Liberals Take Aim At USA Olympic Shooter: ‘Shoot Yourself’

Freedom Outpost
VERBATIM POST

Corey-Cogdell

Well we have seen how the left hates Chick-Fil-A and we have seen how the leftist leaning Olympic committee wouldn’t let a husband and wife room together in the Olympic village, but would allow homosexual couples to room together. Now we are seeing how the “tolerant” liberals, you know those who just love everyone and want to get along and just wish the intolerant conservatives would stop being so hateful, went after a young Olympic trap shooter named Corey Cogdell.

Ms. Cogdell was a bronze medalist at the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, but she is also a trophy hunter.

After posting some pictures of herself with animals she killed, liberal activists took to Twitter expressing their love, ur um hatred of Ms. Cogdell with some even calling for her to shoot herself.

I just wonder how any of these Twitter nuts that are writing some of this crap against Ms. Cogdell would even survive if they didn’t have their local grocery or convenience store. I’ll just bet they think all the food just magically appears there out of nothing. Should things get a little tough for them in the world, God forbid they need meat to eat or a weapon to defend themselves.

I certainly can say that Corey’s mother and father must be very proud of their daughter. They have taught her discipline and helped her perfect an ability that the haters do not know. Perhaps it is more like a jealous rage that these liberals are putting forth in their tweets. They only wish they were as good at what they do as Ms. Cogdell is at what she does.

I’m sure Corey could feel the love in these tweets:

Look, people are entitled to their opinion about hunting and any other issue, but calling for violence against another person like this is unacceptable. Twitter should be dealing with their subscribers a bit more seriously. These were some of the “lighter” comments posted. For even more vile calls for Corey’s life check out this. However Twitter is not alone. Facebook has some issues they need to sort out as well.

It seems some of these people’s parents didn’t teach them to play well with others. They are also a shame to their parents as well. I grew up in a day when you respected other people, but threatening someone in this fashion was something that would have been considered completely out of line. I suppose though it’s easy to go off on someone from behind a computer screen or a smartphone instead of manning up and actually confronting a young lady with a double barrel shotgun in her hands.

Behind the scenes: Obama and the NDAA

Via Don

Additional research and investigation into the controversial National Defense Authorization Act found something very interesting is not apparently being reported by the U.S. media. Readers will recall that controversy that surrounded the liberty-threatening NDAA legislation, passed with bipartisan support in the House and Senate and signed into law by Barack Hussein Obama last New Year’s Eve. That law essentially gave the government the right to arrest and detain, without due process, American citizens on significantly vague and broad charges ostensibly related to terrorism. The legislation opened a “Pandora’s box” of unpleasant possibilities that undermine our Constitutional rights and threaten our liberties unlike any othertime in our national history.

Supporters of the NDAA, along with the media, were quick to point to a “signing statement” penned by Obama expressing his concern over the liberty restricting rights of the law, as if that somehow made the language of the new law suddenly conform to the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Obviously, it did no such thing, but people were apparently comforted by this eight-page cross-my-heart promise that Obama and his redesigned national security apparatus would never use it for “bad.” Obama said he was uncomfortable with the particular language of section 1021 (and related portions) that called for arrests and indefinite detentions of U.S. citizens under the broad brush of terrorism.

Despite what you’ve been told, it is obvious that Obama and his cohorts are not uncomfortable with those provisions, and are quietly fighting to make sure the controversial provisions remain.

Men's cycling road race spectators

A man with Parkinson's disease who was arrested during the Olympic men's cycling road race while sitting beside the route has said he wants a "letter of exoneration" from Surrey police, claiming their treatment of him was disproportionate.

Mark Worsfold, 54, a former soldier and martial arts instructor, was arrested on 28 July for a breach of the peace shortly before the cyclists arrived in Redhouse Park, Leatherhead, where he had sat down on a wall to watch the race. Officers from Surrey police restrained and handcuffed him and took him to Reigate police station, saying his behaviour had "caused concern".

"The man was positioned close to a small group of protesters and based on his manner, his state of dress and his proximity to the course, officers made an arrest to prevent a possible breach of the peace," Surrey police said in a statement.

