Anniston places 2 police officers on leave, allegations of hate group membership

The City of Anniston has placed two police officers on administrative leave over allegations that the two belong to hate groups.

The Southern Poverty Law Center Wednesday posted on its Hatewatch blog an article alleging that Lt. Josh Doggrell and Lt. Wayne Brown had ties to the League of the South, an organization the SPLC termed as "neo-confederate."

The SPLC identifies the term as meaning groups that advocate "traditional gender roles, ... hostile towards democracy, strongly opposes homosexuality, and exhibits an understanding of race that favors segregation and suggests white supremacy."

In a statement this afternoon, the city announced the two were being placed on leave.

Aziza Jackson, a spokeswoman for the city, said she did not know if the two were on paid or unpaid administrative leave.

"After being made aware of the Wednesday, June 17 article by the SPLC, the City of Anniston is taking the allegations made against Lt. Brown and Lt. Doggrell very seriously and have placed both officers on administrative leave," the statement reads.

Ukraine v Rebels

Via u_96

After dark on June 16 (2015), the Ukrainian side has again started firing positions and frontline base of international brigade "tag" (the Republican Guard DNI) - First, small arms, and then 82 mm. later 120 mm. mortars. Fighters "Fifteen" for some time on the orders of the command did not open fire in response, but in the end were forced to join the battle, which lasted with varying intensity throughout the night. In the morning APU attempted to come close to one of the "Fifteen" (probably it was a "reconnaissance in force") - but they were already a few dozen meters from the trenches were immediately thrown back. It should be noted - that this time "tag" is not used in response to mortars.

The video depicts a small part of the battle is already morning (I moved to the front as soon as was possible shooting) - somewhere between 4 and 5 o'clock. At this time, the APU managed large-incendiary rounds set fire to the main house with the location of "Fifteen". As a result of many hours of battle at Brigade only one badly wounded in the neck - and not from the weapons of the Ukrainian side, and by breaking the shutter old (1942) anti-tank rifle Degtyareva (PTRD). He was quickly taken to the hospital, the doctors said - will live.

Cincinnati Ohio – Perpetually Aggrieved Target Another Pool Incident To Claim Police Abuse….

Before getting to the latest updates, which include the family claims of being abused by the police, here is the original media report to include the 911 calls and CCTV video of the events.

Of course the professionally aggrieved see this incident as excessive police brutality.

Family claims police used excessive force in Fairfield pool incident” – FAIRFIELD —Police said it was a case of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at a Fairfield city pool. Bishop Bobby Hilton said it was the police who were out of order. Both are using the same video to illustrate their point.

WACO II police continue to lie about what happened before during and after the Twin Peaks Massacre on May 17.

 http://www.agingrebel.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/stop-liess..jpg

In a written statement issued last Friday, June 12, police announced: “There were 16 uniformed Waco Police Department Officers to include 5 Supervisors (3 Sergeants, 1 Commander and an Assistant Chief). Included in that number was a Tactical Element (SWAT Officers) assigned and present. None of the Officers were assigned in a sniper capacity and all Officers were in their vehicles at the time the suspects began the shooting.

Those Officers were stationed in the parking lots adjacent to the Twin Peaks and were visible to patrons entering the Twin Peaks parking lot. There were 6 marked Waco Police units and 4 unmarked Waco Police vehicles. This does not include DPS vehicles. There were also Texas Department of Public Safety Officers assigned to the event as well.”

The press release is disingenuous and forces the public to calculate the Waco Department’s lies of omission. The  carefully worded statement refers to Texas Department of Public Safety officers but declines to specify how many of them were there or why. Although there were agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on scene, the official statement ignores them. It also declines to count undercover police officers on scene. In an earlier statement, spokesman W. Patrick Swanton flatly stated that there were “no undercover” police on scene.

GRNC Alert: Will Republicans Protect Your Health Care Privacy?

After the shameless selling out that the majority of so-called “conservatives” took part in yesterday, we are DEMANDING at the very least, that House Republicans protect what is left of our privacy by RETURNING THE MEDICAL PRIVACY PROVISION BACK INTO THE BILL! Your annual physical is the last place that you should have to care about debating 2nd amendment freedoms. Our general physicians are no authority on guns and have no business discussing it any more than they do asking how we spend our free time, money, and what we watch on TV.

Most all of them looked you in the face and PROMISED uncompromising support of 2nd Amendment rights and wanting to believe it was possible that they would take a stand for liberty, we voted for them.

This afternoon, the debate on what is left of the withered HB562 will ensue. We are still fighting for every inch possible and we are far from done but we need you now!

Nice picture, Commander Clary -- General Lee would be sooooo proud.

RESOLUTION

NOW we see why it's called the Virginia DIVISION...

The recent resolution of the Division's Executive Council is one of the most ham-fisted and puerile attempts at self-glorification and petty jealousy to come down the Southern heritage pike in ages. Looking at the pics of their officers on the Division website, you see mature males. But this resolution sounds like the work of a clique of high school girls who've  been shown up by a rival clique.

Yes, our movement, our Southern heritage community, is beset by squabbling, by turf wars, by my-way-or-the-highway thinking, but this resolution has to take the cake.

So you folks in the Virginia Division are part of a "gentleman's organization" charged with emulating the virtues of your forefathers? And  you conduct yourselves at all times as gentlemen? And you emulate the character and behavior of Robert E. Lee, Thomas J. Jackson, J. E. B. Stuart, et al.?

What a load of crap. Y'all don't throw your shoulders out of joint patting yourselves on your own backs.

