Washington has had the US at war for 12 years: Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, and almost Syria, which could still happen, with Iran waiting in the wings. These wars have been expensive in terms of money, prestige, and deaths and injuries of both US soldiers and the attacked civilian populations. None of these wars appears to have any compelling reason or justifiable explanation. The wars have been important to the profits of the military/security complex. The wars have provided cover for the construction of a Stasi police state in America, and the wars have served Israel’s interest by removing obstacles to Israel’s annexation of the entire West Bank and southern Lebanon.
As costly and destructive as these wars have been, they are far below the level of a world war, much less a world war against nuclear armed opponents.
The fatal war for humanity is the war with Russia and China toward which Washington is driving the US and Washington’s NATO and Asian puppet states. There are a number of factors contributing to Washington’s drive toward the final war, but the overarching one is the doctrine of American exceptionalism.

World war with WHAT? If the US Military wanted to wage a "limited war" like Vietnam five years from now they would need to (1) Restart the factory's to replace the equipment "downsized" and used up in the endless wars over the last twenty years. (2) Draft every male under 30 (and take two years to train them) as the total number of people in the military(ALL OF IT) is LESS than one million.(3) Find a new gold mine to fund a government that went stone broke twenty years ago. and finally(4) Get the support of a people that would rather hang shoot or burn at the stake its own government more than it would any other "power". Brock the Military Superpower of the US Government is G-O-N-E it is now all myth and memory. The US just got its ass kicked by fewer than 50000 untrained tribes men TWICE in 12 years and They can't blame the Hippies this time. No matter how bad the "big boys" want a world war there is nothing the US could do to wage one. We simply no longer have the infrastructure , weapons, or manpower ; and if we started today it would take ten to twenty years to rebuild all of it.---Ray
ReplyDeleteGood points. Thanks.
DeleteWhy hell yes they do. Smedley Butler laid it out in the '30's and Eisenhour in 1959. Wars are created by banksters and the industrial war complex who lure politicians into these wars, now called "police actions" by lobyists in behest of of these special interests. They use the politicians to propagate these actions to the regular folk as just causes for human rights. Ya, sure... and why is there genocide around the world happening in oil poor countries and there is no large scale action? yep, you figured it out... Our military is being used as mercenaries for banks and corporations. IMHO.
ReplyDeleteYes indeed and the video of his War is a Racket speech is excellent.

Sorry Wrench but the guys doing all the fighting right now are Mercenaries, "contractors" is what the CIA calls 'em. But Merc's don't work for free and the gold and silver are long gone down a hole. It doesn't matter what the big boys want, unless they plan to pay out of their own pockets .(FAT CHANCE!!) The US is too far in debt-to broke to start a war, and nobody on earth will lone us another sixty trillion dollars in gold to start one.---Ray
DeleteAnnoy... points well taken. However, if you noticed, they are trying to provoke "wars" drawing others into it and it isnt working anymore due to what you are pointing out. The poster boy and a few of his nemisis has squandered the wealth of the nation to where we are SOL.
