The Keystone Cops

Via Daily Timewaster

April 19th, 2013

Infuriating to say the least. 'Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord', as well as others.

I spent the day at King's Mountain with genuine Patriots, (and one in-training named Alex who was the best looking [and best behaved] of us all)

We shared a meal at a local BBQ place, and we enjoyed one another's company talking of things Liberty and of general topics.

And while we chose to spend this day together in reverence to the men of 1775 Lexington and Concord, the entire 2013 citizen population of Boston permitted their city to go into "Lockdown" - all transportation was shut down, an army of LEO, .mil and PMC Contractors roamed the city, dismissed every facet of the Constitution, and the Citizens hid in their homes from a 19 year old kid.  Even the sacred Miranda was dismissed.

The entire flippin' city.

More than 625,000 people live within the city proper.  More than 4.6 millions (the 10th largest metro in America) cowered in their homes, permitted warrantless searches, and in the aftermath, chanted "USA! USA!".

Not one single home that was illegally entered was defended by the occupant (We'd know if it happened, because the .Gov forces were in adrenaline-fueled Go mode and would have slaughtered any resistance "...for the safety of the officers...")

School Counselor: ‘Whites…Soon Will Be Wiped from the Earth’

Texas School Counselor Karon Wright Relieved of Duties Following Racist Post

According to her profile on the popular networking website Linked In, Karon Wright describes her professional aspirations this way:
Eager to bring students into the twenty-first century using a unique combination of education and counseling experience coupled with thirteen years of healthcare background in physical medicine and rehabilitative counseling.

Those publicly stated aspirations seem to be in direct conflict with a comment allegedly made by the school counselor — a comment that has gotten her in some very hot water.

Ms. Wright was a counselor at Andrew Jackson Middle School in Grand Prairie ISD. That was until the district announced that she has been “immediately relieved of all duties.” The action was reportedly taken after an offensive remark written from her Facebook page (now removed from the web) was posted on WFAA-TV’s Facebook page.  The statement in question referenced to the tragedy in West, Texas.

Police State USA: Video shows house-to-house raids not voluntary at all

Via WRSA

WATERTOWN, MA -- On Friday, April 19, 2013, during a manhunt for a bombing suspect, police and federal agents spent the day storming people's homes and performing illegal searches. While it was unclear initially if the home searches were voluntary, it is now crystal clear that they were absolutely NOT voluntary. Police were filmed ripping people from their homes at gunpoint, marching the residents out with their hands raised in submission, and then storming the homes to perform their illegal searches.

This was part of a larger operation that involved total lockdown of the suburban neighbor to Boston. Roads were barricaded and vehicle traffic was prohibited. A No-Fly Zone was declared over the town. People were "ordered" to stay indoors. Businesses were told not to open. National Guard soldiers helped with the lockdown, and were photographed checking IDs of pedestrians on the streets. All the while, police were performing these disgusting house-to-house searches.

Conservative Koch Brothers Turning Focus to Newspapers

Via Ryan

Three years ago, Charles and David Koch, the billionaire industrialists and supporters of libertarian causes, held a seminar of like-minded, wealthy political donors at the St. Regis Resort in Aspen, Colo. They laid out a three-pronged, 10-year strategy to shift the country toward a smaller government with less regulation and taxes.
The Los Angeles Times is the fourth-largest paper in the country.

The first two pieces of the strategy — educating grass-roots activists and influencing politics — were not surprising, given the money they have given to policy institutes and political action groups. But the third one was: media.

Other than financing a few fringe libertarian publications, the Kochs have mostly avoided media investments. Now, Koch Industries, the sprawling private company of which Charles G. Koch serves as chairman and chief executive, is exploring a bid to buy the Tribune Company’s eight regional newspapers, including The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Baltimore Sun, The Orlando Sentinel and The Hartford Courant.

Howard Phillips (no relation) has passed away. This is sad news. He was a good Christian, a good man and a good conservative. He will be missed. Phillips was a Nixon Administration official, but left the GOP due to its ever leftward drift. He founded the Constitution Party and was three times its candidate for President. May he Rest in Peace. The (real) conservative movement has lost a giant.

Church Defaced by Homosexuals Gets Little News Coverage

Via Cousin John

St. Jude Catholic Church of the City of Westlake Village was defaced on Easter weekend. The following brief story appeared in the April 11, 2013 issue of The Acorn, a community newspaper that serves Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Oak Park, and Westlake Village in California:

“Vandals targeted the 32000 block of Lindero Canyon Road sometime between Fri., March 29 and Sat., March 30, authorities said.

