Husband shoots 2 bank robbery suspects who kidnapped him, his wife

Two bank robbery suspects were shot in Colorado County Thursday night by a man who said they kidnapped him and his wife, a bank employee.

According to the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office, the couple had been held at gunpoint by the suspects inside their home just north of Columbus. They were then forced to drive to the First National Bank of Eagle Lake in Columbus.

The suspects then forced the woman to take out an undisclosed amount of funds, investigators said.
“We believe they had knowledge that she was an employee of the bank for them to be at the residence and to take her back,” Sgt. Andrew Weido with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office said.

He said the suspects then forced the husband to drive them in his truck south down Highway 71, and that's when the husband of the bank employee was able to gain access to a firearm inside the vehicle.

He fired at the suspects near County Road 101. Authorities then responded to a 911 call from the scene at 7:30 p.m. with the Columbus Police Department arriving first.

When they arrived, officers found the two suspects with gunshot wounds lying on the ground near a pickup that was parked in a ditch.

One of the wounded, 20-year-old Jordan Kutach, was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. The other, 21-year-old Preston Kutach, was taken by EMS to the Columbus Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Both suspects lived in the community of Rock Island and neighbors said they were brothers.

Republicans piss me off.  The Dems at least had the honesty to kick Lieberman out of their party, why the hell do the Republicans let Chris Christie still have a seat at the table?

In classic war, the victor is decided by whose Army occupies whose capital at the end of it.  In a "counter-insurgency" or "5th gen warfare" who wins is largely a matter of public opinion.

Ever wonder why the media worked so hard to link the TEA Party with "racism"?  Perception.

Ever wonder why the media works so hard to make George Zimmerman a "white hispanic" after they tried to make him "white"?  Perception.

Ever wonder why when a black kid gets killed by a non-black the media goes into feeding frenzy mode with Al, Jesse, and the rest of the Race Warlord Poverty Pimps, and when a young white couple is slain in their home we hear nothing on the national stage?  Perception.

WARNING: Someone is Trying to Set Up Liberty Activists Using Child Porn

Via avordvet

This a warning to all of our members, readers, supporters, and to the general liberty movement.
Please be extremely careful with email, and do not open any attachments from anyone who you don’t know, or from any suspicious email, such as tormail.  And even if it seems to be from someone you know, take the time to read the email address carefully, to see if it is from a Tormail account, or other anonymous email service.  It could be someone impersonating someone you know, to trick you into opening files with child-porn on them.

No one here at Oath Keepers uses tormail or any other anonymous email service, so if you see an email purporting to be from Oath Keepers, or from anyone in leadership at Oath Keepers, from such an email service, do not open it.

There have been a string of anonymous attacks on liberty activists, all attempting to trick people into opening email attachments containing child-porn.   We know of at least four such attempts within the past few weeks.

The first was when someone emailed Luke Rudkowski, Founder of We Are Change and tried to trick him into opening attached jpeg files containing child porn.   Luke was able to use the “view” function of his email to see that the images were child porn and he did not open them.

Just, You Know, Mexico

We used to camp for a month at a time.

People seeming to have an interest in Mexico and the desperate,blood-soakded lives we live here, I asked Vi to find photos she liked in the archives and stick them together. Herewith. Photos by FOE Staff.

Average beach, MicnoacĂ n, at sundown. Fred, dissolute as a matter of prinicple, supervises waves with a cold Tecate. To get here, you drive north from Ajijic to Guadalajara, turn left until you hit the Pacific coast at Manzanillo, turn left again, and find hundreds, perhaps thousands or millions, of miles of deserted beaches. We stay in a little town with one hotel of four rooms, one of them a suite, of about two stars, with chickens cackling in the yard and no gringos, cackling or otherwise. And eat garlic shrimp in a restaurant whose floor is the beach, with a leaky thatch roof and usually no customers. Maybe there is a God.

Mugabe and the White African

Mugabe-and-the-White-African11

We’re all just really surviving until this regime’s over,” says the daughter of a white African farmer being pushed from his farm in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe).  Her husband, Ben, also lives and works on the farm.  The white African family is presumably finishing up dinner in their home when they’re alerted that seven black Africans armed with axes and machetes are in the maize field.  Mike Campbell, the white African farmer, says he’ll go out after he finishes his drink.  Their farm is supposed to be protected from invasion through a court order.  As Mike grabs a flashlight and loads his shotgun, we see a group of farm hands load up into pickup trucks to investigate with Mike and his son-in-law.
“I mean, there’s no law and order.  We can’t go to the police.  You know, you’ve got to do something…”

A federal judge in Richmond, Va., has refused to dismiss from a lawsuit several FBI and Secret Service agents as well as local police officers who arrested a military veteran based on an opinion from a counselor who had never met him that he might be a danger.

The officers had confronted the veteran, Brandon Raub, after he expressed criticism of the U.S. government on a social networking page.

