JSW Steel Announces New $500 Million Investment in Ohio: Thanks to Trump's Economic Plans

Via The Daily Timewaster

JSW Steel has announced an agreement to purchase Acero Junction facility in Mingo Junction, Ohio. Thanks specifically to the Trump administration economic plan, it is investing upwards of $500 million in the old Ohio steel plant that was built in 1929, instead of constructing a new facility in India.

The project is expected to generate an estimated 300 permanent jobs in a town of just 3,400 people.  “We are going to revitalize that facility and that entire community,” CEO John Hritz said:

What would Health and Child Services do to American parents that took their 3-year-old son or daughter on a walk across the Mojave Desert with no water or food. And hired a local drug dealer as their guide? What do you think would happen to the parents if they just handed their 5-year-old daughter to a stranger for a trip across country?
If any American parent did this their children would be taken away so fast your head would spin. And yet Democrats feel these actions are acceptable. Hell they do not even want to check if the children are theirs. And not just kidnapped kids moved as human cargo to be pedophile sex toys.

Democrats face trouble from population losses in high-tax blue states

Image result for judge jeanine Democrats face trouble from population losses in high-tax blue states

States with high taxes are at risk of losing people, business and money. In fact, conservative economists Arthur Laffer and Stephen Moore argue that up to 1.3 million people will leave California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Minnesota and New York over the next three years and move to states with lower taxes.

The sweeping overhaul of the federal tax code passed by the Republican-controlled Congress and signed into law by President Trump in December has left both residents and elected officials from high-tax states in a precarious position.

DOJ hands over documents to GOP committees after contempt threat

The Justice Department this week gave House Republicans some of the documents they are seeking related to the Russia election-meddling investigation -- after lawmakers threatened to hold officials in contempt for stonewalling over subpoena requests.

The Justice Department this week gave House Republicans some of the documents they seek related to the Russia election-meddling investigation and Hillary Clinton email probe -- after lawmakers threatened to hold officials in contempt for stonewalling.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said on "Fox News Sunday" that House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., had warned that “there’s going to be action on the floor of the House this week if FBI and DOJ do not comply with our subpoena request.”

WAR AND CONFLICT BOOK ERA: CIVIL WAR/LEADERS

I regularly get bulk e-mails from a website called Clash Daily, which is run by a fellow named Doug Giles. Their stuff is your typical Tea Partyish fare, but it tends toward a more in-your-face attitude. It also has a masculine vibe with frequent articles about guns, hunting, etc. Of course, it often contains the unfortunately typical advocacy of military internationalism that is associated with three-legs-of-the-stool “conservatism,” but I generally just write that off as par for the course.

I could not, however, simply write off this article, absurdly titled “General William Tecumseh Sherman: What’s Not to Love About Him?

Fixing Blame for African Slaves

Image result for (The Foundations of American Nationality, Evarts Boutell Greene,

By 1689, few African slaves had been introduced to Virginia and elsewhere by British, Dutch, French slavers, though this changed radically in the next seventy years – by 1760 the black race formed fully two-fifths of the entire Southern population. The increasing supply of Africans certainly fixed the plantation system on the South as part of the British colonial labor system.

Fixing Blame for African Slaves

“So far as the [colonial] Southern tidewater is concerned, the increase in population came largely through the involuntary immigration of African Negroes. During the seventeenth century . . . British merchants and their government were organizing as never before for the exploitation of the slave trade.

The prosperity of the Royal African Company stimulated competition, and before long “separate traders” from England and [New England] broke down the company’s monopoly. In 1713 the British slave-traders gained a great advantage over Dutch and French rivals by the Asiento agreement, giving them the privilege of supplying slaves to the Spanish colonial market.

There are no comprehensive statistics; but in 1734 it was estimated that about 70,000 slaves annually were exported from Africa to the New World.

The responsibility for slavery in the English colonies must be distributed widely. British merchants, the imperial government, which defeated efforts on the part of colonial assemblies to check the trade, [and] New England traders . . . each group must take its share.

Peter Fontaine, an Anglican clergyman of Huguenot stock, spoke of it as the “original sin and curse of the country,” but urged that when the colonists tried to restrict importation, their acts were commonly disapproved in England.

