Sheriff David Clarke: “Obama Suffers from Classic Narcissistic Personality Disorder”

obama snob

“Look, President Obama suffers from classic Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It’s a mental disorder. I wish somebody would write about it. It’s never his fault. He never does a personal inventory. Never looks in the mirror and see what might be his shortcomings and what he can do better. And not only that but look into the camera and tell the American people where he has fallen short. It’s always somebody else’s fault.”

Justice Scalia warns that the US Supreme Court is causing the 'destruction of our democratic system'

US Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was extra-fiery during a talk at Santa Clara University in California this week, saying in no uncertain terms that the court had been making a lot of bad decisions.

In his speech, Scalia said he believes the "liberal" Supreme Court is heralding the "destruction of our democratic system," according to an account from the SF Gate.

According to Scalia, the court is giving citizens rights that the Constitution doesn't specifically guarantee, like gay marriage and federally subsidized health insurance.

Horrific: This is one of the first images of the mangled wreckage of the Russian passenger jet that crashed this morning, killing 224 people
  • The aircraft was reported missing 23 minutes after leaving the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh with 224 on board
  • The doomed jet was owned by an Irish company and leased to a Russian airline carrying tourists to St Petersburg
  •  Egyptian air crash investigators said the pilot had warned of a 'technical problem' shortly before the disaster
  • The jet was plunging at more than 6,000 feet per minute as the pilot tried to land at el-Arish airport in northern Egypt

The Constitution’s Big Lie

Via David

 Rossiter II

One of the greatest hoaxes ever perpetrated upon Americans at the time of its telling and which is still trumpeted to this very day is the notion that the U.S. Constitution contains within its framework mechanisms which limit its power. The “separation of powers,” where power is distributed among the three branches – legislative, executive, judicial – is supposedly the primary check on the federal government’s aggrandizement.

This sacred held tenet of American political history has once again been disproved.

Last Friday (October 23), the Attorney General’s office announced that it was “closing our investigation and will not seek any criminal charges” against former Internal Revenue Service’s director of Exempt Organizations, Lois Lerner, or, for that matter, anyone else from the agency over whether they improperly targeted Tea Party members, populists, or any other groups, which voiced anti-government sentiments or views.

The Department of Justice statement read:

Vets appalled at 'Muslim Brotherhood float'

Via Skynet

Muslim influence in America is on the rise.

Oklahoma’s Muslim community is breaking new ground.

For the first time, they will have a float in the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Tulsa, and a local newspaper reports that not all parade participants are happy about it. Namely, U.S. military veterans.

“It’s something we have been wanting to do for years,” Adam Soltani, executive director of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, told the Tulsa World.

Soltani said the float is sponsored by CAIR-Oklahoma but will “represent the Oklahoma Muslim community, which is a very diverse community of people from all walks of life, immigrants, indigenous people.”

Like in most states, the vast majority of Muslims in Oklahoma are immigrants, not “indigenous people,” say those who follow the U.S. immigration and refugee trends.

EXCLUSIVE — Donald Trump Rights Ship on Immigration: Demands Disney Rehire Workers Replaced by Cheap Foreign Labor, Calls Rubio ‘Silicon Valley’s Puppet’

Via avordvet

 US-VOTE-REPUBLICANS-DEBATE

Last night during the CNBC primary debate, Donald Trump, who to this point in the campaign had been the Republican candidate most closely aligned with the conservative grassroots on immigration policy, seemed to have altered his message in several significant ways.

Breitbart News documented some of these changes here.

Trump, who leads many national 2016 polls, granted Breitbart News an interview on the subject. Full questions and responses below:

BNN: The media has been filled with stories about companies flying in low-wage H-1B workers to replace American workers in tech jobs. Adding insult to injury, these American workers have been forced to train their replacements. If you were President, would you put a stop to this practice?

DT: Day one. This is why I got into this race. Because the everyday working person in this country is getting screwed.

