Feds go after biker gang members... by claiming the rights to their logos

Via comment by Anonymous on Listen To Police Radio Traffic From Waco II “Twin ...

**********************************************

Prosecutors are attempting to break up one of America’s most violent motorcycle gangs - Mongols Nation - by claiming rights to their logo

(Idiots. They'll have another logo ready to go in case the suit is successful.  Sometimes I wonder if the government's average IQ is even 80.)

Prosecutors are attempting to break up America’s most violent motorcycle gangs by claiming rights to their logos.

If the government is successful, it will become illegal for a member of the 600-strong notorious Mongols Nation gang to wear its trademarked patch – a black-and-white image of 12th century conqueror Genghis Khan riding a motorbike in a pair of sunglasses.

Police sources say that removing gang logos diminishes the gang’s power and identity.

A source told Fox News: ‘It not just stripping them of their identity, or robbing them of a recruiting tool, it's taking the star off their helmet. The logo itself furthers a criminal enterprise.’

China warns U.S. surveillance plane

Via III Percent Patriots

A depiction of where exactly China is building islands out of nothing, 600 miles off the coast of its mainland.

The Chinese navy issued warnings eight times as a U.S. surveillance plane on Wednesday swooped over islands that Beijing is using to extend its zone of influence.

The series of man-made islands and the massive Chinese military build-up on them have alarmed the Pentagon, which is carrying out the surveillance flights in order to make clear the U.S. does not recognize China's territorial claims. The militarized islands have also alarmed America's regional allies.

Former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell told CNN's Erin Burnett Wednesday night that the confrontation indicates there is "absolutely" a risk of the U.S. and China going to war sometime in the future.

waco 24 mugshots

The death toll from the “Twin Peaks” shootout was greater than the total number of homicides Waco police investigated in all of 2014 – And all of the “Twin Peaks” dead were shot by police.

Previously Waco Police Spokesman W. Patrick Swanton stated 22 members of law enforcement were present prior to the outbreak of the shooting.  Including 10 members of the Waco SWAT unit, 2 sergeants, 1 rookie, the Asst. Police Chief and 4 state troopers.

Newly released information today includes the Waco Police stating 14 Waco PD officers were involved in firing shots which killed 9 bike club members and wounded 18 more.
The 14 officers involved in the gun battle are all now on administrative leave, which is standard protocol in officer-involved shootings, Swanton said. (link)
In addition Sgt Swanton previously stated that all of the 170 arrested bikers were known “criminal gang members”.  However, a review by the Associated Press of court records finds at least 115 of the 170 had no police records:

Unearthed Info Reveals Possible Reasons Why Rep. Alcee Hastings Wanted a Pay Raise So Badly

Congressional Black Caucus Holds News Conference On Importance Of Diversity In Judicial Branch

Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) made headlines this week with his suggestion that members of Congress, who make at least $174,000 a year, need a raise because of D.C.’s high cost of living:
“Members deserve to be paid, staff deserves to be paid and the cost of living here is causing serious problems for people who are not wealthy to serve in this institution.”
With Americans’ per capita income at $28,155, working citizens had a difficult time identifying with Rep. Hastings’ plight.

Well, it turns out that Rep. Hastings has a few outstanding legal bills from when he was investigated on corruption charges, according to a report at the Washington Free Beacon.

The debts include:
  • Robert Catz, $500,000 – $1 million debt incurred from 1981 to 1985
  • Terrance Anderson, $1 million – $5 million debt incurred from 1981 to 1989
  • Patricia Williams, $500,000 – $1 million debt incurred from 1981 to 1989
  • Karr and McClain, $100,000 – $250,000 debt incurred from 1983 to 1989
  • Mark McDonald, $15,000 – $50,000 debt incurred from 1981 to 1983
  • Lewis Meyers, $15,000 – $50,000 debt incurred from 1981 to 1983
  • Bright Star (Mortgage), $100,000 – $250,000 debt incurred from 2009
All told, Rep. Hastings is more than $7.5 million in debt.

It looks like housing’s the least of his problems.

Witnesses told police this week that they pleaded with Boone county resident, Audrey Ranch, 62, to stop hurting her son’s pit bull, but she refused.

“Eventually she bit Pedro’s acorns clean off right there in the front yard,” a witness said. “Pedro hightailed it screeching like a wild Indian and when I tried to subdue Audrey, she knocked me out with an old tricycle.”

This October The World Will Change: “China Is Preparing For Something Big”

Via Cousin John

“China… across the board… is preparing for something big in currency markets.”

