WiscoDave: "The Armorer"

Just wanted to update everyone on the III to III Mission of WiscoDave, henceforth known among our Tribe here as "The Armorer". Below are some pics of the plates that arrived today. We received about 16 sets, more than enough to equip every unit member, (and some wives) with protection equal to what many OPFOR use. In the pics you can see the base plate, nice smooth cut and perfect size for any standard plate carrier. I used a little spray cleaner and then some WD40. They look great. I will begin distributing these today. Anti-frag coating will be added later. They will only go to Patriots who will fight for liberty in our AO.

I can not thank WiscoDave enough for this incredibly generous support. Keep in mind this is a Patriot who has never attended one of our FTXs or Musters. I have not met him in person or shaken his hand. (yet) But with this act he has cemented a place with our tribe. We will always have a billet open for him and his family if they ever need it, for ANY reason. If he needs us we will come. He LITERALLY went out of his way, and out on a limb to SAVE the LIVES of Patriots in the coming ruckus.

How many of us can say the same? I am humbled and honored to have crossed digital paths with such a great Man. He will deny it, and try to shift credit somewhere else, but my folks know who arranged this, and who to thank. To any others who assisted in the endeavor, you have our gratitude as well (Doc).  I will try to get more pics with some of our folks wearing the plates in the near future. I know many of us have spoken of III to III, WiscoDave proves that some of us can LIVE IT as well.

Thanks again WiscoDave, you are officially the man.

Shoeless Southerners and a Vast New Market for Northern Goods

 http://www.biography.com/imported/images/Biography/Images/Profiles/S/William-Tecumseh-Sherman-9482051-1-402.jpg

The poverty of the American South complained of by FDR had been caused by the destruction and rapine wrought by Grant and Sherman’s armies; it would be more accurate to state that instead of being liberated, the black race merely acquired new masters.  Those black people were already Christianized and educated in practical pursuits, but Northern emissaries would help them become consumers of Northern-made goods.
Bernhard Thuersam

Shoeless Southerners and a Vast New Market for Northern Goods

“Some years ago Secretary of Labor Francis Perkins raised the temperature of many Southerners to fever height by suggesting that if the people of that section could be persuaded to wear shoes a veritable “social revolution” would result.  The mass-production system of the United States, the secretary told a welfare council in May, 1933, depends upon purchasing power, the proper development of which would lead to prosperity beyond anything we “have ever dared to dream of.”

If the wages of the millworkers of the South could be raised to such a level that they could afford shoes, a great demand for footwear would result.  Indeed, said the secretary, when it is realized that “the whole South is an untapped market for shoes” it becomes clear that great “social benefits” and “social good” would inevitably come from the development of our “mass-production system” to meet this latent consuming power.

Southern editors and speakers indignantly denied the canard that Southerners bought no shoes and retorted that such comments were only what might have been expected from a woman, especially one who knew nothing about the South.

It was even suggested that should all the inhabitants of the South suddenly wake to wearing shoes the resultant wear and tear on streets, sidewalks, and hotel carpets might cause grave financial loss to the area.

That was in 1933 . . . [and it was maintained that] Markets can only exist where there is demand; demand comes close upon the heels of knowledge.  Knowledge, or education in the ways of the West, has therefore been considered essential if “backward” peoples are to be induced to purchase western goods.  [Henry M.] Stanley, the African explorer, in an address before the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, published in 1884 [asserted] that if Christian missionaries should clothe naked Negroes of the Congo, even in one dress for use on the Sabbath, “320,000,000 yards of Manchester cotton cloth” would be required . . . Should they become sufficiently educated in the European moral code to feel the necessity for a change of clothing every day, cloth to the value of [26 million pounds] a year would be necessary.

When the natives have been educated they would abandon their idleness and sloth, [John Williams, missionary to Tahiti said in 1817], and become industrious workers.  Then, he asserted, they will apply to our merchants for goods . . . “

[When FDR called for a New Deal in the South] He certainly must have been aware of the implications of the thesis that the poorly housed, undernourished, and ill-clad Southerner must be given greatly increased purchasing power to enable him to better his economic condition, thus strengthening the demand for manufacture products and consequently improving the economy of the nation as a whole.

It is also certain that the concern which Secretary Perkins felt for the shoeless Southerner was not without precedent.  When the armies of Grant and Sherman liberated the Southern Negro, the economic implications were not lost on the people of the victorious section. Following in the wake of the Union armies a host of teachers and missionaries flocked to the South, determined to Christianize and educate the freed Negro . . .  with a decidedly abolitionist tinge, to be sure.

