Federalist Editor Takes Mueller To The Woodshed: Your Whole Operation Was A Political Hit Job

Federalist Editor Takes Mueller To The Woodshed: Your Whole Operation Was A Political Hit Job

Watch out, folks! The Federalist’s Sean Davis is dragging the beaten hypothetical corpse of Robert Mueller through. He just took the man to the woodshed in his latest piece and rightfully so. The Russia investigation is over. Special Counsel Mueller is done. He’s done talking about it. He directed us to read the report that was compiled after two years of digging and to leave him alone. Oh, and Democrats, go ahead with impeachment wink* wink*.

A new trove of evidence in the Jussie Smollett case from Chicago police proves two things: a) Smollett looked pretty darn guilty and b) nobody in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office seemed interested in that fact.

Somewhere in that trove of evidence was a series of texts from Smollett to the Nigerian-born brothers who admitted staging the assault upon the “Empire” actor, arranging a meeting to talk “face to face” with them before the attack.

The texts also include requests to the Osundairo brothers for hookups to illegal drugs, including cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana.

Five Reasons You Should Buy That M1 Garand You’ve Been Eying

M1 Thumb :)

Iconic, legendary, battle-tested. Whatever word you use to describe the M1 Garand, there’s no denying the famous American service rifle makes an excellent—no, essential—addition to anyone’s firearms collection. So, if you don’t have that beautiful walnut and steel in your safe, let me be that little voice in your head, that angel on your shoulder, sweetly whispering, “Do it. You deserve this.”

Mexican Security Specialist to Joe Rogan: Eric Holder Should Be In Jail for Fast & Furious

Eric Holders should be in jail, says Ed Calderon, a security specialist and combatives instructor with over 10 years experience in public safety working the northern border area of Mexico.

Calderon, who appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast this week, was referencing Holder’s involvement in the ATF Operation known as Fast & Furious, a gunrunning scandal in which the U.S. government deliberately allowed firearms to fall directly into the hands of known cartel operatives under the pretext that the agency would eventually track down those weapons and bust high-level targets within the organization.

Estimates suggest that over 2,000 firearms were delivered to the Sinaloa Cartel, exclusively, considered by the U.S. Intelligence Community to be the largest drug trafficking organization in the world.

Homeowner Behind Bars After Killing Two Intruders, Because He Used Gun Not Registered To Him

Via Marc Marshall

A homeowner is facing charges of criminal possession of a firearm after he shot and killed two intruders after they broke into his home. The charges come because he had a handgun in his possession that belonged to his father, who is deceased.

In New York State, one cannot possess –or even touch– a handgun without a pistol permit issued by the state. If you have a New York State pistol permit, any pistols that you possess would need to be on your permit. If they’re not and you use one to defend yourself, you’re going to get charged.
It’s NY Governor Cuomo’s SAFE Act that’s partially to blame, allowing another otherwise law-abiding citizen to go down in flames for protecting his life.

Rescuing Old General Jubal Early: A good one of which I was not aware.

 Rebecca Yancey Williams (1895-1976)

Sung to the tune of "God of Our Fathers."

Halt to Virginia, blessed Mother State

Founded in faith, bright star of Western Fate.

Brought forth in Glory on an Island Fair,

Crown of Man's sacrifice, to toil and will to dare.

Hail to Virginia, strong, serene and true.

Beloved of her sons from sea to mountains blue,

Beloved of the States that sprang from her creation.

All hail Virginia, Mother of our Nation.

Hail to Virginia, steadfast in her faith.

Cherish the freedom purchased on her earth.

Honor the heroes asleep beneath her sod.

Raise high your praises to the throne of God.

Robert “Cap’n Bob” Yancey served as the Commonwealth’s attorney of Lynchburg for 33 years, after his election as mayor of that city in 1891. An 1875 graduate of VMI, he obtained his law degree at the University of Virginia. He died in 1931 in the same room of the home in which he had been born, and spent his entire life in.

Rescuing Old General Jubal Early

“Sometimes my father himself was surprised at the Olympian quality of his own ejaculations. Then he would often be seized with a spirit of humility, and say that the sheer beauty was not original with him; he had got it from old General Jubal Early.

One of my Father’s favorite stories about General Early was told occasionally to select male audiences, but I have heard it many times when I wasn’t supposed to be anywhere around. It always began” “Did I ever tell you about the time the house fell on old Jubal Early?”

