Castro Is Now Issuing Demands On U.S. -- Well Done, Mr. Obama

 http://www.newstalkflorida.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Senator-Marco-Rubio-told-Fox-News-Sunday-that-the-U.S.-must-move-slowly-on-Immigration-Reform.jpg

"At minimum, Barack Obama is the worst negotiator that we've had as president since at least Jimmy Carter, and maybe in the modern history of the country."

Soon after President Obama announced plans to normalize relations with Cuba, Sen. Marco Rubio called him the worst negotiator since Jimmy Carter. Cuban officials are now proving Rubio right.

As soon as Obama made his announcement, it became clear he'd pretty much given up the store and gotten nothing in return.

Cuba didn't have to make any concessions on freedom of speech, democratic elections, a market economy. It didn't have to turn over U.S. fugitives, including a convicted cop killer, whom it's been protecting for years.

Indeed, as we noted in this space after Obama's announcement, Raul Castro was soon bragging about how he'd struck a deal with Obama "without a single sacrifice of our principles."

These Are The Seven Worst Examples Of A Policy Loretta Lynch Is In Love With

 Policing for Profit

Cops across the country are padding their budgets with hundreds of millions of dollars by seizing property from American citizens, even when they have not been charged with a crime.

This process–called asset forfeiture–allows police to take property for themselves if they suspect it is being used for a crime, and though it was recently limited by Attorney General Eric Holder, it’s still ripe for abuse.

Loretta Lynch, President Obama’s nominee for attorney general, called asset forfeiture “a wonderful tool“ during her confirmation hearing, so The Daily Caller News Foundation compiled seven of the most “wonderful” examples of the last decade.

1. Tan Nguyen hopped in his car excited about $50,000 in casino winnings. That excitement faded when he saw police lights in the rear view mirror. A Nevada police officer suspicious of the man’s large sum of cash confiscated it, Forbes reports. Nguyen said the cop threatened to seize and tow his car if he spoke up about it.

After hiring a lawyer, Nguyen was able to get his $50,000 back with attorney’s fees.

$outhern Poverty Law Center Once Again Takes Aim at Justice Moore

 http://www.jihadwatch.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/SPLC-True-Hate-Group.jpg

As I reported earlier, Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore sent an open letter to Alabama Governor Robert Bentley. In this letter, Chief Justice Moore asks that Bentley resist a recent ruling by a federal appeals court. This ruling stated that the Alabama Sanctity of Marriage Amendment was unconstitutional. Now there has been an answer from a known anti-Christian organization.

Christiannews.net reports:
The Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization that become notorious for creating its list of Christian “hate groups,” has filed a judicial ethics complaint against Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore after he sent a letter to Gov. Robert Bentley, asking that he uphold the state’s Sanctity of Marriage Amendment.
Moore used the Bible and American history of law as support for his reasoning. His letter is reported to have said.

RACIAL RACKET BALL

The coming major recession will be remembered 'in a hundred years'

Hedge fund manager Crispin Odey (pictured) has warned that major economies are entering into a recession that will be remembered for generations to come

A hedge fund manager who made millions after correctly predicting the credit crunch has warned major economies are entering a recession that will be ‘remembered in a hundred years’.

In a letter to his well-heeled customers, Crispin Odey predicted that ‘equity markets will get devastated’ and described it as the best time to bet on shares slumping in value since the recent financial crisis.

Citing the current turmoil in the markets, including a dramatic slump in the oil price and a ‘faltering Chinese economy’, he said: ‘This downcycle is likely to be remembered in a hundred years, when we hope it won’t be rated for ‘How good it looks for its age!’.

Oxford-educated Mr Odey is the founder of Odey Asset Management, which runs more than £7.6billion for investors around the world.

Global Research: “The True Story of the Bilderberg Group” and What They May Be Planning Now

Via comment by Anonymous on Jesse Ventura: ‘American Sniper’ as real as ‘Dirty...

Dated.

For over 14 years, Daniel Estulin has investigated and researched the Bilderberg Group’s far-reaching influence on business and finance, global politics, war and peace, and control of the world’s resources and its money.

His book, “The True Story of the Bilderberg Group,” was published in 2005 and is now updated in a new 2009 edition. He states that in 1954, “the most powerful men in the world met for the first time” in Oosterbeek, Netherlands, “debated the future of the world,” and decided to meet annually in secret.

They called themselves the Bilderberg Group with a membership representing a who’s who of world power elites, mostly from America, Canada, and Western Europe with familiar names like David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, Bill Clinton, Gordon Brown, Angela Merkel, Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernanke, Larry Summers, Tim Geithner, Lloyd Blankfein, George Soros, Donald Rumsfeld, Rupert Murdoch, other heads of state, influential senators, congressmen and parliamentarians, Pentagon and NATO brass, members of European royalty, selected media figures, and invited others – some quietly
by some accounts like Barack Obama and many of his top officials.

Always well represented are top figures from the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), IMF, World Bank, Trilateral Commission, EU, and powerful central bankers from the Federal Reserve, the ECB’s Jean-Claude Trichet, and Bank of England’s Mervyn King.

