Education as a weapon against Southerners

By Michael

One of the greatest challenges we face

"Public education has long been used by the Establishment to oppose Southern identity, values and culture. The trend is towards greater centralisation of this formerly de-centralised institution. In the SNN video below I talk about this problem, how it contributed towards my development into a Southern nationalist and what can be done about the situation."

William Faulkner At UVA

One of my favorite quotes.

William Faulkner On Gettysburg

"For every Southern boy fourteen years old, not once but whenever he wants it, there is the instant when it's still not yet two o'clock on that July afternoon in 1863, the brigades are in position behind the rail fence, the guns are laid and ready in the woods and the furled flags are already loosened to break out and Pickett himself with his long oiled ringlets and his hat in one hand probably and his sword in the other looking up the hill waiting for Longstreet to give the word and it's all in the balance, it hasn't happened yet, it hasn't even begun yet, it not only hasn't begun yet but there is still time for it not to begin against that position and those circumstances which made more men than Garnett and Kemper and Armistead and Wilcox look grave yet it's going to begin, we all know that, we have come too far with too much at stake and that moment doesn't need even a fourteen-year-old boy to think This time. Maybe this time with all this much to lose than all this much to gain: Pennsylvania, Maryland, the world, the golden dome of Washington itself to crown with desperate and unbelievable victory the desperate gamble, the cast made two years ago.

Black Business Leader Describes His 2008 Vote for Barack Obama as ‘A lesson I will take to my grave’

“That is a lesson I will take to my grave,” said Harry C. Alford, National Black Chamber of Commerce president and CEO, describing his decision to vote for President Barack Obama during an interview today with conservative radio talk show host, Laura Ingraham.

Alford blasted Obama’s defense, energy and education policies and predicted Obama “will not get 35 percent of the black vote, and that’s gonna kill him.” In addition,

Re: A Matter of Grave Concern

Dear Sir:

I write to you as the editor of The Southern Cavalry Review, the newsletter of The Stuart-Mosby Historical Society so that you may be able to judge that I am not altogether ignorant of—or disinterested in—this subject. However, I do not write on behalf of anyone other than myself and certainly I am not speaking for the Society, its Executive Board or its members.

Yesterday I received a letter regarding the renewal of my membership in The Civil War Trust to which I gave considerable attention. Under ordinary circumstances I would simply renew, even in these economically depressed times, because the history of the War of Secession is a matter of interest and importance to me as well as one of grave concern.

I will be seventy on May 30th, (the original “Memorial Day”) and remember a time when what was called the “Grand Bargain” was in force in the nation albeit, fast passing away under rising pressure from the burgeoning civil rights movement. As you undoubtedly know, the Grand Bargain was a compromise almost spontaneously reached in the latter part of the 19th Century. People of foresight and patriotism determined to end any remnants of “the bloody shirt” and move towards a final healing of the wounds caused by many years of sectional strife followed by four years of bloody war and eleven years of what was euphemistically termed “reconstruction.” In this unspoken pact, the ill-feelings of those events would be, as Col. John S. Mosby put it, “consigned to oblivion” with both sides moving toward true reconciliation. For its part, the North would acknowledge that the South fought bravely (if mistakenly) for a noble cause, that its heroes would be considered honorable Americans and its symbols and heritage respected throughout the nation. In return, the South would admit that the North fought nobly and that, in the end, it was all for the best that that cause was lost and the Union maintained.

Thereupon followed decades of relative harmony. The South was well represented in the culture, its heroes elevated and its courage celebrated and in return, that section entered enthusiastically into the restored nation (which, in fact, it had done even before the Grand Bargain) giving many of its finest youth to the United States military to spill their blood in the nation’s defense. On the other side, the North gladly proclaimed the virtues of Southern heroes like Lee and Jackson and the noble efforts of a vastly outnumbered and outgunned Confederate military. Veterans North and South met and dined together at Gettysburg and the War was presented as a terrible affliction that in the end had served to strengthen the bonds between the sections as the years passed. Parenthetically, much of that “history” was more myth than truth—indeed, I never realized how much “myth” Southerners had to swallow until I began my own independent studies less than a decade ago! Nonetheless, the Grand Bargain helped to end much of the ill feeling between the sections, especially in the South.

