SBC supports building of mosque after denigrating the Confederate Flag and our Ancestors. LEAVE!

Via Billy

The Southern Baptist Convention threw down a gauntlet at the feet of Republican nominee Donald Trump and many conservatives, adopting a resolution encouraging churches and families “to welcome and adopt refugees into their churches and homes.”

But at least one senior pastor from within the organization is telling the Southern Baptist Convention to stop meddling and leave the issue up to citizens who are impacted by the influx of refugees.

Though Resolution 12 also called for the “strictest security measures possible,” the measure specifically referred to the “85,000 refugees coming into the United States in 2016 from four continents and the Caribbean” that are expected.

“Died of Political Correctness.”

Via Jeffery

Right now we are in the eye of the storm and as bad as it is, we still don’t see all of the picture.   In another 20 years, the epitaph on the tombstone of this nation will read: “Died of Political Correctness.”  Almost overnight, up has become down, black has become white, right has become left, etc.

All manner of deviancy is now regarded as acceptable and honorable while those clinging to tradition or conservative morals are said to be evil and unfeeling.

When I was in high school one of the worst things you could be called was a “queer.”  Now, it is considered courageous and proper to publicly announce homosexual feelings.  Back then one thing that was concrete was the gender that you were born with. Currently, one is considered brave and a social leader to decide to identify as actually being the other gender, make a physical change and announce it to the world.  Such people are anointed and given “Person of the Year” awards by the media.

We are denigrated if our children dare pray in school or in public functions or if the Bible is even given credence in discussions, but just let someone want to bow to the East and pray to “Allah” or want to study the Koran, and everyone falls all over themselves to accommodate their wishes.  Then, when they expand upon the teachings of said religion and spew out their hate for us and our way of life and kill our citizens, it is quickly shouted that such heinous acts are actually the fault of the tools that they used and not the evil people themselves or their twisted beliefs.  Furthermore, any who do not embrace them with love and tolerance for blowing the hell out of our buildings and citizens, are considered the bigots and hate-mongers.

There was a time that the greatest shame a woman could be accused of was to be in an inter-racial relationship.  Now, it is a “badge of honor” to not only have such a relationship but especially if they can have several “multi-racial” children, preferably outside of wed-lock.  By the time of the reading of the epitaph of the dead nation mentioned above, 70% of the population of this country will be the color of the inside of a 3 Musketeers bar!!  Is it honorable to either race to water down the integrity of said race?

Even our language has been attacked to the point that many words have been stolen and censored from use.  All in the attempt to not “offend” someone who may not like what is being said.
The very essence of a free nation or society carries with it, by pure definition, the fact that someone else may be offended by something that is said or done.  But, that is part of freedom.  This is not a padded room….. it’s not a rose garden……it is life!

Well, gentlemen, this action by the SBC is just one more brick in the wall that will ultimately support the tombstone of this nation.  This is the Roman Empire ca. 475 A. D. and the Huns and Barbarians are at the gate of the city.  So, what should we do????  I know, let’s start by buying in to the lying media-machine with their "yellow journalism" and let’s elect another “anti-Christ” as President so that they can continue to fertilize the filth that we are now wallowing in and can replace the rest of the Supreme Court with liberal fools……………. That’ll do it!"

3rd graders face retention after parents opt out of tests

Via comment by Anonymous on Failing Another Common Core Test

Some Central Florida parents who had their third graders skip Florida's standardized reading test now find their children threatened with being held back, even if they are strong readers who finished the school year with good report cards.

The parents, part of the "opt out" movement opposed to high-stakes testing, are furious.

They are convinced school districts are not following state law and are instead retaliating against families who refused to take part in the Florida Standards Assessments. They did so as an act of civil disobedience to protest what they view as the state's over-reliance on an unproven standardized test.

"There's no reason for a third grader with straight As to be retained," said parent Rhonda Nickerson, whose 9-year-old daughter may be barred from fourth grade at a Seminole County elementary school. "What are they going to do with her in third grade again?"

