“I’ll Come To Your Place When SHTF” – No You Won’t

(This post is something you can send to your friends or print out and hand to them when SHTF.)

Dear Friend:

I love my friends, but I will shoot you if I have to.  I’m serious.  Here’s why.

I tried to persuade you to prepare for what’s coming and, in the process, revealed that to you that I’m preparing.  You realized that I have food, guns, etc., and ended up saying, half kidding but half serious, “I’ll come to your place when SHTF.”

No you won’t.  I will shoot you.  If you threaten me and my family, I will use force to defend against any threat.  And showing up at my place hungry and unprepared is a threat to me.  You will eat my food and use up my medical supplies, generator, firewood, etc.  That’s less of these life-saving things for me and my family.  That’s a threat.

Tipler [art-link-symbol-tiny-grey-arrow-only-rev01.gif photo] is a hamlet of 205 on the north border of Wisconsin [art-link-symbol-tiny-grey-arrow-only-rev01.gifmap]. This school, or perhaps its replacement, "consisted of 4 classrooms and a good sized gymnasium. When I started school there, we had 4 teachers, but it had shrunk to two teachers, each of whom taught 4 grades, by the time I completed 8th grade in 1946 art-link-symbol-tiny-grey-arrow-only-rev01.gif." It no longer exists.

art-link-symbol-small-rev01.jpg The Derb as an optimist
The end of white ethnomasochism. The pathetic willingness to drop trou and bend over for bullying agitators from other ethnies, may be receding. There are signs. Without white ethnomasochism the whole diversity racket collapses. No more staffing up police and fire departments with incompetents and crooks so the quota numbers come out right; no more wafting of magic negroes into high office on thermals of sentimental guilt; no more front-page sob stories in the New York Times about illiterate Guatemalan welfare moochers “seeking a better life”; no more tolerance of black mobs looting stores to protest imaginary wrongs. If whites stop hating themselves, it all goes away, says John Derbyshire in this article, The Optimistic Column, at Taki's Magazine.

art-link-symbol-small-rev01.jpg Common Core math
Two huge forces are converging on American students. On the one side, they won’t be taught to do math in any thorough or efficient way. On the other side, they will be virtually ordered to seek wrong answers, or at least be comfortable with them. Some kids who have great innate math ability will survive and be able to do mathematics. But everybody else will be math-phobic, math-ignorant, or math-helpless. You will learn to avoid answer-getting and become comfortable with truth-hating, says Bruce Price in this article, Math is on life support. Can we save it?, at American Thinker.

The eternal rube - Human Rights Watch notes that taxpayers actually pay three times for officers who repeatedly commit abuses: “once to cover their salaries while they commit abuses; next to pay settlements or civil jury awards against officers; and a third time through payments into police ‘defense' funds provided by the cities.”
John Whitehead at rutherford.org

On being not black enough - For some reason we are brainwashed to think, if you’re not a thug or an idiot, you’re not black enough. If you go to school, make good grades, speak intelligent, and don’t break the law, you’re not a good black person. And it’s a dirty, dark secret. There are a lot of black people who are unintelligent, who don’t have success. It’s best to knock a successful black person down because they’re intelligent, they speak well, they do well in school, and they’re successful. We’re the only ethnic group who say, ‘Hey, if you go to jail, it gives you street cred.’ It’s just typical BS that goes on when you’re black, man.

45 days searching for Eric Frein: How many do you think they would have for one who killed an average citizen?

Via III Percent Patriots

Recently, my friend Max posted this about The Eric Frein situation in Pennsylvania, and I decided to expand on this idea, and give some of my recent, and prior thoughts (two old posts from my other blog) on what is happening right now in PA. The search for Frein started on September 12th, and continues to the present (a month and a half later). How long do you think this search would have been allotted, if it was a civilian that had been murdered in an identical event. Three days, a week, maybe? In all honesty, I doubt they would have even searched for three days….HYPOCRISY MUCH?

