A Power Grab of Monumental Proportions
In “Obama Flexes His New Powers,” author James Best explains the connection between ObamaCare’s contraception mandates and the 25 billion settlement for banks robo-signing foreclosure documents. “Both,” he writes, “reflect new and purposely unchecked executive power given to the president when Democrats controlled both houses of Congress.”
Add an executive power grab over education through stealth and misdirection and you have an expansion of executive power so far beyond constitutional limits as to be unimaginable only a decade ago. Some may recall that critics called No Child Left Behind, the Bush administration iteration of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, (ESEA), an “intrusion of the federal government into an area that both the U.S. Constitution and tradition have left to the jurisdiction of the states.” They were right.
Ron Paul takes.....3rd?
VERBATIM POST
And Ron Paul takes 3rd.
While I don't think Dr. Paul is Jesus, I don't think he can wave a wand and make everything OK, 3rd?
This just cements in my mind the fact that the good ol' USofA is so screwed we don't even have a clue.
What we have to conclude is that the American people want more war, want more government intrusion. We love the TSA degrading us and humiliating us. We love the Patriot Act. We love the NDAA. We hate the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. We want the government to take care of everything in our lives from cradle to grave. We enjoy the EPA destroying our economy with regulation. We love the fact that the Fed is completely destroying our currency and is stealing from us with inflation.
We are just fine with the government killing us without due process. We have no problem with the government breaking into our homes without warrant. We want perpetual war with the world. We love debt.
We love the big central government.
We will do nothing to change it.
We will continue to place the blame on the "other guy" while the new guy does us worse. We are the dumbest most blind sheeple in the course of humanity.
Nothing so great in humankind was ever given to any man as far as government is concerned than the one we were given 200 some years ago. And we not only have forgotten it, we have rejected it quite loudly.
This country is screwed.
Again, I don't think Ron Paul is a savior. But I would have some hope if I saw a large group of Americans cling to what he represents.
Liberty.
But we don't love Liberty anymore. Our Nation cannot even define it as a people anymore.
What is there to fight for? This piece of dirt my house sits on is no different than any other dirt in this world anymore. Why stay here?
Thanks, Ron Paul, for being a hero for Liberty in a world that hates it so much.
America, you're going to wish you listened to this man. I predict you will wonder what hit you, very soon.

Progressive Consolidation of Power
With little difference between the 1930s platforms of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and today’s Democrat Party, the latter can be expected to continue the overall strategy below. The Democrats now refer to themselves as Progressives.
Bernhard Thuersam
Progressive Consolidation of Power:
“When once the communists have come to power…the next step is to establish the dictatorship of the proletariat. Lenin defined this as “the rule – unrestricted by law and based on force – of the proletariat over the bourgeoisie, a rule enjoying the sympathy and support of the laboring and exploited masses.”
But since the Communist Party considers itself the executive of the proletariat, this rule is exercised in practice by the Communist Party.
The dictatorship of the proletariat is accompanied by a monopoly of the means of communication by the Communist Party. Every medium of mass communication is taken over. Every newspaper is a communist newspaper. Every radio station, every television channel, every book, every magazine, every school class is completely controlled by the Communist Party.
Under the dictatorship of the proletariat, an economic monopoly is gradually established whereby the Communist Party becomes the sole employer. A man then has but one choice – he works for the Communist Party where he is told to work, or he starves to death. He may not leave his job to go to another, for there is only one employer – the Communist Party.
Yet another feature of the dictatorship of the proletariat is the establishment of a vast, internal espionage network. The Communist Party sees the State, not as a mass of individuals, but as an organic unity, a higher form of being….[with] secret police]. Children are set to spy on their parents, wives on their husbands, employees on employers, pastors on their congregations, parishioners on their pastors. Every group, large or small, would have in its midst a number of informers. None of these informers would know who the others are. Thus a stream of information from every segment of the community flows back to the central authority.
With such a system in existence, it is inevitable that a revolt that has any organization whatsoever will be discovered at birth and strangled in infancy.
The communists set about to disarm the people completely. Great rewards were given to those who would tell where weapons were hidden, and the rush to deliver concealed weapons began.
A major assault was made on the child[‘s] mind. Their affections were turned from their parents towards the State. They were given guns and appointed sentries with orders to challenge, and, if necessary, shoot adults. The school children would be marched out and given the task of searching all shops in an area for weapons and currency, and of accosting and searching all adults in the area.
Finally there came the day of the mass trials and executions. Behind the prisoners the school children would march to observe the execution. Then came the general populace.
The dictatorship becomes even more intense. The powers in the hands of the top few become greater and greater until finally there emerges the man of all power, the Joseph Stalin, who sits in the seat of the mighty while millions of slaves rush to and fro to do his bidding.’
(You Can Trust the Communists (…to do exactly as they say), Dr. Fred Schwartz, Prentice-Hall, 1961, pp. 96-101.
March 7, 2012 Investors flee Carbonite after Limbaugh announcement
On Saturday, Carbonite CEO David Friend released a statement on his company’s website declaring that Carbonite had decided to “withdraw” advertising from Rush Limbaugh’s radio show in the wake of his controversial remarks involving Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke because it will “ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse”:
Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.
However, it hasn’t done much to contribute to his company’s stock price. Since the market opened on Monday through its close today, Carbonite stock (NASDAQ:CARB) has plummeted nearly 12 percent, outpacing the drop of the NASDAQ index in that same time period by nine-and-a-half points. It was also one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ on Tuesday.
Texas: High School’s Chant of “USA, USA, USA” Deemed Racist…
A local school district is apologizing after an apparent incident of racism at a boys high school basketball game this past weekend.
When the final whistle blew Saturday, Alamo Heights celebrated a convincing victory over San Antonio Edison.
Alamo Heights Head Coach Andrew Brewer said he was proud of his team.
"Tremendously proud,” Brewer said. “Tremendously. It's the best group of kids."
But it was just after the trophy presentation when the coach was not proud of the chant coming from Alamo Heights fans.
"USA, USA, USA," they chanted.
San Antonio Independent School District officials took the chant as a racial insult to a school with all minority players from a school with mostly white ones.

Petition to Stop the IRS from Silencing the Tea Party
Petition to Stop the IRS from Silencing the Tea Party
To: John Boehner, Speaker of the House
Darrell Issa, Chairman, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee
Senator Orrin Hatch, Ranking Minority for Senate Finance Committee
Tea Party groups are made up of law-abiding citizens who care deeply about this country. They have followed the law and requested tax-exempt status for their activities just like Americans have done for a hundred years. President Obama's IRS appears to be using this as an opportunity to intimidate - to silence - these law-abiding citizens from exercising their fundamental First Amendment rights. Incredibly, the IRS is demanding to know who Tea Party members are, who they associate with, who they talk to, and who they meet with. We respectfully ask that the House of Representatives conduct oversight hearings, investigating these intrusive, and to some threatening IRS tactics, which violate the First Amendment rights of Americans.
