Mark Meadows: FBI ‘Well Aware the Dossier Was a Lie’ Before Moving to Spy on Trump Campaign

A newly-uncovered document suggests that the Obama Department of Justice (DOJ), including the FBI, was “well aware” that foreign agent Christopher Steele was trying to interfere in the 2016 presidential election with disinformation — and yet still used his materials to spy on American citizens and the Trump campaign, according to Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC).

The trial of the Lincoln conspirators was labeled by Dave McGowan, whose material we have been quoting, as “one of the most sordid chapters of US history.

In an article I previously wrote several years back now and which is up on http://www.southernheritage411.com entitled The Hanging of Mary Surratt  I noted that “Reverdy Johnson, Mrs. Surratt’s first attorney, had contended that the military court that tried the conspirators was without proper authority to do so as long as the civil courts were sitting. This was something that was argued for nearly a century and I’ll bet you could still get a heated debate going about it in some circles.” My opinion at the time I wrote that agreed with Reverdy Johnson’s. It still does.

Dave McGowan, in Why Everything You Think You Know About The Lincoln Assassination Is Wrong  went into some detail about all this.

Data Shows Schools with Armed Teachers Are Remarkably Safe

While details are still emerging about a shooting at a Colorado school this week that left at least one dead and eight others injured, the debate over school safety is already heating up.

In predictable fashion, folks on either side of the gun divide are rehashing their solutions on how best to protect school children. One of the more controversial suggestions, as you know, is arming teachers.

Defensive Shooters Hit Probability

Novice Shooter: 39 percent hit probability
Intermediate Shooter: 48 percent hit probability
Expert Shooter: 49 percent hit probability

Every defensive gun use situation is different. Millions of variables to consider, everything from the distance to target, number of attackers, caliber of weapon to the expertise of the shooter, etc. etc., etc., all play a factor. Trying to prescribe a universal round count, a one-size-fits-all for every concealed carrier, is, therefore, a fool’s errand. Telling you that you need “x” number does you no good because you may only need “y” or you may actually need “z.” You won’t know until the threat is eliminated.

Houston Pastor, Wife Shoot and Kill Home Intruder

If 24-year-old Roberto Sanchez thought hitting a pastor’s home in suburban Houston would make an easy score, he discovered his mistake far too late.

Local media reports that United Methodist Church Rev. Jeff Powers and his wife Julie were awakened just before midnight on Saturday by a loud noise coming from their back yard. Going to investigate, they noticed their gate was open and saw someone creeping through their yard.

Both husband and wife retrieved their firearms while “the suspect forced his way and gained entry into the residence,” according to a police report.

That’s when the couple opened fire.