Nickerson's daughter did not take the FSA. Her report card shows the girl earned As in all her academic subjects. But it also reads, "Student Retained in Grade 3."

Rebuttal to Alexander Stephens' "Cornerstone Speech"

Victims of the Confederate Fury

Portraits and picture of some of Alexander Stephens' servants

Family servants of Alexander H. Stephens.

"Alexander Stephens' so-called cornerstone speech is a weak historical reed to lean on.
There was no written text for Stephens' cornerstone speech, as he spoke extemporaneously. The only record is that of a Savannah journalist who attended the speech. It is impossible to determine how accurately this journalist represented Stephens' remarks. Stephens often complained about being misquoted in the press. In any case, this was a stump speech of political rhetoric, aimed at a populist audience, and not the thoughtful, definitive word on the formation of the Confederacy. I should add that the racist remarks attributed to Stephens would have been acceptable to all Americans of the day except the most radical of the Northern abolitionists.

One final matter deserves comment. Early in 1865, about five weeks before Appomattox, Lincoln requested a meeting with a Confederate delegation led by Vice President Alexander Stephens. The Confederate peace commissioners met with Lincoln and Seward on board a steamer in Hampton Roads. Lincoln promised compensation for slaves if the Confederates would lay down their arms, stop fighting, and give up their independence. But the Confederates -- well knowing that their fate was already sealed -- refused the offer because independence, and not slavery, was what the South was fighting for. They were not dying by the hundreds of thousands because they didn't want to give up their servants. Rather, they gave their lives because they didn't want to be conquered and ruled by foreigners.

By the end of the War, there were still more slaves in the Union than out of it. When Lincoln was killed, blacks were excluded from his funeral in New York. Alexander Stephens' emancipated slaves remained loyal to him, and continued to work his farm while he was imprisoned in the North. When Stephens was released from the Yankee prison, they continued to work for him for little or no money.

When Stephens died, hundreds of them attended his funeral."

Jefferson Davis Married Sarah Knox Taylor and Varina Howell Davis
Sarah Knox Taylor                          Varina Howell Davis

On 17 June 1835 27 year old soldier Jefferson Davis married 21 year old Sara Knox Taylor, daughter of his commanding officer, Zachary Taylor, later president of the US. Taylor refused his permission because Davis was a soldier, so Davis resigned his commission and against his commander's wishes married Sara in Louisville.

The couple moved south, where Davis' elder Brother Joseph had an 1800 acre plantation on the Mississippi near Vicksburg. His brother gave them use of Brierfield plantation next door. Both Jefferson and Sara contracted malaria or yellow fever. After only three months of marriage, Sarah died in September, 1835. Davis himself nearly died. He became a recluse for several years after Sarah's death, but eventually re-married Varina Banks Howell in 1845. She was 18

Bikers planning to protect supporters at Donald Trump rally in Phoenix

Via sauced07

A group of bikers said it plans to protect supporters from possible violence at a Donald Trump rally scheduled to be held in Phoenix on Saturday.

“We’re going to stand between them and any protesters that come onto the property and hopefully protect them from any bodily harm, should it get to that point,” Cindy Perrin with Lions Guard Arizona said.

The rally is expected to begin Saturday about 4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum on the Arizona State Fairgrounds near 19th Avenue and McDowell Road.

The protest will be held at nearby Encanto Park from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Perrin said the biker group, made up mostly of retired police officers, such as herself, and veterans, will be wearing American flag bandanas so they are easy to identify.

Confederate Flag Removed From Pennsylvania Capitol Display

Via comment by Anonymous on Victims of the Confederate Fury

Confederate flag removed from historical display in Pa. Capitol by state Rep.
Fat bitch
Finding it a symbol of racism and hate, Gov. Tom Wolf ordered a Confederate flag removed from a Flag Day exhibit in the state Capitol after the chairwoman of the black legislators' caucus took it down but event organizers put it back up.

Wolf took action Wednesday after Capitol police had been summoned to retrieve the flag and return it to the display.