Prisons Without Walls: We’re All Inmates in the American Police State

http://www.entrynews.com/image/article/6/6/8/668.jpeg
“It is perfectly possible for a man to be out of prison and yet not free—to be under no physical constraint and yet be a psychological captive, compelled to think, feel and act as the representatives of the national state, or of some private interest within the nation wants him to think, feel and act. . . . To him the walls of his prison are invisible and he believes himself to be free.”—Aldous Huxley, A Brave New World Revisited
Free worlders” is prison slang for those who are not incarcerated behind prison walls.  Supposedly, those fortunate souls live in the “free world.” However, appearances can be deceiving.

“As I got closer to retiring from the Federal Bureau of Prisons,” writes former prison employee Marlon Brock, “it began to dawn on me that the security practices we used in the prison system were being implemented outside those walls.” In fact, if Brock is right, then we “free worlders” do live in a prison—albeit, one without visible walls.

Why the Bear is Back: Russian Military Presence in Vietnam

 Russian Navy

Russia-Vietnam ties that seemed to be cooling after the end of the Cold War are warming up all over again. More than 20 years after Moscow abandoned its largest foreign base, Russian military aircraft are once again welcome visitors at Cam Ranh Bay.

The renewed Russian presence in Vietnam has predictably set the alarm bells ringing in the Pentagon, with the Commander of the US Army in the Pacific confirming that Russian strategic bombers circling the massive American military base in Guam are being refuelled at Cam Ranh Bay.

On March 11 Washington wrote to Hanoi, requesting that the Vietnamese authorities not assist Russian bomber flights in the Asia-Pacific. The Vietnamese reaction was to remain publicly silent. According to Phuong Nguyen of the Washington-based Center for Strategic & International Studies,
“From the perspective of many Vietnamese officials who fought against the United States during the war, Moscow helped train generations of Vietnamese leaders and supported Hanoi during its decades of international isolation.”
Nguyen adds:
“Few things are more vital to Vietnam than an independent foreign policy. Given Vietnam’s complex history, its leaders do not want their country to be caught between major powers again. Anything that resembles U.S. interference in Vietnam’s dealings with Russia could unnecessarily aggravate this fear.”
Although the Vietnamese consider the US an increasingly important partner in Southeast Asia, it’s Russia that tops the pecking order. A per an agreement inked in November 2014, Russian warships visiting the deep water port of Cam Ranh only have to give prior notice to the Vietnamese authorities before steaming in whereas all other foreign navies are limited to just one annual ship visit to Vietnamese ports.

U.S. Government Caught Supplying Highly Sophisticated Heavy Artillery and Weaponry to ISIS via CIA Classified Program

 ISIS with US Weapons 1

Some parts of the latest propaganda video of ISIS published today shows ISIS using U.S. TOW anti-tank missiles during the capture of the Syrian town of Palmyra last month.

Abu Malik Tamimi, the ISIS commander in the video, addresses his fellow terrorists in Arabic, while showing ISIS using Tanks, Rocket launchers, Howitzers and other heavy weaponry in their attack on the town.

The TOW makes its debut appearance in the video. Presumably, most of these weapons have been obtained by ISIS in their victories against U.S.-backed so-called “Moderate rebels” of  Syrian terrorist groups.

It is clear that the capture and use of the CIA-provided TOW missiles by Jabhat al-Nusra are also in the hands of ISIS.

Additionally, it is also clear that both Al-Qaeda and ISIS are using TOW missiles that have been provided to U.S.-backed “so-called moderate” groups.

Military Vet Threatened by City for Living Off the Grid

Via comment by Anonymous on The Last Rebels: 25 Things We Did as Kids That Wou...

Tyler Truitt lives with his girlfriend on his private, two-acre property in Huntsville, Alabama. They live a "self-sustaining" lifestyle with a trailer, solar panels, and a rainwater system and are not connected to any utilities. The city has condemned his home and threatened arrest if they remain on the property in its current condition.

"We live out here off the grid, 100 percent self-sustaining,” the military vet explained. “So I basically made all my utilities. I have my solar panels, I have my rainwater collection and stuff.”

In response to the threats leveled by the city, Truitt said: “You have to stand up for what you believe in. They could come out here today if they wanted to and take us to jail for trespassing, if that’s what they want to call it… that’d be fine with me. I’ll still come back the next day and the next day and the next day because it’s my home and because I live here. Where else am I supposed to go, really?”

Black Mob Violence In Swimming Pools. A Long History

The Washington Post wasted no time in explaining why 200 black people at a private pool in McKinney, Texas attacked members of the club, bullied their children, destroyed their property, and assaulted their security guard when he invited them to leave.

White racism.

“America’s swimming pools have a long, sad, racist history,” intoned the Post a few days after the now infamous episode of aquatic black mob violence. “They’ve long been contested spaces where we express prejudices that otherwise remain unspoken.”

The Post columnist, Jeff Wiltse, knows all about that because of all the bad things that happened 80-90 years ago when then, as now, black people were inexorable victims of relentless white racism all the time, everywhere and that explained everything.

A Potential Rationale for Supporting Donald Trump

 http://cbsnews1.cbsistatic.com/hub/i/2011/02/10/873e9331-a644-11e2-a3f0-029118418759/donald_trump_108984675_1.jpg

Trump is a mixed bag on the issues, but I find myself drawn to the guy’s candidacy for reasons that are hard to articulate. As an outside the mainstream voter, I might support a candidate because that candidate is the closest to me ideologically, and I want to send an ideological message. This is why I supported Ron Paul. Or I could support a candidate because I believe that candidate has the most potential to do real damage to the enemy, in my case the current ruling bipartisan regime. I am not endorsing Trump at this point, but if I were to support him it would be for the latter reason.

Erick Erickson explains my potential rationale very well here, although I don’t think he is condoning it. Trump’s campaign potentially represents the best way to poke a big ol’ thumb in the eye of the Powers That Be.
