Subpoena from Rep. Bennie Thompson's committee attributes allegation to legendary journalist's latest book, which makes no such claim, in potential embarrassment for Democrat-led probe.
Earlier this month, the Jan. 6 commission in Congress made headlines when it issued a subpoena alleging lawmakers had "credible evidence" that on the day before the Capitol riot former New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik attended a meeting at the posh Willard Hotel in Washington where Trump advisers discussed how to overturn the November 2020 election.
The subpoena even cited an impressive source: a book by famed investigative journalist Bob Woodward. You can read that here:

The Salvation Army wants its white donors to give it more than just money this Christmas season. Its leadership is also demanding they apologize for being racist.
It's part of a push by the Christian charitable organization to embrace the ideas of Black Lives Matter, an activist group working to, among other things, "dismantle white privilege" and "disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure."

Newly-released video from the Jan. 6 U.S. Capitol display appears to show U.S. Capitol police kicking 34-year-old Rosanne Boyland to death.
The fake news media had previously claimed that Boyland was trampled to death by pro-Trump rioters and then claimed she died of a drug overdose, but the footage released by the FBI appears to indicate otherwise:

A review of Robert E. Lee: A Life (Random House, 2021) by Allen Guelzo
“How do you write the biography of someone who commits treason?” asks historian Allen C. Guelzo in his new book Robert E. Lee: A Life. It’s a bit of an odd question for a historian to ask. Sure, treason is a terrible crime. But so are lots of things: spreading violent revolution, engaging in unprovoked wars with other nations, or having one’s wife (or wives) killed. And yet biographies of Marx, Napoleon, and Henry VIII abound. Presumably the authors of these books did not feel the need to anguish in their introductions over their subject matter.
