Al White: The Story of a Marine Grunt in the First Battle of Khe Sanh April 1967 (One of the best)

He brings up racism many times at the beginning, which I never saw in the Army. I went in one year earlier (1966) and took basic at Fort Bragg, then AIT at Camp Lee, then assigned Permanent Party at Fort Knox in a training division, then to Vietnam after a short stay. I spent a total of 21 months in Vietnam, then got out with 31 months total as you would be let go if you came back with 5 months or less. (pre-planned). Then off to OICC Saigon as a Budget Analyst and later with  DAO (Defense Attaché Office) American Embassy until the end.

USA Editor Fired After Blaming ‘Angry White Man’ for Boulder Shooting - How sweet it is.:)

USA Today‘s Hemal Jhaveri said she was fired Friday, after publicly asserting the Boulder, Colorado, mass shooter would be an “angry white man.”

USA Today “Race and Inclusion” Editor Hemal Jhaveri responded to a tweet by Deadspin Editor Julie DiCaro regarding Monday’s deadly mass shooting in a Boulder, Colorado, supermarket. “Extremely tired of people’s lives depending on whether a white man with an AR-15 is having a good day or not,” DiCaro wrote.