“The graffiti included a reference to homosexuality, several four-letter words and a swastika, a source told The Acorn. One scrawl reportedly said, ‘God is gay.’”

The story got no attention outside the small communities mentioned above.

I happened to see the story because I was in the Los Angeles area for a business meeting and happened to pick up the community newspaper.

If some homosexual group had been the target of anti-gay graffiti, the story would have been carried by every news outlet. Hate crime charges would have been leveled against the perpetrators.

Sensitivity training would have been demanded by homosexual groups across the country.

Shocking: Bill Maher Slams Islam and Defends Christianity

Bill Maher on HBO’s Real Time Friday made a statement that will make the Right cheer as the left predictably cringes.

After his guest Brian Levin – the director of the Center for the Study of Hate & Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino – said of the Boston bombings and how it relates to radical Islam, “We have hypocrites across faiths, Jewish, Christian who say they’re out for God and end up doing not so nice things,” Maher marvelously responded, “That’s liberal bulls–t right there”

Surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had time to tweet on the run

Twitter profile photo of Boston Marathon suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

After killing 3 and wounding 180, the surviving brother tweets, 'Ain’t no love in the heart of the city,” a line from rapper Jay-Z. He adds, chillingly, 'stay safe people.'

Between planting bombs and being on the lam, he somehow found time to tweet.
Boston bombing “Suspect 2,” identified by police as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, took to Twitter about a dozen times since Monday’s deadly twin blasts killed three people and injured more than 180 others.

At 12:43 a.m. Wednesday, the subject of a massive manhunt wrote: “I’m a stress free kind of guy.”
@J—tsar is the handle of 19-year-old Tsarnaev, the alleged bomber still at large. His brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed during a high-speed car chase in which the pair lobbed bombs at pursuing police.

Boston bombers: FBI hunting 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev

Via Cousin John

Covered boat: Fugitive was found in back yard

The FBI was last night hunting a 12-strong terrorist “sleeper cell” linked to the Boston marathon bomb brothers.

Police believe Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were specially trained to carry out the devastating attack.

More than 1,000 FBI operatives were last night working to track down the cell and arrested a man and two women 60 miles from Boston in the hours before Dzhokhar’s dramatic capture after a bloody shootout on Friday.

A source close to the investigation said: “We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google.

“They were too advanced. Someone gave the brothers the skills and it is now our job to find out just who they were. Agents think the sleeper cell has up to a dozen members and has been waiting several years for their day to come.”

A specialist team of CIA and FBI interrogators was yesterday flown to a Boston hospital to grill wounded Dzhokhar, 19, about the secret group. The University of Massachusetts student was caught on Friday after hiding out in a boat parked in a garden in locked down Watertown the day after a gun battle with police left his 26-year-old brother and a rookie cop dead.

Last month, the Senate Budget Committee reports that in fiscal year 2011, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support. What’s the problem with that much support? Well, the median household income in America is just over $50,000, which averages out to $137.13 a day.

I AM THE SENATOR. YOU ARE THE CITIZEN. YOU SHOULD BE QUIET.

Hopefully you will be but a citizen in 2014.

Rarely has a legislator expressed what he thinks of the public with such eloquence and and brevity as Republican Tommy Tucker, Chairman of the North Carolina Senate's State and Local Government Committee.

So honestly.

So powerfully.

Challenged by a reporter to record a voice vote on a bill that would allow city and county governments to post public notices, traditionally published in newspapers, in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying 'Beware of the Leopard solely on government websites, so that the Committee's members would have to own up to their votes, how did Tucker respond?

Gov. Christie to Expand New Jersey Gun Laws

He might win useful idiot of the year award.

Although New Jersey already has the second most stringent gun laws in the nation, Governor Chris Christie is expanding them to include guns rarely (if ever) used in crimes--guns like the Barrett .50 cal.

The Barrett .50 is hugely popular with upper-end gun aficionados. But with ammo for the weapon at almost $5 a round, its price makes it far less popular with run of the mill, average gun owners.
Nonetheless, Christie wants the gun banned and he wants to put controls on ammunition.

Americans Want More Guns!

 gunsafer

Contrary to what the angry and petulant Obama claimed after his gun-control measures were shot down in the Senate, most Americans believe having a gun in the home makes the home a safer place.