Worsfold, whose experience was first reported by Private Eye, claims police questioned him about his demeanour and why he had not been seen to be visibly enjoying the event. Worsfold, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2010, suffers from muscle rigidity that affects his face. He was released after two hours without charge or caution.

"It could have been done better. I was arrested for not smiling. I have Parkinson's," he said, adding that he realised the officers were working long hours and trying to control the event properly, but they had not, in his case, acted correctly. He said he did not want to make further comment until he received a response from Surrey police.

A Republican Dick Called Carlson

Via Matthew

Journalism being what it is these days, this StarTribune report, and most other “reports,” failed to mention the “Where” in their lead story: Over which Senate seat are Kurt Bills (approved by Ron Paul) and Dick Carlson (endorsed, possibly, by the reality TV community) bickering.

(Perhaps we were expected to infer the information a journalistic lead should impart from the name of the newspaper doing the reporting: The Minneapolis StarTribune.)

In any event, Ron Paul stands for sound money, limited government (with respect to welfare and warfare alike), individual liberties and property rights. Unable to deal a blow to the constitutional principles of the American Founding Fathers, a dick called David Carlson—a Republican whose rival Ron Paul has endorsed—is choosing to fight filthily. The political battle is over the U.S. Senate seat of the senior United States Senator from Minnesota, Amy Klobuchar.

So-Called "Places Where You Can Live Free In This World"

& from yesterday.
Land of the Free? Not When the Government Can Indiscriminately Kill US Citizens

===========

I recently read and commented on this article, which discusses the US Govnerment's proposed law to make extrajudicial killings of Americans illegal.
Last Friday, US Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced HR 6357, a bill which aims to ‘prohibit the extrajudicial killing of United States citizens’ by the federal government. In other words, in the Land of the Free, they need to pass a law to prevent the government from indiscriminately murdering its own citizens.
Now if this doesn’t give one reason to pause and consider the distortions of liberty that have taken place in western civilization, I don’t know what will. Think about it:

Does a free society send government hit men to eliminate anyone they perceive to be an enemy of the state?

Does a free society have hundreds of police agencies, each with the authority to deprive a man of his life, liberty and property in their sole discretion?

The article makes a bunch of very good points.

It also makes me very angry. Not at the government, or the tyranny, but at the implication of the article.

I am not happy by the article's implication, that is, one should leave the US to be "truly free".

I see a lot of this talk, more often than not from "financial advice" types. Do not fool yourself. There are many wretched souls out there who think liberty = ability to make more money, and vice versa.

I won't re-post the comment I left; you can read it at the linked article if you like.

He said, later on in the piece:
"You’ll find that there are places where you can live free in this world."

Jim Rogers on Singapore vs. Hong Kong as the Financial Center for South East Asia

"Singapore is certainly going to be the business center of what you call South East Asia , Hong Kong is going to be a major financial center of Asia , Singapore and Hong Kong will probably be the two and Singapore certainly of this region , it is one of the great advantages that Singapore has is they have both the English and the Chinese language but so does Hong Kong , but it's an open and law abiding society so Singapore will certainly become the financial center , may be the financial center of Asia and one of the financial centers of the world in the next couple of decades .

Many people want to be in Hong Kong because it is the gateway to China on the other hand it's the gateway to China and if China changes its mind about anything or if Beijing takes a different approach that might not be so good , Singapore is certainly neutral for all the countries in South East Asia , Hong Kong is viewed as part of China , now that's good and bad , So Singapore has a big advantage , The Indians for instance they rather come to Singapore rather than to Hong Kong, many people would rather come to Singapore rather than to Hong Kong because they don't know what's going to happen in China . many south asian Chinese had rather come to Singapore than China . But there are advantages to both .... "

Florida As Its Own Nation

Get US Off U.S.S. Titanic

In a poll conducted by CNN in 2006 startling 78% of Americans said that the Washington based government is "broken". The poll also concludes that over 21 million Americans believe the system cannot be fixed.

What would lead Americans, including our fellow Floridians, to have such a pessimistic outlook on Washington's government? A confiscatory federal taxation system enforced through threats of prison or death certainly is no favorite among our people. Even a change to the so-called "Fair Tax" would do nothing to curb a bloated and out-of-control government.

