zoomie Land, IN 46fugovt
Certainly, Sir and plan on coming to the next one which will be the first weekend in October with free camping Wednesday to Monday. Jot it down on your calendar. :)
His talk was both encouraging and demoralizing. Taking care of any one of those tasks would be a major undertaking. Simply feeding any number of people during or after an "event" will be a super bitch. MREs and Mountain House won't cut it. Here's a link I found re how a WW1 Army field bakery operated: http://www.seabeecook.com/cookery/army_bread_1916.htmIt's a major job just for bread and the inputs of ingredients, water, and firewood are staggering. Hard work around the clock as well. Where does all that flour and yeast and the rest keep coming from week after month after year no matter what?DanielP.S. Any video of other speakers?
Indeed and thanks for the link which I will post. Yes, videos of the other speakers will be put up when David is finished with them. Appreciate your interest and hope you can attend the next one which will be the first weekend in October. Thanks again.
