Donald Trump Plans to ‘Make Changes’ to Paul Ryan Amnesty Bill & 13 Facts the Media ‘Pros’ Don’t Want You to Know About ‘Family Border Separation’

 

Looks like Trump is chickening out.

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he planned to make changes to Speaker Paul Ryan’s proposed immigration legislation to address the current crisis at the border.

“We have a House that’s getting ready to finalize an immigration package that they’re going to brief me on later, and I’m going to make changes to it,” Trump said during a speech at the NFIB 70th anniversary celebration in Washington, DC.

The current bill proposed by House leadership would give amnesty to over 1.8 million children of illegal immigrants in exchange for modest border security funding. Trump is scheduled for a briefing by House Republicans later Tuesday evening.

American women live under a suffocating patriarchy. Rape culture flourishes in the US. Toxic masculinity stunts the emotional and professional growth of American females. Sexual harassment and predation are ubiquitous in American workplaces.

These propositions are self-evident to a large, interlocking establishment of government bureaucrats, progressive politicians, college administrators, faculty, “activists,” professionals and journalists.
Yet this same establishment is up in arms over a recent declaration by US Attorney General Jeff Sessions that female aliens caught trying to enter the country illegally will no longer be automatically considered for asylum by dint of claiming that they are victims of domestic abuse.

Political commentator Mark Steyn compared how illegals enter the US to how Americans are treated while traveling inside their own borders.

“This is a country supposedly on ‘orange alert,’” Steyn said, referring to the terror threat level. “Over half of the illegal aliens present broke into a country on orange alert - that is to say, they’ve come here since 9-11.”

“Americans shuffle like a bovine herd through security that demands to know the consistency of their pumpkin pie if they’re flying home to Thanksgiving from New York to Cleveland, but the rest of the world is entitled to walk across the Rio Grande if they happen to have a little moppet in tow with them.”

Marine who marched with Patriots in Charlottesville found guilty in court-martial

The U.S. Marine who marched with neo-Nazis in last summer's "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, has been found guilty in a summary court-martial after he reportedly bragged online about participating in the violence that day. 

Lance Cpl. Vasillios Pistolis was convicted Monday of failing to obey an order or regulation and making a false official statement under Articles 92 and 107 in the Uniform Code of Military Justice, according to the 2nd Marine Logistics Group.

No, Christopher Wray, we don't trust you

 

FBI Director Christopher Wray’s press conference Thursday, in response to the Department of Justice (DOJ) inspector general’s report on the FBI’s mishandling of the Clinton email server investigation, was nauseating and chilling. After listening to it, one could be forgiven for thinking that all that had really happened was some FBI employees had been caught taking red staplers or performing office hijinks. 

Nothing could be further from the truth. 

Wray toed the same line as the Office of Inspector General (OIG)  report, claiming that there was no political bias on display.

West Point grad discharged from Army opens opportunity for military to seek money back

The West Point graduate, who last year posed in a picture holding a cap that had “Communism will win” written inside, is officially out of the U.S. Army with an other-than-honorable discharge.

Spenser Rapone rocked the military community last year after his social media posts were revealed, showing him wearing a Che Guevara shirt underneath his military uniform.

He is no longer part of the U.S. military after top brass at Fort Drum’s 10th Mountain Division accepted his resignation Monday after an earlier warning for “conduct unbecoming of an officer.”

He’s leaving the military with an other-than-honorable discharge.

Paul Ryan's immigration bill gains traction ahead of House votes

A bill put together by House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., that he hopes will be a compromise on immigration reform for both moderates and conservative Republicans appears to have won approval of key negotiators.

Reps. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., and Michael McCaul, R-Texas, said they back the Ryan plan, even though they have authored a more conservative immigration reform proposal that House lawmakers are supposed to vote on this month.

The approval of Goodlatte and McCaul could help bring in support for the Ryan compromise plan from a faction of conservatives who will be needed to help pass the bill. While the legislation is not scheduled yet for a vote this week, it is expected on the floor for consideration in the coming days.