The money our state collects from us through various taxes and surrenders to the federal government is used to enslave us with little or no benefit to our state. As an example, in the year 2005, the most recent year statistics are available, for every dollar the State of Florida sent to the federal government, she received only ninety-seven cents in return.

On a personal level, that is over $7,500 for the almost 19,000,000 million citizens in our Great State. Therefore, we Floridians together, put our hard earned money into one collective pot and allow the political suits in a faraway place to send it back. However, we only receive if we beg; and then our money must be spent where we are told, as if we had not the intelligence to provide for our own States' needs. Is this freedom?

We say no thank you. Let us keep our money and spend it as we Floridians see fit.

Puritanism is the Reptile

Northern Democrats like Samuel "Sunset" Cox of Ohio were wise to the New England’s self-serving abolitionism, and saw them as the true cause of the war between North and South. With blind rage and hatred, the abolitionists and their radical Republican allies plunged the country into a war which killed a million Americans and cost a total of $8 billion including war loan interest and pensions, enough money to purchase the freedom of every slave in the South five times over and provide each with the legendary forty acres and a mule.

Bernhard Thuersam, Executive Director
Cape Fear Historical Institute
Post Office Box 328
Wilmington, NC 28402
www.CFHI.net

Puritanism is the Reptile:

“The results of Republican rule were clear, therefore. America would become an unacceptably restrictive society with a dominant, snooping, interfering government, forcing conformity to a narrow set of behavior patterns. “We think New England, when it tries to regulate the morals of the whole world, and prescribe them drink and diet…when preachers assume to be statesmen, and direct the affairs of the country, it is no wonder that the country goes rapidly to ruin and destruction…They are narrow and short sighted in their views, and they are intolerant, illiberal and cruel in their method of carrying them out.” Appearing before the Democratic Union Association in January 1863 in New York City, Congressman Samuel S. Cox (delivered a) speech entitled “Puritanism in Politics.”

“Puritanism is the reptile,” he began, “which has been boring into the mound which is the Constitution, and this Civil War comes in like the devouring sea.” The policies of the federal government were now dominated by the “arrogant, selfish, narrow and Puritan policy” of New England. This was not temporary. It was something “bred in the bone” thereof, and therefore harder to master. New England bigotry “ever strives to cure men’s morals by legal penalties.” Puritans could not leave anyone or any institution with which they disagreed alone. Rather than yield their demanded “censorship over the morals” of the South, they precipitated civil war. Their inflexible hatred and “insane propagandism” against slavery had led to war. Once war began they still could not leave anything be.

They were using the authority of the government to centralize power and make all others conform or be destroyed. “The miserable fanatics of 1691-2, who hunted out little girls and poor old men and tried them for witchcraft…have their imitators in the zealots of today---those minions of power who spy about to accuse and arrest those who differ with them in politics.” Their history is filled with “cruelties…practiced by the prejudiced dyspeptic Puritans…” They were zealots incapable of restraint, flexibility, or compromise, and in a pluralist society they were destroyers. This was the malignant force that had to be destroyed before the Union could be restored and the nation made free again.

Prolonged and loud cheering greeted Cox’s remarks in the hall. His words were a battle cry summarizing a belief that had shaped the Democratic creed for the past decade: the threat to individual and political liberties set by the meddling, interventionist, puritan fanatics now controlling the Republican party and who used the government to further their designs. The trouble with the Republican party, the New York World summed up, “is that it not only claims to discuss, but to decide, not only to tell a man that smoking is a nasty pernicious practice, but to knock the cigar out of his mouth.”

Obviously, if the Republicans continued in power they would ultimately destroy every shred of democratic choice and free behavior in the name of their conception of the right. That was the ultimate threat. As Vallandigham put it…If Lincoln is reelected, “our republican government is gone, gone, gone, and ere it is again revived we must pass through anarchy in its worst form.” But the Republicans did not care. “I believe old Lincoln feels as Sampson did at the gates of Gaza willing to destroy his country, his party, himself, (and) if he can, his opponents.”

The Anti-Federalist Papers - Errors and Omissions of Our Constitution

Via Billy

Rightfully so, most Americans in school learned of the Federalist Papers. These are the Antifederalist Papers which essentially were opposed to ratification of the Constitution in its present form at the time. You will be amazed at the wisdom and forsight of our Founders.

