Clint Eastwood on Donald Trump’s Racism: ‘Just F—ing Get Over It’

Via comment by Anonymous on Yes, the Leftmedia 'Rigs' Elections: The debate m...

“When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist,” says actor, director and producer who would vote for GOP nominee over Hillary Clinton

Clint Eastwood thinks America’s “pussy generation” needs to “just f–ing get over” Donald Trump’s “racism.”

In an interview with Esquire published Wednesday, the actor/director/producer said young America — which he has dubbed both the “kiss-ass” and “pussy” generation — needs to stop throwing the word “racist” around so freely.

“[Trump’s] onto something, because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up,” he said. “We’re really in a pussy generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells. We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren’t called racist.”

Menacing Tide of Abolitionist Fanaticism

 Judge Walter McKenzie Clark

A youth of fifteen when Fort Sumter fell, Walter Clark rose to the rank of major in the 35th North Carolina Regiment by the end of the war. Like most Southern men at the end of the war, he went back to his farm to eke out a living amongst the devastation. He found that an undependable labor supply would not bode well for the economic future of the South.
Bernhard Thuersam,   The Great American Political Divide

Menacing Tide of Abolitionist Fanaticism

“[At the close of the war] . . . the former slaves were thoroughly confused. These Negroes were being deceived by the report that Lincoln had promised to give each family a mule and forty acres of land and that they as free citizens would not have to work for anyone. Thus demoralized and imbued with false hopes, they staged the first great “sit down strike.” In an effort to secure dependable labor for the plantation, Clark visited Raleigh, Baltimore and even New York, but with little success.

On December 2nd 1865 he wrote [to the Raleigh Sentinel]:

“The picture of abandoned farms, stagnated business, a dejected people and open lawlessness is fearful to contemplate. We must rid ourselves of the dead body of slavery, and with it dispose of the perplexing problems of Negro suffrage and Negro equality forever. We have fertile lands, navigable rivers, inexhaustible mines, and a brave and generous people. We need labor to develop these resources and improve our advantages. To do this, however, the labor must be dependable. The conduct of the newly emancipated freedmen is a problem yet to be solved by the future. The prosperity of a great State should not depend upon a contingency.”

Clark pointed out that if the resolution for the abolition of slavery introduced in the Virginia and Kentucky legislatures in 1831 and 1832 had not been defeated by the menacing tide of [abolitionist] fanaticism, our own interests would have long since led us to abolish a system which is “at variance with the spirit of our institutions and the genius of the age and has been fraught with the most baneful effects.”

He strongly urged the importation of free white labor and advocated the industrial development of the State, saying: “The broad fertile fields, unexplored mines, unimproved waterpower and dwarf cities of North Carolina are imperiously calling for the influx of population.”

Feds to lift moratorium on funding of 'human-animal'' experiments

A plan to mix human stem cells with animal embryos to create chimeras – those creatures that have part animal and part human elements – soon will be getting taxpayer funding, under a new proposal from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The federal agency said Thursday that it is requesting public comment on its plans to open the door to public funding of the concept that could result in “animal models with human tissues or organs for studying human development, disease pathology, and eventually organ transplantation.”

The National Institutes of Health had announced a moratorium on the funding last year, but the change now is being proposed due to the interest in mixing human and non-human cells, and seeing the results.

National Public Radio said there have been concerns over the potential work.

EVERYTHING IS RIGGED: Medicine, science, elections, the media, money, education, search engines, social media... you are living in a fabricated fairy tale

 Rigged elections

After witnessing how Reuters just blatantly cooked the presidential election polls this week to favor Clinton and how the mainstream media is so terrifyingly biased in favor of Clinton that the very foundation of democracy is now in crisis, it's time to tell you something that perhaps a lot more people are finally ready to hear:

Every institution in America is sold out, corrupted and politically rigged to favor Big Government and Big Business. "America is a lost country," explains Paul Craig Roberts. "The total corruption of every public and the private institution is complete. Nothing remains but tyranny. And lies. Endless lies."

Ryan rebellion: Paul under siege on own Facebook page: 'We the People are fed up with corrupt, lying, Obama-loving politicians like you'

AMP Calypso has ranked the race
Poll Conducted 7-20 7-29
523 Actual Voters in Wisconsin District 1
Will Vote Paul Ryan: 41%
Will Vote Paul Nehlen: 46%
Undecided: 13%

If House Speaker Paul Ryan’s own Facebook page is any indication of how well he will fare in next Tuesday’s all-important primary race against upstart challenger Paul Nehlen, it might not be smooth sailing for the 16-year incumbent come Election Day.

In fact, Ryan’s campaign is showing signs of “melting down,” at least if social media is to be taken as a barometer. The level of antipathy toward Ryan on his two Facebook sites has been heating up in recent days as the election draws closer.

“There’s such a deluge of comments negative to Paul Ryan on Ryan’s own Facebook site. Ryan’s problems with Trump are also a big factor in the backlash, you can see that in the comments,” said William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration, or ALIPAC.