They arrested Raub and kept him in custody for an evaluation based on the long-distance opinion from Michael Campbell, a psychotherapist hired by the local county. But when the case came before a judge, his ruling found the concerns raised by the officers were “so devoid of any factual allegations that it could not be reasonably expected to give rise to a case or controversy.”

Raub then sued the officers for taking him into custody.

The latest ruling rejected a request by the officers to end the case.

Ruse of War: 6 Sneaky But Brilliant Strategies

Via Ninety Miles From Tyranny

War can be tricky—especially when done correctly. It's called Ruse of War, the act of clever tactic or deception on the battlefield. Think Trojan Horse, but less ridiculous. (“After a 10-year siege, the Greeks have given up and disappeared and look—they felt so bad they totally left us a present!”)
Here are six commanders who were dealt bad hands, but bluffed and ended up flush. Some of the more ancient accounts are, of course, tough to verify. But even if time has padded these stories into legends, it doesn’t make the tactical strategies any less astounding.

1. Persians Without Noses, a Threat Still Poses.

Around 500 years BC, Darius the Great was sweeping through Asia and Africa, conquering everything. He was spread thin, so revolts popped up everywhere. Darius and his armies were able to stamp them all down, except one: Babylon. Babylon was so well barricaded that Darius, though he sat outside with his armies for a year and a half, couldn’t get in. Enter Persian noble Zopyrus, and his brilliant, disgusting plan to take Babylon.

One morning the Babylonians rose to see the high ranking Persian at their gates, soaked in his own blood, whipped, with his ears and nose hacked off. He screamed that Darius had done this to him for failing to capture their city, and that now his rage was so great he wished to defect and help Babylon defeat the brutal Darius.

And … they totally bought it. Zopyrus had cut off his own nose and ears and arranged his own whipping, all with Darius’ knowledge. Zopyrus Rhinotmetus (no-nose) quickly rose in the ranks of the Babylonian army, and just as quickly weakened the city's defenses. Darius soon recaptured the city, and reportedly festooned Zopyrus with great titles and wealth.

Bad News for Blacks; Country’s Financial Picture Spells Their Doom

Via NC Renegade

The average person in the United States might think that Obama would be frantic and worried to a frazzle over the current national fiscal status and its dire outlook for the futures of the blacks of America.  But does Barack Hussein Obama look or act worried and downtrodden in his daily cavorts around the country or even the world?

If you said “No” you would be absolutely correct.  Things are working out fiscally perfect and just the way he, or I should say, his mentors in the U. N. have planned them.  The deeper in debt the blacks are the more indebted they will become to this phony tin-horn dictator who is bailing them out with taxpayer’s dollars and reaping the benefits of obsequiousness and poverty without the burden of personal debt or fear of having to pay taxes.

It’s the best of both worlds for Obama; he steals honest taxpaying citizens’ tax dollars from the U. S. Treasury with impunity and has no fear of being forced to repay it.  Thus his quasi legal acts of theft are also of no danger to his standings in the free world and they reap the huge benefits of gaining millions of ballot box advantage votes from a downtrodden segment of the population that is happy doing nothing but place an “X” in the box adjacent to the names of Democrats, Obama in particular, on the ballot for public office.

The more he steals and cheats, the happier and well fed his constituents become and the bigger the smile across the facial area where his prominent happy molars are rooted.

Libertarianism

Some libertarians are applauding the recent Supreme Court decisions relating to same-sex marriage, not because of anything to do with the Constitution, limited government, federalism, individual liberty, the proper role of government, or separating marriage from the state, but because they just happen to like the idea of same-sex marriage. As I have argued elsewhere, they are entitled to their opinion, but there is no libertarian “position” on same-sex marriage.

On Tuesday, March 26, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments for and against California’s Proposition 8, a ballot initiative passed in 2008 that eliminated the right of same-sex couples to marry that the California Supreme Court had recognized.

On Wednesday, March 27, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments on the merits and demerits of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), federal legislation passed in 1996 that defined marriage as only “a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife” and that permits states to refuse to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states.

On June 26, 2013, the Supreme Court ruled that the section of DOMA that defined marriage (sec. 3) was unconstitutional, thus ending the ban on same-sex married couples being recognized as married and eligible to receive federal benefits. The Court also let stand a 2010 federal district court ruling that declared Proposition 8 to be unconstitutional.

Conservatives who believe in traditional marriage and consider the term “same-sex marriage” to be an oxymoron are disturbed by the Supreme Court’s rulings. This is not generally because they find fault with any legal or constitutional arguments, but because the Court did not, in their eyes, rule in favor of traditional marriage—legal and constitutional arguments be damned.

But conservatives are also disturbed by what they see as libertarian support for same-sex marriage. This is not generally because they find fault with any arguments about individual liberty and the proper role of government, but because libertarians are not, in their eyes, upholding traditional marriage—philosophical arguments be damned.
