Well, here I go again!

Regarding the Benghazi Embassy assault cover-up, I have some thoughts.

First of all, to refresh your memory, President Nixon was forced to resign for his participation in the Watergate Burglary cover-up.  President Nixon did not plan or participate in the Watergate Burglary, but to protect the perpetrators, he lied and tried ti cover-up the incident.

The burglary attempt was bungled,  nothing was stolen, no one was injured.  At the time it would have been considered a political trick gone bad and would have been soon forgotten in the heat of the political campaign.

For this, President Nixon was impeached and forced to resign.

In Benghazi, our Embassy was burned and looted, our Ambassador, along with three other embassy employees were killed. The discovery of recent E-Mails show that top Administration Officials were in the White House Situation Room observing in real time the assault on the Embassy.  They also had knowledge that Military Special Forces
 were stationed less than two hour away from Benghazi. In addition two Navy Destroyers were stationed off the coast of Lybia.

It has also been discovered that the Navy Seal was killed seven hours after the attack began.  This was five hours after, had they been dispatched, military assistance would have arrived,

In view of what was happening, with full knowledge in real time of this assault on American Soil. what did our President do?  HE WENT TO BED AND THE NEXT MORNING, FLEW TO LAS VEGAS TO ATTEND A FUND RAISER.

This was a deliberate, deceitful, dereliction of duty by the President, aided and abetted by the Secretary of State, the U.N. Ambassador and other top administration officials.

If President Nixon could be impeached for the actions of his staff and the subsequent try to cover-up of a Political Dirty Trick attempt, which was of no significance , the question arises:

In an event were our Embassy is burned and looted, our Ambassador killed along with three other Embassy employees, where the President and his administrators try to cover their dismal failure to respond to a life and death situation evolving before their eyes: 

SHOULD PRESIDENT OBAMA BE HELD TO THE SAME STANDARDS THAT LED TO THE IMPEACHMENT OF PRESIDENT NIXON?

A rumor speeds like wildfire, especially when  there is a iota of truth in it, but goes viral when the facts are overwhelming.

The rumor would be, that according to confidential sources, a Congressional Committee is making perpetration for President Obamas Impeachment on dereliction of duty grounds.

In Politics it takes two to tango, but now, only you would be leading not following.

"Women of Color" Racist

In Utah Valley magazine, the phrase "Women of Color" means women who bring color to life -- such as the women who work at the magazine.

But when the phrase "Women of Color" became the headline for Utah Valley editor Jeanette Bennett's column in the July/August issue, the famously snarky gossip site Gawker.com noted that the phrase has a more traditional meaning: Women of African-American, Asian, Hispanic or other ethnic heritage.

And the photo accompanying Bennett's column showed that the seven members of the Utah Valley staff have two things in common: They are all women, and they are all Caucasian.
"That was not intended as an ethnic comment," Bennett told Gawker's John Cook. "It was just clever wordplay. It was that women add color, and there's more than one meaning of color."
By the way, since the Gawker item ran Monday, the headline on Bennett's column has been changed in the magazine's online version. It now says "Colorful Women."

Movie Review -- Taken 2, A Near Miss

Liam Neeson does it again, but with a bit more effort. Taken 2 is a good sequel for those who were fans of the original, but it is not great. The opening scenes are edited with flash bang wizardry and get you into the film without time to fasten your seat belt. Bryan (Neeson) invites his estranged wife. the competent Lenore (Famke Janssen), on a holiday in Istanbul with his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace). Lenore and Kim hem and haw about wanting to go, but then appear in Istanbul surprising Bryan. But the family does not surprise the Albanian terrorists who are laying in wait for Bryan because he killed their sons.

Moored Krasniqi (Rade Sherbedjia) has vowed to seek revenge for Bryan's bloody murderous swath of his family. Bryan and Lenore are almost immediately captured leaving Kim to hold the familial fort. Kim does a bang up job of taking direction from Bryan over her cell. (Oh, where would we be without technology in these action films.) Here the plot loses a bit of credibility as Bryan instructs Kim over the cell about to find Lenore and him in congested Istanbul with one marketplace built upon the other. Lenore is being tortured by the Albanians while Kim has managed to escape the terrorists who had wanted to capture the entire family and transport all three to Albania, then kill them in a public demonstration of loyalty to the sons that Bryan slaughtered.