If the Grand Bargain were still in effect, I would send in my membership promptly to help preserve the sites of this tragic conflict upon which the blood of so many was shed—North and South. But the Bargain, sir, is not only dead, but a wicked fiction has risen in its stead the result not of a bargain between estranged brethren, but rather an “agenda” in which special interest groups in the process of advancing their own stratagems have determined that Southern history, heritage and heroes and not past hostilities, should and, indeed, will be “consigned to oblivion” even at the cost of fundamental constitutional rights, personal liberties and historical truth.

Neither is this new “agenda” limited to any section. There are many in the South who support it either enthusiastically out of ideology or reluctantly out of fear or apathy. And, of course, there are those from other parts of the nation who do so for much the same reasons. Furthermore, the war being waged for nothing less than the cultural genocide of the South is neither of the “left” or of the “right;” it embraces the entire spectrum, ideological, academic and political. Leftists like “historians” Eric Foner and Ed Sebasta as well as figures on the right like commentators Mark Levin and Bill O’Reilly equate the Confederacy and her heroes with Hitler’s Nazis! Meanwhile, workers, students, businessmen and housewives are castigated and punished for daring to display the Confederate battle flag, a flag that was used by patriots in Eastern Europe as a symbol of their desire for freedom from the Soviet yoke! Then there is the example of a Southern youth attempting to enlist in the Marines and being refused because he had a battle flag tattoo. His father, a former Marine, came to the recruitment site, asked about the matter and when told that the flag was not “acceptable,” took his own medals and threw them in the trash stating that if the battle flag wasn’t “good enough” for the Marines, the Marines weren’t “good enough” for himself and his son! Such are the consequences of the present “agenda.”

Of course, Southerners are expected to keep their part of the original bargain and ignore credible, valid facts from incontrovertible sources regarding Northern atrocities and the political, military and economic chicanery of the Union previously ignored by mutual consent. However, when objective people do speak up, so strong is the hold of this agenda on the heritage community and beyond, that they are informed through veiled or even open threats that to depart from the “acceptable (politically correct) version” of history—the South was evil and treasonous and the war was about slavery and nothing but slavery—is to become a pariah and a persona non grata in the heritage community at large.

As well, the academic standards are such that anything seen as contradicting “official scholarship” (especially with regard to Lincoln) is rejected and frequently subject to what cannot be seen as anything but censorship. Fortunately, I am happy to say that the internet as well as the increase in publishing outlets especially those targeting Southern apologists have resulted in the rise of numerous “politically incorrect” publications and forums. Yet I know personally that sounding a “wrong note” on an internet “history list” results in ill-disguised contempt and rejection.

Ergo, before I contribute further, I must know the position of the Trust on this premeditated attempt at cultural genocide and the relegation of Southern heritage, heroes, monuments and symbols to the “ash heap of history” or, at best, some museum to be viewed in the same light as the swastika and iron eagle of Nazi Germany gathered from the rubble of war. Neither is it sufficient to say that as an organization, the Trust “doesn’t take a position” on such matters. Frankly, that just won’t wash. To begin with, you can hardly not take a position given the nature of your organization; and secondly, to remain silent and not openly oppose these attacks means that you are in effect saying “yes” to this campaign. In law, the meaning of silence is assent and the Trust’s silence will be seen as such on both sides. There is no “middle ground” here and trying to find such a thing or, in the alternative, sitting on the fence is unacceptable and impossible. Realistically, consider these actions with respect to the survival of a soldier on the battlefield! It is obvious that you either have to fight or surrender! And since neither of the above involves fighting, the only conclusion one can reach if the Trust says and does nothing is that you have surrendered.