This October may see the beginning of the end for the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency. Twice every decade the International Monetary Fund meets to discuss their Special Drawing Rights (SDR) currency basket. Currently comprised of the dollar, Japanese Yen, British Pound and Euro, if China has their way a few months from now, we may well see the Chinese Yuan take its place among the world’s most trusted currencies.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew says, “China isn’t ready for currency reserve status,” and would certainly like to see the Chinese blocked from entry, preserving the dollar’s status as the world’s go-to currency and primary mechanism of exchange for global international trade.

But while Lew and his predecessors have presided over the largest growth in national debt in world history, the Chinese have been strategically positioning, much like the United States did in the early 1900’s, to not just become the world’s largest economy, but to be the super power of the 21st century.

You know - because THEY have no record of surface rights since a lot of those records were mysteriously lost in a magic fire-shredding accident. *Updates* Angry Much ? Marilyn Mosby Grand Jury Press Conference – Video

 Baltimore six 2

Against the backdrop of her initial ‘Direct Action’ charges coming under scrutiny from numerous legal analysts and scholars, a defiant State Attorney Marilyn Mosby took her demand for charges to a grand jury.

Notes: Officers Brian Rice, Edward Nero and Garrett Miller (bicycle patrol) no longer charged with “False Imprisonment”. This is obviously the result of the knife found on Freddie Gray being illegal, unlike Mosby’s initial claims. However, Mosby modified the GJ request and they are now charged with “reckless endangerment”. She also added “misconduct in office” charges to each of the accused.

Here is the result:

Oathkeeper's Facebook Page Hacked

This is to notify everyone that our Facebook page has been hacked, with the hacker having posted many extreme foul language posts. Oath Keepers, and our members, have no connection to these hacked posts, and we apologize to anyone who was offended by them, as we were. Hackers are vile creatures who love to create havoc wherever they can. Our website administrators will clear up the problem as soon as possible. We ask for your indulgence.

Clearly, what we are doing is ticking off our enemies. When you get attacked like this - when you get flack - that is how you know you are over the target. We won't let it slow us down. At the moment, I am at the Sugarpine Mine in Josephine County OR, where the miners have just attained a victory by securing a judge imposed stay, that forbids the BLM from entering the property for purposes of destruction of private property. A victory. No wonder we are being hacked. Clearly the domestic enemies of the Republic are not happy.

The operation, expected to take just under two months, is to recover wreckage in five groupings; forward and aft armor casements; engine remnants such as boilers, shafts and propellers; four cannons; and live ordnance.

UNBELIEVABLY BRUTAL VIDEO shows black thugs knock white dude unconscious and then BEAT HIM WHILE HE’S UNCONSCIOUS

Via Tim

 blackthugs_clevland

I know with ISIS you think you’ve seen it all. But you haven’t. This is probably the most brutal video of an attack I’ve ever seen. Even one of the police officers said he’d never seen anything like it in 30 years.

In short, the victim is called over to talk to Michael Nichols and after a few seconds Nichols knocks him unconscious. From there they proceed to brutally beat him while he lay motionless, even jumping on his chest, and strip him of his clothes and steal $20 and his cell phone, all while a crowd of people just watch. Only when the victim’s girlfriend rushes out of the apartment to render aid do the thugs leave, but not before pulling guns on everyone out there.

The raw video is below but first here’s a news report to walk you through what happened:

Yesterday Rand Paul “filibustered” the Patriot Act renewal. It is set to sunset soon. From what I understand, it wasn’t technically a filibuster, because no vote was imminent, but it was his attempt to throw off the calender and force debate. This filibuster, like his first one, rallied his troops and forced his opponents to address an issue they probably didn’t want to address. People were asking why Ted Cruz wasn’t there helping with the filibuster, so much so that it eventually made #whereisted trend. Cruz eventually showed up. He supposedly favors debate on the issue.

As I understand it, the Freedom Act was intended to modify the Patriot Act to address some civil liberty concerns, but people who initially supported it now believe it is too watered down. As I understand it, Cruz supports the Freedom Act and the Patriot Act.
Paul opposes the current iteration of the Freedom Act.

You will NOT believe the threat Obama just gave to the military

Via Joe

obama_coast guard

Ok, so you’ve gone through four tough years at an American Service Academy and you find out that the Commander-in-Chief is your commencement speaker. You sit there awaiting some inspiring address on leadership and how you as a young Second Lieutenant/Ensign will face the challenges as an American leader to protect our nation — to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Your parents, family, and friends are there to see your transition from Cadet or Midshipman into the legacy of leadership. You’re on pins and needles as the Commander-in-Chief steps to the microphone and your heart is racing as your battle-tested former military president utters the first words — and then you snap back to reality and realize it was all a dream.