[These] people, their robes of self-righteousness wrapped firmly around them . . . carried with them the New England school, complete with curriculum, texts and method, but they also took with them the attitudes and beliefs of the social reformer and, specifically, the militant abolitionist.  Politically, the teachers and missionaries became the tools of the [Republican] Radicals in their program of reconstruction . . .

Sensing in the alphabet and the book the key to the white man’s position of dominance, the open-sesame which would unlock the magic door of equality and wealth, the Negro, like the Polynesian, flocked to the church and the school.  As one observer wrote, the “spelling book and primer” seemed to them Alladin’s [sic] lamp, which will command over all the riches and glory of the world.  In brief, they believed that education was “the white man’s fetich,” which would guarantee wealth, power, and social position.

Some of the teachers [and missionaries] understood the inevitable result of the extension of freedom, Christianity, and education to the Negro – the development of a vast new market for northern goods, which would result in great profits to northern mills.”

Surprise! Barry Soetoro Voter Registration FOIA Request Denied By DC Election Board

A few weeks ago we reported a bizarre story about Barry Soetoro being registered to vote in Washington D.C. Soetoro was registered with a White House address and had Barack Obama’s August 4, 1961 birthdate. We know that the birthdate was the same because that information was required to do a search.

Before I go on. For those of you who are not aware, Barry Soetoro is Barack Obama. The Soetoro name was taken from his adopted father while the young Barack was in Indonesia. And now that I’ve cleared that up… There are those in the blogging community who were not willing to accept the fact that the registration was removed a few days after being discovered. They wanted answers and rightfully so. Sonoran News, who originally broke the story, sent a Freedom of Information Act request to attempt to get those answers. Linda Bentley reports:

Unbelievable: Military teaches colonists were 'extremists': Training documents say discussing liberty also a dangerous sign

 Colonists2

The die is cast.  There is only one way out of this, as our institutions have been thoroughly infiltrated by Marxists.

The colonists who came to the New World and built the foundations of what now is the United States were “extremists,” and discussions that include mention of “individual liberties” are a dangerous sign, according to the U.S. government.

The education materials that originate with the Department of Defense depict conservative organizations as “hate groups” and cite the Southern Poverty Law Center, which was named in a federal court case for having identified the Family Research Council as a “hate group” simply for adhering to a biblical perspective on homosexuality.

That identification, by his own account, led Floyd Lee Corkins II to arm himself and enter the FRC offices in Washington with the intention of killing as many people as he could.

The documents were obtained by Judicial Watch, the government corruption monitor.

JW said it obtained the records under a Freedom of Information Act request that was launched months ago. The request asked for records “concerning, regarding, or related to the preparation and presentation of training materials on hate groups or hate crimes distributed or used by the Air Force.”
The 133 pages make up a January “Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute” “student guide” called “extremism.”

For example, it warns: “Nowadays, instead of dressing in sheets or publically (sic) espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.”

And it adds: “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

The 9/11 attacks by Muslims who killed nearly 3,000 people are called a “historical event.”

Justice sues Texas over voter ID law

he Justice Department said Thursday that it will sue Texas over its voter ID law and, separately, look for ways to intervene in a lawsuit over the state’s redistricting policies -- in the latest volley in the ongoing dispute between the feds and the Lone Star State.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, in a brief written statement, blasted the move and said Texas would continue to defend "the integrity of our elections."

"The filing of endless litigation in an effort to obstruct the will of the people of Texas is what we have come to expect from Attorney General Eric Holder and President Obama," Perry said.

 John Jenkins

Investigators have released a the 911 recordings from the shooting spree in Craven County Tuesday afternoon.

According to District Attorney Scott Thomas, 38-year-old Angelo Tavares Williams and 41-year-old Brian Lee Holden were trimming trees at 2115 Streets Ferry Road near Vanceboro Tuesday afternoon. That was when the alleged gunman, 82-year-old John Aites Jenkins (above), of River Road in Vanceboro, approached in a pickup truck, investigators said.

Jenkins then pulled out a shotgun and fired at the two men at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, said authorities. Williams was hit in his face and Holden was hit in his mid-torso. Jenkins also allegedly shot Holden with a revolver.

Afterwards, Jenkins drove to another location on Streets Ferry Road, where two bucket trucks were located, and fired shots at the workers in the buckets, authorities said. Those workers were not hit.