For over half a century, no agenda or discussion topics became public nor is any press coverage allowed. The few invited fourth estate attendees and their bosses are sworn to secrecy. Nonetheless, Estulin undertook “an investigative journey” that became his life’s work. He states:

“Slowly, one by one, I have penetrated the layers of secrecy surrounding the Bilderberg Group, but I could not have done this withot help of ‘conscientious objectors’ from inside, as well as outside, the Group’s membership.” As a result, he keeps their names confidential.

Robert E. Lee’s Simplicity Sublime

 http://www.vahistorical.org/sites/default/files/styles/fullscreen_gallery_image/public/slideshow_image/lee%20monument.jpg?itok=b63bUMDP

Born near Washington, Georgia in 1814, John A. Campbell was considered a child prodigy and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1825 at age 14.  He attended West Point for three years and would have graduated but for the death of his father and having to care for his family.  Campbell read law and was admitted to the State Bar at age 18, which required a special act of the Georgia Legislature. He was appointed to the Supreme Court by President Franklin Pierce in 1853.   Judge Campbell served as a mediator between the Confederate Commissioners and Lincoln administration in early 1861 hoping to avoid war, but the latter refused to compromise and maintain peace; he served as Assistant Secretary of War under President Jefferson Davis.

Robert E. Lee’s Simplicity Sublime

October 15, 1887
General Fitzhugh Lee, President
Lee Monument Association, Richmond, Virginia

“General, I have your invitation to be present at the ceremony for placing the corner-stone of the monument to be erected to the memory of General Robert E. Lee, at the Capitol of the State of Virginia. The monument will express the fullness of appreciation, by the people and State of Virginia to his excellence, as a citizen and functionary, who had been invested with powers and trusts exalted and vital, during a time of war, and at a period of anxiety, danger, privation, disaster, and at the close of the war, of supreme calamity.

There was an overturn of the State Government, an irresponsible administration was substituted, with a subversion of the domestic institutions before existing.  Before this General Lee had been the pause, the central point about whom all did pass with enthusiasm and confidence.  Nor did this confidence wane, nor did the persuasion of the people of his entire trustworthiness for an instant waver.  The completed monument will utter this to all generations who shall come to view it, and who will derive strength from it.

In the Spring of 1865, the Confederate States were disintegrated, their connection dissolved and their armies capitulated after defeat.  General Lee became a prisoner of war and there was a mournful wilderness of brave and patriotic men, who had been slain and buried on [Virginia’s] soil.

Were an enlightened enemy to address this assembly, we might expect him to say of General Robert E. Lee:
“That with a noble nature and great gifts he was endowed,
Courage, discretion, skill,
An equal temper, and an ample soul;

Rockbound and fortified against assaults of Transitory Passion;

So prompt and capable, and yet so calm,
He nothing lacked of sovereignty, but the right,
Nothing of soldiership, but good fortune;

Wherefore with honor lay him in his grave,
And thereby increase of honor come,
Unto their arms, who vanquished one so wise,
So valiant, so renowned.”
General Lee carried into this war no profane ambition, nor oppressor’s greed, nor lust for power, preferment, emolument, vain glory or sectional strife.

In his campaigns and marches there was no rapine, plunder, cruelty.  The triumph he fought for and exerted a the powers of his noble nature has the triumph of a just cause as recompense of high sacrifice and of an arduous and generous struggle.

He suffered no humiliation nor consciousness of abasement because of defeat and capitulation. There was no cause for self re-proof.  There was a right-minded and manly submission to the consequences of ill-success without scorn, resentment nor exasperation.  The people of Virginia of the Confederate States, the brave and good, everywhere may join us and say –

“Mourn for the man of long enduring soul,
The Christian warrior, moderate and resolute –
Whole in himself, a common good;

Mourn for the man of amplest influence,
Yet clearest of ambition’s crime,
Our greatest, but of least pretense –
Foremost Captain of this time.

Rich in saving common sense,
And as the greatest only are,
In his simplicity sublime.”

I am General, your friend,

John A. Campbell”

American Sniper Is Surprisingly Popular in Iraq

American Sniper, the film about Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who became the deadliest sniper in U.S. history while serving four tours of duty in Iraq, has broken box office records and is nominated for six Oscars, including best picture. To say that the film is a hit among American audiences (Michael Moore, and other haters aside) would be an understatement. What is receiving far less attention—though very interesting—is how the movie is faring in the Middle East.

In Iraq, the theater at Baghdad’s Mansour Mall was “full and rowdy” during the film’s opening week—and the crowd was into it.
When Gaith Mohammed, a young man in his twenties with a degree in accounting, went to see "American Sniper" during its opening week at Baghdad’s Mansour Mall, he says the theater was full and rowdy. […]
Mohammed says one of the film’s opening scenes, when Kyle spots a woman and child who appear to be preparing to attack US troops during the initial invasion of Iraq, had the entire audience on the edge of their seats.
“When the sniper was hesitating to shoot [the child holding the RPG] everyone was yelling ‘Just shoot him!’” he said.

