Mississippi Auto Arms offers donations to Diaster Relief for orders in May

As a result of one of the worst storm systems the United States has seen in decades, the livesmillions of Americans have been drastically changed. Although Mississippi Auto Arms experienced power outages and minimal damage, many families located within a few miles from our store had their lives forever changed through injuries, loss or damage to their homes, or loss of loved ones. Although money cannot fix all problems created by the storm, we are trying to help with the recovery process by making a donation for all orders received during the month of May.

From now until the end of May, every non-dealer order we receive with a note in the comment section about the Lafayette County Tornado Relief effort, we will make a donation to the Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief Organization though First Baptist Church of Oxford for the relief efforts in Lafayette County. We will donate $20 for each Drum (MD Arms 12 gauge 20 round Drum, SKS 75 round drum, or Saiga .223 100 round drum) or 5% of the order total toward relief efforts in Lafayette County. Additional donations can be added to your order by clicking on the link on our homepage.

As a result of Hurricane Katrina, I lost everything that I owned except the clothes that I was wearing when the storm destroyed my families home. Following the disaster, the Baptist Relief Organization was the first organization in Hancock County, Mississippi to prepare food, provide housing, provide counseling services, provide a means of communication, provide medical aid, and help with reconstruction. I am thankful to this day for the volunteers that helped my family after Hurricane Katrina. Like with all disasters, there are teams of people throughout the country providing the same service for victims of the recent tornadoes.

We are not affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention Disaster Relief Organization and we are not a not for profit entity. For those of you who have sent me hate-mail and called me a racist (and other wonderful names), here's my response. Oh, and the problems with the birth certificate didn't end with apparent diddling in the graphic layers - there are also source document questions.

There's only one way we're going to get the truth - a forensic document examiner is going to have to go look at the certificate and authenticate it. The real one - not a printout.

But more to the point, can we please have a discussion about the actual issue?

That is, whether President Obama is a natural-born citizen?

See, he voted for the resolution stating that McCain is.

The most remarkable thing about civil unrest is that there hasn't been more of it.

Politicians are making a hash of this country—and much of the rest of the civilized world. We know it. They know it. They know we know it. But we don't feel we can do anything much to stop them.

That right there is the pre-condition for civil unrest—when people are frustrated and politicians are nervous.

Worse, that was how things stood before last fall's crash. Before pols on both left and right launched the biggest mass transfer of wealth in history—transferring our wealth (what we had left of it!) to their friends on Wall Street and in the banking industry. In other words, that's how things were before things got bad!

Now everybody's talking about the ongoing catastrophe (even if we are in a momentarily sunny mood). But almost nobody is talking about the logical—maybe even inevitable—consequences of cynical or desperate politicians abusing an already fed-up populace: civil unrest.

I mean people taking to the streets. Or mass resistance. Or crackdowns because the government fears we might do something to upset its apple cart. It's going to happen. Somewhere. At some time. It's going to.

One of the few VIPs to mention the matter openly was Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Advisor and the ultimate insider's insider. He commented on the millions of unemployed or soon-to-be-unemployed and the "...public awareness of this extraordinary wealth that was transferred to a few individuals at levels without historical precedent in America." He told "Morning Joe" Scarborough, "Hell, there could be even riots." I'd say that's an understatement.

"If you asked most people in the world who was the most famous American Western Outlaw in history, the name would most probably be JESSE JAMES. The name is so famous, it has become a part of our language. Movies have been made about him, books have been written about him, he is in TV advertisements, used to describe types of men, and all sorts of things. He is an American Western Icon. Some considered him a ruthless criminal. Others considered him a hero like Robin Hood who turned to crime because he had no choice. Both of these descriptions are true.

Jesse Woodson James was born September 5, 1847 in Missouri. At the age of three his father, Rev. Robert James, left Missouri to search for gold in California. His father died of yellow fever shortly after he arrived, leaving Jesse, his brother Frank, and his sister Susan orphans with a single mother, Zerelda, to raise them with little money on a farm in Clay County, Missouri.

In 1852, Jesse's mother Zerelda married a local farmer by the name of Benjamin A. Simms. Simms seems to have been a mean man to the kids so the James children hated him. Because he treated her children badly, Zerelda threw him out of her house and was going to divorce him. However, he was killed in some sort of accident with a horse.

In 1855, Zerelda married again to Dr. Rubin Samuel. Most writers say that the James children liked him and got alone OK with him. He treated them well and they respected him. Samuel had four additional children with Zerelda and the James children loved their half brothers and sisters. In 1863, Samuels even refused to tell a group of Union soldiers anything about his step son Frank James (who was at that time in Confederate Partisan Ranger service). For this, he was cruelly hanged three times to the point of death from a tree outside of his home. He survived but was never healthy again.

Jesse's older brother, Alexander Franklin (Frank) James joined the guerrilla group led by William Clarke Quantrill in 1861."