Private Property Is the Essence of Liberty

 Paul, Ron
Editor’s Note:

Ron Paul, Distinguished Counselor to the Mises Institute, and a founding member, celebrated his 78th birthday this week. In this selection from a speech in the House of Representatives in 1999, Ron Paul outlines why private property and privacy are essential to the preservation of civil liberties. It is perhaps noteworthy that this speech was delivered before the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and before the Patriot Act, FATCA, “Know Your Customer,” warrantless wiretapping, and similar regulatory and legislative developments since 2001.

This selection is taken from chapter 10 of A Foreign Policy of Freedom by Ron Paul, available in both print and ebook editions at the Mises Store.

Privacy is the essence of liberty. Without it, individual rights cannot exist. Privacy and property are interlocked. If both were protected, little would need to be said about other civil liberties. If one’s home, church or business is one’s castle, and the privacy of one’s person, papers and effects are rigidly protected, all rights desired in a free society will be guaranteed. Diligently protecting the right to privacy and property guarantees religious, journalistic and political experience, as well as a free market economy and sound money. Once a careless attitude emerges with respect to privacy, all other rights are jeopardized.

Today we find a systematic and pervasive attack on the privacy of American citizens, which undermines the principle of private property ownership. Understanding why the attack on privacy is rapidly expanding and recognizing a need to reverse this trend are necessary if our Republic is to survive.

Impeachable Offenses

How Oberlin Manufactured the Hate-Crime Hoax of the Year

Busted. Stone-cold busted. Just as I suspected, "progressive" pranksters at Oberlin College have been definitively unmasked as the perpetrators of phony campus "hate crimes" that scored international headlines in March. The blabbermouth academic administrators who helped fuel the hysteria are now running for cover.

The Associated Press, The New York Times, MSNBC, Yahoo News and the Huffington Post were among the media outlets that trumpeted the story of supposed racism, homophobia and anti-Semitism run amok at my alma mater. Throughout the winter, anti-black and anti-gay graffiti, swastikas, and a shadowy figure in a "KKK hood" surfaced on the tiny campus outside Cleveland, Ohio. Black Entertainment Television News decried the hate outbreaks and "KKK sighting."

Because of my firsthand knowledge of Oberlin's long history of self-manufactured hate-crime incidents, the fake-hate-crime alarm bells went off immediately for me when I read the reports. Back in the 1990s, race-obsessed nutballs at Oberlin College cooked up a horrid hate-crime hoax. Asian-American students claimed that a phantom racist had spray-painted anti-Asian racial epithets on a campus landmark rock. It turned out that it was a warped Asian-American student who perpetrated the dirty deed.

Zimmerman is even more of a target now. He should probably have protection 24 7. Check it out:
George Zimmerman is reportedly still interested in gun shopping. Zimmerman was spotted at Kel-Tec, a gun manufacturing company in Cocoa, Fla., Thursday, according to TMZ. Sources told the Hollywood tabloid that Zimmerman was asking questions about the Kel-Tec KSG, a tactical shotgun often used for home defense that holds 12 rounds of 12 gauge shells.

California Students Forced to Kneel Before Principal

Claiming it was a "safety policy," California elementary public school principal Dana Carter instituted a policy that required his students to "kneel down on one knee and wait for the principal or another administrator to dismiss them." One parent claimed that her daughter was forced to kneel before the principal "like a king" with her hands at her side until Carter came out, lifted his arms, and told students to go to class.

Police: Man doused with gasoline, set on fire in vacant lot

Via  Michael & NC Renegade

Prior arrests meant Memphis police already had mug shots on file for 26-year-old Robert Glasper and 19-year-old Renard King.

A Memphis man remains in the hospital at the burn unit after police say he was set on fire.

Authorities identified two suspects wanted for the crime.

Police say the man suffered injuries to most of his body.

Prior arrests meant Memphis police already had mug shots on file for 26-year-old Robert Glasper and 19-year-old Renard King. Police identified the two Thursday for allegedly being responsible for a horrific crime two weeks ago.

It happened in the 700 block of Glankler Street. A man was doused with gasoline and set on fire in a vacant lot behind an abandoned house.

Neighbor Robert Pearson could not recall the victim's name but remembers his screams.

"He was in the weeds. And I just came home from getting groceries. He was over there hollering, his skin peeling off," said Pearson.

Pearson had no clue who committed the crime, but said the devil himself would not deserve such treatment.

Ever-Present Terror: School Has Bus Hijacking Drill, Doesn’t Tell Students

A SWAT training exercise that took place in Rossford, Ohio, last week appears to be just the latest example of the state working to familiarize American citizens with terror and heavy-handed police-state response.