Andrew Young: Sees the Confederate battle flag as the cross of St. Andrew

Civil rights veteran Andrew Young says the Confederate battle flag is a symbol whose controversy is overblown by those opposing its presence in public places.

"To hell with where we fly it," Young snorted in response to a question during an interview with 11Alive News.

The former Atlanta mayor and UN ambassador says that when he sees the Confederate battle flag, he sees the cross of St. Andrew, a figure of Christianity.

"The cross itself is a symbol of redemption and reconciliation. And just because a few people used it for other purposes…we don't need to jump to emotional conclusions," Young said.

To any one considering either enlisting or becoming an officer in ANY branch of the military today, I have only one thing to say to you: DON'T.

To those still in the military: Do NOT re-up.

To the officers: Resign your commission. The life and soul you save will be your own.
The civilian leadership in charge does not have the slightest clue. They hold you in contempt. They WILL screw you over.

TPTB, will get their way and get their gender neutral less masculine military. It is a done deal. They will also get you killed for no good reason. As much as it pains me to say this (I am a 27 year vet) just maybe, this country is so far gone down the tubes that it is NOT worth defending any more. I see the average citizen as a sheeple, and clueless.
To those who voted for antichrist Obama, you are the enemy. You are NOT my countryman, you are the other. I don't give a damn about you. I wish for you the worst fate of all, to have to live with the consequences of your own stupidity. I pray that you will get in full measure every thing that you deserve. Zero sympathy.
Again from Kipling: "If any question why we died, tell them because our fathers lied."

Changing the “Macho” Male Culture of the US Military

Via WRSA

 https://westernrifleshooters.files.wordpress.com/2015/10/female-soldiers.jpg

I remember hearing in 2010 from a buddy at the Pentagon that the combat exclusion policy for women in combat arms would be overturned no matter what “about a year from the President’s last year.” At the time I thought he was crazy, but the next year I heard the same from another friend. His take was even more troubling: “There is a loosely connected group of advocates that have found huge traction with the current civilian leadership here and they have a pretty well-thought out campaign plan to get women into combat arms,” he told me. “Some of the groups simply want equality, others talk about more women generals, and there’s one group that is linking this to changing American male culture.” Looking back, many of the things I am seeing now make sense when remembering my friends’ comments.

Today I am privy to most of the plans that are currently in place to put women into combat arms. I have been told, again by acquaintances working at the Pentagon and at various headquarters around the US military, that all of the “experiments” that the services have been undergoing for some time now have been a sideshow. The decision had been made from the get-go. As one Female Engagement Team Program manager told many in Afghanistan in 2011, “the decision has already been made; we just need to talk about “the how” instead of “if”.”

This means that the Ranger School “experiment” was an experiment in name only. It was guaranteed from the beginning to graduate a woman and that graduation would be used as proof that the combat exclusion rule needed to go. This, of course, matches what every Army Command Sergeant Major (9) in 2011-2013 told me was said to them by high-level CSMs and General Officers while attending their pre-command courses: “women will be in combat arms and women will graduate Ranger School, if any of you has a problem with that, you need to get out of the military.” They reported that the Ranger Instructors at Ranger School were told the same thing.

NC: Lincoln’s Hessian Thieves

The father of the writer below, Dr. John D. Bellamy of Wilmington, sent his family 60 miles inland to refugee in safety from marauding Northern troops. Not only was his family terrorized by invading Northern “hirelings” in early 1865, but Dr. Bellamy’s home in Wilmington was occupied and looted after the fall of that city. His wife organized the local Soldiers Aid Society which cared for the wounded and produced clothing for Southern soldiers.

Bernhard Thuersam, www.Circa1865.com   The Great American Political Divide

Lincoln’s Hessian Thieves

“My [planter/physician] father had two sons in Virginia, in the [Confederate] Army and Navy, and the next one to go was I. So during the winters of 1863 and 1864, and the early part of 1865, although he shod his Negroes with good shoes, he made me, and also my younger brother, go barefoot during the winters. He said it would toughen and harden us, and that when my time to go to Virginia, I would be able to stand the exposure of the battle fields; and the result was that I never had, from that day to this, any serious illness – owing much of my longevity to this enforced practice in my rearing.