The reproduction of an 1863 Confederate battle flag was part of a historical society's collection of flags that have flown over what is now the U.S., including from territories and the colonial period.
Rep. Vanessa Lowery Brown, a Philadelphia Democrat, said she was astonished to see the flag as she walked through the Capitol's east wing on Tuesday.

"I just did what I thought was right and I took the flag down," said Brown, who heads the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus.

She carried it into the chambers and gave it to the House speaker.

Comment By Anonymous On "NYT blames Republicans for Orlando."

"For those who have made their politics and agenda activism their god, any thing that does not fit their predetermined world view will always be some thing of an unknown reason, with unknown motives. Seems clear enough to me. The reported shooter was a MUSLIM. Enough said. World wide Muslims are known to murder homosexuals. I don't know of ANY Republican politician that has called for the murder some one just because they are a homosexual. A Muslim cleric? Yes.

If the scribblers at the NYT want to blame any one for what has happened, then all they need to do is look in the mirror. It is they who use any and all events, to exploit. Again there is the call for banning firearms, abolishing the 2nd Amendment. That an AR-15 was NOT used, does not matter to them. They don't like that firearm, therefore it ought to be banned. France has the kind of "sensible gun control laws"

They dream about imposing here in the FUSA, but that still did not stop the shooting in Paris. Nor has Chicago's strict gun control laws, made that city a safe place to live.

The NYT scribblers are living in their own fantasy land. Gays and lesbians are a protected class and given preferred treatment and considerations. In the distorted view of the NYT, it is socially acceptable behavior to be a bigot and vilify veterans, those who hold to the traditional doctrines of the Christian faith, those who question the official dogma on "climate change", those who state their are only two genders/sexes (male and female), patriots and I suppose I could add more "minorities" to this list that the NYT holds in contempt.

It is the NTY that continues to promote the racism. With them, every thing is the fault of white people. Blacks living here, still enjoy a standard of living that is higher that just about any place else on this planet, yet they still want to wallow in the slavery mindset. Interesting how they never get around to holding the Democratic party and politicians accountable for their actions and rhetoric.

A Muslim, will cite the Koran for the justification of murdering some one because they are a homosexual. A Christian will call on the same homosexual to repent of his sin. IN the view of the NYT, telling some one to repent of their sins is a "hate crime". Come to think of it, if general public one day decided to live as best they could in compliance with the just the 2nd half of the 10 Commandments, that would almost over night put the party of Evil (the Democratic Party) out of business."

Hillary Clinton Received Secret Memo Stating Obama Admin ‘Support’ for ISIS

Via Billy

Hillary Clinton received a classified intelligence report stating that the Obama administration was actively supporting Al Qaeda in Iraq, the terrorist group that became the Islamic State.

The memo made clear that Al Qaeda in Iraq was speaking through Muhammad Al Adnani, who is now the senior spokesman for the Islamic State, also known as ISIS. Western and Gulf states were supporting the terrorist group to try to overthrow Syrian dictator Bashar al Assad, who was being propped up by the Russians, Iranians, and Chinese.

In August 2012, a “SECRET” classified memo was sent to various top Obama administration officials and agencies, including to the State Department and to Clinton’s office personally.

NC: 2-pronged approach to NC Commie Core math earns initial Senate approval

North Carolina lawmakers are planning to reintroduce traditional math courses into public high schools in response to students' and parents' complaints that the multistate Common Core standards are confusing and overly complicated.

The Senate on Wednesday granted tentative approval to a measure that would direct school districts to offer traditional math courses like algebra and geometry alongside the newer "integrated" Math 1, Math 2 and Math 3 pathway that the state adopted as part of Common Core in 2012.

Public College Prof: ISIS Is A ‘Distraction,’ Christians Real Culprit For Orlando

Via Billy

A University at Buffalo (SUNY-Buffalo) professor is claiming any attention given to Islamic State and Islamic radicalism after the Orlando shooting is “deliberate misdirection” distracting people from the much greater threat of Christians and the Republican party.

