Where is the outrage over the kidnap, murder of Officer Quick?

Via Joe

Kevin Quick

Earlier this year in Virginia, Waynesboro police officer Kevin Quick was kidnapped and murdered by four black gang members with affiliation to a national gang from Los Angeles. Quick was driven from ATM to ATM where he was made to withdraw money, then driven into the woods where he was executed as a way for the murderers to move up in the gang.

Maybe when someone is put on trial, their IQ should be revealed to the jurors........

A Washington state man was arrested this week for posting multiple messages on Facebook threatening to kill former Ferguson officer Darren Wilson and other members of law enforcement.
Jaleel Tariq Abdul-Jabbaar, 46, started posting the threatening messages after Wilson fatally shot Michael Brown in August, according to a criminal complaint filed in a U.S. district court Monday.

Sessions: Congress Must Deny Funding For Obama’s Illegal Amnesty And Work Authorization

In wake of House Speaker John Boehner's (R-Ohio) announcement of the House's plan on dealing with President Obama's executive amnesty, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) released a press release condemning the plan saying it "fails to meet that test." Senator Sessions then calls on Congress to instead defund President Obama's amnesty.

Earlier Tuesday, Speaker John Boehner had announced that the House will vote on a long-term spending bill for most of the federal government, a short-term bill for agencies that deal with immigration, and a symbolic vote on a bill, introduced by Representative Ted Yoho (R-Fla.) that would prevent the executive branch from taking executive actions like the one President Obama announced last month.

Susan Sontag once famously commented that one could have learned much more about the Soviet Union from 1950 to 1970 from reading the Readers’ Digest than from reading The Nation. I think you might be able to say something similar, though not identical, about the grand jury decision not indicting Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson for killing suspect Michael Brown, namely that one could have had as much difficulty forming a fair and accurate opinion of the decision from watching Fox News as you would from watching MSNBC, which, at least when I was viewing it, devoted one interview after another to discrediting the prosecutors’ statement and the grand jury decision.

VIDEO: WHY OFFICER WILSON SHOT MICHAEL BROWN – What Could Have Happened In Ferguson

In a situation eerily similar to the August 9th confrontation where Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, Johnson City, NY Police officer David Smith was shot and killed by his own weapon after being punched in the face while in his squad car.

3 most-free states income about 20% higher than 3 least-free

This year’s Economic Freedom of North America 2014 (EFNA) report shows that, once again, while we are the United States, our states have bigger differences than climate, seasons and terrain. The levels of economic freedom, and thus economic opportunity, vary widely across the 50 states, as do the levels of economic prosperity.

Traffic stop and unsolved murder draw FBI to Madison County

One deputy was suspicious from the start.

Sgt. Chad Brooks -- who leapt upon the bleeding and thrashing man, only to take a kick to the gut -- would later write that in 14 years he'd never seen anyone resist with such ferocity.

"He was making growling noises and screaming uncontrollably despite no one actively restraining him," wrote Brooks of that night in August of 2012, of his arrival at the dark roadside near the Tennessee line.

There were already a handful of deputies there. Brooks writes Deputy Justin Watson looked exhausted and had blood on his shirt. Watson assured Brooks -- his boss on the third shift -- that the blood came from the man lying in the ditch.

Brooks approached the suspect. But the man had been playing possum. He rolled onto his side and put a boot in Brooks' stomach. Then the man, still in handcuffs, tried to stand up. Brooks tackled him to the ground. They struggled. More deputies piled on.

While lying across the man to keep him still, Brooks noticed the bruises and the blood on the man's face. His teeth had been knocked out.

The man's name, he would later learn, was Robert Bryant.

This story will be told in seven pieces over the course of the week, with a new installment at 8 a.m. every day. This is Part 1.

Black looters are the victims. Black businessmen are getting the social justice they deserve.

Earlier this semester, the UNC-Wilmington African American Center hosted a panel discussion on the Ferguson race riots. A student of mine noticed that none of the panel participants actually visited Ferguson. Given that I interviewed protestors on site in Ferguson in August, the student wanted to know why I was excluded from the panel. It would only make sense to assume that I had some unique insights into the Ferguson situation relative to those who had never actually been there.

Viral retaliation on Michael Brown propaganda

The sheer quantity of BS on Michael Brown as saintly martyr is getting out of hand.  The latest example is this poster, allegedly created by first-graders, about the Gentle Giant (who was also a strong-arm robber).  Coming from the Twitter account of Panda (@CurlsGoddess – don’t you love women who refer to themselves as goddesses?):

Source says Putin has assured Syria it 'won't stand for' Western attack

The United States and Saudi Arabia are holding discussions about the possibility of targeting the regime of Syrian President Basher al-Assad, according to a top source in Assad’s regime.