I can recollect, while going out in winters with my feet bare, in the snow and ice that I always went on the side of the fence where the sun shone through the cracks of the rails and melted the snow! It was warmer!

With great vividness I remember, also, how in March 1865, after Sherman had burned Columbia . . . General Francis P. Blair, of Sherman’s army, came with his corps, consisting of General Hickenlouper’s Brigade and other troops, through Robeson County, where we were refugeeing. The corps that came immediately around our home consisted of Germans or Hickenlouper’s Brigade, who could speak very little English, and German officers were in command.

They were hirelings of the United States Government to assist in fighting the South, very much as the Hessians were hired during the Revolutionary War.

It had been rumored that my father was a very wealthy man, and immediately the Hessians drew their steel ramrods out of their muskets, and began to pierce the ground all around our home and other places on the premises, to find what treasure they could unearth.

They found the silver my oldest sister had buried under the steps. They also discovered a valued deposit in which was my father’s valued diploma from Jefferson College, of the University of Pennsylvania. [The bummers] had gone through our home and cut open the locked bureau drawers with axes and stolen every valuable they could find . . . .

[An officer,] with three or four Germans, came into our home . . . and demanded that my mother give them the contents of her safe, which contained milk, butter and other food. Of course she had to comply! Immediately, they started to drink the milk, and remarked, “Mrs. Bellamy, is this milk poisoned?” So, my mother drank a cup of milk, before they would drink the remainder.

They left us without food and penniless for nearly a week, after the troops continued their march to Fayetteville and Wilmington and through Bentonville. [While] a boy, two bummers seized me, held me, and took off a nice pair of shoes, which I had put on to prevent them from being stolen! I was left in my stocking feet, in the cold rain, in the back yard! And that Yankee had my shoes!

[Someone told the Yankees of a] certain lady living in the neighborhood had money and jewels, which she had hidden in the mattress of her bed. [They] found her sick in bed [and] asked for her money and she denied having it. They pulled her out, raised up the mattress, found her valuables, and took them! As a punishment, they knocked in the top of a hogshead of molasses, which they found in her barn, and dipped her, head and all, into the barrel!

Randy Weaver was a white separatist, a racist and a radical whose views were unpalatable to general society. In fact, most patriots would not have wanted to associate with him and his family. Their views were strange, and some of the people they associated with were even more unsavory in their views than the Weavers were. Patriots may not understand how someone who claimed to believe in liberty could honestly believe that one race is somehow better than another. One thing that patriots do understand, however, is that regardless of what Weaver’s beliefs were, he had the right to live in peace, and he did not deserve to have his son shot in the back or his wife’s head blown off on his own land at Ruby Ridge. Randy Weaver had the right to self-defense, and the government was wrong. Twenty-three years later, the horror of his story has not waned…and never will.

"I doubt if there is a race of people anywhere more willing to care for unfortunate children and babies than is the Negro."

"They will often take them at great sacrifice and hardship to themselves and treat them as their own. As a rule, no questions are asked as to the child's background and parentage. They seem to be more interested in the age, sex, and color of the child than anything else. In Warren County, the supply could generally meet the demand!"

"I was told that Warren County at one time had the highest percentage of Negro population of any county in the state, nearly 70%. A goodly portion of these were intelligent and cooperative. Practically all of them were loyal friends to anyone whom they thought interested in their welfare. When it comes to doing without things which we consider necessities, they can take it without complaining. As a rule, Negroes have a keen sense of humor that helps them over the rough places in life. When grief and sadness come to them, they suffer intensely, but it usually is short-lived."

"The generous and understanding cooperation, as well as the loyalty shown me by my friends, both white and colored, can never be forgotten. I shall always cherish this memory with a deep appreciation and with an abiding faith in the citizenship of Warren, my beloved county."