Don't we just lament today that our leaders are not only corrupt, but lack such dignified knowledge! I'm certain there are other Ron Pauls out there that are honorable and faithful. We must find them, encourage them, and support them. I found one such individual over 30 years ago in Schenectady, NY who would have been my candidate. But, in our morally crippled, uninformed electorate climate, the likelihood of his election would have been tenuous. Furthermore, he was frightful he may be corrupted and foresake his oath, losing faith in his redeemer. Precisely the character and reverence to God our country is screaming for!

Here's a glimpse at just one. The Index is listed afterwards. Carefully selected reading is the best method of self-education. Begin now.

Dayz – the first real survival game?

This week I spent some time playing what some people call the first real survival game on PC. Here is my short review of the game and what I like and what not. I’m not much into playing games but this game looked promising.

In this game, called Dayz, which is just extension of another game called Arma II: Combined Operations you have no goal but survive.

You start the game on a big map of 225 square kilometers with nothing, besides some basic bandages. No weapons or anything like that. The game is hard and more or less realistic. When you die you lose everything you collected.

Bad situation. To make things worse there are zombies at each settlement. So if you want to get anything and scavenge place you have to sneak past those zombies. Don’t stop reading now because you hear zombie. It could have been also gangs or anything else to make things a bit harder.

Confederate supporters protest flag removal at courthouse

Via Susan Frise Hathaway

fr confederate
A protest was held this week in front of the Haywood County historic courthouse by Confederate supporters who say their flag is being discriminated against.

For years, David Crook had been making monthly rounds past the Confederate Memorial on the lawn of the historic courthouse and tucking a tiny flag into the ground at its base. And for years, an anonymous person who felt the flag carried negative symbolism had been pulling them up.

“They kept disappearing,” said Thomas Shepard, whose own ancestors fought for the South. “So we kept replacing them.”

The flag tug-of-war gradually ramped up, with a new one being put down and pulled up almost daily.

The county was forced to wade into the fray in June, when a local attorney complained about the tiny flag display and asked the county to intervene.

“Personally, I have been more than uncomfortable with the flag’s presence on government property,” Waynesville Attorney Bob Clark wrote in an email to county commissioners. “Will you please take action, quietly and effectively, to stop the display of this divisive symbol?”

If the county won’t step in and stop the tiny flags from cropping up, then perhaps the commissioners should issue a public statement that they “support the flying of this symbol,” Clark suggested.

County Manager Marty Stamey talked the issue over informally with commissioners, and the next morning directed county maintenance workers to pull up the flags whenever they saw them. Stamey sent county maintenance workers an email asking them to keep an eye on the monument a couple of times during the day to monitor for the flag’s reappearance.

“Am I understanding correctly that you are requesting the Confederate Flag to be removed and not ever be placed back in front of the Confederate Monument?” County Maintenance Director Dale Burris wrote back to Stamey.

Obama White House told GSA to 'stand-down' on Occupy protesters

Via Don

Documents obtained by Judicial Watch confirm that somebody in the White House told officials with the General Services Administration (GSA) to "stand down" and not arrest Occupy Portland protestors who may have broken the law last year.

Former GSA Public Buildings Service Commissioner Robert Peck told a senior Department of Homeland Security official that the federal housekeeping agency had been instructed by the Obama White House to go easy on the Occupy protestors.

In a Nov. 6, 2011, DHS/National Protection and Programs Directorate Chief of Staff Caitlin Durkovich asked GSA's Peck if it was true that his agency had asked Federal Protective Service officials not to take action against the Occupy Portland protestors.

"Yes, that is our position," Peck responded. "It's been vetted with our Administrator and Michael Robertson, our chief of staff, and we have communicated with the WH [White House], which has afforded us the discretion to fashion our approach to Occupy issues...The arrests last week were carried out despite our request that the protesters [sic] be allowed to remain and to camp overnight..."

Personal Encryption Procedures
by: Ron Newman

It must be understood that anything that you can send to one person can usually be read, heard, or seen by at least one more person. The problem is what will they do with that information. If the information is unimportant or lacks any personal information the fact you sent it is still important to some one. So what can we do about it?

