A federal judge in Hawaii has denied a motion filed by that state seeking to limit the scope of President Donald Trump's so-called travel ban, parts of which were cleared to be implemented by the U.S. Supreme Court.

U.S. District Judge Derrick Watson said in a ruling Thursday in Honolulu that the Supreme Court is the proper venue to deal with the issue. Watson denied the request without prejudice to its re-filing with the Supreme Court.

G20, Why Do They Bother?

Via Joe

For the last couple of decades, every year we get these so-called G20 or G7 summit conferences. Increasingly they have become little more than excuses for gatherings of violent anarchists and leftists to reek havoc and destruction on one major city after another.

New Army Training Tells Female Soldiers To ‘Accept’ Naked Men In Their Showers

I recently received a copy of the new ‘Tier Three Transgender Training’ materials that the U.S. Army is now using in mandatory training for all soldiers.

On June 30, hours before the policy took effect, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis postponed the opening of military enlistments to transgender people for an additional six months. The delay does not prevent currently serving soldiers from transitioning, however. It is intended to give the joint chiefs more time to review and mitigate the Obama-era rule’s impact on the “readiness and lethality of our [armed] forces.”

Late into President Obama’s last term, his military officials allowed transgender soldiers to serve openly, even funding gender-change surgeries with taxpayer dollars. Former Defense Secretary Ash Carter set a July 1 deadline for all four military branches to write policies for accepting openly transgender enlistments. Formerly, soldiers exhibiting gender dysphoria were automatically discharged

US, Russia Reach Syria Cease-Fire Deal After 2 Hour Meeting

Liberals came unhinged earlier when President Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin saying it’s an honor to meet him.
The months of brainwashing by the fake news media has the dumbed-down leftists believing that any sort of talks with Russia is a bad thing. Of course it was okay when Obama or Hillary met with the Russians, but it’s treason when Trump does.
Makes sense.

The United States and Russia have reached agreement on a cease-fire in southwest Syria, three U.S. officials said Friday as President Donald Trump held his first meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Associated Press reports.

The Best Silencer Deregulatory Bill Ever! The SHUSH Act Introduced!

Maybe it occurred to you, but it never really occurred to me, until now, that suppressors should be treated as firearm accessories — not as firearms and certainly not as NFA items.  The Silencers Helping Us Save Hearing Act, S.1505, would do just that.

Introduced by Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Mike Crapo (R-ID) last week the SHUSH Act would eliminate ALL the federal regulations covering the possession, purchase, transfer, etc. of suppressors!
That would be huge!  That would be even better than the Hearing Protection Act (HPA)!

11-Year-Old Alaska Boy Saves Family from Bear Attack

Eliot Clark and his family had seen the brown bear a few days earlier, so they decided to carry firearms for protection when they went fishing several miles south of Hoonah, Alaska.

That decision—combined with Clark’s bravery and quick shooting—likely saved their lives.

The Juneau Empire reported last week that Clark had joined his uncle, his uncle’s father, and a cousin on a June 18 fishing trip when the incident occurred.

The party was walking single-file through the woods, led by Clark’s uncle who had a rifle slung over his shoulder. Clark, who was third in line, was also armed with a pump-action shotgun, though he had yet to install a sling and was carrying it in his hands.

General Lee Speaks: Had it Figured Out

“The consolidation of the states into one vast empire, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of ruin which has overwhelmed all that preceded it.” Robert E. Lee

The man was perceptive. Amalgamation of the states under a central government has led to exactly the effects foreseen by General Lee.

In, say, 1950, to an appreciable though imperfect extent America resembled a confederacy. Different regions of the America had little contact with each other, and almost no influence over one another. The federal government was small and remote. Interstates did not exist, nor of course the internet, nor even direct long-distance telephone dialing. West Virginia, Alabama, Massachusetts, New York City, Texas, and California had little in common, but little conflict arose since for practical purposes they were almost different countries. They chiefly governed themselves. The  proportion of federal to state law was small.

It is important to note that regional differences were great. In 1964 in rural Virginia, the boys brought shotguns to school during deer season. Nobody shot anybody because it wasn’t in the culture. The culture was uniform, so no one was upset. It is when cultures are mixed, or one rules another, that antagonism comes.  Such shotgun freedom would not have worked in New York City with its variegated and often mutually hostile ethnicities.
