Chinese dissident Ai Weiwei, a famed artist and activist, warned Americans during an interview that aired late last week that they are already under the control of an authoritarian state, they just don’t realize it yet.

Weiwei said that the situation in China has become “more extreme, in terms of censorship, in terms of their tolerance to dissidents.” He later added that he was not hopeful for China’s future given the direction that China is going.

Later, when asked about authoritarianism in the U.S., Weiwei said “certainly, in the United States, with today’s condition, you can easily have an authoritarian.”

“In many ways, you’re already in the authoritarian state,” he said. “You just don’t know it.”

When asked how so, he responded, “Many things happening today in U.S. can be compared to Cultural Revolution in China.”

Alan Dershowitz: Kyle Rittenhouse Should Be Acquitted, Should Sue Media Outlets

Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz argued that Kyle Rittenhouse “should be acquitted” of killing two men and wounding a third during riots and protests last year in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and he should file defamation lawsuits against media outlets claiming he’s guilty.

“If I were a juror, I would vote that there was reasonable doubt [and] that he did act in self-defense,” Dershowitz told Newsmax on Saturday.

As of today, "officially," there have been 48 million Americans who contracted and survived Covid........ that is almost1/6 of the US population. 

 

These survivors, it turns out, are (except in the rarest of cases) immune from getting or giving the disease again in the future. Yet, OUR government (unlike some others in the world) does not acknowledge this and wants these survivors to pointlessly take a vaccination which poses a significant risk of harms, from the trivial to the fatal. They (our "rulers") simply do not care because they rode Covid's coat tails into political power in 2020 and have been milking it, with the help of the captured media, ever since.  For that reason, they will keep the fear of the pandemic going as long as humanly possible. 

 

The REAL purpose of the vaccine, given the way they are going about doing it, makes it appear that enforced compliance to illegal statist dictates is the real motivation. Another 55 million; i.e., those under the age of 18, will also be forced to take a vaccine for a disease which barely affects them. Some will even die from the vaccine and others will suffer health issues for the balance of their lives -- but again, if government can impose its will on parents, they impose their will on everyone. 

 

That this can happen in America, of all places,  just shows how far down the road toward totalitarianism we've traveled.  We are living in a situation which makes it classically clear that when it comes to Covid, we've reached the "cliche point" where the cure is worth than the disease. It is shocking there are so many Americans willing to trade their personal liberty for a little security.  Reminds me of the old Ben Franklin maxim....

 

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has quietly acknowledged that far more people have natural immunity than was earlier reported. The CDC quietly acknowledged that a staggering 146.6 million people have been infected by the Sars-CoV-2 virus and have survived it.

The CDC updated its May figures in October after declining to update the numbers for five months.