The acting is top drawer and Neeson manages to hold the audience's attention save for fleeting moments of laughter when Neeson is a bit too deft with his ability to kill off Albanians.

The real reason behind Benghazigate: Obama engaged in gun-walking on a massive scale?

It's coming hot and heavy.

President Obama’s once seemingly unstoppable march toward re-election hit what he might call “bumps in the road” in Benghazi, Libya, late on Sept. 11, 2012. It might be more accurate to describe the effect of the well-planned and -executed, military-style attack on a diplomatic facility there as the political equivalent of a devastating improvised explosive device on the myth of the unassailability of the Obama record as commander in chief.

Thanks to intrepid investigative reporting — notably by Bret Baier and Catherine Herridge at Fox News, Aaron Klein at WND.com and Clare Lopez at RadicalIslam.org — and information developed by congressional investigators, the mystery is beginning to unravel with regard to what happened that night and the reason for the subsequent, clumsy official cover-up now known as Benghazigate.

The evidence suggests that the Obama administration has not simply been engaging, legitimating, enriching and emboldening Islamists who have taken over or are ascendant in much of the Middle East. Starting in March 2011, when American diplomat J. Christopher Stevens was designated the liaison to the “opposition” in Libya, the Obama administration has been arming them, including jihadists like Abdelhakim Belhadj, leader of the al Qaeda franchise known as the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group.

Once Moammar Gadhafi was overthrown, Stevens was appointed ambassador to the new Libya run by Mr. Belhadj and his friends. Not surprisingly, one of the most important priorities for someone in that position would be to try to find and secure the immense amount of armaments that had been cached by the dictator around the country and systematically looted during and after the revolution.
One of the places in Libya most awash with such weapons in the most dangerous of hands is Benghazi. It now appears that Stevens was there — on a particularly risky day, with no security to speak of and despite now copiously documented concerns about his own safety and that of his subordinates — for another priority mission: sending arms recovered from the former regime’s stocks to the “opposition” in Syria. As in Libya, the insurgents are known to include al Qaeda and other Shariah-supremacist groups, including none other than Abdelhakim Belhadj.

Fox News has chronicled how the Al Entisar, a Libyan-flagged vessel carrying 400 tons of cargo, docked on Sept. 6 in the Turkish port of Iskenderun. It reportedly supplied both humanitarian assistance and arms — including deadly SA-7 man-portable surface-to-air missiles — apparently destined for Islamists, again including al Qaeda elements, in Syria.

What cries out for further investigation — and debate in the remaining days of this presidential election — is whether this shipment was part of a larger covert Obama effort to transfer weapons to our enemies that could make the Iran-Contra scandal, to say nothing of Operation Fast and Furious, pale by comparison.

Jeep, an Obama favorite, looks to shift production to China

Jeep Wrangler behind the president as seen in his new second term agenda binder.

In another potential blow for the president's Ohio reelection campaign, Jeep, the rugged brand President Obama once said symbolized American freedom, is considering giving up on the United States and shifting production to China.

Such a move would crash the economy in towns like Toledo, Ohio, where Jeeps are made and supplied, and rob the community of the economic security they thought Obama's auto bailout assured them.

Obama is such a fan of Jeep that he included a picture of himself speaking at the Toledo plant in his newly released second term agenda binder. In his address to the plant in 2011, Obama said, "I just took a short tour of the plant and watched some of you putting the finishing touches on the Wrangler. Now, as somebody reminded, I need to call it the 'iconic' Wrangler. And that's appropriate because when you think about what Wrangler has always symbolized. It symbolized freedom, adventure, hitting the open road, never looking back."

Well it appears that the taxpayer bailed-out Chrysler is looking back and now considering cutting costs by shifting production of all Jeeps to China, which has a strong desire for Jeeps.
In a Bloomberg interview, Jeep's president said the automaker plans to restore Jeep production in China, suspended in 2009, and is considering making all Jeeps in China. "Fiat SpA, majority owner of Chrysler Group LLC, plans to return Jeep output to China and may eventually make all of its models in that country, according to the head of both automakers' operations in the region," reported the business wire service.

Wirz Memorial Set for Sunday November 4

One hundred and four years ago, on May 12, 1908, the United Daughters of the Confederacy unveiled a monument to the memory of Captain Henry Wirz in Andersonville, Georgia.

Our young people are taught about the so-called infamous Andersonville Prison where Captain Henry Wirz served as Commandant but what about the infamous Union prison camps in Chicago and Elmira in New York?

