Top UNC leaders condemn Confederate statue toppling

Image result for UNC CHANCELLOR AND BOARD WANTED POLICE TO STAND DOWN

North Carolina university officials and a former governor condemned the toppling of a century-old Confederate memorial on the state’s flagship campus by protesters who said its presence on campus was rooted in racism.

The University of North Carolina system’s president and the chairman of the Board of Governors on Tuesday promised a full criminal investigation of the protest that brought down the statue known as “Silent Sam.” The bronze figure of an anonymous rebel soldier was pulled down from its tall stone pedestal Monday night by protesters using ropes and banners to mask their action.

MEN OF THE NC DIVISION

WE HAVE MUCH TO DO AND NO TIME TO WASTE!

LAST YEAR WE STARTED THE MONUMENT GUARDIAN FACEBOOK PAGE AND MANY HAVE SIGNED UP AND REGULARLY HAVE BEEN WATCHING AND NETWORKING WITH OTHERS IN AND OUT OF THE SCV TO KEEP AN EYE ON ALL OUR MEMORIALS. NOW IT THE TIME TO REDOUBLE OUR EFFORTS ON THIS FRONT. IF YOU ARE NOT ON FACEBOOK FIND SOMEONE WHO IS AND HAVE THEM RELAY THE INFO TO YOU. EACH CAMP SHOULD ALREADY HAVE A FIRM GRASP ON THE SAFETY OF LOCAL MEMORIALS AND HAVE SOMEONE DETAILED TO COMMUNICATING THIS ON THAT PAGE.

THIS QUICKLY ON THE HEELS OF THE NATIONAL SCV LEO APPRECIATION EVENT YOUR CAMP SHOULD ALREADY HAVE A GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, OR AT LEAST A PASSING KNOWLEDGE OF THE MEMBERS, SO I URGE EACH CAMP TO REACH OUT AND TALK SPECIFICALLY REGARDING SECURITY ISSUES RELATING TO MEMORIALS IN YOUR AREA. ONCE DONE SUBMIT THIS TO YOUR BRIGADE COMMANDER SO HE CAN CONSOLIDATE AND REPORT TO DIVISION HQ.

THIS IS ALSO ANOTHER REASON TO BE ACTIVELY ENGAGED WITH LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS AS THEY ARE THE PUPPET MASTERS BEHIND THE STAND DOWN ORDERS TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENTS AND DISTRICT ATTORNEYS AND JUDGES SO NOW MORE THAN EVER THEY NEED TO HEAR OUR DISGUST FOR THE SPINELESS ACTIONS OF THE CHAPEL HILL CAMPUS POLICE AS WELL AS THE CITY OF CHAPEL HILL.

I WAS CALLED PERSONALLY  BY AN OFFICER FROM CHAPEL HILL THAT WAS ONE OF THE 45 OFFICERS DETAILED TO THE INCIDENT LAST NIGHT AND THEY WERE TOLD IN THEIR BRIEFING THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE DEFENDING THE MONUMENT. HE SAID THEY HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH MEN TO HANDLE THE SITUATION BUT THAT THIS WAS ALLOWED BY THE UNIVERSITY AS IT WAS WHAT THE CHANCELLOR AND BOARD WANTED.  HE IS A 27 YEAR VETERAN OFFICER FROM PA WITH NO DOG IN THE FIGHT PHILOSOPHICALLY BUT HE SAID AFTER LAST NIGHT HE NO LONGER WANTS TO BE A COP... HE WANTED ME TO KNOW THAT WHILE HE WAS NOT A SON OF THE SOUTH HE VIEWED THE ACTIONS AS UNAMERICAN AND WAS SICKENED BY THE ORDERS TO STAND DOWN. HE ALSO SAID THAT HE HAS A YEAR BEFORE HE CAN RETIRE AND HAD TO FOLLOW ORDERS AS MANY OTHER OFFICERS DID LAST NIGHT SO WHILE WE RUMBLE AND GRUMBLE ABOUT THIS WHICH IS NEAR AND DEAR TO US THINK ABOUT THOSE OFFICERS AMBIVALENT OR EVEN AGAINST US...