"I shall always number some of the Negroes of Warren County among my best friends."

1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Unrestored, Well Documented, Original Engine

 https://img.mecum.com/auctions/FL0116/FL0116-229801/images/FL0116-229801_1.jpg

The adage often is that a car is only original once, and many understand that provenance is a crucial part of buying investment-grade muscle cars. A vehicle of this nature is expected to exhibit signs of preservation, and a great deal of attention is paid to the originality and date coding of all the components. For those looking for what has become an icon of the American performance era, the 1971 Hemi Cuda, not only is the provenance of this particular car noteworthy, but so is its ownership trail.

It was 1975, and Frank Badalson was not yet recognized as one of the premier Hemi originality experts in the Mopar hobby. He was a college student, and he was buying Terry Dye’s all-original 1971 Hemi Cuda as daily transportation and for an occasional pass at the local dragstrip. Even at that time, Badalson understood just how unique any Hemi car was, and the gas crunch of the mid-‘70s made ownership possible for a number of people like Frank who had missed them when new.

Cruz: Obama – Boehner Budget Deal Ridiculous, Deceitful, and a Disgrace

Via avordvet

Ted Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz has come out strongly against the Ryan – Obama – Boehner budget deal that was agreed to in the middle of the night between departing Speaker of the House John Boehner, establishment Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and President Obama.

The budget is a two fiscal year agreement that fully funds Obama’s budget priorities, takes spending off the table as an issue in the 2016 election and breaks the spending caps agreed to as part of the 2011 debt ceiling deal that took spending off the table for the 2012 presidential election.

In short, it is a complete surrender to Obama on spending, leaving him free to proceed with a host of anti-conservative policies intended to “fundamentally change America,” without the possibility that a Republican Congress will use the power of the purse to stop him.

The National Education Association and the Confederate Flag

Back in July of this year the National Education Association had a big meeting in Orlando, Florida and, as is typical with this “educational” organization, they ended up debating issues that seldom have anything to do with education but would make a wish list that every socialist congressperson in Washington would dearly love to vote for.

An article by Stephen Sawchuk on Education Weekly blogs has headlined: “Resolution on Confederate Flag Sparks Controversy at NEA Assembly.”  The first sentence in the article stated:

“National Education Association delegates adopted a new business item directing the union to ‘find appropriate and effective efforts to remove the confederate battle flag from schools and public spaces.'” What trying to remove Confederate battle flags from “public spaces” has to do with education escapes me and honestly, folks, how many Confederate battle flags have you recently seen atop the flagpoles at public schools? This is a politically correct (Culturally Marxist) propaganda item to alert other leftist organizations that the NEA and they are on the same page.

It will be interesting to see if Merkel survives long enough to be put on trial for her crimes against Germany and the German people:

Merkel Increasingly Isolated

The griping over Merkel's policies has grown louder within her own party, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The meetings of the party's parliamentary group, which for many years radiated the boredom of an English gentleman's club, now resemble tribunals against the chancellor. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble, the strong man in Merkel's cabinet, also expressed his own dissatisfaction, in distant Peru, by cracking jokes about border controls in the former East Germany.

Merkel is looking increasingly isolated. Government sources say she has made refugee policy her personal concern, and now she is being left to deal with it on her own. Last week, Interior Minister Thomas de Maizière confided in his Luxembourg counterpart, telling him that Merkel did not have a plan, only "cold feet."

The suit was filed on behalf of the widow, children and parents of Matthew Mark Smith, a member of the Cossacks Motorcycle Club and a former member of the Scimitars Motorcycle Club. Smith was shot once in the upper right back by a jacketed projectile that left a quarter inch hole. That would be consistent with a projectile fired by an FN P90 or an M16 both of which were carried by police at the scene. That jacketed projectile partially fragmented and  was recovered. It was the shot that killed Smith. It caused his right pleural cavity to fill with about a liter of blood. He was also shot in the lower, lateral abdomen by a projectile that was never recovered but that left a slightly larger hole that would match common pistol rounds.