General Early was a privileged character around Lynchburg in his old age, for he had saved the city from being captured by the Yankees; but that did not keep the city from condemning as unsafe an office building he owned on Main Street. The work of pulling down this building had already begun, but General Early was not finished getting all of his things out of his office, because the men whom he had engaged to move his furniture had been late arriving.

Being partly established in new quarters, the old General remembered some important papers he had left behind. He needed those papers at once and he went back to his old office to The room he had been sitting in had merely dropped, floor and all, to a lower level and a few timbers had formed an arch of protection over him. There he sat with his old campaign hat still on his head, white with plaster, he calmly waited to be dug out.

When the old man looked up and saw my father in charge, he called out: “Hey, Bob! Blast my hat to hell, I didn’t know you were up there boy! I can direct these fellows for you. Damn it, you go and get me a julep!”

My father hastened away and he soon brought back a small split basket in which there were several glasses of julep, packed solidly around with paper.”

For Those Who Want To Do Some Homework On The Lincoln Assassination

Image result for Web of Conspiracy

It occurs to me, in ending this series on the Lincoln assassination that there might be a handful of folks out there that want to do some of their own homework on this subject.

Getting accurate and truthful information from government sources is like looking for a needle in a haystack after you have burned the hay and stolen the needle.

So I am going to list here a few places you can start to look. Some of these I have mentioned throughout the articles but I am going to list them again. All the sources I am listing here you can find on Amazon.com  I know that because I looked them all up there before I wrote this.

Impeachment – the only path they have, and two resulting fears

If Trump is impeached and removed from office, and assuming the shooting doesn’t start immediately… the Dems will keep the House, probably take the Senate, and almost surely take the White House.  And then, the fundamental transformation of America truly begins.  And then the shooting will start.

This is not intended to be a terribly long post, so hopefully I’ll stick to that.  (Part of this is going to not link / support the heck out of it like I normally do – I’m typing off the cuff here.)
Anyone on “our side” understands that the Deep State is scared.  Scared big time.  There are credible hints that Barackus Rex was the moving force behind this attack on Trump.  There are other credible reports that he had weaponized the intelligence agencies far earlier than first surmised, and used those to effect in 2012 against Romney.
As many have noted, this makes Watergate look like a case of misdemeanor shoplifting.  Assuming the bread crumb trails have not been broomed but can be recreated and followed, heads will roll.  Heads must roll.  Or we will have to ask ourselves this:

Baby the Size of an Apple Survives and Thrives After 23-Week Delivery

A hospital in San Diego, California, has announced the birth of what is believed to be the smallest baby to not only survive but thrive. Saybie — the name given to her by the neonatal nurses who cared for her for five months before her release — was delivered to save her mother’s life and weighed in at 8.6 ounces.

The tiny infant’s size was compared to that of a large apple or a hamster and her survival described as miraculous.

Attacks on Nui Ba Den or The Nui Ba Den Massacres

Via mind jog by Hoài Niệm

This is an account of the attack by the North Vietnamese Army on the United States Army Radio Relay Unit stationed atop Nui Ba Den on Monday, May 13, 1968. During the attack 24 Americans were killed and 2 were taken prisoner.

All of the material presented has been taken from After Action Reports from both 125th Signal Battalion and Special Forces A-324, Daily Logs, Lessons Learned reports, articles found on the internet and personnel reports from soldiers who were stationed at Nui Ba Den, either before or during the attack.

I will apologize now for all the reports I have paraphrased.

I dedicate this account to my cousin, John Austin Anderson who died in the attack. John was a Tactical Wire Operations Specialist, (MOS...36K20). John was a Specialist Fourth Class with Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment (Manchus), 25th Infantry Division, United States Army. Two other Manchu soldiers also died in this attack. They were SP4 Moses James Cousin, B Company, 4/9 Infantry and SP4 Gary Joseph Gilin, A Company, 4/9 Infantry.

If anyone who knew John could please get in touch with me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

The Epoch Times: What is really going on?

Trevor Loudon: This is an orchestrated, communist assault on America, to destroy America’s borders, to create confusion in America, to overwhelm the system politically. Because America is [the communists’] main enemy, and if you can’t bring it down through nuclear weapons, you bring it down through illegal immigration, which is maybe just as effective in the long run.