Then, let’s talk cost. How much do you think the search has cost taxpayers? They have shut down hunting areas, and schools over this manhunt. These actions, even though Governor Corbett said this, “The night of the incident … he had the opportunity to shoot civilians at the Blooming Grove barracks at the same time he shot police officers” but did not.”

Seeking to Seriously Wound Sherman

 Photo123565.jpg

Though Gen. Robert E. Lee trusted Joseph E. Johnston in command in North Carolina, his continued retreat in front of Sherman greatly alarmed Lee, who wrote “Should you be forced back in this direction [Richmond] both armies would certainly starve. You must judge what the probabilities will be of arresting Sherman by battle. A bold and unexpected attack might relieve us.”

North Carolina War Between the States Sesquicentennial Commission

Seeking to Seriously Wound Sherman

“Sherman came on irresistibly – like Lord Cornwallis – North Carolinians were reminded.  The feeling of dread, of terror, may have been comparable to the folk tales of their grandparents, but not the speed, the destructive power, the calamitous results. Compared to Sherman’s, Cornwallis’s invasion during the Revolution was child’s play.

Columbia, the capital of South Carolina, fell on February 17; Charleston, the following morning; Wilmington, on the twenty-second. Richmond had looked to Gen. Pierre G.T. Beauregard to coordinate defensive efforts and obstruct Sherman’s advance . . . [though he resorted] to heady 1861 rhetoric; concentrate 35,000 Confederates at Salisbury, North Carolina and fight Sherman there, “crush him, then to concentrate all forces against Grant, and then to march on Washington to dictate a peace.”

[Once Robert E. Lee was appointed] commander-in-chief of all Confederate armies . . . Lee turned to President Jefferson Davis and asked that Joseph E. Johnston be retrieved from oblivion. With greatest reluctance, Davis acquiesced [though concerned that the] General will not risk a battle unless he has all the chances in his favor.”  Lee wired Johnston on February 22. “Concentrate all available forces and drive back Sherman.”

The controversial Johnston had worked a miracle before – when he gathered fragments of two defeated Confederate armies at Dalton, Georgia, in early 1864, and fashioned them into an effective fighting force that proceeded to frustrate Sherman’s heavier numbers and resources for three months.

Sherman’s strategy by the last week of February 1865 was becoming clear to the Confederates. He would continue to push through the Carolinas, up into Virginia, and there unite with Grant against Lee.  Lee doubted that Sherman would move northwest via Charlotte . . . rather, Lee expected him to turn toward Goldsboro and the coast – to snap the vital [Wilmington &] Weldon railroad and unite with Schofield.

On February 24, Johnston went to Charlotte, assumed command from Beauregard, and immediately held a review. [The troops cheered the General] and this feeling of confidence in Johnston and enthusiasm over his return to command swept through the ranks and the officer’s corps of the Army of Tennessee. They loved the man. He could redeem them. They knew it.

Once [Johnston combined his disparate forces into one, he] would possess a sizable fore, admittedly less than half of Sherman’s numbers but sufficient to cause mischief, perhaps even to wound his adversary seriously. If Sherman’s army could be caught divided and fought in fractions, certainly before he united with [his other wing], there might be hope of checking, perhaps defeating, part of his force – an isolated column perhaps. Once this had been accomplished, other positive opportunities would present themselves.”

Nurses Are Calling in Sick and Refusing to Treat America’s Latest Ebola Patient

 Image: foundationsofamerica.com

America’s latest Ebola patient, Dr. Craig Spencer, was admitted to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday, despite passing the enhanced screening process that is now being used with travelers from Ebola-ridden countries in West Africa.

But Bellevue Hospital has an unforeseen problem.

Nurses are calling in sick and, in doing so, refusing to treat Spencer.

After Thomas Duncan’s death, two nurses who had treated Duncan were diagnosed with Ebola. Despite our CDC director blaming a failure in protocol, it has been said that no protocols were in place.

In light of the failures in Dallas, could you blame anyone who didn’t feel safe in treating Dr. Craig Spencer in New York?

