History is the propaganda of the victorious.

[Publisher's Note, by Gene Kizer, Jr. : My good friend, Bo Traywick, wrote this powerful concise piece on the Yankee myth of American history, slavery, racism, and the truth about the War Between the States. It cuts right to the chase. At the end, Bo mentions the Gettysburg Address as "Orwellian doublespeak" which gave me the chance to bring in the great H. L. Mencken who said FAR worse than that about the Gettysburg Address in May, 1920.

Below is Bo's bio from the inside cover of his book, Of Apostates and Scapegoats, Confederates in the "City Upon a Hill," followed by his "A Colossal Lie," followed by H. L. Mencken putting Lincoln in his place and stating, among other truths:

Somebody needs to say it…  Somebody needs to ask…

On 17 August 1955, President Dwight D. Eisenhower prescribed a Code of Conduct for members of the Armed Forces of the United States.  The purpose behind establishing the Code of Conduct was to inform and equip each service member serving in a combat unit of their basic responsibilities when engaged in combat, or if they were captured by enemy forces.  Containing six articles, the first and sixth articles are particularly impactful reminders of the mission of the Armed Forces, and the complete dedication required of each member to complete their mission.

Article 1

“I am an American fighting in the forces that guard my country and our way of life,
I am prepared to give my life in their defense.”

Robert E. Lee: The Believer

In the Year of Our Lord 2021, it is fashionable for American Christians to despise the antebellum South. Many Christian leaders, Evangelical and otherwise, have defended or even applauded the destruction of Confederate statues by mobs. In 2016, the Southern Baptist Convention repudiated the Confederate battle flag.[1] In September of 2020, J.D. Greear, President of the SBC, said the denomination should remove the word “Southern” from its name because of its association with slavery.[2] This onslaught has not spared Confederate General-in-Chief Robert Edward Lee. He has been condemned vehemently and repeatedly by pagans and Christians alike. Statues of Lee dotted major cities across the South and have been among the most high-profile targets for the statue-smashers of 2020 and 2021. It was not always so. For over a century-and-a-half, Lee was considered a model Christian by admirers both North and South. Lee was praised by Presidents and featured on postage stamps. States named schools and roads after him. One man, at least, built much of his literary career on his biography of Lee.[3] Media portrayals always presented him as a man of deep faith and high integrity, and Christian media was no exception to that rule. Neither were Christian institutions. When I was a boy, Mama had me listen to Focus on the Family’s audio drama series Adventures in Odyssey. There was a two-part episode about Abraham Lincoln and what a great guy he was. Lee made a cameo appearance and was praised as a great man. During my time as an undergraduate, in late 2016 or early 2017, my school’s student government association held a weekend retreat at a YMCA facility; the dormitory in which we resided had been named Lee Hall until 2014, and a portrait of the General from his time as President of Washington College still hung in the dorm’s main entrance hall, along with a plaque explaining Lee’s Christian character and excellence as an educator. Given all the controversy, many Christians, especially Southerners, find themselves asking whether or not Robert E. Lee was ever worthy of the praise and admiration he received.

While taking photos, they exposed the frame of the futon on which Ahren’s head was injured.

On Thursday, the day before Ahren was removed from life support, Lake showed up at police headquarters.

*He sought reimbursement for damages to his futon, the affidavit states.

Lake is being held without bond at the El Paso County Jail.

*With a decision like this, I don't see how he had sufficent intelligence to qualify for the Army

Ahren DeHart’s regular babysitter called in sick.

The 13-month-old’s parents, an Army specialist stationed at Fort Bliss and a local hospital worker, needed to find a replacement babysitter on April 12, so they left their son with a friend, Marvin Rex Lake, according to family.

Authorities allege that when Araya Coffey returned that night from her job working labor and delivery at the Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus, her son was dying.

Surprise! NBC News Caught (Again) Deceptively Editing Columbus Shooting Video and 911 Call

Far-left NBC News has once again been caught deceptively and dishonestly editing a 911 call to gin up racial tensions. Only this time, the racial arsonists took things a step further by also deceptively editing body-cam footage.

The unedited audio and video of the 911 call and police shooting of a 16-year-old girl in Columbus, Ohio, makes two things clear: 1) the 911 call is from a terrified female desperate for help in a situation where someone is trying to stab someone else, and 2) the officer shot a 16-year-old black girl wielding a knife and who looked to be about a half-second away from plunging it into another young woman.
