“While GM denies that it intends to cut back or abandon its American operations, its 1997 Annual Report offers a somewhat different story. Inside the front cover, the report’s theme is splashed across three pages: “Go common. Go lean & fast. Go global. Go for growth. GM is going everywhere.” Well, perhaps not everywhere.

The Annual Report discusses new GM plants in China (Vice President Gore, true to his campaign donors, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the plant, which will begin production by the end of this year), Argentina, Brazil, Poland, and Thailand. No new plants are planned for the United States.

While Pablo Lopez Perez, a worker at GM’s truck assembly plant in Silao, Mexico says, “I like to think there’s work enough for everyone,” is it any wonder that American workers don’t trust GM when it argues that new factories in lower-wage countries don’t pose a threat to their jobs?”

An insidious piece of verbiage

Oathkeepers
Verbatim Post

Below is a letter composed by one of our peace officers in Ohio. This letter was written to raise awareness of the ominous problems in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012. Because Jim Singleton is a State chapter officer for Ohio Oath Keepers and is Ohio’s Peace Officer Liaison, this letter will be circulated within LE communities around Ohio. I am placing this letter on our national website as a guide and/or template for all Peace Officer members in Oath Keepers in all State chapters. All are encouraged to write their own letters and mail to all Peace Officer offices in respective States. Oath Keepers is mobilizing on various fronts in response to the travesty called NDAA-2012. Oath Keepers salutes current-serving Peace Officer Jim Singleton, our Ohio chapter Secretary.

Law Enforcement Liaison

Greetings and Salutations,

It’s unfortunate that I have to write this letter, however in light of current events it is inevitable. Just days ago the United States Congress passed the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) this in itself was necessary. However in this bill was an insidious piece of verbiage that for all intents and purposes destroys the foundation of everything we believe in and took an oath to uphold. To me the possibility of those citizens and others under my protection being spirited off in the middle of the night by agents of the military, then being summarily incarcerated without access to judge or jury are insufferable and intolerable acts.

It will be argued that this only applies to foreign persons or others suspected of terrorism, but there are far too many avenues available to apply this to any group to which any administration may take umbrage with. When growing up and especially during our training in the academy we are instructed that the constitutional rights of all must be upheld at all times, as well as the respect for all people we come in contact with or represent. This section of the NDAA attempts to remove those rights which are enumerated and given to us by our creator, and places them in the hands of the office of the President of the United States to be disregarded at his whim.

And in those few words lies a conundrum, do we as police officers, sheriffs, deputies and others who have taken the oath to uphold and defend the constitution, now turn our back on that very oath? Do we now turn against the very same people that entrusted us with a most sacred duty to serve and protect them? If in fact we follow a rule of law such as this bill enacts, it would mean that the oath that we all took meant nothing. We are obliged to follow all lawful orders given to us, but we cannot do this blindly. History has seen the result of these acts and has judged them accordingly. I can only ask all of you to take a moment to reflect upon all that we are taught and hold dear, the people we serve deserve and demand our highest respect for it is through them and they alone that we were given this oath. Do we simply turn a blind eye for the sake of political expediency and lose our respect? Is a few pieces of silver so dear that we would sell our honor for it? How will we explain to our friends and loved ones why members of our community were spirited away or how will they see us when they realize (that when their time comes) we won’t be there for them?
I believe that if and when those orders come, I cannot in good faith and in strict observance to my oath, allow myself to be a part of them. I would hope that members of our military in accordance to the articles of the UCMJ, would also refuse them as well. When that time comes I will do exactly as I have sworn to do, I will serve and protect those under my care, so help me God.

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8

Respectfully Submitted
James B. Singleton

Newthink, oldthink, crimethink, racistthink, groupthink & slaveholderguiltthink

Comment on : The End of the Dream or The end of the world as we know it.

The math of our current economic payline will not work, there is more debt than there is money in the world to pay it back. The government covers it up with 'newthink' telling us that 'oldthink'is politically incorrect. To speak of liberty and god-given rights is 'crimethink', critical thought or speach is 'Racistthink'. Balancing the budget is very racist in 'newthink'. Paying you bills on time is 'oldthink'. Talking about founding fathers is 'slaveholderguiltthink'. This is what Orwell warned us about in the novel 1984. He was a socialist, but hated marxists. He Thought totalitarians could only come for the right, for he fought for the Loyalist in spain, but now we see it does also come from the left. StatistSocialism is the new realism, and in this statist society, their is no room for God, the Church or free thought. Only groupthink, groupharmony, wich leads to groupsuicide.