I JUST HOPE WE CAN ENLIGHTEN MORE PEOPLE TO SEE THE WICKEDNESS FOR WHAT IT IS AND THAT WE MAY BE ABLE TO STOP ANTIFA AND THE CULTURAL MARXISTS NOW THAT THEY HAVE PULLED DOWN THE EASY FRUIT OF DURHAM AND CHAPEL HILL.

NOW IS A TIME TO PULL TOGETHER AND DIG IN...NOT FIGHT EACH OTHER AND BEMOAN OUR LOT IN LIFE...

GET OUT AND DO THE THINGS ABOVE... GET ON THE PHONE AND CALL THE PUBLIC OFFICIALS IN CHAPEL HILL CHIEF OF STAFF SULLIVAN POSTED EARLIER FROM THE FLAGGERS EMAIL...GET ON THE KEYBOARD AND RAISE CAIN WITH THE ONES AGAINST US AND GIVE THANKS THE ONES FOR US... GET OUT THE MONEY AND SEND IT TO THE HERITAGE DEFENSE FUND OR THE MEMORIAL FUND... GET A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND SIGNED UP AS WE NEED MORE MEN NOT LESS... GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE AND OUT ON THE FRONT LINES... THE MAIN THING IS TO GET TO DOING SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE AND IN LINE WITH THE OPERATIONAL NEEDS OF THE DIVISION.

MORE TO FOLLOW

SEE YOU ON THE FRONT LINES...

Just heard Dan Forrest on the radio. He was the only one from our NC legislature to make a statement on the subject of Silent Sam. He agrees that they must pay and it must be put back up.

He stated that the suspects were on camera and will be apprehended. Thank you Lieutenant Governor Dan Forrest for doing your job!

A Society With Slaves

A review Slave and Free on Virginia’s Eastern Shore by Kirk Mariner (Onancok, VA: Miona Publications, 2014).

One of the ironies that plague the proponents of the “South is about slavery and slavery is about the South” school of history is the lack of knowledge we possess regarding the everyday lives and social interactions of the majority of black Southerners, slave and free, who lived south of the Mason and Dixon.  We are thus left with some illusions regarding slavery rather than the reality of the thing itself as lived by white, black and red, free and slave. The popular imagination tends to associate slavery with vast cotton plantations worked by hundreds of slaves.  The experience of most slaves, however, was on small plantations and farms where five to eight slaves resided and worked side by side with their white masters.  Historians have relied upon the records in state archives and university libraries which are weighted toward larger plantations, legislation regarding slavery, and state court cases.

This “top down approach,” as Mr. Mariner terms it, does reveal a great deal about certain aspects of slavery and slave society, but it also distorts.  One example of this distortion occurs in Kenneth Stampp’s “classic” work on slavery, The Peculiar Institution.  Stampp relied heavily upon the manuscript collections in Southern archives, the vast majority of which originated from large plantations.  This excluded about fifty percent of those slaves who lived on smaller plantations and farms, as well as the ten percent of those slaves who lived in urban areas, and perhaps another five to ten percent of slaves whose labor was rented out.  Gene Genovese’s, Roll, Jordan Roll offered a much needed correction to Stampp’s plantation as concentration camp thesis.  Genovese found a more complex interaction between slave and master, but Genovese’s work also suffered from the same difficulty regarding the narrow range of sources.

Former Gov. Pat McCrory compares Silent Sam vandals to Nazi book-burners

mccroryfolo.JPG

Former Gov. Pat McCrory Tuesday blasted what he called “mob rule” at UNC-Chapel Hill Monday night and compared the students who tore down a Confederate memorial with Nazis.

“Are they any different than Nazis of the 1930s, 1920s in Germany tearing down statues, burning books?” McCrory asked.

McCrory made the comments on his regular morning show on WBT radio.