Students on a bus en route to a local school were terrified when a man stood up and proceeded to hijack the vehicle. The hijacker, carrying what appeared to be a functional firearm, tied up some of the students and told them to keep their heads down.

The bus was rerouted to a local emergency management facility where it was stormed by first responders and SWAT teams.

Fundraiser to be held tomorrow for oath-keeping Florida sheriff

A coalition of citizens and liberty-minded peace officers will gather tomorrow in Panama City, Fla., to raise money in support of Liberty County Sheriff Nick Finch, removed from office by Gov. Rick Scott, and now under investigation by the state for alleged destruction of documents in a case where he dismissed charges against a man arrested with a gun in a traffic stop.

“The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association is proud to announce that we are wholeheartedly supporting and endorsing … Sheriff Nick Finch for his courageous stand for liberty and the right of the people to keep and bear arms as guaranteed in the U.S. and Florida

Constitutions,” retired sheriff, author, lecturer and CSPOA founder and president Richard Mack announced on the group’s website. “Sheriff Finch’s actions to nullify the arrest of a citizen in his county stand as a shining example of a constitutional Sheriff doing his duty and keeping his oath to protect, preserve, and defend the God-given rights we as all Americans are supposed to enjoy.”

Disney brings lesbian moms to TV: 'Gay' spouses flaunted to young fans of hit show

In a move that’s being described as chasing “the whims of political correctness,” the Disney Channel reportedly will feature a “married” lesbian couple on a popular kids sitcom in the coming season.

“It’s a disappointment to millions of Americans that Disney would choose to become a groundbreaker in immorality,” commented Mediaguide, the organization headed by Christian media critic Ted Baehr. “New concepts of morality have had a very negative impact on marriage, families, and children.”

Mediaguide said that instead of “becoming a leader in political correctness, we encourage Disney to hold on to their title as the leader in good, fun and wholesome.”

TV Guide reports the lesbian characters will appear on an episode of “Good Luck Charlie.”

"Every Hindu in Pakistan is bearing atrocities, girls are kidnapped and forcibly converted but now, Hindu boys are being made to embrace Islam"

Via WiscoDave

 http://www.muslimwomennews.com/images/homepage/news/PAKISTAN%20minority.jpg

"There is no compulsion in religion," says the Qur'an (2:256), as Islamic apologists in the West endlessly remind us, but what exactly constitutes compulsion for many Islamic supremacists is not what Westerners assume. Even in the Qur'an itself, Muslims are directed to exact a tax (jizya) from the subjugated "People of the Book," i.e., primarily Jews and Christians, and make sure that they "feel themselves subdued," which has been taken in Islamic law as the impetus for a whole complex of humiliating and discriminatory regulations that deny them basic rights. They can free themselves from all this humiliation, discrimination and harassment simply by converting to Islam -- yet even this is not considered to be "compulsion in religion."

"'Hindu men being forced to embrace Islam in Pak,'" from the Times of India, August 14 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

ATTARI: The news of forcible conversion of Hindu girls in Pakistan by fundamental Muslims are often heard, but now a Pak Hindu couple has alleged that even Hindu men are forced to embrace Islam.

"Hindu boys are threatened of dire consequences, Hindu businessmen are not allowed to conduct their business or open shops and are pressurized to embrace Islam," said Pakistani couple Anil Kumar and Poonam, who "migrated" to India on Tuesday leaving behind their business and family members on the mercy of fundamentalists. Carrying handful of their luggage, the couple started crying as they crossed the Radcliff Line on foot and reached India.

After 67 weeks as No. 1, Christian documentary eclipsed by tribute to Muhammad

“The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment,” a documentary of the phenomenal teaching of messianic rabbi Jonathan Cahn about America following ancient Israel in the footsteps of judgment, has been eclipsed after 67 weeks as the No. 1 faith movie or TV show in the country – by a documentary that hails “The Life of Muhammad.”

Joseph Farah, the producer of “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment,” said he knew the movie couldn’t possibly occupy the No. 1 spot on Amazon.com forever, but he’s shocked that a “pseudo-documentary about the life of Muhammad could be become the most purchased faith movie in America just 12 years after 9/11.”

“It’s revolting,” Farah said, “not that Isaiah was knocked out of the top spot after 67 weeks, but that it could be replaced by a movie that so distorts the twisted, murderous life of a megalomaniacal hate monger, oppressor of women and genocidal fiend whose teachings inspired the worst attack on American soil in the country’s history.”
