IRS Investigation: Not So "Phony"
Today, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew gave an interview to Scott Pelley. In the clip, he attempts to bat aside the IRS targeting scandal by asserting that there's "no evidence" any political employee was involved in the targeting.
It
sounds good, of course -- but his "no evidence" formulation, designed
to suggest the administration's innocence (i.e., that "no evidence"
exists), means only that investigators have so far been prevented from
uncovering all the facts. When a key witness takes the Fifth; the President's hand-picked new IRS chief misleadingly "reports" that lefty groups were targeted, too; and Democrats seek to attack the Inspector General rather
than get to the truth, then it's entirely foreseeable that evidence
will take a while to emerge, but that doesn't necessarily mean it
doesn't exist.

Rep. Trey Gowdy notes that there are plenty of questions that still
need to be addressed to the IRS Chief Counsel, William J. Wilkins, the
President's man at the IRS:

Black mob leaves waiter with broken jaw
The black mob in Baltimore did not get the message.
Maybe the white person in the video being chased and beaten Saturday night by a black mob in Baltimore said something, did something, to antagonize his attackers.
Maybe he followed them. Maybe he profiled them. He’s not talking at the moment. He’s just out of surgery for a broken jaw. But this victim was no neighborhood watchman. He was just a waiter going home after working the evening shift at a local wine bar.
Maybe the woman they attacked soon before provoked the black mob in the same manner.

“Fast and Furious” Holder Doesn't Want You to be Able to Defend Yourself

In the wake of the results of the Zimmerman trial it was to be expected that the political left would seek, in some way, to compensate for the not guilty verdict by seeking to find another way to weaken the national fabric further.
They seem, possibly with the guidance and help of “Fast and Furious” Holder to have come upon a way that will help them accomplish this part of their agenda. Holder has questioned the “stand your ground” law in Florida that allows ordinary people to resist thuggery if they are attacked. His handlers will likely have him try to get it declared “racist” or some such thing so he can, in the name of protecting minorities, get it made null and void across the country.
According to an article on http://www.lewrockwell.com for July 18th, author Gary North said: “Attorney General Eric Holder stood his ground at a meeting of the NAACP. He said that ‘stand your ground’ laws are bad. He thinks black people, like all other people, should not carry a gun. They should not stand their ground when threatened.” In other words, tuck tail and run!
“Fast and Furious” Holder went on to say “…it’s time to question laws that needlessly expand the concept of self-defense and sow dangerous conflict in our neighborhoods.” After all, you wouldn’t want too many people, of whatever color, to get the idea that they have a right to defend their families, their lives and their property. We are all supposed to naively believe that it’s up to “the government” to do all that.

Military Censors Christian Chaplain, Atheists Call for Punishment

Reyes recently wrote an essay entitled, “No Atheists in Foxholes: Chaplains Gave All in World War II.” This common saying is attributed to a Catholic priest in World War II, made famous when President Dwight D. Eisenhower said during a 1954 speech: "I am delighted that our veterans are sponsoring a movement to increase our awareness of God in our daily lives. In battle, they learned a great truth that there are no atheists in the foxholes."
A Christian chaplain in the military is being officially censored for engaging in free speech, and anti-Christian activists are demanding he be punished.
Lt. Col. Kenneth Reyes is a Christian chaplain currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is stationed at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska.
