On the Gentle Train Ride in a Burma From Another Era

My best experience during this holiday was the train linking the villages of Nyaugshwe and Thazi, which took me on a (very) slow ride through the heart of the country. At an average speed of 20 kilometers per hour on a 240-kilometer journey, I had plenty of time to discover the country’s picturesque landscapes, but also to appreciate the kindness and harmonious lifestyle of local residents.

I wish for this photo essay to be a reminder of how peaceful a place Myanmar can be, and I truly hope this is just a temporary setback on the road to freedom. Stay strong and safe, Myanmar.

Fly Over Vietnam in the 1930s via These Rare Black-and-White Shots

What if you had a time machine and traveled 90 years into the past with a drone?

First, you'd probably have to explain the advanced technology that allowed you to pilot a tiny machine at remarkable speeds through the sky. But once you convinced people you weren't a sorcerer or a technological genius, you'd be able to take some pretty amazing pictures of the rapidly changing Vietnam.

Alas, we don't have a time machine. But these photos take in the 1930s from an airplane do a good job of re-creating the experience. Taken by an unknown Frenchman, they reveal Saigon without a skyline, Vung Tau with no Jesus statue, Quy Nhon when it was just a small fishing village, and in general a lot more green space in Vietnam's cities and countryside.

Outside of these Democrat-run cities, America is peaceful, safe, clean, and racially tolerant.

What’s more, if you remove these Democrat-run cities from our national statistics, you will find an America that is overwhelmingly peaceful, safe, clean, and racially tolerant.

Nevertheless, Democrats and their fake-media allies still blame Republicans for all of their problems.

NFL legend Brett Favre weighed in on the increasing politicization of American sports and said that avid fans of sports are not interested in seeing sports mixed up with politics.

The retired football quarterback said political leanings and partisan movements are not welcomed in sports as die-hard sports fans watch sports only for sports, not politics.

“I think both sides, for the most part, want to see it just remain about the sport, not about politics. At least that’s my interpretation. I know when I turn on a game, I want to watch the game. I want to watch the players play and teams win and lose and come from behind,” Favre told Andrew Klaven in a recent interview.

As an American Patriot, I have been donating to the politician's most of my life. After many thoughts and consideration, I find that my donations have been used to destroy my way of life. As of late I see that my vote does not matter, because that has been rigged all of my life. America has a corrupt government and as I see it, every politician is corrupt and most of them are known thieves and pedophiles. I used to respect the government, the politicians as I thought that a person that worked in the government were top of the line United States citizens to be able to work for the government. Well lately I have found that I have been completely wrong thinking this way, most people that work for the government are corrupt or they support the corruption. For me and my house, I will never donate 1 red cent to this government and I would proudly enlist as a firing squad member to serve justice to these lowlife bastards. So please don't ask me for a donation!

Minnesota Mayor: Police ‘Do Not Necessarily’ Need Weapons During Traffic Stops

The Brooklyn Center mayor’s assertion that police do not “need to necessarily have weapons for every traffic stop” comes the same week as the release of footage from the New Mexico State Police, illustrating how quickly a “routine traffic stop” can turn fatal for an officer.

Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliott told reporters Tuesday that he does not believe officers need to have weapons during every traffic stop. His comments follow the shooting death of Daunte Wright on Sunday.

“I don’t believe that officers need to necessarily have weapons every time they’re making a traffic stop,” Mayor Elliott said in a video tweeted by the Washington Examiner. The mayor also said officers might not need weapons in other situations as well.

We've all seen how "woke" companies and corporations have bent the knee to progressive left-wing ideologies, and are actively working to promote them.  The antics of Facebook, Twitter and other social media companies before and after last November's election are too well-known to require comment.  Last week saw Coca-Cola and other big companies bend the knee to progressive pressure and condemn a new Georgia voting law that is more genuinely democratic and pro-free-election than many others in this country.  However, the corporations didn't care about that - only about the politically correct talking points they were spoon-fed by their political masters.

O’Keefe confronted Chester at a restaurant where Chester had been talking to the undercover journalist. The journalist got up and left the table and Chester was under the impression that she was going to return.
