Boeing's concept aircraft will eventually be used for covert reconnaissance and airborne assault

The incredible spy plane concept teases a terrifying future where war planes could attack locations and then retreat in the blink of an eye

Boeing has finally unveiled a successor to the legendary Blackbird SR-71 spy plane, capable of travelling at five times the speed of sound.

The new 'Son of Blackbird' was revealed at an event in Orlando, Florida, but it's only a concept design for now.

The new aircraft will be a direct competitor to Lockheed martin's upcoming SR-72.

These rival firms are racing to create a hypersonic aircraft that's capable of stealthy recon assignments – and strike missions, too.

FBI Probe Into Russian Uranium Bribes Concealed By Obama DOJ; Mueller, McCabe, Rosenstein Involved

 asdasd

Friday's 11-count indictment of former uranium transportation company executive, Mark Lambert, was the latest in a series of DOJ prosecutions involving individuals linked to the Russian nuclear industry and the Uranium One deal.

Mark LambertAccording to the indictment, Lambert and others at Transport Logistics International (TLI) engaged in several counts of bribery, kickbacks and money laundering with Russian nuclear official Vadim Mikerin, in order to secure business advantages with TENEX - a subsidiary of Rosatom, the Kremlin's state-owned energy company which bought Uranium One.

TLI would have ostensibly transported all of the uranium from the U1 deal, were it not for an FBI undercover mole buried deep within the Russian nuclear industry who gathered extensive evidence of corruption.

What many don't realize is that Lambert's Friday indictment is not the first linked to the Uranium One deal.

The Elite vs. The Deplorables

We never hear comments like these made by the late President John F. Kennedy: “… the South is the land of Washington, who made our Nation – of Jefferson, who shaped its direction – and of Robert E. Lee who, after gallant failure, urged those who had followed him in bravery to reunite America in purpose and courage.”

For most of our nation’s two and a half century history, newspapers were the essential source of public opinion. Although newspapers expressed political preferences, regional newspapers did provide other sides of stories, as well as a variety of editorial opinions. But as the 1950s drew to a close, the public began getting its news from a few television networks. Reporters presenting the news in front of TV cameras in this newfangled medium achieved a certain celebrityhood with the viewing audience.

TV news personalities developed such an inflated sense of their own importance that they decided they knew what was best for our country. News began to be reported in the way that served their opinions and agendas, and their depictions of the South were not favorable. This also became the case with Hollywood and other parts of the entertainment field. In earlier years, Hollywood’s portrayals of the South were often favorable, even romanticized. But in the late 1950s, Hollywood got caught up in the “social change” trend that was griping elites. Films became politicized and characterizations of the Southern region were no longer complimentary.

"Curse the Whole Race of Yankee Captains" & "I'd rather give them (Negroes) their liberty than sell them”

When the orphaned and penniless Maunsel White arrived in New Orleans in 1801 from his native Ireland, it was a small town controlled by Spain. Only thirteen, he clerked in a counting-house for sixteen dollars a month, half of which he paid to a French teacher to learn the language. He later explained to his son that “I had a proud spirit” and let no obstacle stand in his way. That son later wrote of his deceased father that as a great merchant, “he first made a name & his name made the money – none stood higher for integrity – his word was inviolable as an oath.” White was proud of his sugar plantations and purchased the best machinery from New York manufacturers, and envisioned strong political and commercial ties between the South and the developing West, a union which northern political interests could not abide.  White did not live to see the devastation and defeat of the South,  passing peacefully at his Deer Range Plantation on December 17, 1863.

Maunsel White, Irish Immigrant

“Behind the highest pile of oyster shells of any of the patrons of the old Gem Restaurant in New Orleans could frequently be found the great merchant, Maunsel White. With the gourmet’s taste for oysters, he concocted a peppery sauce which his Negro servant carried with his when the entered his favorite restaurant. Called the “Maunsel White Sauce,” it later received the name of tabasco sauce.

Gradually Maunsel White established himself as a reliable and successful factor in selling crops of the planters and forwarding plantation supplies to them. An important step in this was to secure the cotton business of Andrew Jackson. Jackson had become acquainted with the young merchant when White served as the captain of a volunteer company under him at the Battle of New Orleans.

To the task of superintending his four plantations, White brought a keen sense of business and great energy. “I am up at [3 to 4 o’clock] in the morning, and all day at the Sugar House or Field,” he wrote during the grinding season of 1847 when he was sixty-four years old.

