Armed militia, incl. Bundy bros, occupy forest reserve HQ in Oregon, call ‘US patriots’ to arms

Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s three sons and “about 150” militiamen have occupied the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge HQ to protest the pending imprisonment of two Oregon ranchers accused of arson, arguing the federal government has no authority in local cases.

“We’re going to be freeing these lands up, and getting ranchers back to ranching, getting the loggers back to logging, getting the miners back to mining where they could do it under the protection of the people and not be afraid of this tyranny that’s been set upon them,”

Ammon Bundy, who appears to be the leader of the group, said in a Facebook video posted by Sarah Dee Spurlock on Saturday. Bundy appears to be standing at the scene of the takeover, surrounded by several men in military-style uniforms with rifles and hand-held radios.

The rancher points out that Harney County used to be the richest in state, and is now the poorest. His radical proposal to solve the situation is to have armed “patriots” come and live in a de-facto self-rule zone independent of the federal authorities.

Doctor Loses Appeal of Expulsion from Boston Hospital for Statements About Health Dangers of Homosexuality

Church-compressed

A Massachusetts urologist has lost his appeal of his expulsion from a Boston hospital for making statements on an internal online portal expressing concern about the health dangers of same-sex sexual activity.

As previously reported, Dr. Paul Church serves as a urology professor at Harvard University and has also had admitting privileges at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he has seen patients for nearly the past 30 years. He has additionally participated in medical missions outreaches in Mexico and Africa.

For over the past decade, Church has expressed concern to his colleagues about the hospital’s promotion of homosexual events. He has commented both via email and on the hospital’s internal portal that it is improper to promote lifestyles that are contrary to the goals of the healthcare community, and has been met with allegations that his comments constitute “discrimination and harassment” and are “offensive to BIDMC staff.”

“The evidence is irrefutable that behaviors common within the homosexual community are unhealthy and high risk for a host of serious medical consequences, including STD’s, HIV and AIDS, anal cancer, hepatitis, parasitic intestinal infections, and psychiatric disorders,” Church wrote on the portal on one occasion.

Donald Trump: An Evaluation

"Do we need this loud mouth?"

Nobody knows the answer to that question. But here's another question: Who else is there? We are going to have a president no matter what. Someone is going to be "elected." And at least Trump says things out loud that MUST be said--and refuses to engage in the customary (obligatory) disgusting public display of self-abnegation and apologizing afterwards. Apart from anything else, he gives voice to our sentiments. And that is huge all by itself. And new. And encouraging.

It's true what PCR says, but...but what? And I'm not talking about voting. Voting doesn't matter. Everybody knows that. But--and for me, this is the central thing--for a man despised by the "Press" and by the Establishment to be elected in direct disobedience to the stated wishes of the "Press" and the Establishment would be a great victory--even if a hollow one. And we need a victory. Our situation is dire.

Our people need to see that it is possible to defy the Establishment and the "Press" successfully, no matter what the subsequent details might turn out to be. Even if he is co-opted after the "elections"--or even before them--our people will at least have been energized by the taste of success, however fleeting that might be. People will know that it is acceptable to say politically incorrect things right out loud. The situation is desperate. And who else is there? Somebody is going to be "elected." Yes, he's a brash, loud-mouthed, pushy Yankee, but he is singing our song, if only for the present. Our people are beginning to see the real problems that confront us--because of this loudmouth. After all, this is exactly how feminism and gay marriage and racial equality and all the rest of it triumphed--by the constant repetition of the New Religion's catechism. For somebody--however unattractive--to be expressing our thoughts constantly and defiantly is beyond price. The campaign alone is a victory for us.

And even if Trump is not elected, the campaign will have made it clear to everybody that the Establishment and their new religion can be defied openly. We might not find ourselves with a president who is one of us, but we might find ourselves with something of a loud mouthpiece. That would be a step forward for us, however small.

And the only apparent alternatives are Hillary, Cruz, and "Jeb!" And I include Jeb! because I don't by any means count him out yet. I have seen the GOP Establishment in action with my own eyes. Nothing is too base for them.

And the more anti-Trump the Establishment becomes, the better. Because the more they denounce him, the clearer the real problems become to the somnolent  population. And the more vitriolic the Establishment becomes, the greater the defiance of them each vote for Trump will be. Yes, it's all insane, but there it is. Neither the situation nor the candidate is ideal, but we're not going to get that anyway. Here is a chance to defy the Establishment before the eyes of the whole world. After that, well, we shall see. But I think we need that.

Europe ''on the verge of civil war'' – Swiss army chief's urgent warning
Society in western Europe is on the verge of breaking down amid chaotic violence caused by economic dislocation, mass immigration and terrorism. This is not the view of some ‘crazy survivalist’ but of the head of the Swiss Armed Forces.