ALIPAC launched a new ad campaign earlier this week casting Ryan as “Lyin Ryan,” a politician who supports Obama’s amnesty orders and his expanded refugee resettlement programs, which funnel Shariah-compliant Muslims into more than 200 U.S. cities and towns from Syrian, Afghanistan, Iraq and Somalia by the tens of thousands annually.

Employee allegedly 'funneled tens of millions of dollars' to terrorists

Mohammed El Halabi, an employee of World Vision, the world’s largest evangelical Christian charity, has been charged in Israel with funneling tens of millions of dollars to the military wing of Hamas, a designated international terrorist organization affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood.

The arrest was made June 16, according to the Israeli daily Haaretz, but a gag order on the case files was lifted Wednesday and Halabi was indicted Thursday. The indictment reveals details of how Hamas infiltrated Federal Way, Washington-based World Vision, a global Christian outreach active in nearly 100 countries.

Halabi, director of World Vision’s Gaza branch, was detained at the Erez crossing in Israel as he was headed back to Gaza on his way home from “routine meetings,” several Israeli news outlets were reporting.

Halabi was being held since June “without access to legal counsel or family visits,” which is normal procedure in Israel for prisoners charged with terrorist-related crimes.

Wearing ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ insignia could be punishable racial harassment

Via Billy

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, among its other functions, decides “hostile work environment” harassment claims brought against federal agencies. In doing so, it applies the same legal rules that courts apply to private employers, and that the EEOC follows in deciding whether to sue private employers. The EEOC has already ruled that coworkers’ wearing Confederate flag T-shirts can be punishable harassment (a decision that I think is incorrect); and, unsurprisingly, this is extending to other political speech as well. Here’s an excerpt from Shelton D. [pseudonym] v. Brennan, 2016 WL 3361228, decided by the EEOC two months ago:

Gold Star Mom: Obama Used The Death Of My Son For A Photo Op

Via Billy

Karen Vaughn, mother of Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn who was killed in Afghanistan, blasted Barack Obama Thursday for using the death of her son in a photo op against her and other SEAL families’ wishes.

Appearing on CNN’s “Legal View,” guest host Ana Cabrera said, “Correct me if I’m wrong, but I heard you say you weren’t offended by Trump’s comments reacting to the Khan family and what has really created a bit of a controversy from people on both sides of the aisle. Is that what I heard correctly?”
“Yes, you heard that and just to clarify that, what I mean by that is, there’s just a lot more important things going on,” Vaughn said. “I mean this story has been going on for a week now, and I’m not saying that — Mrs. Khan probably had a right to be offended by it, but the thing is, let me just tell you my perspective. Words don’t mean as much to me as actions. That’s just me.”

“When my son was killed, he was killed in the largest loss of life in the history of Naval Special
Warfare, and we had 30 families at Dover Air Base waiting for our sons’ bodies to be returned from Afghanistan,” Vaughn said.  Then in an attempt to draw contrast, Vaughn said, “What we experienced there is the families unanimously asked Barack Obama to not bring any media, to not make this a media event, that he was welcome to be with us but no media. And you know he showed up with cameras, and the next day our pictures, or his picture saluting the caskets of our boys was plastered over every outlet in America.”

“I’m just saying if you’re going to just be outraged that one person says something that could be construed as a flippant remark without a lot of thought put behind it what about the outrage over things people do, the outrage over Hillary Clinton still to date insinuating those grieving parents who say she said one thing must be mistaken. You know, it’s just actions mean a lot more to me than words. That’s just kind of the angle I come from,” Vaughn said.

The Myth of the National Three Percent Organization

Via Iver

A lot of people claim to be part of the Three Percent. A lot of people claim to know what the Three Percent stands for…but do they? There are quite a few myths out there about who we are and what we believe, and sadly, even some of the folks who claim to be in the Three Percent believe those myths. Truth is important; we’ll be dispelling one of the biggest myths today, and we’ll do it by going back to the source of the III% founder himself. Why is it important? Because of this: “there are apparently many people who have adopted the moniker of Three Percenter, for whatever reason, but who wouldn’t recognize these principles if they came up and bit them in the ass.”
Let’s get started.

The Three Percent is a National Organization: False.

All over social media, you can find groups claiming to be III%. They post the symbols, use the lingo (or try to), and talk about things like unity and their “national affiliation.” Some of these groups pattern themselves after the military, and wear self-assigned rank (usually an O-3 or above; no one wants to be the butterbar, apparently). They call themselves every variation of Three Percent you can think of, and many of them claim national legitimacy.

The following statement needs to be very clear:

There is no national Three Percent organization, and there was never intended to be one. In fact, the idea of a national Three Percent organization goes directly against what the III% was designed to be. The III% is a local concept, meaning that its entire purpose was to foster cooperation and small groups locally for the purpose of active resistance, defiance, and preparation. Your neighbors, your church, your family and friends.

The Maya: Who Woulda Thunk it?

