Impeachment Witness Yovanovitch Admits Obama Administration Prepped Her on Hunter Biden

Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch testifies before the House Intelligence Committee in the Longworth House Office Building on Capitol Hill on Nov. 15, 2019, in Washington, D.C.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch confirmed in congressional testimony on Friday that she was prepped by the Obama administration about how to answer questions concerning Hunter Biden following her 2016 nomination to the post.

Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York pressed Yovanovitch on the subject of then-Vice President Joe Biden’s son’s lucrative position as a member of the board of the Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings during the impeachment inquiry hearing before the House Intelligence Committee.

Joe Biden was the Obama administration’s point man on Ukrainian policy.

A new transcript released Friday by President Donald Trump debunked speculation by former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch in a closed-door deposition last month that Trump bad-mouthed her in his first call with newly-elected Ukrainian President Volodymy Zelensky.

House Intelligence Committee Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) had asked Yovanovitch during that October 11 deposition if she knew whether Trump had brought her up in a prior conversation. She responded: “I don’t know. I had assumed it was the April 21st phone call, that first phone call, because that, to my knowledge, is the only time — other time that they talked,” she said.

The Nazi Style Attack of Canada's Fundamental Freedoms, and Hockey?

Not sure if you've seen our recent news but our politics and double standards have become very bad here. I have written an article regarding what's happened with Don Cherry being fired and Canadian hockey being badmouthed....but am banned from Facebook for another four days! Here is the link to the article if you want it on your blog. If you'd please post it on my timeline on Facebook it'd be appreciated. :) Hope life is treating you well! Thanks and take care for now,
--Cousin Dale

While I dislike having to write articles about such trash, Canada has certainly reached a point when people need to speak out. I'm a fourth generation Canadian and played hockey for many years in my youth. I never made a first string team nor was any kind of superstar, but nonetheless I experienced the many positive facets of Canadian hockey. I'm an advocate for Veterans and have tried to speak for our military/veterans because Canadians don't realize how poorly we treat and receive our Veterans as opposed to other countries. While we're not doing bad, we sure could be doing much more to show pride in and say thanks to those that serve or have served.

So as he's done so many times in the past Don Cherry decides to have an on air rant about something. I grew up listening to Don's many rants and have watched repeatedly as people have roasted him for his controversial speeches in the past. Just prior to Remembrance Day he chose to speak out regarding what he felt was a lack of new immigrants wearing poppies, and strongly suggested everybody should. With typical Don Cherry flare he used his decades-long term "you people". In every other instance his words were not treated as evil or the end of the world.....

Elizabeth Warren's Tax Plan Includes Rates of Over 100% for Some People

The staggering economic impact of a tax plan proposed by Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts is now being exposed.

The Wall Street Journal did the math and found that the federal tax rates of some Americans could be over 100 percent under Warren’s plan.

That finding was part of a drumbeat of warnings about the effects of Warren’s proposals.

According to a report from The New York Times, a Penn Wharton Budget Model analysis revealed Warren’s plans could reduce economic growth 1.5 percent per year to 1.3 percent.

House Democrats Close To Giving Trump Major Win Before End Of Year By Passing USMCA

U.S. President Donald Trump speaks during an Economic Club of New York event in New York, U.S., on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019. Trump laid out the central pillar of his 2020 re-election campaign on Tuesday, telling the Economic Club of New York that his policies have generated a boom in growth and jobs.

House Democrats are reportedly prepared to hand President Donald Trump a major win before the end of the year by passing the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), which replaces the old North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

“We are moving positively in terms of the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement, again it all comes down to enforcement,” Pelosi said on Thursday. “I do believe that if we can get this to the place it needs to be — which is imminent — that this can be a template for future trade agreements. A good template.”

The gloves are off.

After one day of public hearings on the House “inquiry” into impeaching President Donald Trump, California Republican and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy took to the media on Capitol Hill on Thursday to level an explosive charge against Democrat Adam Schiff.

The Intelligence Committee chairman, McCarthy said in brutally unguarded language, has been lying to the American public about his knowledge of the “whistleblower” behind the impeachment drive.

As if to make sure there was no misunderstanding his words, McCarthy repeated them in more than one interview.
