Suspect shot, killed by victim in attempted robbery

Police say an attempted robbery turned deadly when the victim pulled out a gun and opened fire on the suspect.

The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Rising Sun and Wyoming Avenues in Philadelphia's Feltonville section.

Nearly 40 shots were fired around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday when an armed man attempted to rob two men who were walking to their car. One robbery target grabbed his gun and a shootout ensued that saw 37 shots fired.

The Book that Trayvon's Parents Should Write

"Trayvon Martin's Parents Are Planning a Book" -- so reads the headline of a gentle December 13 article in the New York Times.  The Times obviously found it newsworthy that the parents of the slain teen, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, met with publishing executives this week to shop a book about their son.

Reporter Julie Bosman wrote in hushed tones about "the somber and moving meeting" the parents had with their agent and several publishers.  Although "faith" will be a central element of the book, Bosman acknowledged that it "has the potential to attract major media attention, especially on cable television, which exhaustively covered the fatal shooting and subsequent trial."

I read this story with particular interest, as those same cable channels have had less than zero interest in the honest account I wrote about the Zimmerman case, If I Had A Son: Race, Guns, and the Railroading of George Zimmerman.

I suspect that Juror B37 would read this story with interest as well.  In the aftermath of the trial, the female juror contracted with a Seattle literary agent who specializes in books about controversial trials.  Within one day of this contract becoming news, however, the agent rescinded her offer "after careful consideration."

What prompted the reconsideration was almost assuredly fear.

'Most outrageous violation of constitutional rights in American history'

Fresh from winning a restraining order against the National Security Agency’s telephone surveillance, attorney Larry Klayman declared that the misdeeds of Richard Nixon, who resigned in disgrace, pale in comparison to President Obama’s.

“In Watergate, Richard Nixon faced impeachment for breaking into the offices of the chairman of the Democratic National Party,” Klayman told WND in an interview.

“Obama has broken into the homes of 300 million Americans.”

WND asked Klayman if he was calling for the impeachment of Obama.

“Yes,” Klayman responded. “The NSA and the Obama administration are engaging in criminal behavior, and both are lying.”

Washington Drives the World Toward War

Via Wes

Washington has had the US at war for 12 years: Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, and almost Syria, which could still happen, with Iran waiting in the wings. These wars have been expensive in terms of money, prestige, and deaths and injuries of both US soldiers and the attacked civilian populations. None of these wars appears to have any compelling reason or justifiable explanation. The wars have been important to the profits of the military/security complex. The wars have provided cover for the construction of a Stasi police state in America, and the wars have served Israel’s interest by removing obstacles to Israel’s annexation of the entire West Bank and southern Lebanon.

As costly and destructive as these wars have been, they are far below the level of a world war, much less a world war against nuclear armed opponents.

The fatal war for humanity is the war with Russia and China toward which Washington is driving the US and Washington’s NATO and Asian puppet states. There are a number of factors contributing to Washington’s drive toward the final war, but the overarching one is the doctrine of American exceptionalism.

Loretta Fuddy Narrative Falls Apart

In the irony to end all ironies the L.A. Times published an article entitled Hawaii plane crash fuels Obama ‘birther’ theories, on December 12th, and within the context of that article may have spilled the beans on why “birthers” should be questioning this story.

On the 13th I reported that Loretta Fuddy was the woman who was responsible for the release of Barack Obama’s long-form Hawaii birth certificate. Of the 9 people on the Cessna that crash landed in open water, she was the only one who died. Is it coincidence?

The L.A. Times reports:

Fuddy, 65, was among nine people in a Cessna that crashed into the ocean Wednesday, shortly after leaving Kalaupapa Airport on the island of Molokai about 3:15 p.m. The eight others on the plane, including the pilot, were rescued, but Fuddy “remained in the fuselage of the plane,” Honolulu Fire Capt. Terry Seelig told KHON-TV. “It’s always a difficult situation when you’re not able to get everybody out.”

Why is this paragraph important?

Simply because it contradicts everything that we have been told.

“Duck Dynasty” star skipped Barbara Walters’ ‘Most Fascinating’ interview to go hunting

For Phil Robertson, ducks always come first.

That’s why the “Duck Dynasty” star skipped out on meeting with Barbara Walters for her “Most Fascinating People of 2013” special, according to his wife Miss Kay, who sat down with Walters in his place.

“Tell him I have never been superseded by a duck before,” Walters quipped during the special, according to a transcript of the interview obtained by FOX411. The special will air Wednesday on ABC.