President Obama and Veep Biden have been asserting that 90% of US citizens want stricter gun control laws, however, an ABC Poll proves quite the opposite to be true. Since 2000, the public opinion has dramatically reversed itself. And if gun owners are questioned, the positive response is 75%.

Gun Stores Seeing A Run On Ammunition (Has it ever stopped?)

Ammunition sellers and manufacturers say there’s been a run on bullets and they can’t keep their shelves stocked.

Jeff Dillard who runs National Armory in Pompano says it’s the worst he’s ever seen.
“I have never seen ammo so impossible to get,” said Dillard.

He said demand for ammunition has been growing and spiked over the past couple of days.

“Because of the terrorist attacks and the gun control legislation people are getting in more of a panic situation,” Dillard said.

When he can get bullets,  Dillard says, they’re expensive.

Thoughts The Next Morning

I have a general policy that when something*****es me off enough to want to throw things at my TV I go have a drink and refuse to write on it until having slept first.

Sometimes I wake up with a different perspective.

And sometimes not.

This is one of the "nots."

Last night, unless you live in a cave, you know that the second bombing suspect was captured alive.  The first one died from a combination of bullets and being run over by his brother in a carjacked vehicle trying to escape.

Yeah, that really nice kid who we now have in custody ran over his brother.

But let's take a look at the facts, shall we?

Such as the fact that despite every news anchor and many of the people in Boston pumping their fists and screaming "USA!" along with lauding law enforcement, the fact is that law enforcement could not find its ass with both hands.

It doesn't stop there.  Oh no, by effectively occupying a part of the Boston metro area they made an utter mockery of the 4th Amendment.  There was no "hot pursuit" and thus no argument available to them allowing searches of private property without consent or a warrant.  Not only did they search without a warrant there were multiple reports through the day of seizure of firearms, among other things.

The Constitutional Rights of an entire town, some 30,000 residents, were wantonly and outrageously violated yesterday, yet not one media outlet is focusing there.

Nor are they focusing on the fact that after a full day of undeclared and illegal martial law, complete with "papers please", unconstitutional searches and seizures and military hardware and weapons all over the streets (heh Barack, what was that crap about "weapons of war"?) the cops FAILED to find the jackass.

Instead, within a half-hour of the "can't find our ass with both hands" cops giving up on locking down the town an ordinary citizen finds the bad guy in his boat.

In 30 minutes "We the people" do what thousands of cops spending millions of dollars and violating the rights of every citizen in the town could not and the people did it without all that fancy military hardware too.

So what do the cops do?  They shoot at and destroy the boat, of course, in "convincing" the bad guy to come out.  Boats you see, must not have extra holes in them or they don't float very well.  The cops added many extra holes and a few flash-bangs to the mix too, despite knowing that the vessel had a full tank of fuel on board and might catch on fire or explode.  It didn't, fortunately, but that's small consolation to the owner who is almost-certain to see both the city refuse to pay for the damage and his insurance company refuse to cover it too (look in your policy; in general such "acts of war, declare or undeclared" are considered non-covered perils.)  Never mind that the guy actually doing the warlike things (the terrorist) didn't cause the damage -- the cops did.

Was there anything the cops did right?  Well, yeah, I suppose.  Their fancy FLIR gear on the chopper, once pointed out where to look by the homeowner, did detect the heat of the jackass in the boat.  Ok.  Wow man, technology.  I'm supposed to be impressed by this after the specific location of the bad guy was pointed out by the homeowner who saw him in the boat and called the police?

Hackers Hijack CBS To Claim Obama Involvement in Boston Bombings 210413hack1

The mainstream media’s refusal to report on images showing private military operatives on the scene of the Boston bombings carrying heavy backpacks prompted hacking group the Syrian Electronic Army to take matters into their own hands by hijacking CBS 60 Minutes’ Twitter account and sending out tweets exposing unanswered questions behind this week’s attacks.

“The attack occurred while a “48 Hours” special about the Boston Marathon bombings was airing on the same network,” reports Boston.com.

The tweets sent out by the group mainly focused on the Obama administration’s support for Al-Qaeda militants in Syria, but also brought attention to an issue which has been subject to a corporate media blackout since it first emerged – the presence of numerous identically dressed men who were caught on camera immediately before and after the Boston bombings wearing black backpacks and behaving as if they were engaged in some kind of security exercise.