“This was an American killing Americans because they were queer and that has not been forcefully articulated,” Jonathan Katz said in a news release put out by the school. “What we are trying to do here is camouflage the root of the problem, which is a long history of violent political rhetoric and homophobic policies by Republican officials and their conservative allies.

Failing Another Common Core Test

Via Billy

In a shocking and utterly unanticipated turn of events, a new report suggests that pedagogy which teaches 2+2 is 4 only by way of 17 does not adequately prepare students for college or life thereafter.

Okay, we’re completely kidding. Because the latest report is that Common Core has failed the test, and that’s not shocking at all.

ACT, the organization best known for its college admissions testing, recently released its National Curriculum Survey, a survey conducted every few years that asks educators what they do — or don’t — teach and solicits input on what prepares students for academic success. While ACT typically questions educators from elementary to postsecondary levels, this year, for the first time, the survey also included “workforce supervisors and employees” to identify what they see as essential for career readiness.

You’ll recall, of course, that Common Core proponents touted its ability “to ensure that all students graduate from high school with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in college, career, and life,” and assured that the standards are “[a]ligned with college and career expectations.”

Father of Orlando Victim: My Son Would’ve Traded ‘Everything in the World’ for a Loaded Gun

The anti-gun lobby makes a habit of mocking the idea that firearms can be effectively used in self-defense situations.

This article by The Trace, for example, gleefully notes that (according to one study) the likelihood of injury when using a firearm for self-defense is identical to that of “running and hiding.”

It is true that leaving the premises is the number one option in an active shooter situation. But what if it’s impossible to run and hide? What happens when you’re trapped in a bathroom stall with no way out and there’s a homicidal religious zealot firing rounds on the other side of the door?

As the father of one Orlando victim told Sean Hannity this week, a loaded gun could have made all the difference in the deadliest active shooter situation in U.S history.

“There is a simpler solution, as Donald Trump has said many times, if you have somebody shooting back the game’s over,” Mark Bando said. “When the shooting started there wasn’t one person in there that wouldn’t have traded everything he owned in the world to have a loaded gun. But these people don’t realize it until they’re in a situation that’s far too late.”

The Killhouse Rules

Within the past few weeks I was invited to attend a major metropolitan training exercise to test the areas of responsibility for police and fire to work together during a mass-casualty incident or ongoing crisis.  While the response to the training incident was relatively swift, much like we all watched in Orlando, I was able to sit and watch seconds become minutes, minutes build into hours, and hours drag on.

It reinforced for me my belief and practice of The Graham Combat Killhouse Rules:

Orlando Victims Died Because They Were Unarmed - Not Because They Were Gay

Via Jonathan

Numerous liberty movement analysts and proponents, myself included, have been warning about 2016 and the heightened potential for multiple terrorist events.  I have written extensively on the history of ISIS, its proven ties to western governments and the disturbing program to forcefully inject millions of Islamic refugees into western nations in the name of dubious “multiculturalism,” allowing thousands of potential terrorists into our borders without obstruction.  The reality is that terrorist attacks of small and medium scale are likely to become a monthly or weekly occurrence in the U.S. and the EU as we close in on the end of the year.  Get used to the idea, because this problem is not going to go away while our own governments are aiding and even funding the very psychopaths that they are supposed to be protecting people from.

The recent attack at at gay club in Orlando by a self-proclaimed ISIS advocate, killing at least 49 people and wounding at least 53 more, was not at all a surprise.  The scale of the attack should have been expected.  No one in the U.S. should have assumed anything less given the number of dead during events in Europe.

What is frustrating, however, is that even though these attacks are highly predictable, very few Americans seem to be preparing in any meaningful way to counter them.  In fact, I happened across a clip of establishment mouthpiece Bill O’ Reilly the other day arguing that there “is nothing that we can do” to stop such "lone wolf attacks".

Ostensibly, this is an argument against the inevitable push for more gun control by Leftists in the wake of the Orlando massacre; but it also sets a dangerous and false precedent in the minds of the public.  The fact of the matter is, the American people CAN stop the majority of terrorist attacks of this nature anytime they wish, without the aid of government or the implementation of unconstitutional gun control measures.

