First Lady Melania Trump met with ‘Chelsea Pensioners’ and school children at the renowned Royal Hospital retirement home for war veterans on Friday morning.

‘Chelsea Pensioners’ are residents at the Royal Hospital, which is a retirement home for former members of Britain’s army where “any former soldier of the British Army over the age of 65, who is facing spending their advanced years alone, can apply for residence as an In-Pensioner,” according to the Royal Hospital.

The Royal Hospital was founded by King Charles in 1682 as a retreat for veterans and was inspired by Les Invalides in Paris. It is home to around 300 male and female veterans including those who served in Korea, Cyprus, Northern Ireland, and World War II.

'She Goes Not Abroad in Search of Monsters to Destroy’, John Quincy Adams

Via Cousin John

On July 4, 1821, Secretary of State John Quincy Adams delivered an historic address on U.S. foreign policy. After reading the full text of the Declaration of Independence, he continued:

It is not, let me repeat, fellow citizens, it is not the long enumeration of intolerable wrongs concentrated in this declaration; it is not the melancholy catalogue of alternate oppression and entreaty, of reciprocated indignity and remonstrance, upon which, in the celebration of this anniversary, your memory delights to dwell.

Nor is it yet that the justice of your cause was vindicated by the God of battles; that in a conflict of seven years, the history of the war by which you maintained that declaration, became the history of the civilized, world; that the unanimous voice of enlightened Europe and the verdict of an after age have sanctioned your assumption of sovereign power, and that the name of your Washington is enrolled upon the records of time, first in the glorious line of heroic virtue.

GERMANY’S WAR: The Origins, Aftermath & Atrocities of World War II

Establishment historians characterize National Socialist Germany as a uniquely barbaric, vile and criminal regime that was totally responsible for starting World War II and carrying out some of the most heinous war crimes in world history. Germany's War by John Wear refutes this characterization of Germany, bringing history into accord with the facts.

Newt Gingrich: GOP could win big in November thanks to Democrats’ radical, unrealistic immigration stance

Republicans have the chance to secure a major victory and expand their 51-49 majority in the U.S. Senate in the November midterm elections. Here's why.

Republicans have the chance to secure a major victory and expand their 51-49 majority in the U.S. Senate in the November midterm elections – largely because Democrats are advocating  radical, impractical and unpopular immigration positions.

As more and more Democrats throw their support behind so-called sanctuary cities, abolishing U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and promoting open borders, more and more Americans are expressing their vehement opposition to these positions.

A German Remembers Vietnam

President Richard M. Nixon later cited my report about this incident in his book, The Real War. So pardon my vanity if I quote a United States President quoting me: Nixon wrote: “…German journalist Uwe Siemon-Netto provided a vivid illustration of how communist guerilla groups use terrorism to effect their purpose. Siemon-Netto, who accompanied a South Vietnamese battalion to a large village the Vietcong had raided in 1965, reported: "Dangling from the trees and poles in the village square were the village chief, his wife, and their twelve children, the males, including a baby…"
The Vietcong had ordered everyone in the village to witness this family first being tortured, and then hanged. "They started with the baby and then slowly worked their way up to the elder children, to the wife, and finally to the chief himself. ... It was all done very coolly, as much an act of war as firing an anti-aircraft gun…"

Defense Distributed on Beating Back DOJ Censorship of DIY Firearms: ‘The era of the downloadable gun has formally begun’

With help from the Second Amendment Foundation, Defense Distributed and Cody Wilson are back. Wilson first made waves in 2012 when he launched Defense Distributed, a repository for 3D-printed gun designs.

The Department of Defense, under President Barack Obama, shut down Defense Distributed in 2013 for allegedly violating export restrictions. Wired magazine repeatedly called Wilson one of the “Most Dangerous” people alive.

Wilson fought back in court and won. This is a major First and Second Amendment victory, for both gun ownership and free speech.

Trump to Jim Acosta in UK: 'CNN is Fake News; I Don't Take Questions from CNN'

In a hearing full of creepy Strzok moments, one has folks asking if it’s ‘actually real’ … It is.