The art of hiding messages in other documents, photographs, or voice recordings is a log practised art form. In the medieval ages they tried everything to make the messages they sent by courier private. In some cases they wrote prose and poetry with certain letters in certain places that when removed in order and placed on another piece of paper would say something else entirely. The tried to write the messages in the border using lemon juice or vinegar so when it dried their was no message. Then when delivered the recipient could hold the paper Near an open flame and the message would appear. That is unless the message was kept too close to the couriers heart and his sweat washed out the juices.

In todays world they have many electronic and manual devices to do the same job. That these devices exist does not mean they are secure. If I use ABC Corporations encryption program who besides me has the software to decrypt the messages? This is a bug in the ointment. If a company makes encryption software there are two significant pieces of information I don't know.

1.Is there a part of the program which will decrypt my messages for the government without my permission that they were given so they can have a contract?

2.Is there a special decryption program written by the company just to break their encryption?
Is this paranoid? Probably, but live by the rule better safe than sorry. Specially when there is a way around the issue. It dates bay almost 200 tears and works as well as it did then. In fact it was used by the military in Vietnam and up until the advent of digital security devices was the back bone of all messages sent by electronics and manual means.

That is the use of the Tri-Graph and the Vernier. The tri-graph was incorporated into the onetime pads and Communications Electronics Operating Instructions the radio operators carried.

When use together the message encrypted by them will probably take the average of 24 to 48 hours to break using a high speed computer. When use separate the time is halved. So how can this be? Watch The Tri-Graph is simply a form for writing out your message and ploting the results.

each line holds 5 characters on three levels thus Tri-Graph. The top line is for your message in 5 letter groups so the character count is hidden. It is also easier for a Morse Code operator to send 5 letter groups.

The second line is for the encryption phrases to listed.

The third line is for the resultant of the two letters above to be found on the Vernier.

The vernier is a columnar listing of the alphabet both vertical and Horizontal.
These can be made on the spot or carried in a pouch. To create one start in column 1 first line with the letter “A”. Then write the alphabet from A to Z both Top to bottom and Left to right. The second line is B to A. Third line C to B, and so on till you have 26 character across and 26 charters down in 26 rows and 26 columns.

I have met Morse Operators in the Army who don't need the Vernier since they have memorized it. The vernier is not the code. The code is what goes on line 2. That is provided on a source sheet. In the teams it came on what was called 'One time pads”. They were generated back in garrison and each team had one that was theirs alone. If they needed to contact another team they had a special pad for that. These Pads were simply 100 characters in 5 letter groups on a 3 X 4 piece of paper with an accellerant in the paper to make them burn quickly.

Since I doubt we will ever get that sophisticated I will teach the back up communications means. If a team lost their pads or went missing at communications check in times over 2 hours all of their pads were considered compromised and they were considered captured or dead and the person sending was considered an enemy agent.

To re-establish their identity they had to make it back to civilization and make personal contact with a special greeting to ensure they were who they claimed to be. If this is not possible due to the fighting or physical distances there was a back up encryption they could use. The commander would place this back up sheet in the team folder in a sealed envelope signed on the flaps and seals by the team chief, radio man and the Commander.

This sheet was a phrase known only to the Team Chief, the Commander, and the Radio Operator. It was typed in 5 letter groups. It was from either a chapter of the Bible, the Constitution, or a page from the State Drivers license manual. Things that a soldier can have on their person and not attract attention if they are captured.

When used the radio Operator will use that document to re-establish their connection and to establish a face to face for new One time pads.

The one I remember is John 3:16. It is long enough to actually encrypt a message without repeating itself.
“For god so loved the world he gave his only begotten son” 45 characters Lets do one

Then you go to the Vernier you built and find the letter in line one on the vertical first column. Then scroll across to the letter on line two. The encrypted letter in on the top row. Write this below the two letter already entered. When

When writing a message there are no spaces except the 5 characters breaks. Thus when reading it out loud on a radio every thing is a letter only. When encrypting on the top line of the vernier you go to the bottom line for the top letter. This is because the physical vernier is on a round spool with no top and no bottom.

The POWs in the Hanoi Hilton used this type of encryption to tap messages on the pipes and bars that the guards could hear, but without the encryption key it was just unauthorized noise and the prisoner if caught had their hand cut off.