You can see what 15, 16, 20, 25 million new Democratic voters is going to do to this country. You will lose Texas, you’ll lose Florida, you will lose Georgia, Arizona, North Carolina. There will never be, ever, another Republican or conservative president in our lifetimes. You will have a one-party state in America. And that is the plan. That is why they are doing this.

Gingrich On Mueller Report: Claims That Trump Had 'Malicious' Intent An 'Absurdity'

Via Billy

.....I have a larger historic view of the Mueller report. I believe that there was a serious effort at a coup d'etat by the deep state that included certainly the Attorney General, the head of the FBI, a series of lies told to federal judges, an extraordinary effort to cripple or destroy the nominee of a major party and at the same time a remarkable effort which, people still haven't dug into, to protect the Democratic nominee. People want to talk about obstruction of justice, and I say to them "great." Let's talk about 33,000 emails that are deleted, let's talk about cell phones that are beaten up with a hammer, let's talk about bleach bit for your computer hardware. If Trump had done that, would you think that was obstruction?

DOJ, Mueller’s Office Release Joint Statement Clarifying Mueller’s Comments

"Unlike the election interference investigation, which began as a counterintelligence investigation inside the FBI, the obstruction investigation began as a criminal investigation – and a criminal investigation that Mueller admits he never had the authority to conclude," Shapiro wrote. "Mueller stated regarding Russian interference, 'It was critical for us to obtain full and accurate information from every person we questioned. When a subject of an investigation obstructs that investigation or lies to investigators, it strikes at the core of their government’s effort to find the truth and hold wrongdoers accountable.' That would be true of Trump’s associates. That would not be true of Trump himself – Mueller recognizes that he never had the authority to indict a sitting president."

The Department of Justice and the Special Counsel's office released a joint statement late on Wednesday to clarify remarks made earlier in the day at a press conference by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

The Inescapable Anti-Americanism of the Left or A Class at UNC

It’s telling indeed that while everyone, irrespectively of political partisanship, can’t refer to “racism” enough, few people, if any, want to spend any time at all talking about “anti-Americanism.”

The remotely curious should want to know why the topic of anti-Americanism has seemed to have fallen into disrepute.

I have a theory: Democrats and the left would prefer not to discuss anti-Americanism because they know that they themselves are anti-American, and rabidly so.  Republicans and those in the Big Conservative media who serve as their apologists are averse to charging their opponents with anti-Americanism for one or both of two reasons: They want to avoid being counter-charged by the left with something like “McCarthyism” and/or such Republicans know that they themselves couldn’t beat this same allegation if it was hurled back at them.

OUR MONUMENT PROTECTION BILL IS DEAD: The Alamo Incuded

Via Billy

 Image result for the alamo

The historical revisionists and cultural Marxists will use the next two years to do as much damage as they possibly can for fear that monument protection will cross the finish line in the next session. The Alamo Cenotaph, statues to Sam Houston, schools named after Travis, Bowie, Crockett, Lamar and even Thomas Jefferson are now in greater danger than before.

Senate Bill 1663, the Monument Protection Act, is dead. We would erect a headstone but the progressives would likely tear it down.

The effort to enact legislation that would create a legal framework to permanently give the people a seat at the table in the disposition of all monuments, markers, and memorials came within hours of succeeding. It all came down to a meeting of the Calendars Committee in the Texas House and a decision over whether to put it on the schedule for a floor debate on Tuesday.

Although it passed a Senate committee, passed on the floor of the Senate, and passed out of a House committee, the Calendars Committee decided that it should not be debated on the floor of the House. This is the second time that the Calendars Committee has killed Monument Protection legislation. They previously killed the House version (HB 583) in a similar fashion.

The minutes for the meeting are not posted so we do not know how individual members voted. However, another bill that House Democrats opposed, Senate Bill 9, was in a similar position to SB 1663. To give you an idea of the mindset of the members of the Calendars Committee, Vice Chairman Joe Moody, being interviewed by the Dallas Morning News about SB9, had this to say:

One of Saigon's most compelling attractions has always been the people, and this collection of photos taken from the 1970s shows us just why Saigoneers are a fascinating breed.

A testament to western influences on the city at the time, they juxtapose more modest but still foreign-inspired clothing worn by men and children. Funeral for Our Old Friend

The grandfather of the author below had bought his original tract of land in Bedford from Thomas Jefferson, who owned thousands of acres in that county, and who had built his second home “Poplar Forest” there.