ISIS has found a way to pierce US counter-terrorism defenses

The lone wolf terrorist does not exist.

The lone wolf terrorist is a fiction.  He doesn't exist.

The reason is simple.

People don't engage in terrorism as individuals.  They do it as part of a social group.  They need the social meaning a group provides to justify the personal risk and the act of violence.

This need for meaning may be even more true for blood and guts terrorism, given the high mortality rates and public disapproval involved. This creates achasm between cheerleading a violent cause and an actual act of terrorism. Crossing this chasm requires an extensive social investment.

Why Not Admit the Obvious: The President Won't Blame Them because He Agrees with Them

Via Jonathan

We all know that Barack Obama was nominally a lawyer at some point in his past – not a good one, by anyone's account, but he was one.  Assume for the moment that Barack Obama had as his client The Muslim Brotherhood, or CAIR, or Hamas, or any one of dozens of organizations dedicated to taking down the United States.  Could he possibly have done a more effective job of hiding his client's actions or intentions while they went about conducting criminal operations unmolested as he has for seven years?  Could he have been more successful at misdirecting and obfuscating and lying about their intentions and deeds than he has already been?

Though not every lawyer shares a client's philosophy, the zeal with which an attorney does his job can sometimes be proportionate to his identity with the client's goals and objectives.  The president certainly is a zealous fellow when it comes to radical Islam.

We know he won't call it "radical Islam," claiming that that is a distraction or a talking point.  Perhaps the real reason is that he doesn't believe that what the Islamists he supports are doing is radical at all.  Maybe the actual issue is that he believes in and supports their efforts to infiltrate and subvert the United States.  That would explain an awful lot, wouldn't it?

Victims of the Confederate Fury

Lincoln’s Grand Army of the Republic was superbly equipped, well-fed and well-paid, with most receiving bounties from the home towns, State’s and the federal government. They faced a varied collection of barefoot, undernourished American farmers armed mostly with captured muskets and equipment; or what slipped past the blockade. Even as late as March 1865 entire Northern regiments were being captured by Southern forces.
Bernhard Thuersam,   The Great American Political Divide

Victims of the Confederate Fury

“The Federal fatalities during the entire war were 359,528 men. Of this number, 110,070 were killed in battle or died of wounds; 249,458 died of disease or accident . . . Over 250,000 men were discharged for disabilities arising from wounds or disease rendering them unfit for service. Losses in the main battles of the Civil War ran high.

A comparison of the casualties at Gettysburg with those sustained in some of the European conflicts might prove illuminating. The Third Westphalia Regiment lost at Marc La Tour 49.4 per cent killed and wounded; the Garde-Schutze Regiment lost at Metz 46.1 per cent; the Light Brigade lost at Balaklava 36.7 per cent.

These battles probably recorded the greatest losses in single engagements up to the time of the Civil War; yet it has been asserted “without fear of contradiction” that in the Union army at least 63 regiments lost more than 50 per cent in killed and wounded in single engagements.

At least 23 regiments lost more than one half in killed and wounded in the three bloody days of Gettysburg. Native regiments made splendid records there — and paid for it, the Iron Brigade losing almost exactly 50 per cent of its number — but so did units of foreign-born, notably some Pennsylvania regiments.

The Fifth New York, Duryee’s Zouaves, in which there were many foreigners, lost in the Second Battle of Bull Run [Manassas] over 60 per cent in killed and wounded, with none missing; the regiments went into battle with 490 men, but in less than ten minutes nearly 150 lay dead or mortally wounded. Though almost annihilated, it retired slowly, carrying off with it the flags and some of the wounded.

The ultimate of sacrifice was probably sustained by the Irish Brigade when it was hurled by General Pope against Marye’s Heights in December 1862, in a useless massacre. It may be said that the Brigade virtually ceased to exist, with an average loss in casualties per regiment of almost 41 per cent. Seven thousand men in all were entered on the rolls of the Brigade; less than 1,000 returned to New York.”