The statue of “Silent Sam” was a Confederate memorial that had stood on campus for 105 years. It had been particularly controversial in recent months. Monday’s crowd initially gathered in support of a UNC graduate student who faces criminal charges for throwing red ink and blood on the statue in April. Protesters finally pulled the statue down.

Letting the South Go in Peace

John Quincy Adams of Massachusetts, President from 1824 to 1829 and later speaking of the proposed annexation of Texas in the late 1840s, stated: “We hesitate not to say that annexation of Texas, effected by any act or proceeding of the Federal Government, or any of its departments, would be identical with dissolution. It would be a violation of our national compact . . . not only to result in a dissolution of the Union, but fully to justify it . . .” Secession from the Union was an original New England idea, and flouted whenever it determined its influence in the Union was being diminished. It was an idea later adopted by the South, but by then New England had control of the federal apparatus and would not allow its national power to be diminished. Coercion followed.

Letting the South Go in Peace

“In regard to this question of the right of the States to withdraw, and the power of coercion, is it not appropriate to call attention to the following views expressed by Mr. Horace Greeley, one of the ablest writers and firmest supporters of the Republican, or, abolition party. In an article published in the New York Tribune a few day[s] after the election of Lincoln in 1860, and reproduced in his work styled “The American Conflict,” he says:

“That was a base and [hypocritical] row that was once raised at Southern dictation about the ears of John Quincy Adams, because he presented for the dissolution of the Union. The petitioner had a right to make the request; it was the member’s duty to present it.

And now when the Cotton States consider the value of the Union debatable, we maintain their perfect right to discuss it. Nay! We hold we hold with Mr. Jefferson, to the inalienable right of communities to alter or abolish forms of government that have become injurious or oppressive, and if the Cotton States shall decide that they can do better out of the Union than in it, we insist upon letting them go in peace.

The right to secede is a revolutionary one, but it exists nevertheless, and we do not see how one party can have a right to do what another party has a right to prevent. We must ever resist the asserted right of any State to coercion in the Union, and to nullify and defy the laws thereof; to withdraw from the Union is quite another matter.

And whenever a considerable section of our Union shall deliberately resolve to go out, we shall resist all coercive measures to keep it in. We hope never to live in a republic whereof one section is pinned to another by bayonets.

But while we uphold the practical liberty, if not the abstract right of secession, we must insist that the step be taken, if ever it shall be, with the deliberation and gravity becoming so momentous an issue. Let ample time be given for reflection, let the subject be fully canvassed before the people, and let a popular vote be taken in every case before secession is decreed.

A judgment thus rendered, a demand for separation so backed, would either be acquiesced in without effusion of blood, or those who rushed upon carnage to defy or defeat it, would place themselves clearly in the wrong.”

It would be hard to conceive language more forcible for defining the right of the States to withdraw and the wrong and criminality of the attempt to coerce them when they had exercised that right, than this of Mr. Greeley’s.”

Manafort guilty verdicts raise chances of pardon by Trump

 Image result for Jonathan Turley,
In such a scenario, Paul Manafort ultimately would emerge as the only true winner — not because of his innocence but because of his associations. If that windfall scenario plays out for Manafort, the man he may want to thank is not Donald Trump but Robert Mueller.

The prosecutors from the office of the special counsel left the courthouse in Alexandria, Va., on Tuesday with their first major conviction, given the eight guilty verdicts against Paul Manafort for bank and tax fraud out of the 18 counts he faced. For many observers, however, a reasonable question can be raised as to what all of this means.

This obviously is not the set of crimes that special counsel Robert Mueller was appointed to pursue. As noted by the openly skeptical trial judge in this case, Mueller clearly was pursuing President Trump and not these particular crimes. The question now is whether these convictions will further concentrate Manafort on flipping against Trump. If not, Mueller could be left looking like the guy who showed up at a bass fishing competition with a trophy deer head: It may be an impressive eight-count buck of a defendant, but still is not the game he was supposed to catch.

