SORRY ABE, WE HAVE A VICTORY! Good news comes on a Friday! We have been working the past few weeks with an SCV family in South Georgia, whose 15 year old son attends the local government middle school. His Principal sent him home at the start of the school year for wearing a t-shirt bearing the flag of the 2nd American Revolution aka the Confederate Battle flag - even though, as is almost always the case, there was NO disruption caused by the shirt - and had been unofficial policy to ban for years. 

 

After consulting with the father, and arming the son with various "protest" shirts, we began the preparation for battle that almost always must end in litigation to succeed. First round however is always trying to work it out administratively with the school board. Well here's the Friday miracle - the school & principal backed off and will let the young man wear his Confederate shirts. 

 

In the 17 years we have done these cases, we can only think of 2 or 3 in the South that were favorably settled without a lawsuit. What's more this school is in the federal 11th circuit where the viciously anti-Confederate Denno v Volusia County is the LAW of the circuit. Schools can ban our flag with impunity, if they want to. But not in this school - somebody in a position of authority was fair, still believed in the constitution was fair and did the right thing. God bless you whoever you were. So everyone have a glass of champagne - then back in the fight!

Exclusive Benghazi Freedom of Information Act Request: Hours after the attack … “Cleared hot on the email”

Hours after the September 11, 2012 Benghazi attack that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens, information management officer Sean Smith, former Navy SEALs and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operatives, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, according to information obtained in a Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA), members of the US armed forces were looking for answers to the million dollar question: Why wasn’t Ambassador Christopher Stevens properly protected? They were in the dark along with the American people and did not appear to know about the Obama administration’s CIA gunrunning operation from Benghazi through Turkey into Syria arming Sunni “rebels” linked to al-Qaeda type groups to oust President Bashar al-Assad either—but the US military will be asked to finish the job in Syria that was started in Benghazi if Obama has his way.

This is why Ambassador Stevens was not protected by all available US military assets and Obama’s America is on the brink of war with Syria today. Remember as the Wall Street Journal reported: “The US effort in Benghazi was at its heart a CIA operation,” and Hillary’s State Department presence in Benghazi “provided diplomatic cover.”

What? Did you think what happened in Benghazi is not related to Syria right now? Forgive my frustration, you are not allowed to play dumb anymore. The CIA gunrunning operation in Benghazi is what fueled it and set what is happening today in Syria in motion.

Hundreds of Alawite civilians have been killed, kidnapped or have disappeared during a rebel offensive on President Bashar al-Assad’s heartland province of Latakia, local residents have reported. 

Syrian rebels have pushed deep into the coastal Alawite stronghold for the first time, seizing a string of villages in a campaign which, locals have warned, threatens to open the area up to full-blown sectarian war.

"We are still finding people who were killed in their homes, and bodies left in bushes," said Sheikh Mohammed Reda Hatem, an Alawite religious leader in Latakia. "Until now 150 Alawites from the villages have been kidnapped. There are women and children among them. We have lost all contact with them."

The village of Maaloula has been taken over by Syrian rebels associated with al Qaeda, who have stormed the Christian center and offered local Christians a choice: conversion or death. A resident of the town said the rebels shouted “Allahu Akhbar” as they moved through the village, and proceeded to assault Christian homes and churches

“They shot and killed people,” he said. “I heard gunshots and then I saw three bodies lying in the middle of a street in the old quarters of the village. Where is President Obama to see what has befallen us?” Another witness stated, “I saw the militants grabbing five villagers and threatening them and saying, ‘Either you convert to Islam, or you will be beheaded.’”

Who funds Syrian rebel advocate O’Bagy and the Syrian Emergency Task Force? You do

 

The Syrian Emergency Task Force, the pro-rebel lobbying outfit that employs widely quoted intervention advocate Elizabeth O’Bagy as its political director, receives funding from the U.S. Department of State and related government contractors.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller earlier last week, O’Bagy explained how she got paid. O’Bagy has been roundly condemned for working for a pro-Syrian lobbying group at the same time she was casting the Syrian rebels in a positive light. She works as an analyst at the neoconservative think tank, the Institute for the Study of War.

“Most of the contracts that I’ve been a part of through the Task Force have been through CSO, which is the Conflict and Stabilization Office[sic],” O’Bagy told The Daily Caller. O’Bagy was likely referring to the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations, a State Department-funded organization.

Army colonel who commanded Bloody Sunday troops is second ex-Para to be killed in Kenya within a fortnight after being shot dead by robbers while visiting his son

A decorated former Parachute Regiment colonel has been murdered by a gang of armed robbers in front of his family in Kenya.

Colonel Edward Loden, 73, who commanded the unit that fired all the fatal shots during the Bloody Sunday massacre in 1972, was attacked while on holiday visiting his son in Nairobi.

He is the second senior Parachute Regiment officer to be killed in a fortnight in the country, following the murder of Lt Col David Parkinson, who was hacked to death by machete-wielding robbers on the nature reserve he managed.
