The idea that law-abiding concealed carry permit holders could potentially stop mass shooters is nothing more than a “myth,” the New York Times editorial board proclaimed on Monday.

Citing a study from the anti-gun Violence Policy Center, the editorial board claimed “at least 763” concealed carry permit holders “have been killed in 579 shootings that did not involve self-defense” since 2007.

  2. The fantasy here is the notion that the New York Times is an actual, credible, real newspaper, that employs real journalists. About the only use for that waste of a paper is for wrapping fish in or lining the bottom of a bird cage. The Paper of record, has a record of getting the facts wrong, reporting it events wrong, or just out and out making it up to fit their view of things.Remember they were once out done by that supermarket rag, The National Enquirer.