She recalls Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jake from her childhood, whom her mother referred to as “the Darby and Joan of the African race,” and that their devotion to one another was a poem. Both were “colored servants who had remained with her [grandmother] since slavery times . . .” Aunt Nancy “was entirely respectful to Mother and “Old Miss,” as she called Grandma, but she ruled us children and Uncle Jake with a rod of iron.”

Funeral for Our Old Friend

“Our beloved Uncle Jake died during the last summer I ever spent at Forest. He must have been nearly a hundred years old. We had never known him to be ill. But one morning he did not wake up; and when Aunt Nancy came and told us about it we could not believe that he was gone.

This was the first time I had seen my father so overwhelmed with grief that he was quiet and meek. He did not go to his office, and all day he roamed around the farm, silent and disconsolate. On the day of Uncle Jake’s funeral he was like a lost child.

We all went to the little wooden church which was near our place. We sat together at the back so as not to interfere with the seating of the colored congregation. We were dimly worried about Father – sorrowful at parting with our old friend.

The preacher at the little country church was a handsome mulatto who rejoiced in the high-sounding name of Jefferson Monroe. When he arose to begin the service and saw us grief-stricken in the back pew, he announced that his salary had not been paid for three months, and fixed my father with a piercing eye. He said he would not go on with the funeral until his back salary was paid.

I, for one, was shocked that Jefferson Monroe should take this occasion to mention such a thing as money. I looked for father to spring to his feet . . . and tell Jefferson Monroe to go to hell – that he would perform the funeral himself.

But Father did not utter a word of protest: With profound, and perfectly detached dignity, he went forward and laid in Jefferson Monroe’s hand the sum he had demanded.”

Environmentalism: Evidence Suggests it Was Always and Only About Achieving World Government

It is common sense to protect our environment, but what has occurred for 50 years is exploitation of that idea for a socialist agenda. We wasted 50 years believing that humans are not natural, and everything they do is destructive. We wasted and continue to waste trillions of dollars on unnecessary policies and useless technologies, all based on false assumptions, pseudoscience, and emotional bullying.

We now know 50 years later that every single prediction concerning the environmental demise of the Earth and the people made in the original Earth Day Report was wrong. We also know that every additional claim, such as overpopulation, global warming, sea level rise, desertification, deforestation, and sea ice collapse, among many others, were wrong. I challenge anyone to produce empirical evidence that proves anything happening today is outside any long-term record of natural activity.

The skies are growing dark and increasingly ominous for dirty officials at the top of Obama-era law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Leading the “I’m really worried” list are James Comey, John Brennan, James Clapper, Loretta Lynch, and their senior aides, all political appointees. They expected Hillary Clinton to win in 2016 and bury any traces of malfeasance, just as they had buried hers. It didn’t work out that way.

Now they need protection themselves. House Democrats and anonymous leakers are busy providing it. Many are delicately called “current and former senior officials” by the New York Times, Washington Post, and other legacy media. Gee, I wonder who they are?

How an Alabama prostitute and South's 'bitterest rebel' were linked to John Wilkes Booth

On Dec. 1, 1860, a handsome and charismatic actor took the stage in Montgomery, playing the title role in a Shakespearean play. John Wilkes Booth, billed as "Mr. J. Adam Goodheart wrote for The New York Times Opinionator: "Just 22 years old, trim and athletic, with tousled hair and lustrous eyes, he had an especially mesmerizing effect on the young ladies of Montgomery... here in the Deep South, he had finally won the long-sought stardom." Stories and accounts persist as to whether someone else is buried in John Wilkes Booth’s grave. I started this series out with commentary on that, and during all of this, I have seen nothing that still does not raise the question. The facial recognition technique I noted in the first article, which compared photos of John Wilkes Booth as a young man and David George of Enid, Oklahoma as an old man seems to point to the fact that there is only a one percent chance that George was not Booth.

Turning New England’s Mind to Thoughts of Peace

Image result for Sea of Gray: The Around-the-World Odyssey of the Confederate Raider Shenandoah,

The American Confederacy’s leadership exploited Northern war-weariness in 1864 by sending agents and money to Canada to open a northern front, increased its destruction of New England’s merchant fleet, and work toward Lincoln’s political defeat in November 1864.