Illegal Alien & Convicted Felon Freed Twice By Feds After Seeking Asylum Both Times

If there was ever any doubt to the lack of competency of our federal government the case of Jessica Martinez should lay all doubts to rest and prove that they are totally incompetent in protecting Americans.

Martinez and her husband Juan Veliz were illegals from El Salvador and they had five kids.  Apparently, in 2003, the couple used a stolen identity to apply for Social Security benefits, food stamps and any other government handout they could get.  In 2004, the couple were caught and arrested.  Police charged them with identify theft.  They were first sent to jail and then given three years of felony probation.

Veliz was deported back to El Salvador, but Martinez managed to stay in the US, seeking asylum.  She claimed that she would be killed if she was deported back to her country and that she was a crime victim and not a criminal.  While her asylum request was being processed, she was released back into the general population.

Not long afterward, Martinez was arrested and convicted of another felony, grand theft, for her part in a real estate scam.  Her original asylum request was still pending, so the Department of Homeland Security once again released her to walk the streets.  In keeping with her criminal record, Martinez had several more scrapes with the law, but was always allowed to walk free because of her request for asylum.

Common Core on the Ropes

As more parents, educators, and policy makers find out the truth about the Common Core, freedom-loving Americans are pushing back against this latest top-down boondoggle to “reform” education.

As 2013 draws to a close, the once rosy prospects for the Common Core have dimmed. What in May the New York Times editorial board called “a once-in-a-generation opportunity” and what U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan said in June “may prove to be the single greatest thing to happen to public education in America since Brown v. Board of Education” is now in trouble across the nation.

Who is responsible for this stunning turn of events? Homeschool, private school, and public school parents who have refused to allow math and English language arts standards, drafted by education bureaucrats in Washington, to be shoved down their children’s throats.

MORE ARMED CITIZENS EQUALS FEWER DEAD COPS? Data suggests that an armed society is a safer society for law enforcement officers, too

In the wake of the gun control push that began after Sandy Hook, Americans purchased more firearms and ammunition in 2013 than in any given year in history. The super-majority of these firearms were semi-automatic pistols, followed by modern sporting rifles such as the AR-15 and AKs.

According to citizen control advocates that like to falsely equate more guns with more violence, this year should have been a bloodbath for everyone, including law enforcement officers.
Instead, police are on pace for the lowest officer death rate in a over century.

Progressive propaganda outlet freaks out when politician mentions actual purpose of Second Amendment in passing

My third great grandfather was an Ensign in the Revolutionary War, and saved the flag at the Battle of Brandywine.

There are few things that scare the citizen control movement more than those individuals that dare remind the citizenry that the primary purpose of the Second Amendment isn’t about hunting or even defending your home from criminals, but defending your community against tyrants, both foreign and domestic… even if that comment is made in passing.

Think Progress’s Ian Millhiser is the latest dainty progressive to take to his fainting couch over someone stating the obvious:
During an interview with a conservative podcast, New Hampshire state Rep. JR Hoell (R) predicted that a day may soon come when conservatives need to rise up in armed resistance to their elected government.
If you listen to the actual audio Hoell doesn’t mention anything at all about “conservatives” rising up in armed resistance to the government at all. Millhiser is being purposefully dishonest.

The Worst President for the Black Community Since Reconstruction

During MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry Show on Sunday, Republican strategist Ron Christie erupted at a fellow panelist when the issue of race surfaced. The discussion (originally on the power and influence of the tea party) quickly became heated as the African-American Republican strongly objected to the notion that racism has been an “influencing factor” in the conservative movement.

Proving that the Liberal charge of “racism” is generally an ideological-crutch to facilitate a speedy end to debate, the point was made on the racially-obsessed MSNBC show that racism has been an influencing factor in the tea-party’s opposition to President Barack Obama. The video, if you can watch it without breaking your computer screen, is worth the few minutes you can bear.

Harvard Professor wants to annihilate the White Race

Via Nancy

Scott Roberts exposes Harvard academic, Dr. Noah Ignatiev, a Jewish supremacist who openly sought the destruction of the White race. His call for the genocide of Whites is a thinly veiled demand for the annihilation of a basic human right--that of cultural identity--by minimizing his target with his euphemism, "concept of whiteness". Ignatiev uses his position as a Harvard academic to "educate" students about White people as a whole using violent images and words such as "genocide", "destroy", "abolish", and "treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity". Excellent video from early 2008

The addition of Megyn Kelly to primetime has been a boon for Roger Ailes and company, with Kelly up 23% in total viewers in the timeslot.