University of Mississippi police officers removed the state flag from campus today in a morning ceremony after a campus-wide push from students, faculty and administrators called for the flag's removal due to its Confederate ties.

Ole Miss joins other Mississippi public universities, including Alcorn State, Jackson State and Mississippi Valley State, in choosing not to fly the state flag, which features a Confederate emblem in one corner.

Discussions to change Mississippi's flag have been ongoing for years and were revived last summer.
While many state legislators have spoken out in support of developing a new state flag without Confederate imagery, others, including Gov. Phil Bryant have indicated changing it is not a current priority.

A Georgia #BlackLivesMatter activist, who posted video threats against police, didn’t get any special treatment just because her judge was also a black woman.

Clayton County Magistrate Judge Wanda Dallas didn’t buy Latausha Nedd‘s  argument that she was just exercising her First Amendment rights by waving a gun and a machete at the camera in her videos, and calling for “blacks to take police officer’s guns, take over a police station, and kill white people.”

Dallas slapped Nedd with $70,000 bail, and declared that charges of criminal solicitation and terroristic threats should go forward.

Atlanta’s WSB-TV showed parts of the nearly 14 minutes of video that prosecutors played in court.

The decline of the West is not going to be announced by those in charge, not least because the state garners loyalty and obedience from its citizens by way of its ability to protect them and provide them with various rights and services, or at least having the appearance of being able to do so.

If the state cannot do this, or cannot maintain the facade, citizens will begin to question the benefit of remaining loyal and obedient to an already distrusted political class. Many grumble about unjust laws, stifling political correctness, globalism and corrupt officials but they still largely obey the law and pay taxes. They are outwardly loyal despite being in a state of inner revolt. Martyrs like Kim Davis who risk imprisonment and injury are still few.

Northern Destruction and Rebel Trophies

Anyone who scratches the surface of the Northern war upon the South cannot avoid the obvious question of why those Americans who sought a more perfect union with the consent of the governed, and in full compliance with Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence, were to suffer wanton destruction, defeat and virtual enslavement for the very same act initiated by their forefathers in 1776.
Bernhard Thuersam, www.Circa1865.com   The Great American Political Divide

Northern Destruction and Rebel Trophies

“The Civil War was not worth its cost. It freed the slaves, upset a social and an economic order, strengthened the powers of the national government, and riveted tighter upon the South a colonial status under which it had long suffered. What good the war produced would have come with time in an orderly way; the bad would not have come at all.

Its immediate effects on the South were glaring and poignant; those more fundamental were less evident and long-drawn out. The war generation bore the brunt, and it was they who had to grapple hardest with the new problems.

As the war had been fought almost entirely in the South, here its destructions were wrought. What invasion feeds upon is the same everywhere – towns and cities, lines of railways, bridges and fences, forests and fields, factories and homes, livestock and granaries, and personal belongings.

Of all the Federal officers General Sherman was most proficient in carrying the rigors of war to the people, and for this Southerners set him upon a permanent pinnacle dedicated to Civil War ruthlessness, and often gave him credit for the destructions of other commanders. The lone chimneys – Sherman’s sentinels – reared themselves as conspicuous landmarks along the sixty-mile wide swath he cut across Georgia and up through South Carolina . . .

A Northerner who had travelled through the South declared that Sherman had not left a building on the railway from Macon to Savannah, and two years after the war Sherman . . . recalled to his veterans what had happened:

“Look to the South, and you who went with me through that land can best say if they too have not been fearfully punished.  Mourning in every household, desolation written in broad characters across the whole face of their country, cities in ashes and fields laid waste, their commerce gone, their system of labor annihilated and destroyed. Ruin, poverty and distress everywhere, and now pestilence adding to the very cap sheaf to their stack of misery; her proud men begging for pardon and appealing for permission to raise food for their children; her five million slaves free, and their value lost to their former masters forever.”