Improvised Sniper Rifles, even nation states start out pressing something into service

Via avordvet

The Mosin Nagant is the longest continued service serving sniper rifle in the world, even if the longest continued manufactured rifled is the M98 Mauser.

The Russians, then Soviets, literally built millions of them, and spread them out across the world to arm Communist Guerillas from Vietnam to Central America. Beyond that, other countries used them as they wound up in the inventory for some reason or other, such as Poland, Finland, and the United States.

The Finns created what I consider to be the pinnacle of excellence when it comes to a Mosin Nagant based sniper rifle, the Tkiv-85.

Confirmed: Sharyl Attkisson's Computer Was Hacked, Heavily Monitored By The Federal Government

Last year Former CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson, who is known for incredible work on Operation Fast and Furious, Benghazi and other White House scandals, noticed her computers at work and at home were acting strange. She suspected someone had hacked into her computer, specifically into a desktop in her home due to the machine turning on and off by itself at all hours of the night. An initial review of the hard drive revealed that her computer had in fact been compromised, but it wasn't known at the time who did it. The intruder into her system didn't take any financial information and it was clear they were looking for something else.

With Race A Dead Heat, Pro-Hagan Ad Ties Tillis To Trayvon Martin Shooting

Public Policy Polling had Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan with a 3-point lead last week, although it was a D+7 poll. Now, Marist has a D+11 poll showing the race is tied at 43 percent between Hagan and Republican Thom Tillis. Earlier this month, Marist had Hagan up 4 points over Tillis.

Tillis had told Townhall –with a great degree of confidence–that his team saw the polls moving in his direction, even with pollsters that had him trailing Hagan in previous surveys.

Are We Ready For The Fall Of Baghdad?

THE SUICIDES ON APRIL 30, 1975

I recently was in Vietnam and spent some time in prosperous, capitalist Saigon, now called Ho Chi Minh City, and toured the American War Museum. I believe there are a number of parallels between the Vietnam and Iraq War and that history could repeat itself now in Baghdad. Who can forget the former Vietnamese supporters of America being left behind as the last helicopter left the roof of the US embassy?

Today, America still has the strongest military in the world but our manufacturing capacity and financial situation shows the US is on a downhill slide like earlier over-extended and bankrupt empires throughout world history.

We've already watched the frightening incompetence of the Obama Administration and the CDC in dealing with the Ebola virus. One would have to be blind not to see the petrodollar deathwatch as Russia, China and the BRIC countries build new trading alternatives to avoid using the dollar world reserve currency when trading energy and other financial dealings.

This is simple payback for Washington's threats, banking fines and penalties against institutions and nations de jure that fail to march to the US tune of dictating trade and financial arrangements. The world is now ganging up on the United States because Washington has terrorized smaller nations around the world for decades as the big bully on the block.

UN Resolution 2117 Voted Down (OLD)

DATED and thanks to Anonymous.

The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point  number 11. It: “CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION and DISARMAMENT of all UN countries”.

By a 53-46 vote – The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution.  HOORAY!

This is that brief, glorious moment in history when everyone stands around…reloading.

Now, Which 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us? Well, let their names become known ! See below .. If you vote in one of the states listed with these 46  “legislators” vote against them.

Fort Gregg: The Confederate Alamo & Fort Mahone/Fort Damnation

====================================

My great grandfather and great uncle knew all the men in the "Civil War Requiem" video as they were part of the 53rd NC which was the sole unit defending Fort Mahone. (Fort Mahone was named "Fort Damnation" by the Yankees) *Handpicked men of the 53rd (My great grandfather was one of these) made the final, night assault at Petersburg in an attempt to break Grant's line. This was against Fort Stedman which was a few miles to the slight northeast. They initially succeeded, but reinforcements drove them back. This video is made from photographs which were taken the day after the 53rd evacuated the lines the night before to begin the retreat to Appomattox. I have many more pictures taken by the same photographer, one of these shows a 14 year old boy and the other is the famous picture of the blond, handsome soldier with his musket.