Via John

You would think that if it was real, you would find it everywhere but I can't.

Strzok has become a viral Internet sensation after making an array of bizarre smirks that creeped out millions of TV viewers and were immortalized in Twitter memes.

A woman named Holly Bowie posted a jaw-dropping video clip which showed a defiant Strzok looking hyper-defensive during his testimony before the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees. The committees have oversight of the FBI, where Strzok is employed.

Social media went wild because no one could believe the footage was real (it was).  Bowie tweeted: “[This is] completely real. I personally recorded it from my tv. I was so shocked when I saw it and played it back…I couldn’t believe it.”

Congress Demands State Department Release Secret Report Busting Myth of Palestinian Refugees

Palestinian protestors uses slings to throw stones towards Israeli forces during clashes across the border, following a demonstration calling for the right to return

Cruz, congressional insiders pressuring Trump administration to expose long classified report

Key lawmakers in Congress are increasing pressure on the Trump administration to release a long classified government report on Palestinian refugees that insiders have described as a potential game changer in how the United States views the refugee issue and allocates millions in taxpayer funding for a major United Nations agency, according to conversations with senior congressional officials working on the matter.

The State Department has, since the Obama administration was in office, been hiding a key report believed to expose the number of Palestinian refugees as far smaller than the U.N. and other have claimed for decades. The public release of this information could alter how the United States provides funding for Palestinian refugees.

Comment on VA: Left for Dead in Danville: How Globalism Is Killing Working Class America

Via comment by  Dan Patterson on the post "VA: Left for Dead in Danville: How Globalism Is Ki..."

Image result for Globalism killsThose Southerners of us with gray hair can still smell the furniture plants and textile mills that gave our small towns life and propelled the young into adulthood. We worked summers at one plant or mill along with our neighbors and family. Paychecks were stuffed in the local branch savings accounts to fund our next chapter and we learned quite a lot about human dynamics, problem solving, and life.

We all saw the end on the horizon, when the politicians were elbow deep in the pockets of the banks and their M&A divisions, all crowing about "new age, new era" and "transitioning from manufacturing to service economy" with "shareholder value" on all their black tongues. NAFTA was the icing on the cake, the cake of manure we were all forced to eat. Every bite. And made to smile about it.

The same play was performed in the North but on a different stage: the unionized work force was destroyed more slowly but more effectively and the effects will be in the genes of their offspring for generations.

Well hell. You know what? Screw all that. The past might be dead but I'll be damned if I will submit to eating another sh** sandwich. And good luck getting me to smile. We, the normal people of the United States, have been hypnotized and led along a path to slaughter by the people we entrusted to protect us. I think things are beginning to change, but it is time to cut the strings of dependence on "the global good" and take care of our own by our own means.

Cheers y'all.

After watching some of the testimony today (Around 90 minutes was all I could stomach) I came to a realization about Strzok and his ilk with regards to his/their use of words such as "patriotism", "Justice" and the ever-present "American people". To wit, They honestly believe in all of the above mentioned words, however THEIR definition/interpretation of these words differs greatly from the standard definition that the rest of us in the real world are familiar with. He considers himself a "patriot" because in his mind he's defending- not the Constitution and the oath that he swore to uphold from the forces of darkness- but the elites that gave him his position. The same with the "American people". As far as Strzok and his ilk are concerned, the "American people" are his fellow travelers in the establishment, as well as those in the elite who hold their leashes. Those who vote for same are considered useful idiots by people like Strzok.

As for the average person who may, or may not have voted for Trump? Well Strzok made his opinions of those people quite plain in his text to his paramour Ms. Page. They don't consider us Americans, in fact I'd wager they don't even consider us people, I know they consider us a threat to their way of life and that we are in fact their enemy. Not only do they consider us a foreign people - remnants of a bygone era, the "old" America if you will - as evidenced in today's testimony, as well as his texts, we don't even speak a common language anymore. When I was growing up, patriotism meant loyalty to the country - not the government - to them "patriotism" is protecting the establishment. And justice? Please! To them, "justice" is what happens to people like us when we have  the absolute, unmitigated gall to question anything that they do.