Lieutenant-General André Blattmann has issued a warning to the Swiss people that society is dangerously close to collapse and advised those not already armed as part of the Swiss Army reserve to take steps to arm themselves. Blattmann has been head of the Armed Forces since, 1 March 2009 and his words carry very significant weight in a country in which several Citizens’ Initiative referenda against burqas and mosques have proven enormously popular as concerns grow about immigration and Islamisation.

1, Abortion – 54 million deaths and counting. The government is still funding Planned Parenthood.

2. Immigration – Our rulers are importing unvetted Muslims as our country is attacked by Islamic terrorism.

3. Border Security – Obama’s open borders threatens our national security. States which enact existing immigration laws are punished by the federal government.

4. Police State – Our police no longer protect and serve the people. Do police instill safety or fear? Do your children fear the police?

5. National Debt – Our rulers spend money to enslave our children.

6. Education – 50% of our schools are failing.

7. Homosexual agenda – There is no compromise with this faction: they want everything including our faith.

On Christmas morning, families everywhere rushed downstairs to find hoverboards, Apple Watches and Star Wars toys under the tree.

But not many can say Santa left them a custom-made, pink anti-tank rifle, bedazzled in shiny jewels.

Guns have been one of the most popular gifts this year - with the sale of weapons soaring in the months leading up to the holidays.

So, after the leftovers are stuffed into the tuppaware and extended family members are shoved out the door, thousands of everyday Americans who were given a firearm this Christmas headed out to a firing range to test their presents.

RUBIO DONOR Sky-Writes “Trump Is Disgusting” Over Rose Bowl

Via Billy

On Friday skywriters stole the show at the 127th Rose Parade in California on Friday, spelling out “Trump is disgusting” in the sky just as the last float left the gate.

CBS News reported:

A millionaire real estate developer — who also happens to be a donor to Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign – is behind the aerial messages at the Rose Bowl calling GOP front-runner Donald Trump “disgusting” and he says that there’s more to come. Much more.

“There’s no place for him,” said Stan Pate, from Alabama. “He needs to go back to one of his tall towers and build buildings and whatever else he does. He’s a despicable man.”

“I want to see America wake up and say this is not what we expect,” he added.

American Terrorists: Lincoln's Armies In The South

Via Bill

 @ Amazon
No one ever loved his country more than the Southerner who loved his short-lived Confederacy.

The enormities the people of the South suffered for their experiment in liberty would be unbelievable except for the treasure trove of first-hand accounts they left us. From the long buried archives of Southern history, Mr. Grissom has unearthed letters, diaries, newspaper accounts of the 1860s, and personal recollections of those who survived the brutality of Lincoln’s armies as they burned, looted, tortured, molested, and murdered their way across Dixie.

Here, in their own words, men, women, and children describe the violence. Some of these eyewitness accounts have never before been published, while others have not been in print for almost 140 years. Forty-six photographs from the era, some having never been published until now, illustrate the text of this historical collection of first-hand accounts. The modern reader may be surprised to find that terrorism was not invented by ISIS.

Brussels canceled their fireworks display this year out of concerns of a possible terrorist attack but that didn’t stop the “youths” from causing mayhem across the city.

There was still plenty of pyrotechnics.

French police detained 622 people during this year’s New Year’s festivities, half as many as last year, French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve reported, according to AFP. About 300 were later placed under arrest. “This shows that security forces now work with greater efficiency,” the minister concluded. Despite this new “efficiency,” more than 800 cars were still set on fire overnight in France, in contrast to 940 in 2014. Security measures in the French capital had been stepped-up due to a series of atrocious terrorist attacks in the Paris on November 13.

Jackson Ward, Mississippi Councilman Says People Should Throw ‘Rocks and Bricks’ at Police

Via Billy

 (Jackson Ward)

A Mississippi councilman has sparked controversy after calling for dramatic action against police.

Kenneth Stokes, a councilman in Jackson Ward, says he wants his constituents to send a message

to police officers from other jurisdictions who chase misdemeanor suspects through their territory.
“What I suggest is we get the black leadership together, and as these jurisdictions come into Jackson we throw rocks and bricks and bottles at them. That will send a message we don’t want you in here,” he said, reported WLBT.

Sayings By or For Southerners, Part XXIII

The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with an average voter
— Winston Churchill

Democracy is the worst form of government, except for every other kind that has been tried. –Churchill

The lowest common denominator in America is a lot lower than it used to be.
–Clyde Wilson

The rebels have exhibited a most wonderful energy and skill in carrying on their struggle. No people on the face of the earth ever made so hard a fight with such limited means . . . They have displayed a combination of dash and endurance never before equaled in history.   All candid men . . . are free to admit that the final triumph of our national armies will be due only to superiority in numbers.