You look up and see in actual fact it’s President Barack Obama and he tells you that climate change is the biggest threat to the nation — and folks, that is not a dream. It really did happen.

Militarization Is More Than Tanks and Rifles: It’s a Cultural Disease, Acclimating the Citizenry to Life in a Police State

“If we’re training cops as soldiers, giving them equipment like soldiers, dressing them up as soldiers, when are they going to pick up the mentality of soldiers? If you look at the police department, their creed is to protect and to serve. A soldier’s mission is to engage his enemy in close combat and kill him. Do we want police officers to have that mentality? Of course not.”— Arthur Rizer, former civilian police officer and member of the military
Talk about poor timing. Then again, perhaps it’s brilliant timing.

Only now—after the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security (DHS) and Defense have passed off billions of dollars worth of military equipment to local police forces, after police agencies have been trained in the fine art of war, after SWAT team raids have swelled in number to more than 80,000 a year, after it has become second nature for local police to look and act like soldiers, after communities have become acclimated to the presence of militarized police patrolling their streets, after Americans have been taught compliance at the end of a police gun or taser, after lower income neighborhoods have been transformed into war zones, after hundreds if not thousands of unarmed Americans have lost their lives at the hands of police who shoot first and ask questions later, after a whole generation of young Americans has learned to march in lockstep with the government’s dictates—only now does President Obama lift a hand to limit the number of military weapons being passed along to local police departments.

Not all, mind you, just some.

Talk about too little, too late.

A Sovereign North Carolina Defends Itself

 http://ncpedia.org/sites/default/files/Gov_J_Ellis.jpg
“I regard the levy of troops made by the administration for the purpose of subjugating the States of the South as in violation of the Constitution and a gross usurpation of power. I can be no party to this wicked violation of the laws of the country, and to this war upon the liberties of a free people. You can get no troops from North Carolina.”
-- N.C. Gov.Ellis

Governor John W. Ellis defined the aggressor and his intentions in a May 1, 1861 message to North Carolina’s General Assembly. He referred to the “Northern Government” and that “They have drawn the sword against us and are now seeking our blood. They have promised to partition our property and the earnings of our people among the mercenary soldiers after our subjugation shall be effected. All fraternity of feeling is lost between us and them. We can no longer live with them. There must be a separation at once and forever.” On May 20, 1861 North Carolina resumed its full sovereignty after the North opened hostilities against the States.

A Sovereign North Carolina Defends Itself

“After South Carolina and other commonwealths of the South voluntarily withdrew from the Founders’ Union, the question of holding a convention for the same purpose was submitted to the people of North Carolina in the spring of 1861.  But so conservative were they and so attached to the Union, that they separated themselves from their Southern brethren and refused to call the convention. The difference between the votes was, however, small---only about 250 in the poll of the entire State.

Such was the situation, when in April 1861, Fort Sumter was bombarded and President Lincoln called on North Carolina to furnish her quota of troops to coerce the seceding States. These events changed the aspect of affairs in North Carolina instantaneously. All differences ceased. Union men, who, like George E. Badger, did not hold to the right of secession, united now in the declaration that North Carolinians must [now] share in the fortunes of their Southern kindred. Then amid the excitement of that period came the rapid preparations for the inevitable conflict---the marshaling of troops, the formation of armies, the strenuous endeavors to equip and maintain our citizen soldiery and make defense of our unprotected coast. Never was there a finer display of patriotic ardor; never did peaceable ploughboys more quickly assume the character of veteran soldiers. It was if a common inspiration possessed the souls of all the people and animated them to die, if need be, in defense of their traditional liberties.

During the four years of strife that followed, the people of North Carolina bore themselves with an unparalleled heroism. With a voting population of 112,000, North Carolina sent to the army 125,000 soldiers. Strenuous efforts were made to provide food for the soldiers and the poor, and while salt works were erected along the sea coast, vast quantities of cards were imported for the women to use at home, and other supplies were brought through the blockade. [Life then] was accompanied, however, by straits and hardships, suffering and mourning, the separation from husbands and fathers from their families and the pall of death that fell upon every household. What awful experiences were crowded into four years of heroic and grand sacrifice---how trying the vicissitudes, how calamitous the dire result!”
