The thing is... the area that the "Eagles Lodge" is in, is not considered to be a bad part of north Spokane. I was just there night before last at a concert hall (my son's band was playing there). I've never had any real concerns about the area, been there many, many times. So when this Gentleman, this WWII vet (Awarded the Purple Heart) was beaten so badly, to later die of his injuries.... needless to say I was shocked! Bad things happen, I understand that, doesn't matter the time of day, or even the neighborhood that your in. That said, I was just shocked, that this Gentleman was attacked like that with so many people coming and going.... If anything it has brought to the forefront the need to stay sharp, (situational awareness) and be prepared to use deadly force in defense of yourself or others.

DeleteIndeed.
Strange to hear this! feeling amazed.
ReplyDeleteOh.. Parking lots are often dangerous, therefore I prefer meet & greet Gatwick because these options are safe!
ReplyDeleteIgnoring your ad, I must say I prefer the gun I carry.