Global warming? Satellite data shows Arctic sea ice coverage up 50 percent!

Global warming? Satellite data shows Arctic sea ice coverage up 50 percent!

It was only five years ago in December that Al Gore claimed that the polar ice caps would be completely melted by now. But he might be surprised to find out that Arctic ice coverage is up 50 percent this year from 2012 levels.

“Some of the models suggest that there is a 75 percent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during some of the summer months, could be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years,” Gore said in 2008.

If America is so bad, blacks – why stay? Mychal Massie suggest Liberia for nonstop complainers

A fact in retail is that there ultimately comes a time when you are unable to satisfy a customer who insists on being irrational and/or is unwilling to accept what is being done for him or what is being offered to him. When you have exhausted all efforts to accommodate said customer, you apologize and politely offer that it is apparent, despite your best efforts, that you are unable to satisfy him. And you suggest that perhaps his or her interests would be best served elsewhere.

Two articles I wrote about this past week caused me to consider the aforementioned. The first piece was titled, “Black athletes not taught to put education first.” The second piece I wrote was titled, “Why is Santa white? Who cares?” One was written in response to an article by Ann Killion and Nanette Asimov who opined about the poor graduation rates of black athletes at Cal Berkeley (“Cal graduation rates divided along racial lines,” Nov. 26, 2013). The other was in response to Curtis Sails III, teacher from Milwaukee (whom I would call a raconteur lacking in both wit and skill). Sails wrote one of the most specious pieces of betise I have read since “Christianity, Islam, and the Negro race,” written by Edward Wilmont Blydon in 1887. In that epic piece of flawed supposition, Blydon argued Islam was better for Africans than Christianity.

Which brings me to the question: What else can be done to satisfy angry black militants and those who claim continued dissatisfaction and contempt for the America you and I love?

Is Putin One of Us?

Via Ryan

Is Vladimir Putin a paleoconservative?

In the culture war for mankind’s future, is he one of us?

While such a question may be blasphemous in Western circles, consider the content of the Russian president’s state of the nation address.

With America clearly in mind, Putin declared, “In many countries today, moral and ethical norms are being reconsidered.”

“They’re now requiring not only the proper acknowledgment of freedom of conscience, political views and private life, but also the mandatory acknowledgment of the equality of good and evil.”

Translation: While privacy and freedom of thought, religion and speech are cherished rights, to equate traditional marriage and same-sex marriage is to equate good with evil.

No moral confusion here, this is moral clarity, agree or disagree.

The United States is still under military rule, which is the very reason that martial law can still be declared with the stroke of a presidential pen, just as Abraham Lincoln first penned it in 1861. If a state were to attempt to succeed from the "union" today, martial law would be declared and military rule would ensue until the rebellion could be squashed, no different than it was then.

art-link-symbol-small-rev01.jpg Mandela's South Africa - We are not told that the nation now boasts the world’s highest per-capita rate of rape, highest total number of HIV infections, and a per-capita murder rate seven times that of the USA. We don't hear the merest suggestion that South Africa is likely only a decade or two away from becoming Zimbabwe. Instead, we get Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey creaming their jeans over His Holiness. And at the very end, we see children's choirs in South Africa and New York City singing a version of John Lennon's "Imagine." The final frames show a black boy hitting sour notes as he sings the line "And the world shall live as one," says Jim Goad in this article, Mandela: What the Obits Omit, at Taki's Magazine.

Tens of thousands of seats in the venue, the FNB football stadium in Johannesburg, remained empty throughout five hours of eulogy. Even at the height of the service, only two thirds of seats were taken, a major embarrassment for the government of South Africa ... The memorial service was also marked by a noticeable lack of white participants, denting South Africa’s claim to be a fully integrated 'Rainbow Nation'.

For all of his adult life, Nelson Mandela was outspoken about his core beliefs. For most of them, he was a Marxist revolutionary, committed to the violent overthrow of his government. Obama, on the other hand, has never been candid with us about his past associations or activities... And the less said about his communist and terrorist associations back then, the better.

In Western multiracial societies, whites are the wimps. Every other race asserts itself, lobbies, agitates, makes demands, and is given quotas, preferences, and privileges. Only whites cringe, defer, and grovel. It is natural to feel contempt for people who are so ashamed of their ancestors and of their own existence.

With traitorous leaders like John Boehner and Eric Kantor, the House Republican "leadership" has far more in common with Obama than with the Republicans they nominally represent. They will "capitulate" on immigration too if they think they can get away with it and still preserve their political careers. The US political system has completely failed.
