HUNTER RESIGNATION CONFIRMS 2ND CLASS CITIZENSHIP STATUS OF SOUTHERNERS

 By Kirk D. Lyons

Libertarian Senator Rand Paul has done the inevitable: he has sacked his aide Jack Hunter, aka the Southern Avenger, after the liberal media (now there's an oxymoron)  began baying for Hunter's blood 2 weeks ago. Hunter's crime, for a crime it was, was that a few of his incisive you-tube essays as the masked "Southern Avenger" criticised Abraham Lincoln, praised John Wilkes Booth and acknowledged the justness of secession. Hounded for this blasphemy and his past membership in the Morris Dees condemned League of the South, the media jackals, with cries of "racist," "racist," "white supremacist," Hunters boss did the stupid-party-inevitable and sacked his aide. Of course Hunter had already back-pedalled for all he was worth, coming just short of winning the Senator Trent Lott public ritual political suicide award for bleating "I'm not a racist - please, please believe me." Hunter didn't use those actual words - but that was his message to the press, in a pathetic bid to keep his job - that and asking folks to help him erase his past internet posts.

The real bogey man in all of this is Rand Paul, who, assuming Hunter didn't do something really bad - like keeping a string of child mistresses or selling smack, should have stood by his aide and told the press to, as the British put it, "Bloody well bugger off."

By accepting Hunter's resignation, Paul tacitly accepted the media smear of his aide - which weakens Paul and strengthen his many enemies in the press, all while alienating himself from his core constituency. Paul may think he can sneak himself into GOP respectability - if he really thinks that he is already one of them or a complete idiot- there is not a 3rd choice.

The left has made it clear that people who hold traditional Southern views on history are "racist white supremacists" and not fit to be employees of public officials. Unless we affirm the path of the USSA Politburo we are not possessed of any rights our leaders are bound to respect - including having divergent views on an historical figure. If that is not 2nd class citizenship for people like us - I will mail you my "Little Red Book."

The traditional South continues to be marginalized by the left and with the support of so-called conservatives, pushed farther & farther to the fringe - while our own "leaders" betray us. The Confederate community desperately needs to organize, politically,  for its own interests -  conventional politicians will talk nice then betray Southern voters. How long will the traditional South put up with this oldest of shell games?

Community Defense Framework The Basics of HUMINT Collection: Tactical Questioning

 http://www.phibetaiota.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/HUMINT-AFRICOM.jpg

Before we get into TQ, I’ve updated the Training page to reflect a few classes.  We have the first ICAC scheduled for the Atlanta area on 17-18 August.  We already have a nice sized class shaping up.  I’m going to limit these classes to 10 pax because there will be a lot of questions, and because everyone benefits from one-on-one interaction.  We have a few spots left, so email me if you’re interested.

Seeing as how the new Intelligence Collection and Analysis Course (ICAC) is going to cover interviewing and tactical questioning, I figured now’s a good a time as any to provide a brief primer on the mystical skills of “interrogation”.

In keeping with our motto that “Every Patriot is a Sensor”, it’s incumbent on all Patriots to collect information of intelligence value when able.  On a tactical or community level, most collection should be passive instead of active.  By passive collection, I mean collecting information that you overhear or come into contact with in the normal course of your duties; you’re not going out of your way to gather information.  If everyone was James Bond, there’d be thousands of 007 movies.  The best thing to do is unless you’ve been tasked to satisfy an intelligence requirement, to stay out of the way.  There’s no sense in fifteen “collectors” asking the same individual about the same information.  Chances are good that you’ll screw up the source, especially an unwitting source.

In 1819, Rev. Moses Waddel “was induced to give up his academy business” and take the reins of the University of Georgia.  Born in North Carolina, educated in the ministry in Virginia and a preacher in Georgia, he had taught young John C. Calhoun and became the first native-born Southerner to fill the University presidency.  It was not unusual then to hear open and reasoned discussion on ending the New England slave trade and returning Africans to their homeland.

Abolition Sentiment in Georgia

“Athens [Georgia] and the Lower South at this time [1810] were in the midst of laying the foundations of that social order and culture, beautiful and polished yet seamy, captivating the elite Englishman and practical Yankee who touched it, the admiration of some, the curse of some . . .

In the excitement of the Federal Constitutional Convention, Georgia had stood for the foreign slave trade, but she no sooner won it than she freely flung it away. In 1819 at a banquet in Athens this toast was drunk: “The [Foreign] Slave Trade – The scourge of Africa; the disgrace of humanity.  May it cease forever, and may the voice of peace, of Christianity and of Civilization, be heard on the savage shores.”