K98k: The Rifle That Did Not Lose the War

Via 4 Branch

“I’ll take any semi-automatic rifle any day of the week over a bolt action and twice on Sunday”.

That’s what my husband told me when I confessed my love to him of the Mauser M98 bolt action.  The discussion ensued, and we were not discussing hunting.   We were discussing war.  Our passion for rifles and history leads to much studying, research, and conversation.   Neither of us has served in war, but the conversation, thankfully, extends beyond the theoretics of our living room to those who have the first-hand experience to tell it how it is, or was.  Speaking with veterans is an opportunity neither of us will ever turn down.  Our veterans, after all, are our heroes.

It has been my honor to personally listen to tales of heroism and horror from World War II vets with experiences ranging from retrieving the bodies of their fallen comrades on Utah Beach to fighting in the Battle of the Bulge.  I have watched one of the Chosin Few wipe tears from his face as he divulged to me a small part of his experience in Korea.  My friend and firearms instructor, a Vietnam Marine, shared with me the day he almost died (and now celebrates annually).  Purple Heart recipients from our recent wars in the Middle East have revealed acts of horror impossible to comprehend without experiencing them firsthand.  And in addition to Americans heroes, I have also heard first-hand from those who served in the Axis militaries.

On 'Protests'

so first day of classes at the most liberal college in the state is tuesday (today).  monday night, 300 "students" hold rally at civil war monument on campus, then march up to middle of town and block all traffic for a while.  then march back to the monument.  in the mean time, someone has attached ropes to the monument so it can be pulled down.  two dozen cops in the mix.  they do nothing beyond arrest one kid for wearing a mask.  probably antifa.  (ironically, saw several white girls wearing black lives matter shirts). this was probably planned thru social media over the summer in order to pull together this many people the day before classes start.  local government had to know ahead of time this was being planned, yet did nothing.  local police, when asked by local tv reporter, deferred all questions/ comments to the campus pio.  the one guy that was prosecuted but released for tearing down the memorial in durham last year was there, and interviewed.  probably not just passing thru town on a summer's night.  destruction of private property is not a crime for commies that don't believe in private property.  and that goes all the way up to the governor, my buddy roy cooper.  much video and pictures clearly showing all protesters faces exists, yet we can already tell no charges will be pressed on anybody.  can probably find the names of the police officers on site at the time.  those guys will not face any consequences for not acting to stop this. another instance where the commies are pressing this civil war on fronts of their choosing with no push back or consequences.

the last time i had to track down a lot of people i suspected were related thru social media, we used maltego.  a free version is available at their site.

it takes a while to run but outputs some usable graphs to help find these people.  maybe i should give a presentation on this software at patcon15 and recruit some folks to run it in their spare time.  after i get someone to present "how to collect local intel"  for those files.  working on that.

someone will eventually have to play "one-shot paddy" and dish out some "cease and desist" orders to these people.   there is no negotiating table to bring them to.

remember seth rich and michael hastings?

Image result for I see war coming revolution

I haven’t commented much of late. I see war coming and this shows it coming soon. I have been working to get my house ready for what is approaching. The elites see their strangle hold on power slipping. The RINO party saw their cozy fraud with democrats in danger. And democrat elites see their party about to purge them, for a socialist revolution.

I hate to admit ignorance, but I never know people kept their government security when they left government. Talk about the Deep State. This is simply bribery at the highest levels. Regardless what excuse they use to allow them to keep their security. The truth is, it is worth millions of dollars in bribes err salary when they leave office. People are beginning to see the dirty shell game being played in Washington. The revolving doors of bribes, graft, and corruption.

The last 40-years of the education system not educating but indoctrinating our children. High Schools graduating illiterate children. Many not even able to read and write. Let alone add, subtract, or multiply. Zero knowledge of history, government, or civics. Hell, I bet less that ten percent of high school seniors ever heard the word civics, let alone know what it means. And it gets even worse in colleges. Yes, there are some remnants of programs left. But mostly the college programs now consist of “Studies” programs. Where students study why there is white privilege. Or study why your gender if fluid. Studies where there is no actual education done, just induction why culture and history must be destroyed. Colleges have degenerated into simply cash generating, diploma machines.