The source said the information was intercepted by Russia.

The discussion about targeting Assad was at the heart of the visit to Russia last week by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem, the source said. Moualem met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at Russia’s Black Sea resort of Sochi.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters the leaders were discussing “bilateral relations,” but he declined to further comment on the matter of Moualem’s visit.

The $99 AR-15 Bump Stock – Actually Works!– Video Review

Question. What is both more fun and more expensive than shooting your AR-15? The answer is shooting your AR-15 with a bump stock. We first covered the original bump stock in March of 2011, and at the time, I wondered if we would even see it still available a month later. The SlideFire Systems stock was $369, and in talking to the inventor of the stock, I was told that they arrived at that price purely out of hard business numbers. How much did they need to get for the stock in order to have the capitol to grow the company and develop new products? Our article here at GunsAmerica was the first major firearms industry news outlet feature story on the product, and that broke it nationally. As a company, SlideFire was born, and it continues to plug on. As I write this, the SlideFire stock is still $299.

Obama Amnesty Plan Will Cost Taxpayers Trillions

Via Kearney

A researcher from the influential Heritage Foundation estimates that the cost to U.S. taxpayers of President Obama’s pending grant of amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants will be “around $2 trillion.”

So said Robert Rector, senior research fellow in the Domestic Policy Studies Department at the Heritage Foundation, in a November 24 interview with Breitbart News. “The net cost — which is total benefits minus total benefits paid in — of the amnesty recipients I estimate will be around $2 trillion over the course of their lifetime,” said Rector. He added, “What [Obama] is doing is he is putting these 4 million people — who on average have a 10th grade education — into the Social Security and Medicare programs.”

NC: Lee County Concealed Handgun Permit Holders

The Lee County Board of Democrat Commissioners conveniently held their Board meeting at 10:00 AM that excluded the two Republican Commissioners who actually have full time jobs.  The former commissions met at 6:00 PM thus allowing the tax-paying hard working citizens to attend.

Unfortunately, the Board voted to 5 to 0 to rescind the recently passed ordinance that would allow Concealed Handgun Permit holders to legally carry in county buildings and property.  The second reading of the resolution to rescind Concealed Handgun Permit holders on County property will be 4:00 PM December 15th at the Lee County Government Center 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, NC.

I attended the meeting telephonically but was unable to vote.  Lee County has approximately 350 employees of which 58 are sworn Law Enforcement officers within the Sheriff's Department.  Sheriff Tracy Carter told me, "he knows of no distrust amongst his officers for Concealed Carry citizens."  I emphasized the fact that Lee County's 2,758 law-abiding Concealed Handgun Permit holders are being discriminated by the less than 300 employees out of baseless fear and emotions.

Sheriff Carter stated to me, "These are not the citizens we need to be worried about."  I shared that with the Board as well the fact that the the Commission is responsible to the law abiding citizens of Lee County, 2,758 of them who have a Concealed Handgun Permit and are proven upstanding law abiding citizens.  To which Commissioner Robert Rieves Sr. remarked, "that is a moot point."

Please remain vigilant!

Petition: Change Sherman School Names in NYC and Chicago

Via Nancy "Sounds good to me...the Yanks always want us to change."

WAR AND CONFLICT BOOKERA: CIVIL WAR/LEADERS

At least two schools, one in New York City and one in Chicago, are named for General of the Army William Tecumseh Sherman. Sherman was the architect of total war against the South during the so called “Civil” War and a policy of genocide against the Plains Indians after the war. The type of crimes committed by Sherman merited death sentences against German generals at Nuremberg in 1946.

William T. Sherman is simply not an appropriate name for a public school anywhere and is highly offensive to people in the South and Native Americans.

This is a request to the Chancellor of the New York City Dept of Education and the Chairman of the Chicago Public Schools Board of Education to change the name of their respective W.T. Sherman Schools.

Here some Sherman quotes to ponder:

The Cost of Violence

cost of violence ptsd

I have been in war with lot of people, I mean I spent lot of hard time with folks who in that time I could call friends, or at least some kind of allies.

After that I lost contact with most of them, sometimes I heard something about someone, or see some of them, but real „buddy“ contact with people from that time and events is rare.

People who have not gone trough experiences like war probably imagine that there is something like annual meetings of old buddies who used to shoot together and kill other folks, and on that meetings there is huge barbecue and drinks…

And on that meetings we all like laugh and remember how hard it was and we are lucky that we are alive. Actually I was on some similar meetings, but it was everything but fun, so I stopped with that.

People there mostly look at each other and we all see how destroyed we are. I have met many broken people there and the question is has life screwed us or we screwed up in life. And at the end, we all drink, but without music, we just look in fire from barbecue, angry because of some triviality and asking why we are here.