The Alexander H. Stephens Camp Sons of Confederate Veterans invite you to attend a 37th Annual Captain Henry Wirz Memorial Service to be held in the town of Andersonville, Georgia on Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2012 at 3 PM. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in the old restored Andersonville Baptist Church --  now called the "Village Hall."

Starting at 2:00 p.m. the musical group from Leesburg, GA, "A Joyful Noise," will provide music for an hour.  They have played and sung before a number of groups for several years, and they will be playing Southern songs and Gospel Hymns. They will be singing "Amazing Grace" and "Dixie" during the 3:00 p.m. Memorial Service.

The guest speaker is Ms. Cassy Gray from Fairfield, Ohio. Greetings will include that which will be read from Col. Heinrich Wirz of Bern, Switzerland, the great grandnephew of Capt. Henry Wirz.

Mayor Marvin Baugh will read a proclamation declaring Nov. 4 as Capt. Henry Wirz Day in Andersonville.

Who was Captain Henry Wirz?

In April 1864, Wirz, born in Switzerland in 1822,  was appointed Commandant of Andersonville Prison. It has been written that the Union prisoners numbered 32,000 at Andersonville in August 1864. During this time food and medical supplies were scarce for both Union prisoners and their Confederate guards. The blockade of Southern ports was also very effective and Union President Abraham Lincoln halted the exchange of prisoners.

On August 18, 1864, Union General Ulysses S. Grant said:

"It is hard on our men in Southern prisons not to exchange them, but it is humanity to those left in the ranks to fight our battles. At this particular time to release all Rebel prisoners north, would insure Sherman’s defeat and compromise our safety." 

Why wasn’t Captain Henry Wirz given a fair trial?

In August 1865, President Andrew Johnson ordered that the charges against Confederate generals and public servants should be dropped but not for Captain Henry Wirz. The Wirz trail was a mockery with witnesses allowed to testify for the prosecution but few for the defense. Captain Wirz was hung in Washington, D.C. on November 10, 1865. It is written that Wirz was offered a deal to save his life, which was to testify against the former Confederate President Jefferson Davis. Wirz, being a man of honor, refused.

Captain Henry Wirz, in the last letter to his wife  —dated November 10th -- said in the concluding sentence:  "Lord, thou callest me, here I am…And, now, farewell, wife children, all; farewell, farewell; God be with us." 

In 1977, at the National Convention of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, this Historical-Fraternal group declared Captain Henry Wirz a Confederate Martyr and Hero. A posthumous Medal of Honor was also presented in honor and memory of Captain Wirz and is on display at the Andersonville Welcome Center.

McCaskill’s Husband Awarded $20 Million in Stimulus For Real Estate Projects

It looks as though the word is getting out over Claire McCaskill and her husband and just how she is helping his businesses out in the Senate. Real estate projects associated with Joseph Shepard received more than $20 million in stimulus money at taxpayer’s expense.

The National Legal and Policy Center reported:

An analysis of public records by the National Legal and Policy Center (NLPC) has found more than $20 million in federal stimulus funds benefitting real estate projects financially tied to Joseph Shepard, husband of Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill.
Earlier this month, the Associated Press published an analysis, stating, “businesses affiliated with the husband of Senator Claire McCaskill have received almost $40 million in federal subsidies for low-income housing developments during her first five years in office…”

The NLPC analysis released today showed more than $20 million in financial benefits from the federal stimulus law to real estate projects associated with McCaskill’s husband, with all of the $20 million benefitting projects different than those identified by the Associated Press story.

While the AP study focused on federal subsidies going to entities listed on Financial Disclosure Reports filed by Senator McCaskill, NLPC reviewed voluminous public records involving the Missouri Tax Credit Fund, L.P. (MTCF), a business listed as an asset by Senator McCaskill on her reports.

None of the six real estate projects identified by NLPC as receiving over $20 million in federal stimulus funds were listed on McCaskill’s Financial Disclosure Reports or covered by the AP analysis.

According to McCaskill’s Financial Disclosure Reports, MTCF was listed as having an asset value of over $1 million in 2009, 2010, and 2011. Asset values are reported in broad ranges with “Over $1,000,000″ being the highest category. Therefore, it is possible that the asset value of MTCF is much larger than $1,000,000.

According to Reboot Congress the Claire and her husband make millions while we, the taxpayers, subsidize their extravagant lifestyle.