[Sherman] did his worst in South Carolina and left conditions there which a loyal Northern witness averred no pen could describe. Fearing he would be thought to be sentimentalizing, he added, “Yet that treatment was what the haughty little State needed.” Philip H. Sheridan’s ravages of the Shenandoah Valley and four years of other warfare in Virginia made the Old Dominion a fearful sufferer. Tennessee and Mississippi lay in ruins wherever armies had marched. Alabama claimed destructions amounting to $300,000,000 and the cane planters alone in Louisiana suffered losses set at $100,000,000. Total material destruction throughout the South has been estimated in billions of dollars [William W. Davis, The Civil War and Reconstruction in Florida, 1913, pg. 319].

Later, plundered belongings turned up in Northern pawnshops, and Southerners long charged that “the houses of volunteer officers, and chaplains especially, in almost every New England and Northern village” were filled “with stolen plate, pictures, books and even wearing apparel, and, in fact, everything from a piano to a pap-spoon, which, . . . [were] proudly displayed as “rebel trophies,” or “confiscated property.”

A group signing themselves “Many Southern Ladies” published in Northern papers a plea asking for the return of their property and directed it to “the families of lawyers, ministers, captains, colonels, generals, professors in colleges . . . [and to] thousands of privates in the army, and chaplains and governors of States.”

Merkel: Gone Mad—Or Bribed? GOP Example Suggests The Latter

Via Mike

Merkel and Soros: Could it be....?

Back in August, in a process laid out in Refugee Resettlement Watch’s accurately-titled essay Merkel has gone mad!
German Chancellor Angela Merkel…announced that any Syrian who gets to Germany can apply for asylum there…the country has decided to suspend a European Union rule, called the Dublin Regulation, which says refugees are supposed to stay in the first European country of arrival until their asylum claims are processed.
The consequence inevitably was an enormous immivasion as enterprising individuals from as far away as Afghanistan set out to colonize Germany, confidently expecting to be able to masquerade as Syrians. As many as 1.5 million are now expected to arrive this year.

Merkel’s primary policy responses have highly significant: to try to suppress dissent (even begging Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg for help) and to make a deal with Turkey.

The Turkish move was especially telling. As Steve Sailer accurately said

Breitbart Meetup Ends with Police Chopper Overhead

Via Tom

IMG_4028

A Breitbart meetup in Arizona ended with a restaurant cutting off the microphone before a police helicopter strangely descended upon the gathering ordering attendees to disperse.

In an effort to provide offline fellowship to a community of passionately engaged readers, Breitbart News recently introduced Breitbart local “Meet Ups.” The second event, held in Phoenix on Wednesday night, featured Breitbart’s Brandon Darby discussing border issues and AWR Hawkins discussing gun rights. Between 150-200 people flooded the patio on a cool night at K O’Donnell’s to discuss matters of liberty and network with other like-minded conservatives.

The damaging liberal vision: Walter Williams

Here’s my question to you: If an evil person is guaranteed that he can inflict physical pain upon others and guaranteed to never suffer pain himself, what happens to his willingness to inflict pain? You say, “What do you mean, Williams?” OK, I will make my question more concrete. Suppose a young punk knows that he can knock out an innocent person and never suffer physical pain himself, such as being knocked out;
what happens to his willingness to play the knockout game? Suppose a rapist knows he can brutally rape a woman and never have to suffer physical pain himself; what happens to his willingness to rape? Suppose we guarantee school students that they can assault a teacher and never suffer similar pain themselves; what do you think happens to assaults on teachers? Finally, suppose we guarantee prison inmates that they can toss urine and feces cocktails on prison guards, a practice called gassing, and suffer no physical pain; what happens to their willingness to gas guards?
You can answer those questions. Let’s look at other effects of the liberal vision.

