AG Barr Appoints U.S. Attorney To Investigate Origins Of Russia Investigation (Dems: I Would Be Very Worried)

Via Billy

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) reacted to the news by writing on Twitter: "John Durham is an outstanding choice for special prosecutor investigating 2016 pre-election activities—his selection further demonstrates Bill Barr’s tenacity and determined desire to get to the truth and restore credibility at the top tier of the DOJ and FBI."
Attorney General Bill Barr has appointed a U.S. attorney to investigate the origins of the Russia investigation and to determine if the FBI's surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016 was legal.

The Associated Press reported that a source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that Barr "appointed John Durham, the U.S. attorney in Connecticut, to conduct the inquiry."

How Arlington House National Cemetery Came to Be

The fight over Robert E. Lee’s beloved home—seized by the U.S. government during the Civil War—went on for decades

One afternoon in May 1861, a young Union Army officer went rushing into the mansion that commanded the hills across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. "You must pack up all you value immediately and send it off in the morning," Lt. Orton Williams told Mary Custis Lee, wife of Robert E. Lee, who was away mobilizing Virginia's military forces as the country hurtled toward the bloodiest war in its history.

Mary Lee dreaded the thought of abandoning Arlington, the 1,100-acre estate she had inherited from her father, George Washington Parke Custis, upon his death in 1857. Custis, the grandson of Martha Washington, had been adopted by George Washington when Custis' father died in 1781. Beginning in 1802, as the new nation's capital took form across the river, Custis started building Arlington, his showplace mansion. Probably modeled after the Temple of Hephaestus in Athens, the columned house floated among the Virginia hills as if it had been there forever, peering down upon the half-finished capital at its feet. When Custis died, Arlington passed to Mary Lee, his only surviving child, who had grown up, married and raised seven children and buried her parents there. In correspondence, her husband referred to the place as "our dear home," the spot "where my attachments are more strongly placed than at any other place in the world." If possible, his wife felt an even stronger attachment to the property.

Chinese Sex Trade in Pakistan: Abuse of Christian Girls

Via Cousin John

"There is evidence of similar patterns of bride migration and trafficking in Cambodia, North Korea, and Vietnam, and more may emerge from other countries bordering China. Importing women doesn't solve the shortage—it spreads it."

Once purchased, women and girls are typically locked in a room and raped repeatedly, with the goal of getting them pregnant quickly so they can provide a baby for the family. After giving birth, some are allowed to escape -- but forced to leave their children behind.

That women and girls are being abused throughout Asia is sickening enough, and warrants immediate attention by the international community. But that Christian girls in particular are being targeted in Pakistan makes the current prostitution ring a double human-rights abuse that needs urgent looking into.

Sara Carter: The More We See, the More We Realize How Far the Obama Administration Went with Spying on Trump

EXCERPT:

CARTER: "That's right. I mean, I think, Baker right now realizes he is in jeopardy as well. That he was part of this process. He even admits to the fact that it was he that oversaw a lot of this, the FISA applications that went before the foreign intelligence surveillance court. And it’s also Baker that's under investigation now. Remember, Baker, and I think I was the first to report that nearly two years ago, that Baker is actually under investigation for leaks. So we have a number of high-level senior officials at the FBI under investigation right now for their failure to adhere to the law.

What Sydney says is absolutely true. They violated everything in the book. But Jason, it goes far beyond this. What we are seeing now is just the tip of an iceberg. Remember, the iceberg below the water is much larger. And I think that's the reason they're fighting back so hard. So when we see them on these tours, when we see them gaslighting the public, when we see them pooh-poohing, like what they did is nothing more than well, we put a siren in the footnote, we let the courts know. They didn’t. They withheld exculpatory evidence, and I think the more we see, the more we will realize how far members of the Obama Administration went, not only with the surveillance, but far beyond the Trump campaign."

More About What Passed For The Trial Of The Century

Image result for lincoln trial assassins

In the last article I dealt somewhat with the “trial” of the Lincoln conspirators and observed that this “trial” was the sort that gives Kangaroo Courts a bad name. There was about as much impartiality in this trial as there would be for a Boston Red Sox player on trial for the murder of a New York Yankees player with the trial being held in Yankee Stadium.

There’s Something Happening Here…What it is ain’t exactly clear.
Come along for the ride from the 60s as we can see that “...there’s a man with the law over there, tellin’ us we’ve got to be’ware. Think it’s time we STOP…! Children, what’s that sound, everybody look what’s goin’ down…”

And, therein lies the trillion dollar question (updated to coincide with our National debt). The Democratic/Communists, controlled and financed by the Deep State cabal’s long term goal to divide and conquer the former ‘United’ States of America into their false illusion of a socialistic utopia is nearly complete. And, you and I are the only ones who can prevent them from completing their mission. You and I, with a little help from President Trump and AG Barr, that is.

VA Sec. Wilkie: A breakthrough in health care for veterans is coming in June -- Here's what to expect

To ensure our veterans are spending their time getting care instead of driving to it, patients facing an average drive time of 30-minutes or more for VA primary or mental health care, or non-institutional extended care services, will have the option of choosing a community provider closer to home. For specialty care, the drive-time standard will be an average of 60 minutes.
And to get veterans the care they need when they need it, VA patients facing a 20-day or more wait time for primary or mental health care, or non-institutional extended care services, will have the option of choosing a community provider who can deliver that care faster. For specialty care, the wait-time standard will be 28 days.
For additional convenience and timely treatment, eligible veterans will also have access to urgent, walk-in care that gives them the choice to receive certain services at participating community clinics in their communities. (To access this new benefit, veterans will select a provider in VA’s community care network and may be charged a copayment.)
