18,000-Year-Old Puppy Found Frozen In Ice Could Be ‘Oldest Confirmed Dog’ Ever

18,000-Year-Old Puppy Found Frozen In Ice 'Oldest Confirmed Dog' Ever

Researchers in Sweden have shared incredible photos of the ancient canine after finding it in the Siberian permafrost in summer last year.

After studying it, they aren’t sure whether the ‘amazingly well-preserved’ creature (with a full set of teeth) is a dog or wolf – possibly because it comes from the point where dogs were domesticated.

The Attempted Rescues of the Famous Outer Banks “Ghost Ship,” the Carroll A. Deering

Via Cousin Colby

One of maritime history’s most enduring mysteries involves the iconic names of Cape Hatteras, Diamond Shoals, Graveyard of the Atlantic, and the term “Ghost.” There has been much discussion about the possible explanations; there has been little about the actual Coast Guard rescue attempts.

Much has been written and told about the famed ghost ship of Cape Hatteras, the Carroll A. Deering – half a dozen books, a few documentaries and hundreds of articles in magazines and newspapers.

They all follow the same script: the surprising discovery which is followed by the inexplicable scene of what they found. Then, the theories follow. This is not a repeat of that. Rather, it is a closer examination of the actual attempts of rescue by the U.S. Coast Guard between January 31 and February 4 of 1921.

Alarmists Propose Rebranding ‘Climate Change’ for Greater Shock Value

Climate change alarmists are pushing for a change in vocabulary to scare people into taking global warming more seriously, starting with terms like “global meltdown” and “climate collapse.”

Writing for AdAge this week, Aaron Hall argues that in order to get people to “take action” against climate change, “rebranding” is crucial, since people have gotten too used to the idea that climate is changing and need to be shocked into the notion that the world as we know it is ending.

Mexico’s President Urges US House of Representatives to Pass Trade Deal

Guaranteed liberals will accuse Trump of having another country interfere.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador sent a letter this week to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), urging House Democrats to bring the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade deal to a vote.
The deal, known as USMCA, was agreed upon last year. While Mexico’s Senate has ratified the deal, Pelosi has resisted bringing it to a vote in the Democrat-controlled House, arguing worker protections aren’t strong enough and that negotiations are ongoing.
