Trump should go blameless under this scenario while those opposed & Obamacare will not.
Office of Management and Budget director Mick
Mulvaney made clear Thursday evening that President Donald Trump is done
negotiating on the hotly-debated health care bill and wants a vote on
Friday.
And, if the president doesn't get a vote to repeal and replace Obamacare, he will move on to other priorities, Mulvaney said according to a source in the room during the tense talks with GOP members. A senior administration source confirms to NBC News the "very definitive, very clarifying" message from the president and the administration's intention to move on — should the health care bill fail to move forward — to other matters such as tax reform, trade and border security.

I supported Donald Trump, and I still support him. Having said that, I am not some sycophant. I expected President Trump to repeal and replace Obamacare. However, I expected it to be done in a proficient, professional manor. I doubt Trump decided one day to build a “High Rise Tower” and wanted it started in 60-days. I hope he does some planning. I do not understand the rush. The only thing that will be accomplished by this rush is a plan even worse than Obamacare.
ReplyDeleteI expected the replacement to be a well thought-out and designed plan. I expected republicans to get input from all sources. Instead we get some backroom deal, with little to no thought. I don’t understand.
There are solutions, but what is being rammed down our throats is just a republican version of Obamacare.
A Solution?

I don’t know is this is workable on a nation-wide basis. But ideas like this should be examined.
WTH IS WRONG WITH REPUBLICANS
For six-years, Republicans should have been working on a workable replacement for the travesty Obamacare. Instead, Ryan and the rest are trying to pass some lame ass plan. Once again, the citizens will be screwed because of politics. Do it right, or don’t do it at all…

DeleteAbsolutely and thanks. The only thing I can come up with is that Trump has been told this is the best he can hope for and still win in 2020.

I like it.
ReplyDeleteHe's saying "I tried, but these cucks wanted no part of helping the American people.".
Mr. Trump, give it your best shot and then move on. You've got plenty of other fish to fry.

I believe so also. He can always come back to it.
