Male dogs in a pack want to be alpha-dog, and fight to get there. Male politicians, to include the marginally female, want to be alpha-pol and fight, scratch, claw, lie, cheat, and steal to get there. 

Politics rewards the unprincipled and truculent, and thus those most likely to start wars. A fairly small number of these pathologically combative people decide whether a country of three hundred million go to war with another that most of the population has never heard of.

Dozens of Afghan troops AWOL from military training in U.S.

Forty-four Afghan troops visiting the United States for military training have gone missing in less than two years, presumably in an effort to live and work illegally prepare for Jihad in America, Pentagon officials said.

Although the number of disappearances is relatively small -- some 2,200 Afghan troops have received military training in the United States since 2007 -- the incidents raise questions about security and screening procedures for the programs.

Leaked Audio: Clinton Says Supreme Court Is ‘Wrong’ on Second Amendment

Hillary Clinton slammed the Supreme Court as “wrong on the Second Amendment” and called for reinstating the assault weapons ban during a small private fundraiser in New York last week, according to audio of her remarks obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

While Clinton has previously supported an assault weapons ban, this is the first time since launching her campaign that she indicated that she would take on the Supreme Court over gun issues.

Hannity Goes After Megyn Kelly

Sean Hannity has hurled what many of his Fox News Channel viewers would consider an insult at colleague Megyn Kelly: He accused her of being a Hillary Clinton supporter.

Hannity reacted by Twitter on Wednesday night after Kelly had a segment on her show about the presidential candidates tightly controlling press access. She noted that Republican Donald Trump "will go on Hannity and pretty much only Hannity and will not venture out to unsafe spaces these days."

Hannity responded on Twitter, writing "u should be mad at @HillaryClinton. Clearly you support her. And @realDonaldTrump did talk to u." When another Twitter user told Hannity he should stand by his colleagues, the host said, "Sure. When they stand by me."

During the event a young 15 year-old girl asked Hillary Clinton a question on body image.

But this group at USC that is doing a poll with us they did the same technique four yearsago and they produced a very accurate poll. They were one of the only polls that got President Obama’s reelection margin right. So we think they’re doing a good job.