 Maya city

Inasmuch America has a large population of Latin Americans, it seems to me that people, or some people, might want to know about them, and what they are, and where they came from. Most Latinos of the south are either a mixture of Spanish and Indian, or sometimes pure Indian. We have some idea of the Spaniards. They were European. But what were the Indians? What is their contribution to the great numbers of–whether you like it or not–new Americans? In particular, what are their blood lines? Are they, as nativists insist, of very low IQ–83–and have they enstupidated the Spanish?

Horrendously primitive?

Without thinking about it, I had the entrenched idea that they were just that. I wasn’t conscious that it was either an idea or entrenched–just a fact. It didn’t occur to me that I knew virtually nothing about these  people, or that there was anything to know.

What pulled me up short was their architecture.

Hillary Clinton Actually Argues that FBI Director Comey said She was “Truthful”!

Via Billy

I cannot imagine the rage that FBI Director James Comey must have flown into on Sunday after hearing Democrat candidate for President Hillary Clinton say that the Director had actually said that she was “truthful” about her private server!

He must have been apoplectic.

Remember, the Director went through great pains back in July to explain that while he could not recommend charges be brought against her (because he could not “prove” intent), Mrs. Clinton had acted with atrocious judgment and with horrific behavior by choosing to use a private server.

While Comey exonerated Clinton legally speaking, he provided huge amounts of fodder that could badly hamstring her in the court of public opinion.

State Department Still Won't Reveal Details of $400 Million Payment to Iran

Via David

The State Department is still refusing to discuss the details of a covert payment worth $400 million to Iran that coincided with the release of four American hostages from Iran in January.

"I'm still frankly not prepared to talk about the mechanics," State Department spokesman Mark Toner told reporters Wednesday. "There's very little news to this."

The payment, which was sent to Iran in a cargo plane filled with foreign currency, was the first installment of a $1.7 billion legal settlement between the U.S. and Iran for a decades-old arms deal.

The administration has said that the payment, the hostage exchange, and the implementation of the Iran nuclear deal coincided by chance.

“We’re running against a rigged system,” Donald Trump said at a rally Tuesday, “and we’re running against a very dishonest media.”

Trump, inelegant as he is, nonetheless has a point. And one of the primary reasons he continues to resonate with millions of Americans is exactly because of his willingness to take on both.

We begin with a corrupt media. How corrupt? Two column headlines by MSNBC contributor and Hillary Clinton apologist Steve Benen epitomize the despicable double-standard. When Patti Smith, mother of Benghazi victim Sean Smith, spoke at the GOP convention, Benen’s column headline was “RNC manipulates the pain of a grieving mother for partisan gain.” When Khizr Khan, father of deceased U.S. Army Capt. Humayun Khan, spoke at the Democrat convention, his column headline was “Khizr Khan’s words won’t soon be forgotten.”

NC Democrat Deborah Ross wouldn't help Vietnam vet fight to fly American flag

Via comment by Anonymous on Nathan Bedford Forrest

 Deborah Ross

Just years after fighting for people’s right to burn the American flag, Deborah Ross, then an executive at the American Civil Liberties Union, rejected a plea for help from a disabled Vietnam veteran fighting for his right to fly the American flag on his property.

Ross, a Democrat running for U.S. Senate in North Carolina, was executive director of the ACLU’s North Carolina affiliate when she received a letter from Robert McClure alerting her about legal action to stop him from flying the American flag on his property.

“I have made it clear that I will not submit to the removal of my flag and pole, and That I am willing to protect my rights with what ever means needed,” McClure wrote in an April 2001 letter to Ross. “I am however only one person standing alone at this time and I need help.”

Nathan Bedford Forrest

This essay was published as a new introduction for Lytle’s Bedford Forrest and His Critter Company and is published here in honor of Forrest’s birthday, July 13.

This is a young man’s book. To have anything more to say about a book you did fifty odd years ago brings you hard up against the matter of time. The young author shows a familiar visage, as enigmatic as the portrait of a great-grandfather “struck” in his youth, gazing into the close air of the parlor. You know you are kin, but that youth belongs to the ancestors. Therefore to redo or revise in any real sense would mean to make another book. Fifty years can change more than the use and control of language. The world may go on for a thousand years and, outwardly at least, be always the same.

Then something appears out of nowhere, so sudden does it seem, and a shattering takes place; as for example when the stirrup was introduced into Russia by the Sarmations riding out of Siberia. They stopped with the conquest of Russia, but the stirrup did not stop there. The Goths took it into Rome.

It ended the stalemate between the mounted archers of Parthia and the Roman legion. It had its long history in Europe. It came to an end as an instrument of military power about a hundred years ago in Alabama.

Everywhere east of the Mississippi the Confederacy lay in ruins. The great Lee had surrendered, and the Army of Tennessee, constant in defeat, workmanlike always, was stopped forever at Goldsboro.

But Sherman had reported that “There will never be peace in Tennessee until Forrest is dead.” His very name, so long as his troops were intact, made all these larger victories unsure. Reports had it Davis was fleeing Richmond to join him, cross over into the Trans-Mississippi department and there carry on the war with Kirby-Smith. And then the news.