When one of his female slaves died from an accident at the sugar mill which crushed her hand and arm, he wrote to the Northern manufacturer of the mill, “this melancholy accident has caused myself and family the most sincere sorrow, as we view our Slaves almost in the same light as we do our children.” Although he bought many slaves, he refused to sell any of his own servants, explaining, “I have made myself a solemn promise never to sell a Negro – it is a traffic I have never done, I had rather give them their liberty than sell them.”

While his fortune was intact, White made generous gifts to the recently founded University of Louisiana at New Orleans . . . [and] was elected a member of its first board of administrators. In September 1847 he announced that he would donate to the infant university and endowment of lands to provide an income of one thousand dollars a year.

He became one of the early advocates of home education for Southern youths and the opponent of sending them to schools and colleges in the North, where they would be exposed to [alien doctrines].

White advised his son [Maunsel, Jr.] not to think about becoming a politician, because he questioned the happiness of politicians. He was particularly incensed by the Wilmot Proviso, which he thought was calculated “to do more injury & make a wider breach between the North & the South than any other subject ever brought forth in our political strife.” Although he declared himself to be a Democrat, White also stated that he would never sell himself to any party.

When he invested money in a cotton mill at Cannelton, Indiana, in 1849, he wrote that he wished to see the interests of the South and West united so that nothing on earth might separate them. Though he affirmed his attachment to “the perpetuity of the glorious union,” he said it must be “a Union of equals, jealous of their own & each other’s rights and submitting to no infractions of the constitutional compact as it was framed by our Republican Fathers.”

He developed a strong prejudice against Yankees as a result of sectional strife . . . On May 16, 1848, he wrote to his Richmond factor that he suspected that the Yankee captains of the ship which carried his molasses and sugar were dishonest, adding “Curse the Whole Race of Yankee Captains.” He advised his factor in Philadelphia to who he consigned his sugar crop to watch the captain of the ship carefully, for he was a shrewd Yankee.”

Project Veritas James O'Keefe says media out 'not for truth but for revenge' on Trump

Via Billy

The mainstream media, led by the Washington Post, New York Times, and CNN, are out for revenge against President Trump for labeling them “fake news” and using social media to get around them, according to an explosive forthcoming book by muckraker James O’Keefe.

In “American Pravda,” due out Tuesday, the head of Project Veritas writes that Trump and his White House have gotten under the skin of the mainstream media so much that they’ve given up fair and unbiased coverage and turned to mockery.

“The major media have entered an unprecedented new phase,” he wrote in the book. “Their corporate survival model now demands that they feed a beast increasingly hungry not for truth but for revenge."

Swiss bank offers Trump ‘high marks’ for economic efforts

An executive representing Swiss bank UBS said Monday that President Trump's economic achievements warrant "high marks."

According to CNBC, UBS Wealth Management America’s chief investment strategist, Mike Ryan, said Trump has “changed the perception of what's possible in Washington."

“I think prior to his election, the prospects of tax reform, of regulatory relief or any sort of sensible approach to infrastructure, were off the table,” Ryan reportedly added at a meeting in Singapore.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. (Excerpt in countries ruled by lunatics.)

Vietnam: A Thank You

had to share these photos of my dad while he was in Vietnam. Unlike a majority of the members here, he was a pilot in the South Vietnamese Air Force (VNAF).
He passed away a few years back but I wanted to say on behalf of our family thank you to all the men and women who served, especially those who served in Vietnam.
I am the son of a Vietnamese immigrant and I cannot be more proud to say I am an American.
I'm glad many of you came back, and mourn those who didn't.
God bless everyone, and God bless America!

Hillary Clinton is the last person who should be talking about Trump's remarks on Haiti

President Trump is drawing much-deserved criticism for reportedly referring to Haiti, El Salvador, and certain African nations as “shithole countries” when he met with lawmakers this week to discuss immigration protections.

The main thrust of the argument against the president’s remarks, which were reported first by the Washington Post and the New York Times, is not that he used naughty language, but that he suggested immigrants from poorer countries are somehow subpar to immigrants from wealthier, predominantly white countries.

How to (Legally) Build A Short Barrel Rifle

This Aero Precision upper receiver and barrel is going to make a really nifty short barrel rifle one day.1

As defensive weapons, rifles rock. They’re easy to shoot accurately unless you’re into torching off .577 Nitro Express cigar cartridges. With box magazine designs like the those of the AR-whatever families, capacity is great, and reloading is easy. In fact, the only real downside of a rifle as compared to a pistol is maneuverability and portability.

The Skinny on the SBR

Enter the short barrel rifle, or SBR as we’ll say from here on out because we care about saving the electrons. With its compact size, an SBR can be plenty handy for a car or home use. An SBR has most of the benefits of its larger counterpart, minus a bit of velocity, but with half the calories.