Jeff Sessions: ‘Great Danger’ Of Mass Amnesty In 2017

Via Mike

Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) grilled attorney general nominee Loretta Lynch on immigration during her confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee January 28, 2015 in Washington, DC.

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)
80%
is echoing the concerns of other prominent conservatives that the events unfolding now in Washington could lead to mass amnesty in 2017.

“The word is… that 2017 is the year to watch for immigration,” radio host Laura Ingraham asked Sessions. “What are the chances… that if Rep. Paul Ryan (R-W) is Speaker and Hillary Clinton is President of the United States,or Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is President of the United States that they would move in the first 100 days to push a massive, similar [to the ‘Gang of Eight’] immigration reform bill?”

Sessions replied, “I think there’s a great danger that that would happen.”

DOJ – Lois Lerner to face no criminal charges

Via David "** Of COURSE not.  We are no longer a nation of laws."

Lois Lerner Leaves House Hearing 3-5-2014

CNN Reports:
The Justice Department notified members of Congress on Friday that it is closing its two-year investigation into whether the IRS improperly targeted tea party and other conservative groups.
There will be no charges against former IRS official Lois Lerner or anyone else at the agency, the Justice Department said in a letter.
The probe found “substantial evidence of mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia leading to the belief by many tax-exempt applicants that the IRS targeted them based on their political viewpoints. But poor management is not a crime.”
Despite incriminating evidence and findings by IRS inspectors that Tea Party and conservative groups were treated worse than other groups, DOJ found no support for the view that Lerner and others were politically motivated, as CNN further reported:

Wimp Nation: Poised to Fall

 Marlboro Man

An example of pathological masculinity, male privilege, substance abuse, and patriarchy with overtones of violence against women and people of color, as well as probable homophobia. May drive a truck.

Come morning, I receive emails from friends documenting the curious social transformation coming over the US. These missives usually accompany links to some new tragicomic antics. E.g., Harvard, once a university, lets students invent odd pronouns to promote gender equity. “He” and “she” represent oppression and lack of inclusion.

Recently a friend, a Harvard PhD, wrote and said, “It’s not funny anymore.” I thought, and realized that, no, it isn’t. Things that seemed the obsessions of the occasional lugubrious neurotic are so common that they represent a change in the national character. It is eerie. Something  strange is happening.

What now is the national character? What sort of country is America today? A country of rugged individualism? Land of the free and home of the brave? A nation of the independent and self-reliant?

Let us start with Brave.

The Late Unpleasantness

Comment by Horace on The Confederate Flag: Should We Get Rid of It?

As a native born Tarheel and an adopted by marriage Virginian, I revere the great Richard Henry Lee, famous mostly for his Anti-Federalist writing. His namesake and heir, Colonel Richard Henry Lee wrote much later

"Twenty eight years have passed since the close of our civil war. Time, I trust has healed the wounds of war, but with the revolving years the causes and events of that terrible struggle seem to be forgotten, or if not forgotten, considered as unimportant events of history. And even the history of those events, and the causes that led to that struggle, are not set forth fairly and truthfully.

It is stated in books and papers that Southern children read and study that all the blood-shedding and destruction of property of that conflict was because the South rebelled without cause against the best government the world ever saw; that although Southern soldiers were heroes in the field, skillfully massed and led, they and their leaders were rebels and traitors who fought to overthrow the Union, and to preserve human slavery, and that their defeat was necessary for free government and the welfare of the human family.

As a Confederate soldier and as a citizen of Virginia , I deny the charge, and denounce it as a calumny. We were not rebels; we did not fight to perpetuate human slavery, but for our rights and privileges under a government established over us by our fathers and in defense of our homes."

War Is A Racket

 Re-post from NamSouth 2009 and FNC 2011/2012

While all of his acquaintances sneered and slanged, I wept:

War is a Racket by Smedley Butler is a famous speech denouncing the military industrial complex. This speech by two-time Congressional Medal of Honor recipient exposes war profits that benefit few at the expense of many. Throughout his distinguished career in the Marines, Smedley Darlington Butler demonstrated that true patriotism does not mean blind allegiance to government policies with which one does not agree. To Hell with war.