Technocrats now taking control of censorship and thought control. What is happening at Google, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube is simply a new version of McCarthyism. From these companies we see a NAZI censorship happening on a scale that would make Adolf Hitler, Joe Stalin, or Mao Zedong happy. These technocrats have become the Joseph Goebbels’ for the Democrats and Left. By outright censoring or “Shadow-Banning” all conservative thoughts and speech. We might as well dig up Adolf Hitler, Joe Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Joseph Goebbels. Make them CEOs of Google, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, there would be no difference.

The Globalists are driving a “No Boarders” policy around Western Civilization. Look at the news from Europe. Even in their precious Sweden. The people are beginning to wake up. Why? Because they do not recognize their own country. As the Muslim and African invaders increase Europe is crumbling. Other that the old communist block countries that have refused this “diversification.” Europe is not safe for anyone, murder, rape, robbery, and crimes of all nature are increasing. They want to destroy our culture.

Look at the calls for “diversity” and “multiculturalism.” They only apply to Europe and America. We see South Africa expelling Whites, where are the calls for diversity and multiculturalism there? Actually where are the calls there needs to be more whites in Africa for diversity and multiculturalism? Or pick any Asian country, where is the need for diversity and multiculturalism and more Whites there? NO, diversity and multiculturalism are simple code words for destroying Western Civilization. Every ethnic group in the world are taught to be Proud of their culture. Except One! Whites. We see our youth being taught to hate being White. Seriously, what the hell is that? Whites and the accomplishments of Western Civilization have so much of which to be proud. Let alone be proud of America and what we have accomplished. But if we try and claim that pride suddenly we are racist or white supremacists. That is just bullshit designed to stop any conversation. I’m White and damn proud of what Western Civilization has done.

The very core of our culture is being corroded by perversion. Our society is being forced to not just accept but kneel to perverts. Homosexuals having more rights than Christians. Freaks, men in dresses and our daughter and wives being forced to share bathrooms and showers with them. The mentally ill, so confused they cannot look in their pants and know if they are male or female. Pedophiles are being pushed into society as “normal.”

What once was “normal” Americans, we are now under attack from all sides. Globalists want to destroy and eliminate America and our culture. We have colleges teaching our children to hate themselves. Our supposed leaders are simply corrupt. And our thought and speech is being controlled by big tech gulags.

War is coming. I believe the “Great Blue Wave” of November will not happen. They are so deep in their own echo-chamber they have lost touch. I think it is possible they will not gain seats but actually lose some. When the left loses again politically they will totally lose it mentally. They are close now but losing in November will put them over the edge. I expect to see violence before the end of the year. But then again, I never expected Obama to leave the Presidency without force. But in the back of my mind I cannot help but think if Trump had been predicted any chance of winning the election…

Violent Left VIDEO: UNC Antifa Professor Assaults Big League Editor At Statue Tear-Down

Current University of North Carolina cultural anthropology professor Dwayne Dixon assaulted me, Patrick Howley, editor of Big League Politics, at the Monday night rally on campus grounds that led to the tearing down of the “Silent Sam” statue erected in 1913 to commemorate North Carolinians who died fighting for the Confederacy.

Dixon is a leader of the left-wing Redneck Revolt militia group and the undisputed leader of the rally at the University of North Carolina, which drew Antifa militants from around the region. Antifa insurgents tore down the statue and committed numerous assaults that were reported and also captured on tape.

I asked Dixon about his well-documented admissions that he chased driver James Fields with a rifle in Charlottesville right before Fields allegedly plowed into a crowd of protesters, killing Heather Heyer. His goons quickly surrounded me.

Dixon grabbed the phone out of my hand and repeatedly struck me.