Eric Holder's “A Noble Lie“ & more

Attorney General Eric Holder certainly has much to answer for and it is even possible that after so many years, the Attorney General might be close to paying his dues to the Trentadue family for his role in obstructing the investigation into the death of Kenneth Michael Trentadue back in 1995.

Right now, all eyes are on Fast and Furious, a program of the ATF that was overseen by the DOJ with Holder at the helm of that agency.

Operation Fast and Furious

Members of Congress calling for Attorney General Eric Holder’s immediate resignation
WASHINGTON – New documents obtained by CBS News show Attorney General Eric Holder was sent briefings on the controversial Fast and Furious operation as far back as July 2010. That directly contradicts his statement to Congress.

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-31727_162-20115038-10391695.html

The public is rightfully angry and they have their eyes trained on Holder so it is no surprise that a recent article posted by the American Free Press attacking Attorney General Holder caught some attention. The problem with the article is that it was inaccurate and unsubstantiated.

It wouldn’t be worth mentioning except that the flawed information could do a real disservice to a gentleman that has been working for years to try and right a wrong and in the process has uncovered a huge amount of damning information related to the OKC bombing and been a great thorn in Eric Holder’s side to boot.

Articles like the one put out by the AFP (which has been removed as of yesterday) are a distraction from the facts which are explosive enough that they need no embellishment.

Jesse Trentadue is a Salt Lake City attorney and was recently interviewed about his ongoing efforts to obtain justice for his brother in the newly released documentary “A Noble Lie“.

Why is the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD SPYING on Americans via FACEBOOK?

Great job.

It has been brought to light by GRUMPY OPINIONS and MAGGIE’S NOTEBOOK that we are being monitored folks by none other than the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD and I suspect with the blessings of Barack Obama and Mark Zuckerberg, owner of Facebook.

If you recall, Obama for America has been monitoring everything that you and I have to say about the anointed one for some time now.

On facebook debate is raging about whether or not Jesse Ventura is a SEAL based on the report of a SEAL Sniper punching Jesse Ventura in the face. It is an honest question, one that any Reference Librarian can look into the history books and say, "No, he was not a SEAL, he wore the UDT Badge and was assigned to UDT 12, clearly he was not a SEAL." However he was assigned to SEAL Team One as a Reservist for two years, 1973 to 1975. Kinda like being a Special Forces Operator in the National Guard, you wear the same tab as the active guys, but get less respect.

In the Army we have the same debate over "who is a Ranger" quite often, but let us look at some history. The 5307th Provisional unit fought its way through Southeast Asia without ever using the term "Ranger", but that unit affectionately called "Merrill's Marauders" became the parent of the current 75th Ranger Regiment. But in 1945 if you asked a Marauder if he was a "Ranger" he might have looked at you funny and asked, "What's a Ranger?" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merrill's_Marauders

Conversely, on the other side of the planet, the 29th Provisional Ranger Battalion was training with British Commandos, the 2nd and 5th Ranger Battalions were prepping for Operation Overlord. So Which one of these units was a real "Ranger?" It is a good question. It gets even fuzzier when you look at when the Airborne Ranger companies popped up in the Korean War. Still to this day if you earned the Ranger Tab you are a "Ranger" or if you served with a Ranger unit you are a Ranger (even if you didn't earn the tab).

Now the UDT/SEAL story is similar. In 1975 the US Navy declared the UDT Badge "obsolete" and all UDT Badge holders needed to apply for the Naval Special Warfar (SEAL) badge instead. So the question is, is Jesse Ventura a SEAL?

The answer is, he earned the right to wear a SEAL badge, whether he ever put in the paperwork to change badges is another matter considering it wasn't until the year he left the navy that his UDT Badge became obsolete. The same way a Marauder might not have known what a Ranger tab looked like in 1944, but when the 75th Regiment was formed the Marauders were retroactively authorized the Ranger Tab. So to a Marauder who was enjoying civilian life in the 1970's when the Regiment stood up, what would the retroactive award of a Ranger tab mean? It means he is a Ranger. The same way that Jesse Ventura is a SEAL.

Bottom line is that anyone accusing Jesse Ventura about "lieing about being a SEAL" is either uninformed or simply trying to split hairs to sling mud at Jesse Ventura. This is a non-issue as there are plenty of other aspects of Mr. Ventura's colorful life to take umbrage against, but the whole UDT/SEAL distinction is non-existant the same way a Marauder is a Ranger.

