The national Republican Party is as STUPID as you can get. Their poster child for stupidity is Sen. James M. Inhofe of Oklahoma.

Inhofe, who is chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, gave Elizabeth Warren a huge victory over millions of Republican voters in the South when he allowed her Section 377 into the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021, which requires that the names of century old U.S. Army bases in the South, such as Fort Benning and Fort Bragg, be changed.

Inhofe didn't need to do this. He has a Republican majority on the Senate Armed Services Committee, and President Trump is vehemently against it, but, again, Inhofe is an idiot.

I was recently gifted The South Was Right, by James Ronald and Walter Donald Kennedy, an updated version of a work originally produced in 1994. Seeking an antidote to the PC historiography in which our universities are now awash, I happily plunged into this printed gift.

The present “leftist ideologues,” more than their predecessors, hate the white South and have worked tirelessly to discredit it, facing no significant opposition. As a result, “everything associated with the traditional, conservative Bible-believing South has been demonized.” This is especially true since “older forms of Marxism,” the Kennedy brothers write, have been replaced by “Neo-Marxists composed of liberals, progressives, socialists and other social justice warriors.” Such complaints echo my own arguments about the rampaging “post-Marxist Left” that is taking over our country.

McConnell Blocks Initial $2,000 Stimulus Check Bill: Democrats ‘Quietly Changed’ What Trump Wanted To Give Money To Their Rich Friends

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky, left, speaks during a news conference following the Senate Republican policy luncheon on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., U.S., on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. The White House and Congress have only a few weeks to come up with another stimulus to prevent the economic rout caused by the coronavirus from deepening as the outbreak is surging across the country.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) blocked a $2,000 stimulus check bill on Wednesday, saying that Democrats “quietly changed” what President Donald Trump wanted in the bill. He said Democrats were attempting “to let wealthy households suck up even more money,” and that they were trying to do away with a repeal of Section 230 and a review of the recent election.

McConnell started out by slamming socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) for holding up the override vote on Trump’s veto of the National Defense Authorization Act.
