Virginia’s Effort to Abolish the Slave Trade

In the first Congress under the United States  Constitution, Josiah Parker of Virginia attempted to insert a clause in the Tariff Bill to levy a ten dollar tax on every slave brought into this country on foreign ships, and especially those of New England.  Parker was supported in this by two other Virginians, Theodoric Bland and James Madison.  In a March 1790 Virginia petition to Congress, the slave trade was denounced as “an outrageous violation of one of the most essential rights of human nature.”

The Republican Civil War Trump-hating RINOs must be purged & O'Sullivan's Law

Via David

McConnell must go—as well as the Judas 7 and the ten House Republicans who voted to impeach. They have shown themselves to be not only disloyal, but vindictive and malicious. They have put their personal hatred, greed and slavish obedience to their financial, globalist masters above their party, country and oath to uphold the Constitution. They are traitors. And they no longer deserve to be Republicans.

The GOP establishment has declared war on former President Trump and his supporters.

The decision to impeach Trump by RINO Republicans reveals a deep chasm that cannot be bridged. The party is being torn apart as its globalist elites seek to wrestle control away from the rank-and-file Trump patriots.

Led by Rep. Liz Cheney, ten House Republicans voted to impeach Trump for allegedly inciting “an insurrection” on Jan. 6, when several hundred rioters stormed the Capitol building. In the sham Senate trial, seven Republicans—the Judas 7—joined 50 Democrats to convict private citizen Trump. The final vote, 57-43, resulted in his acquittal. The House impeachment managers failed to get the 67 votes, a two-thirds majority, needed for a conviction.

O’Sullivan’s Law states that any organization or enterprise that is not expressly right wing will become left wing over time. The law is named after British journalist John O’Sullivan.

Television shows are the best examples of this. 24, House. Charitable foundations are worse but harder to see.

One of the reasons for this is leftist intolerance versus right-wing tolerance. Right wingers are willing to hire openly left-wing employees in the interest of fairness. Left-wingers, utterly intolerant, will not allow a non-Liberal near them, and will harass them at every opportunity. The result over time is that conservative enterprises are infiltrated by leftists but leftist enterprises remain the same or get worse.

Nearly one-third of Americans want to break up U.S. into like-minded countries Half of Republicans in South ready to secede

The divide between Americans seems to be widening in recent years, and the political schism doesn't appear to be narrowing any time soon. The major partisan divide in the country has gotten to the point that many Americans have contemplated a national divorce because they believe there are far too many ideological differences to bridge the line of demarcation.

Biden dismisses Uighur genocide as part of China’s ‘different norms’

Via John "It is quickly becoming obvious, we need a magical elixir to put Trump and Pompeo back in office ASAP, or our own USSA "cultural norms" will be altered to be completely indifferent to the growing "cancel culture" here - which constitutes a form of 'soft internment' just lacking the electrified fences, blindfolds and forced slave labor - at least for now.  We are in danger of  becoming China under Xiden's diktats, as our personal rights and liberty are increasingly constrained and eroded. If you think that is hyperbolic demagoguery, check back with me in a couple of years. OK?Any person with a child, a niece or nephew (am I allowed to say that?), grandchildren, need to stand up now and reject the USSA and do what is needed to be done to restore the USA, the former Land of the Free.  It will be a long way back, but take heart, is CAN be done, if we reject division and recognize our common humanity and destiny"

President Biden is dismissing the genocide against the Uighur population in China, dubbing the mass internment a “different norm” — despite the State Department this month responding to “atrocities” in the camps, following reports of systemic rape and torture.

The commander-in-chief made the remarks after being asked during his CNN town hall Tuesday evening about his recent conversation with his Chinese counterpart, starting his response by relaying Xi’s justification for the abuses.

“If you know anything about Chinese history, it has always been, the time when China has been victimized by the outer world is when they haven’t been unified at home,” Biden began. “So the central — well, vastly overstated — the central principle of Xi Jinping is that there must be a united, tightly controlled China. And he uses his rationale for the things he does based on that.”

Data Shows Wind-Power Was Chief Culprit Of Texas Grid Collapse

 Via 4Branch

The folly of chasing renewable energy as a means of mitigating “climate change” is making itself abundantly clear today in Texas. When will politicians wake up and realize that renewable energy almost always equates to unreliable energy?

With the worst of the Texas power crisis now behind us, the blame and fingerpointing begins, and while the jury is still out whose actions (or lack thereof) may have led to the deadly and widespread blackouts that shocked Texas this week, Cascend Strategy writes that "in case there was any doubt why the Texas grid collapsed, the data is clear"

  • Wind failed as “Ice storms knocked out nearly half the wind-power generating capacity of Texas on Sunday as a massive deep freeze across the state locked up wind turbine generators, creating an electricity generation crisis."

  • Natural gas made up the difference for a while

  • But then everything else followed down

U.S. Will Reach Herd Immunity For COVID-19 By April, Johns Hopkins Doctor Says: "Scientists shouldn’t try to manipulate the public by hiding the truth."

 coronavirus,3d render

Dr. Marty Makary, a professor at the renowned Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, on Friday sent shockwaves through the medical community in a Wall Street Journal piece headlined, “We’ll Have Herd Immunity by April.”

“There is reason to think the country is racing toward an extremely low level of infection,” Makary writes. “As more people have been infected, most of whom have mild or no symptoms, there are fewer Americans left to be infected. At the current trajectory, I expect Covid will be mostly gone by April, allowing Americans to resume normal life.”
