On Saturday the most notorious prisoner in the US prison system committed “suicide.”
Jeffrey Epstein was 66 at the time of his death.

Epstein was the highest profile prisoner in the US prison system.

On Tuesday the autopsy revealed Epstein suffered broken bones in his neck common inhomicide by strangulation.

G.K. Chesterton and Old Dixie

Before there was any New England in the North, there was something very like Old England in the South. Relatively speaking, there is still – G. K. Chesterton

Within Christian and conservative circles, the great English writer Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874-1936) is widely considered one of the most important authors of the Twentieth Century. As a poet, novelist, mystery writer, journalist and Christian apologist Chesterton excelled; presenting a formidable challenge to the encroaching progressivism and secularism to which the greater part of the English speaking world has succumb. In many ways Chesterton embodies the best of the conservatism of Edmund Burke together with the classical liberal democratic ideals of the old English Whigs. Among the pillars of the edifice constructed by Chesterton’s thought are: an emphasis on the classical Natural Law tradition, a tremendous respect for the old Roman Republic and civilization, and a devotion to orthodox/creedal Christianity.

Attorney General William Barr announced on Tuesday that the two guards who were tasked with watching jailed pedophile Jeffrey Epstein have been placed on administrative leave and the warden of the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in New York City was reassigned to the Northeast Region Office in Philadelphia. However, little is known about Lamine N’Diaye, including why he is still working for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Epstein His Connection to “The Club” of Manipulators

Ghislaine Maxwell was more than the alleged protector and procurer of young girls for Jeffrey Epstein as well as his girlfriend based upon allegations. However, she is also the daughter of Robert Maxwell who I believe was a member of “The Club.” Interestingly, Maxwell’s protege was also William Browder who loves to run around claiming he is the number one enemy
of Putin. While the prosecutor wants to charge Ghislaine with conspiracy, nobody knows where she is. That alone in today’s world seems unbelievable. Use a credit card or turn on your phone and they have you. You need cash and a burner phone just to start. Then you need fake passports for you to book a ticket in your name and they will be there when you land waiting with open arms.

Bond Market Not Signaling Recession, Say Experts

Despite good US economy, markets expect a more aggressive move by the Fed if global weakness and trade concerns persist

U.S. stocks dropped sharply on Aug. 14, as the bond markets signaled concerns about a possible recession with the yield curve inverting for the first time in 12 years. The inverted yield curve, however, isn’t an indicator of recession in the current market environment, according to experts.

Investors pushed the panic button after the main yield curve briefly inverted, meaning the yield on the closely watched 10-year U.S. Treasury bond fell below the yield on the two-year note for the first time since 2007.

When asked about his thoughts surrounding Epstein’s mysterious prison cell suicide, the bodyguard dropped a bombshell.
“Somebody helped him to do that,” he said.

A former bodyguard for millionaire Jeffrey Epstein warned a journalist not to ask too many questions, but not before revealing the financier’s mysterious death may be more than it seems.

Igor Zinoviev, a Soviet Russia-born MMA fighter, met Epstein through a mutual friend. Soon, the 6’1″ Russian fighter became the driver and personal bodyguard for Epstein.

In a recent cagey interview with New York Magazine, Zinoviev explained what his work with Epstein looked like. Most of it sounds like basic hired muscle work: protection, escorts and basic self-defense lessons.

But as the interview crossed over into covering recent events, Zinoviev seemed to clam up.

Worse Than Ever: Government Schools After 35 Years

As a semi-retired business writer who taught in Detroit 35 years ago, I returned to the classroom because a local high school was unable to replace a Latin teacher who had resigned.  I hold an advanced degree in medieval studies and renewed my certification to teach Latin, history, and social studies.  Once in class, I witnessed firsthand the politicized atmosphere of today’s factory-style government-monopoly schools.

My first exposure to school politics came when I renewed my certification.  The 1982 certificate only listed the courses I could teach.  In contrast, the 2018 version had a 300-word “Code of Ethics” that amounted to a profession of faith in collectivism, egalitarianism, state schools, and diversity (typically limited to superficial things like skin color and gender, not ideas).  Nonetheless, I proceeded, thinking that I couldn’t possibly make matters worse.  That much was correct.

Epstein Had Multiple Broken Bones In Neck, Common In Homicide By Strangulation, Experts Say

Jeffrey Epstein

An autopsy of convicted pedophile and alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein reportedly found that the wealthy financier had multiple broken bones in his neck which deepens the speculation surrounding his death last Saturday.

"Among the bones broken in Epstein's neck was the hyoid bone, which in men is near the Adam’s apple," The Washington Post reported. "Such breaks can occur in those who hang themselves, particularly if they are older, according to forensics experts and studies on the subject. But they are more common in victims of homicide by strangulation, the experts said."