To decode the message find your letter on the top horizontal line. Come down to the decryption letter on the lines down and look to the left side for the answer. Just the reverse of the encoding. While this way takes some time and skill a person who uses this will soon be able to do the encryption from memorizing the Vernier.

The next trick is that you never send a message by itself. Most time you will by CSOI establish that 3 to 5 groups (always an odd number) of 5 random letters will inserted at the beginning, and or the end or both of all messages. This prevents their computers from knowing where to look for encrypted letters.

The next trick is that all messages will be sent in a preset format and only the data never the whole line is sent.

Such as :

WAR MSG
1.Time: 0030Z
2. DATE 01262012
3.MOVEMENT; TYPE 15
4.DIRECTION: 370 DEG
5.SPEED: 6KM

Your message would be :

These type of preset messages also make encryption much easier and save a lot of time sending when sending could collect an artillery response.

Remember that no communications means no resupply. However long winded communications could mean a body bag so every transmission should be from a different location and if possible from a high noise level to keep your radio in the mass.

UW Small-Unit Tactics, Part One: The Ambush

(In UW operations, ambushes may be directed against foot-mobile infantry elements or vehicle-mounted elements, in rural or built-up areas. Ambushes may be used against a specific enemy element, based on intelligence information that indicates when they will be in a specific location, against aggressor forces discovered in the infiltration phase by reconnaissance security patrols, or as a route interdiction method along probably or likely movement routes. Knowledge of how to plan, initiate, and execute a proper, effective ambush is a basic critical skill for any UW element (and no, it's really not as simple as, "let's hide in the bushes in a line, and shoot the fuck out of anyone who goes past!"). It will, in all likelihood, be the single most used combat patrol operation used by local defense forces in the coming troubles. --J.M.)

Next to the fundamental use of reconnaissance patrols for local area security, one of the most common applications of the patrol for UW elements is, and will be, the use of the ambush. An ambush can specifically be defined as a "surprise attack from a concealed position on a moving or temporarily halted target."

Ambushes are one of two primary reasons for a small-unit element to conduct a combat patrol. While raids, contrary to the theorization of many "experts" will have limited application in a true grid-down, TSHTF scenario (note I said limited application, not NO application. That's the subject of another article), the ambush, an action conducted as a surprise attack from a concealed position on a moving or temporarily halted target, has numerous applications. Ambushes are conventionally classified by category (hasty or deliberate), type (point or area), and formation (conventionally, these are limited to linear and l-shaped ambushes. Unconventionally, there are a LOT of different variations). UW leaders should use a combination of these three classifications to shape his planning. Fundamental considerations include:

The Revolutionary Dilemma

American Mercenary

VERBATIM POST

In a democratic nation a revolution by force of arms needs a few things to succeed. One, enough stratification of society to create a populace of malcontents who will support the revolutionaries. Two, enough fighters, leaders, and propaganda assets to win the war of public opinion with the rest of the population. Three, enough outside support that they can stay in the fight long enough for the legitimate government to quit the fight and cede the field. Fourth, a shadow government that can take hold. These don't exist in sequential order, they must all exist at the same time.

Our American Revolution had all these elements. The grievances against the Crown (real and imaginary) created a population with enough discontent to actively or passively support the fight for independence. The fighters themselves were passionate enough to give it the old college try. And our propaganda efforts in Europe brought support from France and gave legitimacy to the fledgling Colonial government. Our Continental Congress stood ready to take over.

My previous post about the "Tea Party" taking over Darlington, South Carolina, and the potential of an active military response to the such has struck a bit of a nerve with those who agree with the hypothetical revolutionaries. Wil even went so far as to quote the "Declaration of Independence" back to me. Over at the Small Wars Journal one of the responses was even to quote the British saying that they could rapidly put down the little insurrection once the arms were seized at Lexington.... Look folks, I don't disagree with you that the FedGov is a bloated hydra desperately needing to be pruned back, so keep that in mind.

The truth is that the Declaration of Independence is not the founding act of this nation, the surrender of Cornwallis is the founding act of this nation. Everything leading up to that point meant NOTHING without winning on the field of battle. And we couldn't have won on the field of battle without all the requisites of a successful revolution.

