Federal judge rules that Virginia may ban Confederate license plates

Via Billy

A federal judge ruled Friday that Virginia can stop issuing specialty license plates that show the Confederate flag, following a recent Supreme Court decision that said such a ban does not violate the 1st Amendment.

U.S. District Judge Jackson Kiser said he will issue a written order to address whether the nearly 1,700 Confederate license plates currently in use in Virginia may be recalled by the state.

  1. Banning the Confederate flag license plates most certainly does violate the
first amendment. There are a few license plate decorations I do not agree
with but making an issue with them is infringing on another's freedom
of speech. Yes sir, they just make the laws up to suit themselves and their friends.

  2. Can you believe this. FBI investigating the church in Atlanta where some soul/souls
placed Confederate flags. Did the FBI investigate the hate crime/terrorist attacks
( numerous attacks ) against the Confederate flag? Selective acts of terrorism like
    the stand-down on bill ayers.