Confederate commerce raiders effectively destroyed the North’s merchant shipping as it caught, burned or sunk hundreds of vessels, made future merchant voyages uninsurable, and forced the North to transfer goods to foreign ships for safety. The CSS Shenandoah of Captain James Waddell targeted New England’s whalers, capturing or sinking 38 vessels in one year.

It is noteworthy that Confederate overseas agent James Dunwoody Bulloch’s half-sister Martha was the mother of Theodore Roosevelt and grandmother of Eleanor Roosevelt.

Turning New England’s Mind to Thoughts of Peace

“Ironically, however, the very success of the Florida, the Alabama and other Confederate cruisers had added one more dilemma to those confronting Bulloch: toward what end would any new raiders be directed?

Earlier cruisers, after all, had succeeded beyond the Confederates’ wildest expectations. Writing to [Secretary of the Navy Stephen] Mallory the previous February [1864], Bulloch had reported, “There really seems nothing for our ships to do now upon the open sea.”

Even in the Pacific, passing mariners noticed a conspicuous absence of US ships. As one correspondent wrote, “The master of a French ship reported not one [Northern] ship at the Guano Islands off Peru, where in 1863, seventy or eighty had waited impatiently for their profitable cargoes.”

By early spring, however, Mallory had a new target in mind. That March, in a letter to Bulloch, he proposed redeploying existing commerce raiders and acquiring new ones for a concerted assault on New England’s globally-dispersed fishing and whaling fleet. The Alabama, the Florida, and other raiders had already made sporadic attacks on New England’s whaling vessels operating off the Azores and other Atlantic islands; likewise, there had been raids on fishing schooners off the New England coast.

What Mallory now envisioned was something on a grander scale. By driving up operating costs and insurance rates for New England’s fishing and whaling industries, he believed, the Confederate Navy would render the region a powerful lobby in Washington devoted to ending the war.

As he put it, “The simultaneous appearance of efficient cruisers on the New England coast and fishing banks, in the West Indies and South Atlantic, in the Pacific among the whalemen, and in the East Indies, would have a decided tendency to turn the trading mind of New England to thoughts of peace.”

Memorial Day On Memorial Day, when we honor the fallen of the many wars throughout our short history, it seems inconceivable that we should have to defend the freedoms for which they have given their lives.

It would be one thing to consider that the enemies of freedom are merely seeking a better way, a more just, more humane way of dispensing government and surely, there are many who are seduced by this proclamation, but it is untrue and deviously contrived to convince the unwitting. But, there are many more who are willingly engaged in this deception, who understand and endorse the collectivist agenda.

This is a fight begun in the shadows of the great European powers. It is a fight against the construct of master and servant, lord and peasant. The meaning of the United States is the idea of a nation organized, built, defended and administered by the people themselves offering each an opportunity to take whatever part they might choose.

The ideal, to those colonists seeking to build a nation, was to be freely engaged in commerce; to plant crops; to husband livestock; to build houses; to forge tools and equipment; to engage in trade and shipping. Administration of the local government: sitting in committee; organizing projects and selling bonds was a necessary duty to further enable the other endeavors. It was an obligation and resented as time taken away from those labors that supported the family, built the business and laid in supplies against winter and drought. Defense of the home, the state and the nation was a product of those same obligations. For decades the citizens carried all of these burdens through civilian dedication to the system of self-government. Somewhere along the line, there is no clear demarcation, we began to hire professionals to do the work of the citizen. We stopped trying to figure out how to operate larger bureaucracies, more complicated economies and national defense by a volunteer corps.

There was a lot of interest in a professional government and whether that was by design or circumstance means little, it has led us to this: a government intentionally subverted by its employees. In effect, people hired by the people to subvert the system that benefits the people. But, they have taken that one step further, to not only subvert the system, but to replace it with a soviet system. This, to the apparatchiks, is better for them to not have to care about the people, or what they vote for. Any vote can be written off as the ignorant and foolish making bad decisions, decisions the apparatchiks can nullify through procedure and interdepartmental rules. This works at the local DMV as well as it does at FBI Headquarters.

So, on this Memorial Day, when we honor those who have fallen defending the nation, the republic, the Constitution or just their homes, it must be reflected against the harsh reality that while some fought and died to preserve freedom, others in the same government, at the same time, cashed paychecks for working against it. We have allowed propaganda to set policy and lies to become culture.