So, the real reason that the Tea Party won't seize the government of Darlington is that they can't win by doing so. You can't say "we uphold the Republic and the Constitution" by denying the legitimacy of a democratically elected local government. That is something that Communists or Fascists do, not Patriots.

No, if it came to a "revolution" in the US it will be a war of sniping, assassinations, retribution, night raids, and reprisal actions from both sides that will more resemble Northern Ireland than anything else. The FedGov will avoid using military assets for as long as possible in order to maintain a sense of legitimacy. The "Revolutionaries" will try to correct the political process by eliminating the threat by less legal means (through legitimate political action and quite likely the assassination/kidnapping very similar to the low level civil war in Iraq that we see).

The fact that long range sniping assassinations, car bombs, and political kidnapping isn't happening tells me that the "Tea Party" won't be seizing any local governments any time soon (although the SPLC will probably claim otherwise to try to con more money out of idiots). Matt Bracken has put more thought into this than most people, so his vision for the fall of America is probably a tad closer to how the future may play out.

Sugarloaf Mound

Sugarloaf Mound, also called the Sonotabac Prehistoric Indian Mound, is located in historic Vincennes. This mound is believed to be a naturally occurring hill that was used by Native Americans as both a religious and burial site. A shaft dug into the center of the mound revealed layers of bone fragments, ash, and clay.

Sugarloaf Indian Mound

Large picture

It is the 2nd tallest conical mound in North America...........photo does not do it justice........... Anyway, there is a hopewell observatory north of us I have driven to the top many times but have never climbed it, it is over 100 feet higher than sugarloaf so that’s next on my list of things to do..................wish I had a pic of it it has 13 mound rings with specific breaks in it that on each solstice the sun crosses in the breaks and aligns up with a mound 120 miles away. incredible what those ancient Indians could do huh? ........just wanted to write about something positive for a change.

GOP refuses to seat Maine delegation unless they agree to “Compromise”?

Thoughts? We are a representative republic based on the United States Constitution. We the People control our Liberty and limit our federal government. The Bill of Rights protects our natural laws under God. These statements are not supported by either Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. The process where the people vote in elections to choose a political party’s nominee(s) at a convention is broken. And yet we continue to participate in a system doomed to fail. And we attack anyone who points this fact out.

Where does this leave the United States? Dr. Paul is the “Constitutional” candidate. Any resistance to the elites’ chosen candidate will not be tolerated. In fact, it will be crushed as shown by this video and Newt Gingrich’s demise in the Florida primary. Whether this situation expands so that a brokered Republican convention will decide the GOP’s nominee is not the point. The point is that the presumed Republican nominee and the GOP will do anything to win the election. Mr. Romney has publicly stated that he will not follow the Constitution for declaring war and supporting the rights of the people guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. He developed the model for national health care and his position on abortion is uncertain. So we have a choice to make if the elites controlling our nation are successful.

1. We can sit at home and not participate.

2. We can reelect Barack Obama and allow the United States to collapse into Communism.

3. We can vote for Mitt Romney and take our chances with “the strongman” as outlined in the Road to Serfdom.

4. We can vote for another candidate who has no chance of winning the election: the protest vote.

Many readers are now thinking that these four options are not relevant if the elections are postponed or cancelled. That contingency will provide a completely different scenario with unintended consequences.

The only solution that will provide a future based in Liberty and our founding principles is a restoration of the Constitution and our founding principles. The first step is to admit the two party system has failed and to stop blindly accepting the crumbs of decaying freedom. Want proof? Both presumed nominees for the President of the United States have publicly vowed to circumvent the Constitution. There is no arguing this fact.

So what will you do? What will you do to fight for your country? When will you understand that the federal government is not the United States? When will you understand that “Liberty or Death” has two meanings: one for the patriot and one for the coward. There is no choice for me: I will not die because the loss of Liberty allowed “them” to come for me in the middle of the night. I will die for the restoration of Liberty. There should be no choice for any patriot.

Rape: Scenario from The Best Defense

Too often, we think of attacks on women as something that might happen out on some lonely road or a far off corner in a field. But these attacks can be set up in more public places. You need your awareness on a razor edge if you want to protect yourself against the predators. Once again, we look at the bad, the better and the best scenario.