At this time the whole subject of slavery was discussed in the Georgia papers with reason and dispassion, and in 1824 the president of the University “heard the Senior Forensic Disputation all day on the policy of Congress abolishing Slavery – much fatigued but amused.” Apparently the students were doing some thinking also.

The trustees, were, likewise not opposed to a possible disposition of slavery, for [Rev. Robert] Finley, whom they had just elected president of the University, had been one of the organizers of the American Colonization Society.  He was, indeed, present in Washington at its birth and had been made one of its vice-presidents; and so vital did his work appear to one friend that he later wrote,
“If this colony [Liberia] should ever be formed in Africa, great injustice will be done to Mr. Finley, if in the history of it, his name be not mentioned as the first mover, and if some town or district in the colony be not called Finley.”  He, indeed, never lost interest in the project to his dying day – and then it “gave consolation to his last moments.”

The South was genuinely interested in ridding itself of this incubus, realizing, with Henry Clay, that Negroes freed and not removed were a greater menace than if they remained in slavery.”

Stereotypes about the South

AL
VERBATIM

I disagree with the reason's Alex Walsh gives in his story, "The American dream can by yours, but not if you are born in the South." First of all, Mr. Walsh talks about inner-city kids having very little chance of becoming millionaires in their lifetime. Just one example for success out of many for inter-city kids is Birmingham's own A.G. Gaston.

He became a very successful millionaire as a black man during the worst part of segregation in Birmingham. He didn't have the help and aid of the federal government and all its social programs to give him opportunities to rise to the top of the economic and social ladder. He pulled himself up by his own bootstraps with only the help of the black community. Today inner-city kids have all those opportunities at their disposal. If they do not use them then whose fault is this?

The economic outlook for children raised in the country has to be even less as there are fewer places for employment, educational opportunities and good paying jobs in rural areas. They do not have nor, will they ever have, the advantages of Affirmative Action and other government programs to give them a leg up in the world. Where is the equal concern for their future?

Most people do not become rich in their lifetimes in spite of the fact they might have finished high school and college and have good jobs. This is just the reality of life more than it is anything else. Success is determined by many other variables besides how much money they have accumulated in their lifetime like, quality of life and their satisfaction over the things they have accomplished during their life.

The only thing I have seen in my lifetime that has disqualified Southerners from getting a better education and opportunities for good jobs are the stereotypes that we must be ignorant, slow and lazy because of our accents and the region we grew up in. This prejudice and bigotry towards Southerners still exists, unabated to this very day.

When I was in the military, I had people from up north who had never been to the South ask me some of the most ridiculous questions about the South like, do we have indoor plumbing or do we still use out-houses? Do people in the South wear shoes, do we have cars or still use wagons drawn by horses etc. They were more serious about those questions than they were trying to be funny.

At first, those questions made me mad, then I came to realize that they truly did not know anything factual about the South other than the stereotypes and ignorance they had been fed about the South all of their lives. Until the rest of society in America gets rid of that unfair and biased thought process towards the South, we will be discriminated against because of who they think we are instead of who we actually are.

Then one day, we might be judged by our talents and work ethic instead of by the biases towards our history, heritage and culture which make us who we are but, not until then.

Obama Celebrates Ramadan: ‘Islam Has Contributed To The Character’ Of US

Via Billy

President Obama late Thursday celebrated Ramadan with a traditional dinner in the State Dining Room, saying that throughout the nation's history, “Islam has contributed to the character of our country."

In remarks before the Iftar dinner, eaten by Muslims after sunset to end the day of fasting, Obama quoted from the Koran, according to a White House pool report. "As the Koran teaches, whoever does an atom's weight of good will see its results."

"Muslim-Americans and their good works have helped to build our nation, and we've seen the results," he added.

Bank breaks into woman’s home, steals her stuff

In an unbelievable case of mistaken identity and overreach, a woman has lost all of her belongings because a bank foreclosed on the wrong home. They came in and repossessed all of her belongings, but they had no right to do so. Then they had the nerve to tell her they were ‘not paying retail’ in order to help the woman retrieve her belongings. The bank, First National Bank in Wellston, Ohio, better have a good team of lawyers.

“They repossessed my house on accident, thinking it was the house across the street,” Katie Barnett explained to 10TV.com.

“They told me that the GPS led them to my house,” Barnett said. “My grass hadn’t been mowed and they just assumed.”