Of course, your answer—or lack thereof—will be as widely publicized as it is in my power to do. But this is not a threat. I do not believe in extortion though extortion is the tool of choice for those trying to destroy Southern heritage—and it is wielded widely and indiscriminately as one can tell by the hundreds if not thousands of terrified politicians left in the wake of numerous confrontations with these bullies. Rather, I believe in letting in the light! It is my opinion that we never would have gotten where we are today if the intentions of those running the present “agenda” had been widely known from the beginning rather than being incrementally implemented in secret. We are now dealing with what was put into operation virtually unseen and undetected by the vast majority of decent people who believed that the original “Grand Bargain” was still essentially intact. Even when certain claims and demands were openly made early on, most of us were moved by a debate that seemed more important than a century old war—efforts to address acknowledged injustices suffered by American blacks. Few, except those involved, understood just how far the pendulum would swing towards injustice in the opposite direction. But injustice is injustice and the ends, even in the battle against injustice, never justify the means as surely as falsehood cannot be permitted to replace fact.

If the Trust is willing to go on record against cultural genocide, then I will certainly continue to support you. But if you do not wish to commit yourself or already have chosen to side with the haters of Lee, Jackson, Davis—and the truth, then the time has come for us to part ways. I see no value in protecting land while turning the history of that land into an atrocious fable of “patriotic, noble egalitarian heroes in blue vs. treasonous, brutal. racist villains in gray.” Frankly, it would be preferable that all was “consigned to oblivion” and forgotten rather than that liars and their agenda should prevail.

Very truly yours,

Valerie Protopapas

Confederate flag, 'Geronimo' are not big problems

Why would a Harvard professor by the name of Charles Olgetree Jr. concern himself with a Confederate flag on private property in front of the Caddo Courthouse? Why would the ACLU and the NAACP also be stirring up controversy in Shreveport? I, for one, do not have an answer to those questions.

Now I can surmise that Mr. Ogletree has nothing better to do at Harvard. Perhaps he is in charge of the Revisionist History Department. If so, he would want to completely change the history of the Civil War and wipe out 1860-64 completely.

I would suppose that everyone knows what "revisionist history" means. No? Well, a person who is not satisfied with the way history played out wants to change it to suit himself. This is what is happening with the Confederate flag. Mr. Ogletree wants to remove this flag from history.

RomneyCare: A 48-Day Wait to See a Doctor in Massachusetts

Wolf Files

A new poll of 838 Massachusetts doctors finds patients are still waiting weeks -- in some cases as long as a month and a half -- for non-urgent appointments with primary care physicians and certain specialists.

Surveyors for the Massachusetts Medical Society called doctors' offices in February and March and asked when they could come in for routine care. They requested a new patient appointment with internists, family practitioners, and pediatricians; an appointment for heartburn with gastroenterologists; a heart check-up with cardiologists; an appointment for knee pain with orthopedic surgeons; and a routine exam with obstetrician/gynecologists.

The average wait ranged from 24 days for an appointment with a pediatrician to 48 days to see an internist.

Almost half of Detroit unable to read

Almost half of Detroit is unable to read.

A study by the Detroit Regional Workforce Fund found that 47 percent of adults in the city are ‘functionally illiterate’.

‘Functionally illiterate’ means they struggle with day-to-day tasks, like reading job applications, following a bus schedule or understanding product labels.

Those deemed illiterate however have been educated. The report indicated that the same group found to be ‘functionally illiterate’ had completed element education, where reading is taught and half of the group had either a high school diploma or a GED.

Nearly half of the city’s population lacks the necessary skills to work in even the most entry level and remedial jobs.

False Flag Coming?

Naturally the common people don’t want war… Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders… All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism.

~ Herman Goering

"There has never been such an opportunity for the US government to stage a false flag event in order to start yet another war as there is today. The set up is obvious to libertarians and some sane others, but it eludes most all Americans who are busy dancing in the street after the so-called killing of Osama bin Laden........

........I understand that many are afraid, but we should not fear any foreign invader. We should only fear our own government because the threat will come from within. We are in a very precarious situation, but because this new threat is so conspicuous, we should be able to see it coming. We are moving inexorably toward the next false flag, but this time even more could be at stake. Nothing should be taken for granted, and none should be surprised by anything that happens."

Hitler’s Werewolf bunker: unexplored remnant of WWII

Final preparations are underway to mark Victory Day across Russia. But even decades after the end of WWII, some secrets from the war remain hidden.

Anyone today can enjoy a good walk in the forest near the central Ukrainian town of Vinnitsa. The tranquility of the area masks well what lurked there seven decades ago. The peaceful woods were once the site of a top-secret and highly-guarded Nazi command center – the Werewolf bunker.