North Korea: Israel Is 'Dictatorial'

  http://images1.ynet.co.il/PicServer3/2012/04/16/3868761/386875901000100396220.jpg

In what might be called a foray into the absurd, the police state of North Korea has accused the Israeli democracy of "representing dictatorial forces."

North Korea was responding to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's comments to the Japanese premier during his recent visit to Israel. Netanyahu said that both Israel and Japan face "formidable threats from nearby rogue states" — Israel from Iran and Japan from North Korea, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Iran "cannot be allowed to travel the road taken by North Korea," Netanyahu said, citing an agreement with North Korea in 1994 that "was widely celebrated as a historic breakthrough for nonproliferation, but in the end, that deal failed to prevent the dangerous proliferation that threatens all of East Asia today."

The prime minister went on to say: "Both Iran and North Korea are governed by ruthless and extreme dictatorships, states that seek to bully and intimidate their neighbors.

"Iran and North Korea have aggressive military nuclear programs and they are both developing nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them, ballistic missiles."

North Korea — officially known as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) — issued a statement through the Korean Central News Agency castigating Netanyahu for "provocative remarks hurting the DPRK's dignity and social system," according to the Post.

The Kim Jong Un regime said Netanyahu's criticism amounted to "rubbish," and accused Israel of "representing dictatorial forces for aggression that trample down the legitimate right of the Palestinian people."

The North Korean statement also said: "Israel recently went the lengths of hurting the DPRK's dignified social system. The people-centered Korean-style socialist system is the most advantageous system under which the people became masters of everything, and the DPRK's nuclear weapons are powerful deterrents to protect its social system."

Jesse Ventura: ‘American Sniper’ as real as ‘Dirty Harry,’ blasts Chris Kyle as dishonorable, liar

http://static.ijreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/marcus-luttrell-chris-kyle-2.jpg

Former pro wrestler and Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura has joined director Michael Moore and actor Seth Rogen in denigrating “American Sniper” and its subject, the late Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.

Mr. Ventura said during an interview Wednesday that Clint Eastwood’s “American Sniper” — which he has not seen — is as authentic as his 1970s “Dirty Harry” cop films. He then said the famous sniper was a man without honor.

“A hero must be honorable, must have honor. And you can’t have honor if you’re a liar. There is no honor in lying,” Mr. Ventura told The Associated Press, referring to his defamation lawsuit against the late SEAL’s estate over a subchapter in his autobiography titled “Punching Out Scruff Face.”

GOP Silent As Obama’s Illegals Cause Crime Wave

President Obama unleashed a nation-wide crime wave when he directed his deputies to release 36,007 foreign criminals back into Americans neighborhoods in 2013, instead of repatriating the criminals, according to a list of crimes released Friday, Jan. 30.

But GOP senators kept the list secret until after Obama’s nominee for Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, completed her confirmation hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 28.

Pledging Allegiance to the Omnipotent Lincolnian State

Re-post 2011 FNC & NamSouth

Dated

The US Supreme Court's recent decision to review the constitutionality of the "under God" wording in the Pledge of Allegiance provides an occasion to educate Americans about the ideological purpose of the Pledge. A good place to start would be John Baer's book, The Pledge of Allegiance: A Centennial History, 1892-1992 (Free State Press, 1992). In it one would learn that the author of the Pledge was one Francis Bellamy, a defrocked Baptist minister from Boston who identified himself as a Christian Socialist and who preached in his pulpit that "Jesus was a socialist."

Bellamy was the cousin of Edward Bellamy, author of the extremely popular 1888 socialist fantasy, Looking Backward. In this novel the main character, Julian West, falls asleep in 1887 and awakens in the year 2000 when the socialist "utopia" has been achieved: All industry is state owned, Soviet style; everyone is an employee of the state who is conscripted at age 21 and retires at age 45; and all workers earn the same income.

Francis Bellamy said that one purpose of the Pledge of Allegiance was to help accomplish his lifelong goal of making his cousin's socialist fantasy a reality in America. He further stated that the "true reason for allegiance to the Flag" was to indoctrinate American school children in the false history of the American founding that was espoused first by Daniel Webster and, later, by Abraham Lincoln.

Ukraine Rebels Plan 'Summit Of Unrecognized States' Including Texas!

 http://resources1.news.com.au/images/2014/07/21/1226996/215141-69acd80c-1087-11e4-9633-5d2eb5bc90d6.jpg

A top official from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) has said he will host a "summit of unrecognized states" in February or March if he can guarantee the security of its participants.

In an interview with the Donetsk-based Oplot-TV, Aleksandr Kofman, the self-styled foreign minister of the Moscow-backed DNR, said talks on the summit have already begun and that he hopes the meeting will result in a "League of New States."

Kofman listed representatives from Spain's Basque region, Belgium's Flanders region, Venice, Italy, and the U.S. state of Texas as potential participants. (There was no mention of Kosovo, which has been recognized by 108 states but notably not by Russia.)

Kofman's interviewer expressed particular interest in Texas, asking if there are "sprouts of support" in the U.S. state.

"There's more than sprouts," he said, adding that those in favor of Texas independence "fully support the Donetsk People's Republic."