*********

Smedley Darlington Butler (July 30, 1881June 21, 1940), nicknamed " The Fighting Quaker " and " Old Gimlet Eye ", was a Major General in the U.S. Marine Corps and, at the time of his death, the most decorated Marine in U.S. history

During his 34 years of Marine Corps service, Butler was awarded numerous medals for heroism including the Marine Corps Brevet Medal (the highest Marine medal at its time for officers), and subsequently the Medal of Honor twice. Notably, he is one of only 19 people to be twice awarded the Medal of Honor, and one of only three to be awarded a Marine Corps Brevet Medal and a Medal of Honor, and the only person to be awarded a Marine Corps Brevet Medal and a Medal of Honor for two different actions.

In addition to his military career, Smedley Butler was noted for his outspoken anti- interventionist views, and his book War is a Racket. His book was one of the first works describing the workings of the military-industrial complex and after retiring from service, he became a popular speaker at meetings organized by veterans, pacifists and church groups in the 1930s.

FreeFor — You’re Doing Something Wrong

 English

Believe it or not, it’s not a regular part of my late night entertainment to be watching stirring speeches given in front of tens of thousands of excited local folk. In Dresden, Germany. Did not know until just this week that Tommy Robinson, who founded the EDL (English Defense League) in 2009, even spoke German. But there he was, like a favorite son, known and adored by everybody, returning in their hour of need. When you watch the video, you see that Tommy Robinson has been in the business of warning against the Islamification of Britain and Europe. Not a popular thing to do in your governments eyes, since anything and everything that points out the fact that a certain kind of violence and mayhem has settled in to, say Birmingham, for example, has been made punishable by law in England. And elsewhere.

Here is a similar speech given in Utrecht.

Gee, such a shame...............

Firefighters in southern Sweden have doused the flames at yet another temporary facility for refugees and migrants. The fifth in a series of suspected arson attacks in the last two weeks comes despite tight security and secrecy over their locations.

Teams from three fire stations have been deployed to extinguish the blaze at a former retirement home in Oderljunga, being prepared to become a temporary asylum for refugees, The Local reports.

The fire alarm at the facility went off at about 2:40 a.m. local time, regional newspaper Sydsvenskan reported.

The firefighters were able to put out fire almost immediately and save the building, which suffered only slight damage from the water that was poured on it and the smell of smoke that saturated the installation.

8th NC PATCON John Ainsworth Presentation

Via Cliff

Do we still have a right to government of our consent? Absolutely. However, little can be done about our current condition if we continue to remain ignorant, or worse yet, altogether deny the political reality of what our history has created.

In my presentation to those at PATCON, I explain the *monumental* difference between a national and a federal form of government. I review the history of how our original sovereign states were overthrown by actions of Congress, and replaced with a nationalized system. And finally, I show the legal, grassroots remedy to reviving those original states once again, so that together we can set this country back on its lawful, constitutional foundation.

Here's a quick rundown of the topics reviewed, in case you'd like to skip around (also shown in YouTube video description):

-Our Christian Foundation (1:40-6:40)

-The Original Sovereign States / National vs. Federal Government (6:40-12:15)

-Order of Authority & Constitutional Violated (Law Graph) (12:15-14:00)

-Landmark Cases of the Fourteenth Amendment (14:00-17:00

-Abraham Lincoln & Tools of a Tyrant (16:50-25:30)

-Object of the War / Timeline (25:30-29:45)

-The New War of Reconstruction (29:45-36:00)

-Andrew Johnson's Veto (36:00-38:20)

-Original Intent of the Fourteenth Amendment (38:20-43:00)

-Reconstruction & the Supreme Court (ex parte McCardle) (43:00-51:00)

-Our Political Choices / Positions of the Original States / A Call to Action (51:00-58:00)