“It was a huge complex, which had everything Germany’s command could need. There was an officer’s club, a sauna, a gym, a swimming pool and barracks. Some sources claim it went seven floors underground. Above the ground there were several wooden houses including a casino,” explained Svyatoslav Greben, director of the Museum of Glory in Vinnitsa.

Adolf Hitler ordered the construction of the bunker to control the Nazi war-effort on the Eastern Front. It is believed the Nazi leader himself visited the bunker three times, with his personal swimming pool thought to be about the only thing to remain intact at the site. The rest of the huge complex was destroyed in March 1944.

The main entrance to the bunker was blown up by the retreating German forces. When Soviet troops arrived, they went inside the facility and realized it was rigged with explosives. They took no chances and blew up the other two entrances, burying the Werewolf’s secrets forever.

To this day, it is not known what remains underground, as no one has ever managed to get inside the Nazi-era facility since the war. Many attempts have been made to gain access, but all have failed: the walls are massively thick, and the site is still restricted.

SpaceShipTwo makes near-vertical plunge towards Earth on test flight as space tourism dream edges closer

  • Latest test saw SpaceShipTwo deploy its twin tail sections in a way to allow it to gently return to Earth's atmosphere from the vacuum of space

After plunging towards Earth at a near-vertical angle, Virgin Galactic's SpaceShipTwo completed its latest test flight as plans to send tourists into space edged ever closer.

The 'maiden feathered flight' of SpaceShipTwo saw the rocket bend its wings into a near-right angle landing position after descending from 52,000ft.

SpaceShipTwo was lifted 6,000ft higher than during its last test flight in October, before an 11-minute descent demonstration which included 75 seconds in its 'feathered' mode.

"It is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth -- and listen to the song of that syren, till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those, who having eyes, see not, and having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it might cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it."

Who is the "Mystery Woman"? Audrey Tomason, her thesis, “Apocalypse Equation”, is the genocide of 4.5 billion people

Via Green Mountains Homesteading

Audrey Tomason: Situation Room Mystery Woman

Obama’s Director for Counter Terrorism – Audry Tomason definitely an evil entity

According to Ms Tomason’s “Apocalypse Equation” the “sustainable population” of our world can only be 1.5 billion human beings, as compared to the United Nations estimate of 7 billion we will reach on October 31st of this year, and the even worse figure of 10 billion estimated by 2100.

Ms Tomason argues in her thesis that our world’s population has been “artificially inflated” for the past nearly 100 years by a “non-sustainable” petrochemical and fossil fuel based global economy that if left “unchecked” could very well destroy all life on Earth, not just human beings.

Ms Tomason states in her thesis that any population suffering an economic collapse and reverting to “Basic Needs” will be “ungovernable” and pose “tremendous risks” to the state leading to “wholesale breakdown of law and order.”

Ms Tomason further argues in her “Apocalypse Equation” thesis that since the collapse of civilization as we know it is “inevitable,” world leaders should consider the possibility of “mass genocide” to reduce our world’s population to a more “sustainable level commensurate with our Earth’s resources.”

The chilling genocidal scenario envisioned by Ms Tomason begins with a “limited nuclear conflict” targeted at major population centers, but designed to limit the fallout of radiation. Next would be the release of toxic chemical and biological agents she suggests could be blamed on “terrorist entities” to be followed by forced mass migration of populations to more “sustainable living environments.”

Ms Tomason envisions these “sustainable living environments” as being large population centers with mass transit systems where no personal vehicles would be allowed and the rural areas would be completely depopulated except for government run agricultural “systems.”

Prior to the initiation of these apocalyptic events Ms Tomason argues for the establishment of government run and protected “concentration camps” where “persons of worth” can be protected while the masses of their fellow citizens die by the millions and billions. Those deemed “persons of worth” would include scientists, doctors, technical specialist, etc.
P.S. Audrey Tomason plans include the genocide of 4.5 billion people through “controlled” nuclear war and the remainder cleaned out with biological and chemical weapons.
I haven't found anything to confirm her thesis and the search returns four pages.