A Century of "Bolshevism"

Via Looking in the Mirror

Communism, for a long time, was simply “Bolshevism” in the western world. The Russian term means “majority” and it originated during the Second Party Congress of the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party in Brussels in 1903. Party Chairman Vladimir I. Lenin caused a procedural vote during the congress regarding who should be allowed to join the party. Lenin favored limiting membership in the party to professional revolutionaries, while his opponents favored allowing in those who generally supported the party but who were not constant agitators. Lenin won the procedural vote and so cast his faction thereafter as “Bolsheviks,” while the side which lost was called “Mensheviks” or “minority.”

All were communists. Marx himself used the term “communist” and “socialist” interchangeably. The nuanced differences that we see today between communists and socialists have nothing to do with different ultimate goals. All want to destroy free enterprise and establish control of a political party which will rule in the interest of the proletariat. The Russian Social Democratic Labor Party was, simply, the Communist Party of Russia, and that continued after the Bolshevik-Menshevik split.

In fact, a perusal of the names given to communist parties around the world shows that communists simply use a particular name as a way of appearing to be what they wish. The communist party in East Germany was called the “Socialist Unity Party”; in Poland it was called the “Polish United Workers Party”; in Hungary, the “Hungarian Working People’s Party”; and in North Korea, the “Workers Party of Korea.”

At the time of the Bolshevik/Menshevik split, many Marxists in Europe were “Fabian Socialists” who urged their fellow ideologues to adopt the tactics of Quintus Fabius when he confronted Hannibal in the Second Punic War. Rather than try to defeat the brilliant Carthaginian general in the field, Fabius followed his army around Italy, slowing depleting Hannibal’s forces and harassing his troops until Hannibal was whittled down to nothing. The brand of Marxism we call “socialist” or “progressive” today is very much alive, advocating gradual measures which ratchet our nation toward an imagined Marxist utopia.

What was true in 1912 and in 2012 was true throughout the last century. Consider, for example, the partisan breakdown of the Chamber of Deputies in France in 1930 (other years show very similar results). These are the parties and their strength in that chamber:

Massive Muslim Paedophile Ring Hidden By Media

Via Tom

On the 3rd January 2012 in Liverpool Crown Court 21 Muslims allegedly involved in a massive paedophile gang who are alleged to have been targeting primarily white children in the Manchester area were sent for a pre-trial hearing.

We have been informed from sources inside the court that the media have been asked by the Liverpool police to keep this case out of the papers.

There is a massive Muslim rape / grooming epidemic in our country targeting primarily white children for rape.

The media have mentioned a few cases, but hidden many.

There has been no public inquiry into the full extent of this crime wave, no investigation by the Equality Commission as to its extent and even childrens charities that are supposed to protect children from perverts involved in such crimes are refusing to investigate such cases out of political correctness.

This year we must begin the civil rights struggle to get the media to cover these cases and for our community and children to be protected.

If we dont then these crimes against humanity will continue in Britain.

UPDATE - by checking some of the names on the above court list we can confirm they are the same ones from Rotherham who are mentioned in this article.

21% OF DEMS HAVE LEFT PARTY

Via Billy

According to the latest Rasmussen Poll, 21% — more than one in five — Democrats have abandoned the Party since Obama’s election as president. While most have become Independents, identification with the Republican Party has also risen not only since 2008 but also even since the GOP’s 2010 victory.

Rasmussen, who tracks voters’ party identification (self-described) every month, shows that Democratic Party identification, has dropped by eight points (or 21%) since Obama’s election in November, 2008 while Republican Party identification has risen by three points over the same period. Despite speculation in the liberal media that the Republicans in Congress have mishandled their mandate since winning the House in 2010, the Republican edge over the Democratic Party has grown from 1.3% in November of 2010 to 2.7% in December of 2011.

Changes in party identification are the most fundamental – and important – measure of political opinion in the country. They are like tectonic plates that shift beneath the surface of the political earth, sending quakes through the system. A shift of such an order of magnitude will rank high on the political Richter scale in 2012.

So dramatic a shift, totaling eleven points since Obama’s election (Dems down by 8, Republicans up by 3) means that had Obama faced McCain in the current political environment, he would have won by five rather than losing by six.

But even that doesn’t tell the story. Surveys of Independents find that they have long since jumped from the Obama ship. His job approval among Independents consistently ranks in the low 30s. He cannot expect much relief from that corner.