Besides, he argued, the Negroes had been first enslaved in Africa by men of their own color . . . Efforts were made to Christianize and educate the Negroes, and the Anglican missionaries were expected to make this part of their work.”

The latest artificial hysteria cranked up by the Offendedness Cartel — re: detention of juvenile illegal immigrants — is the most nakedly sentimental appeal yet by the party out-of-power, a.k.a. “the Resistance.” I have a solution: instead of holding these children in some sort of jail-like facility until their identity can be sorted out, just give each one of them an honorary masters degree in Diversity Studies from Harvard and let them, for God’s sake, go free in the world’s greatest job market. Before you know it, we’ll have the next generation of Diversity and Inclusion deans, and America will be safe from racism, sexism, and Hispanophobia.

I won’t waste more than this sentence in arguing that official policy for the treatment of juvenile illegal immigrants is exactly what it was under Mr. Obama, and Mr. Bush before him. I didn’t hear Paul Krugman of The New York Times hollering about the various federal agencies acting “like Nazis” back in 2014, or 2006. You’d think that ICE officers were taking these kids out behind the dumpster and shooting them in the head. No, actually, the kids are watching Marvel Comics movies, playing video games, or soccer, and getting three square meals a day while the immigration officials try to figure out who their parents are, or how to repatriate them to their countries-of-origin if they came here without any parents — say, with the assistance of the Sinaloa Drug Cartel. By the way, these make up the majority of kids detained in the latest wave of mass border crossings.

VIRAL FLASHBACK: Nancy Pelosi On Immigrant Children Detained Under Obama

...what we saw in those rooms was dazzling..." Once again, the House Democrats' outspoken leader's past statements have come back to haunt her. In some remarks from back in 2014 that have resurfaced amid the Democrats' hypocritical hysteria over the Trump administration's handling of illegal immigrant families, Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi struck a remarkably different tone about children detained by the Obama administration than she has about the Trump administration's handling of the situation.

In March 2018, China’s state-controlled internet, amid rumors that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un was secretly visiting China, rendered the term “fatty” unsearchable. In China, “Fatty the Third” is a derogatory nickname for Kim, who inherited his position from his father and grandfather.

This occurred shortly after Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China, arranged to abolish presidential term limits. Like Kim, Xi was to the manor born, as a “princeling”—a term used for the privileged children of earlier generations of Communist Party members. Similarly, in Communist Cuba, the Castro dynasty has survived Fidel.

Dynastic politics seems to be on the rise in quite different political systems. In postcommunist Russia, President Vladimir Putin is the grandson of Lenin’s and Stalin’s cook—a sensitive position in the court of the “Red Tsars.” In the United States, before Donald Trump’s entry into the race and surprise victory, many observers expected the presidential campaign of 2016 to pit Hillary Clinton, the wife of a recent president, against Jeb Bush, the direct relation of two recent presidents.

Trump Order to Stop “Separating Families” Gives Invaders Legal Status above that of US Citizens

Via Nancy

US President Donald Trump’s about turn on the issue of separating the children of illegal immigrants from their parents while in detention has created a new set of legal battles which can only result in the invaders being given special status over that of American citizens, an analysis of the new executive order’s implications shows.

More Details Emerge About Mother Of Immigrant Girl In Viral 'Separation' Picture

Not only were the little girl and her mother not separated from each other by immigration officials, according to the husband, his wife had taken their daughter against his will to America for better economic opportunities. In the process, she left three other children behind, their father forced to try to explain why their mom abandoned them. But it gets worse: He says she also paid $6,000 to a coyote, a human trafficker, to get them into the country.
And that's not all. According to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the woman was deported in 2013

More details have emerged about the true story behind the viral image of the 2-year-old Honduran girl crying while standing next to her mother and a U.S. border patrol agent. While the photograph has been widely circulated as the defining image of the administration's separation of illegal immigrant families —Time Magazine even going so far as to include the girl on its cover with Donald Trump callously staring down at her — the real story behind the moving picture is the perfect example of why Trump's rhetoric about our broken immigration system has resonated with so many people.
