Understanding the Threat

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Somali-Born American Activist:
Ayaan Hirsi Ali. . . If the jihadists win and the hope for a reformed Islam dies, the rest of the world will pay a terrible price. The terror attacks in New York, London, Madrid, Paris and many other places are only a preview for what is to come

. . . . it’s foolish to insist, as Western leaders habitually do, that the violent acts committed in the name of Islam can somehow be divorced from the religion itself.  For more than a decade, my message has been simple: Islam is not a religion of peace.

. . . . the call to violence and the justification for it are explicitly stated in the sacred texts of Islam.  Moreover, this theologically sanctioned violence is there to be activated by any number of offenses, including but not limited to adultery, blasphemy, homosexuality and apostasy — that is to leave Islam. In America today, we are fighting against two separate insurgencies. Each has its own and very different world view, but they share one common goal – to destroy our constitutional republic that protects and secures the Natural Law Rights and sovereignty of the individual.

As human beings, we face many threats in life. For children, most threats are physical in nature.

Children are not born with the instincts and knowledge to know or understand the threat of danger in advance . . . what can be harmful or even lethal. Children, therefore, must rely on parents and other responsible adults to teach them what to fear and avoid. But then again, we are talking about physical threats – things that can cause injury, pain, disability, and even death.

As children age and grow, their consciousness expands to consider and learn the historical, factual, moral, and philosophical aspects of life. The concept of danger and threat is no longer just immediate but consists of everything, real or imagined, from the current moment to the infinite future . . . or at least it should.

George Bernard Shaw Was so Enamored with Socialism He Advocated Genocide to Advance It

In an excerpt from her recently published book Why Women Have Better Sex Under Socialism, Kristen Ghodsee freely quotes from the works of the playwright and Fabian Socialist George Bernard Shaw to bolster her argument that capitalism is inherently sexist. The free market forces women to be reliant upon men, wrote Shaw, turning sex into a virtual bribe for financial security. Based on Shaw’s analysis, Ghodsee concludes that capitalism makes slaves out of women who, under socialism, would supposedly be happy and free.
To say the least, citing Shaw is an odd choice if one is advocating for greater freedom and independence. An apologist for the world’s most brutal and oppressive dictators, Shaw had a passionate hatred for liberty, writing,

Newly-elected governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, has suspended Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel from his post due to his response to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting last year that killed 17 people.

"Sheriff Israel has repeatedly failed and has demonstrated a pattern of poor leadership," reads the governor's executive order, according to Sun Sentinel. "He failed to protect Floridians and visitors during the tragic Fort Lauderdale International Airport shooting in 2017. He failed in his duties to keep our families and children safe during the devastating shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018."

Pedophile Reportedly Confesses To Killing 6-Year-Old Beauty Queen JonBenét Ramsey in 1996

On Thursday, the Daily Mail reported that a man who has been a suspect in the murder of six-year-old beauty queen JonBenét Ramsey in 1996 reportedly admitted he killed her. The crime has been unsolved for 22 years.

DailyMailTV obtained letters written by Gary Oliva, who is now 54, to a former high school classmate, music publicist Michael Vail. Investigators have conjectured that Oliva joined other men in breaking into JonBenét Ramsey’s house. A ransom note demanding $118,000 for the girl was found on the kitchen staircase before her body was found. The tiny girl was found with a broken skull from a blow to the head and had been strangled; a garrote was tied around her neck. In 2003, trace DNA that was taken from the child’s clothes showed it came from an unknown male; prompting the DA to send the Ramseys a letter of apology in 2008, declaring the family "completely cleared."

Sen. Cornyn Reintroduces National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Legislation

National Concealed Carry Reciprocity is back on the table thanks to Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), who reintroduced legislation this week that would allow licensed concealed carriers to bear arms in all 50 states.

“This bill focuses on two of our country’s most fundamental constitutional protections– the Second Amendment’s right of citizens to keep and bear arms and the Tenth Amendment’s right of states to make laws best-suited for their residents,” said Sen. Cornyn of S.69, the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.

“I look forward to working with my colleagues to advance this important legislation for law-abiding gun owners nationwide,” he added.

When one grows old one tends to resent wasting time and there is nothing that wastes time quite so much as efforts to counter the claims and assertions surrounding the American “Civil War” Of course, the first of these is that the conflict was not a “civil war.” But those who insist upon that label continue to do so despite all demonstrable facts to the contrary. Alas, it is impossible to have reasoned debate when so few are prepared to be reasonable. Indeed, all arguments involving the causes for that war and the subsequent praise and blame devolving upon its participants inevitably lead to the same tiresome claims against the South even when inescapable and acknowledged facts disprove them.

The Cost of Southern Cultural Genocide

In 1787, Patrick Henry warned Virginia and the South about the danger of forming a union with the people of New England. Patrick Henry predicted that the North, being the numerical majority, would control the Federal Government and use the Federal Government to extract tribute (taxes in the form of tariffs) from the South.
The destruction of Confederate monuments and the slandering of all things Confederate is in vogue in contemporary mainline media, academia, and the political establishment. The destruction of Confederate monuments by radical mobs is similar to the radical Taliban’s destruction of Buddhist monuments and the Soviet Union’s denial of public expressions of native culture in the Baltic states—all are examples of cultural genocide.[1] Standard American history as written by the victors in the so-called “Civil War” supports and encourages Southern cultural genocide. As noted by Southern historian Grady McWhiney, “What passes as standard American history is really Yankee history written by New Englanders or their puppets to glorify Yankee heroes and ideals.”

Sierra history: The strange tale of stagecoach driver Charley Parkhurst ( A Woman! )

Via Cousin Colby

TRUCKEE, Calif. — Western stagecoach companies were big business in the latter half of the 19th century. In addition to passengers and freight, stages hauled gold and silver bullion as well as mining company payrolls.

Stage robbery was a constant danger and bandits employed many strategies to ambush a stagecoach. Thieves rarely met with much resistance from stage drivers, since they had passenger safety foremost in mind.

The gang was usually after the Wells Fargo money box with its valuable contents. Passengers were seldom hurt, but they were certainly relieved of their cash, watches and jewelry.

Navy Acknowledges Railroading of Marine Operator Falsely Accused of War Crimes

Via Billy

U.S. Marines

A Marine Special Forces officer has been promoted in retirement after the Navy acknowledged that he was falsely accused of war crimes for leading his men through a terrorist ambush.

The Board for Correction of Naval Records admitted that Marine Maj. Fred Galvin was railroaded when he led the Corps' first special operations unit (MARSOC) into Afghanistan. In March 2007 his unit was attacked by a suicide bomb followed by small arms fire from terrorists. Galvin and his men returned fire, killing 12 enemies, only to see senior military leaders and investigators accuse his men of massacring civilians.
