A Sons of Confederate Veterans family day is planned for Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm. It will be held at Whitehall Confederate Memorial Park in Seven Springs NC. The physical address is 189 Budd Fields Road La Grange NC 28551.
This day is planned for all of us to relax in a Confederate friendly atmosphere! No one will be offended, if you bring and fly your Cross of Saint Andrews Flag "Battle Flag of Northern Virginia", you will be welcomed with open arms!
The speaker will be Army of Northern Virginia Councilman Ronnie Smith Roach. Confederate music will be provided by Worth Mason member of Peletier Camp 1769.
We will be replacing the Army of Northern Virginia Battle Flag with a new one, that flies 24-7!
Many different people, some SCV and some not, have contributed to the erection and upkeep of this Confederate Monument! We want to thank everyone for their support and gifts toward this endeavor!
The monument has been recently re-landscaped. A cannon has been added
All you need to bring is whatever you want to drink (non-alcohol) a dessert if you want it and a chair to sit in. The food will be provided at no cost! It is located on land behind our house and the restroom in our house will be open.
All of us know the attacks and name calling that our Southern Heritage has endured. We cannot and will not put our heads in the sand or our ears between our legs in shame! We or our Confederate Ancestors are guilty of nothing but standing up for God Almighty and the U.S. Constitution as it was originally written!
